Hazel's POV
Colton's eyes scared me a lot as it grew bigger and was scary, having that wild and unpredictable look as to what he would do next. His movements became erratic and jerky. He began to pace back and forth, his voice rising to a shout as he ranted about things that made no sense. We were kissing in the hall and he had carried me to his room but now, his behavior was like a switch had been flipped, and the man I loved was gone, replaced by a stranger who seemed to be possessed by some dark force.
As I watched, frozen in horror, Colton's actions brought back memories I thought I had long buried. The way he moved, the look in his eyes, it all reminded me of Liam, the man who had tormented me for so long. The same feeling of helplessness and fear crept over me, and I felt like I was trapped in a nightmare all over again.
