Colton's POV
As I burst out of the window, the cool night air hit me like a slap in the face, snapping me back to reality. I didn't hesitate, my mind racing with a singular focus which was to confront the evil that had haunted me for so long.
I sprinted across the courtyard, my feet pounding the stone pavement, my heart racing with anticipation. The palace loomed before me, its darkness reaching towards the moon like skeletal fingers. I didn't flinch, my determination driving me forward.
With a fierce cry, I slammed open the palace doors and stormed into the darkness within, ready to face the monster that lurked within which was my own twin brother, Liam.
The anger that was within me to attack my brother and challenge him was choking me to death. I was so furious as I knew that he had a hand in all of this. I couldn't just wait to get my hands on that bastard and teach him a lesson that he would never forget me.
