Lucian stood there, staring at the now closed door.
At least he was able to confirm his suspicion. That thought made him calm a little. If it was any other maid he was sure the cold prince wouldn't have spared them a glance. And the maid was also interested in the prince.
Lucian was seeing something he could use to his advantage. The prince probably hasn't noticed his almost obsession with the boy. He would try to pay close attention to both of them now. He would use every means possible to get the boy.
Aside from using Kyle for his personal use, he could also use him to rile up the prince. He would use one stone to kill two birds.
Lucian turned on his heels to find his father. The had to plan this together.

Kyle stood in front of the desk of the study, looking at his feet.
Alex walked around him and sat behind the desk. Arms folded, he noticed how Kyle's eyes looked everywhere but him.
"You have a knack for attracting trouble everywhere you go."
Kyle's face turned red again still thinking the prince was talking about him being in trouble for falling asleep. If this continues he might as well be a tomato.
Kyle quickly thought of an excuse.
"I'm sorry for falling asleep your highness. I was trying to meditate on the book." Kyle said with a now solemn face. Making the reply even more absurd.
"I see. And nothing happened during your 'meditation'?" Alex's voice sounded amused.
'Oh my. He.. he knows.'
Alex watched Kyle's face turn different shades of red for the nth time. He found it cute. Controlled by that thought he spoke again
"From now on you become my personal maid. It will keep you close."
Alex frowned a little. That wasn't what he wanted to say. He didn't know why he said things he didn't mean to say with this boy. He quickly covered it up
"Close enough to make sure you don't go around getting in trouble."
Kyle's eyes widened. He mistook the prince's frown for anger thinking the prince put him in the position where he could torture him anytime.
By now Kyle had already known and accepted his position as a maid in this life and he wanted to live if peacefully. He didn't want to be tortured for the rest of his life. This was a calculated plan on the prince's part to monitor him and make sure he doesn't abuse his power and also to punish him for sleeping.
"Your highness—"
The door almost busted open.
