Osiroh, General Hospital.
Jelian and Nandi were hugging each other, so happy to see each other again, even though they had only been apart for a few hours. They missed each other terribly, though.
"Are you okay? Are you in pain?" Jelian asked with a bright smile, reassuring Nandi as he stroked her hair.
"Yes, I'm fine..". Nandi was sobbing uncontrollably as she answered.
This continued for a few minutes, with Dr. Tetsuya and the nurse waiting patiently.
Jelian turned to the doctor and hesitantly asked, "So, is my sister okay?"
"Your sister is fine, you can rest assured," the doctor replied politely and formally.
"Your sister was suffering from severe internal bleeding, the source of which was her liver, but the operation went well, and we were able to close the wound, and now she's fine".
Jelian was relieved after hearing her. He didn't understand what had happened, but he understood that Nandi's problem had been resolved, and she was now healthy.
"She now has a blood deficiency. We'll provide her with blood bags, and in two days, she'll be able to leave the hospital".
Jelian and Nandi were delighted by this news.
"Really, that's good news!" Aiden suddenly entered, followed by Luzia.
"Are you okay?" Aiden asked Nandi.
"Uh..., I'm..., f..., fine..". Nandi replied hesitantly and in a low voice. She didn't look at him, but hid her head behind Jelian's arm as she held his clothes tightly.
"Hahaha, glad to hear that".
Luzia moved a little closer, watching them with interest and curiosity.
"Hey, girl, what happened to you? Why do you have a wound on your stomach?" Luzia asked directly towards Nandi.
This shocked everyone. Luzia walked off without any knowledge and brazenly walked into the crowd.
Nandi certainly didn't respond, but she looked at him curiously as she hid behind Jelian's arm.
"Jelian, who is this?" Nandi asked in a low voice.
Jelian smiled at her and said, "This girl is called Luzia. She came with us from the mission a while ago".
"A Mission?"
After Nandi's questioning, Jelian explained everything that had happened from the time she started bleeding until this moment. She understood everything and listened attentively.
The doctor and nurse watched all these events patiently, knowing full well that Nandi would trust no one but her brother. She had barely responded to Aiden's question.
She could only fully calm down when Jelian was nearby; therefore, he wanted to take full advantage of this.
"So, Jelian Farouq, right? Could you ask Miss Nandi Farouq to trust us?" The doctor immediately made the request to Jelian.
Jelian was slightly surprised by this, then turned to Nandi.
"Nandi, will you be okay with this?" Jelian asked quietly.
"But... I don't want you to leave me here," Nandi replied carefully, frowning, in a calm voice.
"Don't worry, we're not in Corredith anymore, and these are just doctors; they won't hurt you or do anything".
"No!" Nandi shouted, clenching her head and fists at Jelian.
"You won't be alone. I'll be there soon. Didn't you tell me we had to turn over a new leaf?"
"But..".
"And besides, it'll just be this doctor. You won't see anyone else".
"..".
Nandi didn't reply, but she frowned even more. She wasn't unaware of what was happening, but the fear and terror were too much for her to bear, and she wanted nothing but her brother, Jelian.
Jelian was a little confused, unsure how to convince her, and thought for a while.
"Nandi, look at me", Nandi commanded quietly.
Slowly, Nandi looked into her brother's eyes, and his expression had become slightly serious.
"Nandi, do you trust me?"
She was surprised by his question, but nodded.
"You know I'll protect you no matter what, right?"
Nandi nodded.
"And you know we're no longer in that dangerous place. We came all this way to get away from danger and be with normal people, don't you agree?"
"You're right, brother".
"Then can I ask you a small favor?"
Nandi was surprised by this. It was completely unusual. As far as she knew, her brother had never made a request before, so she watched Jelian's solemn expression with interest.
But his expression changed, and he smiled affectionately. "Can you trust this doctor? Well, I trust him. Why don't you trust him, too?"
Nandi was confused at his request and looked at the doctor strangely.
Nandi hesitated, frowning, thinking for a long time. But soon, Jelian heard her answer.
"Well, if my brother trusts him... then, I..., I'll try too," she said hesitantly, her voice low.
Jelian was pleased because Nandi was finally accepting of meeting others. Little by little, she was getting used to it.
Jelian nodded to Dr. Tetsuya.
"Don't worry, Miss Farouq. Nurse Anna and I will take care of you. Just the two of us. Do you agree?"
Nandi nodded hesitantly to the doctor, who was also pleased. He saw an improvement in his relationship with the patient, which would help him in his work and care.
Half an hour later.
Everyone left the room. Nurse Anna went to her work. Jelian and Aiden followed the doctor into his office. Luzia was waiting outside.
Doctor Haruki Tetsuya's office was elegant and modern. Each of them sat in a chair.
"Well, since we're alone, I'd rather tell you directly," the doctor began formally, with Jelian and Aiden listening intently.
Aiden wasn't sitting normally; he was just like a naughty, arrogant boy, raising his legs over the other, his arm behind the chair.
"The reason for Nandi's frequent bleeding is that the liver organ inside her is affected and injuring itself, as if its cells are bursting. This is aided by the dilatation of the arteries and a massive increase in blood flow".
Jelian and Aiden didn't understand much of what he was saying, but they knew the situation wasn't reassuring.
"So... can she be treated?" Jelian asked anxiously.
The doctor sighed and leaned back. "If it were before the Great Disaster, we could have performed surgery, replaced her liver, and even donated her blood".
"But today, with the radioactive nuclear energy entering our bodies, it's very difficult to treat a human body, especially if it undergoes a transformation or a change in appearance".
Jelian frowned after hearing that. He had come all the way here just to hear that his sister's illness was incurable?
Aiden saw Jelian's expression, and the doctor did too. He continued, "The situation isn't that serious, because we can stop the bleeding if it occurs. All he needs to do is stay away from a nuclear power source".
Jellian raised his eyebrows at this and said, "I just have to do this?"
"Yes, you can think of it like an allergic reaction. If Miss Farouq is exposed to nuclear energy, all of it will enter her liver, and if a large amount is suddenly injected, it will cause the bleeding that occurs".
"So, Jelian, you must take care of your sister. Even if you have to enter places with nuclear energy, which is likely everywhere, you must be careful and deliberate so that her body can withstand it".
A light shone in Jelian's eyes, and she expressed determination. He nodded to the doctor to care for his sister.
Aiden had been sitting the entire time, and after the conversation, he took the initiative to ask the doctor, saying, "So? What do you want from me?"
"Oh yes, as for you, we've recently been running low on blood bags of various types. I've written you a list that even includes the machines we need". The doctor handed Aiden a sheet of paper with a list of items.
Aiden glanced at her and commented, "Dr. Tetsuya, you know it's still early. The trader Doyle won't be here for another month".
"If that's the case, we'll try to manage our situation, that's all".
Jelian and Aiden left the office, while Luzia waited for them, her mind wandering.
"So, what's next?" Jelian's cold expression returned and Aiden asked.
"What's next? Of course, we'll sleep. We've been up all night," he said, leaping up. "Come on, both of you!"
Jelian and Luzia followed him into his car, driving them to a large square with a garden and beautifully landscaped paths. At the end of it stood a blue, architecturally designed building surrounded by glass. It had a very unique design, and it looked like a landmark.
But it was a government building; more specifically, it was the Osiroh City Administration.
Aiden had used it as a base for his missions, but that wasn't his destination.
He went to the building opposite, a luxury hotel about 15 floors up.
Aiden, Jelian, and Luzia entered the hotel, and the hostess at the front desk didn't greet them.
She was sitting in her chair, scrolling through her phone and laughing occasionally.
"Ahem ahem ahem," Aiden coughed to get her attention.
"Hmm? Oh... you honored us with your presence, Aiden!" She stood up and said with a smile and poise. She was beautiful and wore a headscarf.
"Hello, Fatima. How's work for you?"
She sighed heavily and said with a sad expression, "What work? I just sit here all the time. We rarely have anyone new to stay here".
"Ha ha ha, that must have been hard for you".
"Yeah... I'm bored here. Why don't you bring someone to work with me so I'm not alone?"
"Okay, I'll think about it, but now, there are new people living here".
"Really!!! Where are they?" Fatima was delighted by this news.
"Here!" Aiden pointed his finger down.
Fatima couldn't see them, and the table was high, so she poked her head out and could see them fully.
"Aiden, you mean these kids?"
"Yes! These kids will have their new home here, so I'm giving them a suite to stay in".
"Aiden... I know you love helping people, but bringing them here isn't too much? The only people living here are the forces and a few rich people. Do they even have enough points to live here?" She was skeptical and doubtful. This wasn't Aiden's habit, or more accurately, he didn't do things that way.
"Don't worry, they'll be under my supervision. Also, search for Jelian Farouq's name, and you'll see how many points he has".
And indeed, Fatima sat down and began searching the computer in front of her. A minute passed before her expression was filled with shock.
She stood up, her jaw nearly dropping, and exclaimed, "Haaaaah? How does this guy have so many points? Even doctors wouldn't have that many!!!"
She looked at Aiden and said, "Aiden, what's going on? How does he have over 50,000 social points?"
"Ha ha, impressive, isn't it? He was with me on a mission and made the greatest contribution, and as a reward, I'm giving him a full, permanent wing".
Jelian and Luzia looked at Aiden with different looks. Jelian looked at him with a cold, slightly disgusted expression, while Luzia was impressed by the points and saw some admiration in Jelian.
Fatima sat, still in shock, her face completely pale. She did as he ordered, and an entire suite was booked for Jelian Farouq.
Fatima, her face pale, nodded to Aiden and handed him the key.
"Okay, come with me".
Aiden, Jelian, and Luzia walked up to the elevator.
"Your things are still outside, and they'll bring them to you in the suite".
Jelian didn't reply, but Luzia did. "What about my things and clothes?"
Aiden looked at it for a long time, thinking, "...I'll tell Ethan so he can find them and bring them to me".
Luzia happily nodded.
The elevator reached the seventh floor. There was a long corridor from right to left, but they moved forward and stopped at a large, modern, and elegantly designed glass door.
Aiden opened the door and entered the apartment, and both Jelian and Luzia were amazed by what they saw.
This was the most beautiful and luxurious apartment they had ever seen. It was elegant and modern, and even the furniture and appliances were state-of-the-art, adding an aesthetically pleasing architectural touch.
There was a huge 65-inch TV, and underneath it were all kinds of home gaming consoles. There were also kitchen appliances, and it was a modern kitchen.
Jelian and Luzia were deeply impressed by everything.
"This will be your home from now on, for both of you" Aiden said, hanging the key next to the door.
"Both!!!", Jelian and Luzia were shocked and turned to Aiden.
"Hey, you want me to live with her?" Jelian attacked Aiden with his question.
Luzia was shocked by his question.
"Do you think we're hotel managers to give each of you their own suite? That's just a waste. You don't like it here. You can go out and look for an apartment on your own. I bet you'll find one like this".
Aiden responded sarcastically as he left the suite, but before closing the door behind him, he said, "If there's anything you need, don't call me. Call Fatima on this phone hanging here".
Aiden closed the door, leaving Jelian slightly angry. He then snorted.
"Don't worry! I promise I'll do a great job here!" Luzia said eagerly and enthusiastically, her eyes shining with passion.
Jelian looked at Luzia frowning for a while, then sighed and said, "whatever. I'm going to sleep".
"Yes!"
Jelian entered a random room and saw one with a large, spacious bed. The room was very clean and elegant.
Jelian didn't care about anything. He took off his shoes and jumped onto the soft, rubber bed, and because of the tiredness and sleeplessness, it didn't take long and he soon fell into a deep sleep.
-------------------------------------------------
At the same time, from a very distant place.
A group of men sat around a rectangular table, their legs bent like their knees. This wasn't because the table was small, but because their bodies were massive.
Four men sat on six chairs parallel to each other. At one end was a wooden bookcase, in which sat a man in an elegant suit.
The man had a massive physique. It wasn't muscle, but rather a transformation caused by nuclear energy. His neck was so massive and wide that it reached his shoulders. He had a sparse hairline.
His expression was very serious and dark. He did nothing but lean on his hand, tapping the table with his thumb, so much so that it made a small hole in it.
Tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap...!!!
The tapping noises were so loud that they disturbed everyone in the room, even the large men sitting in the chairs, who were sweating and confused, and even the woman standing next to him on his right, and the man on his left.
The woman had blond hair tied back, but her blue eyes were filled with fear and tension from the cracking sounds. Her body was seductively curved, and she wore an elegant black suit. She stood solemnly with trembling hands.
The man was badly injured, to the point that traces of blood and scratches remained untreated. He had a missing arm, and his right eye was also bandaged. He was so confused that he turned his face away.
The situation lasted only a few minutes, but everyone felt as if they had been in years of agony.
Slowly, they heard screams coming from outside the room, slowly approaching them.
"...Calm down, sir. The leader is over there..". He heard this, and a man responded with a loud but incomprehensible voice.
Thaaaaahhhhhh!!!...
A man violently opened the door and shouted in the face of the leader sitting in the office.
"Hey Calvin!!! What did I just hear!!! How did they kill my brother Andrei!!! Tell me!!!" the man shouted loudly and angrily. His face was completely red, and a huge arm could be seen on his left hand.
He ignored his position and spoke with extreme rudeness to the leader. This increased the pressure and tension in the room, and a pang of pain spread across their stomachs.
Then the clicking stopped, and a sudden silence fell.
This confused them, and everyone turned to the leader.
But the voice they heard made their bodies shudder at its depth and harshness.
"Thomas, sit down!"
He had calmed down and sat down calmly, but his expression of resentment and anger was still evident on his face.
Then, Leader Calvin raised his head, sat up straight, and clasped his hands together. He said in a very formal manner, "All of you, I have gathered you today for a very important matter".
With his excellent speaking style, he succeeded in capturing their attention and easing their tension.
"You all know what happened to Andrei, and it wasn't because of his weakness or some powerful monster who killed him, but rather the deliberate and despicable act of a deceitful person!"
"No matter your position, you all work for me, so you are all important to me, and that goes for Andrei; therefore, if you take something important to me, there will be serious consequences!"
He stirred the emotions of the men with him, especially Thomas, and their enthusiasm and respect for the leader grew.
"The man standing next to me here is named Matthew. He was one of Landry's soldiers, and he's the only one who survived and came back alive," Calvin pointed with his left hand.
This angered Thomas, who rose again, stood up, and with his massive left hand, he grabbed the man from two meters away.
"So you dared to come back alive, and you left my brother to die right there!!!" Thomas shouted angrily, squeezing Matthew's neck.
But there, patted on Thomas's arm, was Calvin's hand, and he looked at him seriously, despite his small eyes and the lack of eyebrows.
"Thomas, I won't repeat my word".
Thomas calmed down again, left the man alone, and sat back in his seat.
Calvin continued, "To understand what happened, I'll summarize. Andrei was following my orders to find suitable cities or countries to occupy. He found a city not far from here and sent his men there, but all exploration attempts failed. When he learned that this was the work of a doer and not monsters, he set out with his battalion to attack the city of Coredith, and indeed, a battle took place there".
"At first, there were explosions that killed everyone in the battalion. This man was lucky to survive, but he didn't see the moment Andrei fell at the hands of the blaze, one of the Ten Rankers".
Everyone present was shocked. They believed that Andrei had been killed by one of the Ten Rankers, and this angered Thomas greatly. "The blaze! THE BLAZE!!! I swear I'll cut you alive!!!"
He said in a low voice, but it was audible to everyone. Calvin didn't try to calm him down; instead, he wanted to continue the momentum to excite everyone.
"So, my loyalists, we'll go and kill the arsonist, show him the consequences of his actions, and avenge Andrei!" Calvin slammed the table so hard it created a crater, but it only galvanized the men, who screamed in excitement.
However, their excitement subsided a little when they realized who they were facing. It was a Raditer controller, a human with super ability, and also one of the rankers, the most powerful and dangerous people in the nation of Sunomia.
Calvin noticed this and anticipated it, so he smiled at them and said, "I know what you're thinking, but don't worry, I have a plan".
