Chapter 164 - The Body Every Woman Desired

Chapter 164 – The Body Every Woman Desired

Thanks to the help of the three Sand siblings, the tide of battle shifted completely—Orochimaru's forces were utterly destroyed.

Facing Kabuto Yakushi, Toneri opened his eyes, revealing the power of his transplanted Byakugan. With overwhelming strength, he managed to defeat Kabuto… though the latter still escaped in the end.

Elsewhere, the inevitable clash between Naruto and Sasuke finally erupted.

Both fought with everything they had. Their power, will, and conviction were perfectly balanced. Yet, by the slightest margin, Naruto gained the upper hand.

That narrow difference only deepened Sasuke's resolve to walk his chosen path—to follow Orochimaru.

Seeing the determination in his friend's eyes, Naruto realized he couldn't stop him. He chose instead to trust him.

Before parting, they made a promise:

If, the next time they met, Naruto could defeat him, Sasuke would return to Konoha.

With heavy hearts and bittersweet smiles, Naruto and the others returned home—carrying both hope and sorrow in their chests.

Meanwhile, somewhere far away, Hatake Yusuke stood in line at a sweets shop in Kumogakure, humming in good spirits as he waited.

After a full hour, his turn finally came.

"Boss, I'll take twenty packs," Yusuke said cheerfully.

"I'm very sorry, sir, but there's a limit—only five per person today," the shopkeeper replied nervously.

"No way. I just saw a ninja walk off with more than that," Yusuke said, pointing toward a large shinobi who had left moments earlier.

"Ah, that's… because he's Raikage-sama," the clerk said awkwardly. "He's… a special case."

"Oh? I see… Fine then. I'll take five," Yusuke said casually, unfazed.

Humming softly, he walked away with his bags of sweets. "Hmm, matcha flavor, huh? Not bad at all," he murmured between bites.

Following the scent of more food, he eventually found himself standing before the Raikage's office.

The nervous Kumogakure ninja ahead of him hastened his steps, clearly aware that Yusuke was right behind him.

"Show some manners! How many times do I have to tell you not to barge in without knocking?" an elderly Jōnin scolded as they entered.

"S-sorry, Raikage-sama… Here are the sweets you ordered," the young ninja stammered, hands trembling.

"What's going on here?" Raikage asked with a frown.

Before anyone could answer, a lazy, teasing voice drifted in from behind.

"My, my. I'll admit—smooth skin suits sweet things like these. But you, Raikage-san? With that body? Didn't expect you to have such a sweet tooth."

Raikage's eyebrow twitched. "You again? What are you doing here?"

"Oh, nothing serious," Yusuke said, waving lightly. "I got lost, but then I smelled something delicious. So I followed it."

"Hmph. Take it and go," Raikage grunted, tossing him one of the sweets.

Yusuke caught it effortlessly. "Much appreciated. Just a little advice, though—too many sweets at your age might make you rounder," he said with a playful smile before vanishing from sight.

Raikage froze for a second, then roared in frustration. "That damn brat! One of these days—!"

Back in Konoha, Yusuke arrived at the Hokage's office just as Naruto and the others stood solemnly before Tsunade.

"Well, what's this gloomy atmosphere? Mission failure? Impossible. Toneri, did you lose? How disappointing for my pupil," Yusuke teased, glancing at the white-haired boy.

"This isn't Toneri's fault. I let Sasuke go," Naruto said, clenching his fists, guilt heavy in his voice.

"Oh? So you defeated Uchiha Sasuke, then?" Yusuke asked, smirking.

"I did… and I was the one who let him go."

"I see. Then there's no need to dwell on it," Yusuke said softly. "You've learned more from this than any victory could teach you. I'd say you even surpassed the mission's purpose."

"But… Yusuke-sensei, Sasuke…" Sakura looked down, her eyes shimmering.

"Sakura, Naruto," Yusuke began calmly, his tone firm. "You both need to stop being selfish. Everyone walks their own path—and that path is Sasuke's choice. You have no right to interfere."

He folded his arms, eyes sharp.

"Think about it, Naruto. If you dream of becoming Hokage, what if Sakura—your friend—told you it's too dangerous and begged you to give up? Or if your teachers said that, as a Jinchūriki, you don't deserve to be Hokage—would you abandon your dream just to please them?"

"I…" Naruto's voice faltered.

He had no answer.

He wanted to be Hokage, to be acknowledged. Yet if Yusuke was right, then Sasuke's own goal—to grow stronger, to face his brother—was no different.

Was Sasuke truly wrong?

Or had Naruto been the one who couldn't understand?

Silence fell as everyone sank into thought.

Finally, Yusuke spoke again, his tone gentler now.

"Remember, Naruto. Sasuke is your comrade—your strongest bond. Your role isn't to chain him down, but to support him. That's what true friendship means. If you can't respect his dream… then you don't deserve to call him your friend."

Naruto looked up, eyes blazing with clarity.

"I understand now, Uncle Yusuke. I can't let what others say trap me anymore. Sasuke will always be my friend. Someday, when he's achieved his dream and I've achieved mine, I'll bring him home—with pride."

Yusuke smiled faintly. "Good answer."

He turned to Tsunade. "Well then! Even if the mission technically failed, their effort was commendable. So, Hokage-sama—how about a reward? Let's treat them to grilled meat!"

"Yeaaah!!" Naruto and the others cheered instantly.

"Hatake Yusuke!" Tsunade slammed her hands on her desk, glaring. "Since when did I agree to that?!"

This mission was supposed to be a test, not a feast. And now he wanted her to pay? She didn't even have spare money!

If she did, she would've gambled it away by now.

"Come on, you're the Hokage," Yusuke said with a wink. "It's good for morale."

"That's not appropriate! I still have work to do. What kind of Hokage joins a barbecue with her subordinates?" Tsunade huffed.

"What kind of Hokage doesn't? You should mingle with your people, Tsuna-chan. (Besides, you were basically forced into this job anyway.)" Yusuke said, tone flat but teasing.

"…Fine! I'll treat them!" Tsunade snapped at last.

"Tsunade-sama, wait! You still have paperwork—" Shizune protested.

"Relax, Shizune," Yusuke said smoothly. "Even Hokage need rest. If she collapses from stress, that'd be a real loss for the village."

Shizune sighed, utterly defeated. There was no winning against Yusuke's silver tongue—or his infuriating logic.

— — —

Later that evening, Yusuke, Tsunade, Shizune, and the young Genin gathered at a yakiniku restaurant.

And that was when everyone truly learned the meaning of a human eating machine.

Yusuke devoured plate after plate of grilled meat, rice, and side dishes as though his stomach had no bottom.

Naruto ate calmly beside him, perfectly accustomed to the sight. The others, however, watched in stunned silence.

Even Sakura and Temari, seated nearby, found themselves staring—not just at how much he ate, but how nothing about him seemed to change.

He ate like a beast, yet his body remained perfectly toned—tall, lean, and flawless.

A towering 190 centimeters, effortlessly handsome, with not a shred of fat on him.

It was, in short, the kind of physique every woman secretly desired.

Temari sighed quietly, hiding her blush as she looked away.

Sakura muttered under her breath, "It's unfair…"

Across the table, Yusuke simply smiled, reaching for another plate. "What's wrong? You girls not eating?"

No one answered.

Even Tsunade, normally unshakable, found herself staring blankly—half amazed, half exasperated—at the man who could eat like a monster and still look like a god.
