"DXD: Infinite Loot System"Chapter 271: The Princess's Invitation

Morning, Kyoto—

"Haaah…"

Tenra Kamiyo yawned, rubbing at the dull ache behind his eyes as he blinked awake.

Aisha was curled up on his chest, soft and content like a sleepy kitten. To either side, Raynare and Tsubaki Shinra clung to his waist—one arm each, possessive even in sleep.

Last night had been a double-header: first, an all-out brawl with the Hero Faction; then, a much more intimate battle with these three. Aisha was easy—serene, giving, never asking for more than Tenra offered. Raynare and Tsubaki? Complete nightmares.

Raynare, still wound up from the fight, hadn't gotten her fill. The fallen angel's frustration twisted into something wild and desperate, and she'd taken it out on Tenra with a vengeance. Even when she was spent, eyes rolling back, she'd kept going—biting, clawing, refusing to let up. Tenra almost feared her, for real.

And Tsubaki, the shameless pervert, was no better. She'd tasted forbidden fruit, and now she wanted more—taunting about never losing to Yura-senpai, swearing she'd drain her club president dry.

Of course, after Tenra had thoroughly put them both in their place, they'd finally quieted down. Those two thinking they could turn the tables? They were centuries too early.

He woke the three, and after a long, lazy morning spent tangled in sheets, the group finally emerged. The rest of the Kendo Club girls were already waiting, looking more than a little impatient.

"Today's the last day of our school trip—let's get moving!" Tenra called.

"Yes, President!" came the chorus.

For once, the final day went off without a hitch. Tenra led the girls through Kyoto's famous spots, laughter and teasing echoing all the way. They made memories—real ones, unmarred by chaos or supernatural drama.

By evening, when Tenra and his group returned to the inn, they found an unexpected guest waiting.

"You're the fox spirit who guided us last time?" Tenra asked.

"Yes, Red Dragon Emperor. Lady Yasaka has sent me to invite you all once more."

"Princess Yasaka's awake?"

"Thanks to your help, and everyone's, Lady Yasaka has recovered. She's prepared a banquet at the shrine, awaiting you. Lady Valkyrie and Lord Azazel have already arrived. Would you honor us with your presence?"

Tenra nodded, then glanced at Tsubaki and the others. "Anyone want to come along?"

"We'll sit this one out, President. You and Aisha-chan go ahead—just don't stay out too late."

Tempted, but exhausted, the girls shook their heads. They hadn't done much during Yasaka's rescue, and after a full day of sightseeing, they were wiped.

"Alright. Rest up, and don't wander around tonight. We head back to school tomorrow morning."

"Got it…"

After a round of reminders, Tenra, Aisha, and Raynare followed the fox spirit woman into the heart of the Yōkai District.

"Tenra-sama! Aisha-neesan!"

Kunou burst out of the shrine, her smile brighter than the lanterns above, and threw herself into Tenra and Aisha's arms.

She'd been all worry and tension before, her mother's fate weighing heavy. But now, with Yasaka safe, Kunou's innocence shone through—pure joy, unguarded and infectious.

Trailing Kunou, a regal woman emerged, flanked by fox spirits and crow tengu. Yasaka, administrator of Kyoto's yōkai and Kunou's mother.

"I am Yasaka, and I owe you all a great debt. You saved me, and you saved my daughter. I cannot thank you enough."

Graceful, dignified—Yasaka bowed to Tenra and the girls.

"Princess, you're too kind. Kunou's our friend. Helping her was the least we could do."

Tenra ruffled Kunou's beast ears, earning a giggle and a rosy blush. Yasaka shook her head, smiling gently.

"Governor Azazel and Lady Valkyrie are inside. Please, Red Dragon Emperor, come in."

"Of course."

Led by Yasaka, they entered the shrine. Azazel and Rossweisse were already seated, exchanging quick greetings as Tenra's group joined them.

Serafall and Sona's peerage had also played a part in the rescue, but the Maou had duties elsewhere and had already returned to the Underworld. Tsubasa Yura and a few others had their own matters to handle, so they weren't present.

Under Yasaka's hospitality, fox spirit maids served a feast—dishes fragrant and colorful, laughter and talk filling the air. The atmosphere was warm, almost familial.

After dinner, Azazel and Yasaka drifted into a quiet discussion about yōkai-Underworld relations. Tenra and the girls played with Kunou, savoring the peace.

When Azazel finished his business, it was late. The group began to say their goodbyes.

"Red Dragon Emperor," Yasaka said suddenly, "there's something I'd like to discuss with you privately. Would you mind staying a bit longer?"

Tenra caught a flicker in her eyes—a flash of embarrassment, maybe even… shyness?

"Heh… Kid," Azazel said, clapping Tenra on the shoulder, his grin knowing, "looks like you've got business to handle. We'll head back."

With a wink, Azazel opened a teleportation circle and vanished.

"Aisha, Raynare, Rossweisse—you go ahead, too. I'll catch up later."

Tenra watched his companions depart, then followed Yasaka into a room decorated in elegant, feminine style. He couldn't help but wonder—was this the princess's private quarters?

Yasaka dismissed the attendants and sent Kunou off to bed. Soon, the room was silent—just the two of them.

They sat across from each other, the silence stretching, awkward and heavy.

Tenra broke it first. "Um, Princess… what did you want to talk about?"

A blush bloomed across Yasaka's cheeks. She drew a slow breath, steadying herself, then met Tenra's gaze.

"Red Dragon Emperor… you—you've seen my body, haven't you?"
