"DXD: Infinite Loot System"Chapter 284: Venelana's Reward
Steam hung thick in the bathroom, curling around Tenra and Rias as warm water pattered against tile. Rias braced herself against the wall, her cheeks flushed a deep, alluring crimson. Tenra's arms wrapped around her waist from behind, every movement sending fiery shivers through her body. Her scarlet hair whipped and floated in the humid air, and every gasp from her lips echoed with breathless delight.
A voice cut through the haze from outside the door—Yubelluna's, gentle but insistent.
"Lord Tenra, you have a message from the Underworld."
Tenra didn't so much as pause. "Not now. Tell them to wait."
He was in the middle of something far more important than any communication. Even the apocalypse could wait until he was finished.
Yubelluna hesitated, then spoke up again. "Lord Tenra, it's Lady Venelana…"
Tenra stopped mid-motion. Even Sirzechs could be put on hold, but his mother-in-law was a different story.
Rias, mortified, managed to turn her head, voice trembling. "T-Tenra, it's Mother. We should… go out…"
Tenra sighed, resigned. "Alright, let's wrap this up."
He picked up the pace, drawing out a wave of pleasure that left Rias speechless—her words dissolved into incoherent moans and whimpers.
Moments later, the bathroom door opened. Tenra emerged, carrying a limp and thoroughly spent Rias in his arms. He handed her a robe, slipped one on himself, and settled onto the sofa with her curled up against his chest.
"Connect the call," he said to Yubelluna, who was waiting nearby.
Yubelluna's cheeks were tinged pink, but she dutifully tapped her staff. A magic circle shimmered on the floor, and Venelana's projection flickered into view.
"Oh my, no wonder you kept me waiting. Little Tenra, are you bullying my precious Rias again?" Venelana's eyes sparkled with amusement, her tone unmistakably teasing.
"Mother…" Rias buried her face in Tenra's chest, mortified. She managed a feeble bite on Tenra's chest for good measure, but her strength wasn't up to the task—her efforts only made him chuckle.
Tenra cleared his throat, recovering quickly. "Ahem, Lady Venelana. What brings you to contact us at this hour?"
Venelana rarely called without reason, and the timing made it clear: this was important.
She got straight to the point. "I do have a favor to ask, Little Tenra…"
Venelana explained: years ago, back in the Bael family, she'd had a close friend who'd fallen ill and slipped into a coma. Despite every effort, nothing had worked. Recently, the friend's butler reached out, hoping Venelana could find someone with a healing Sacred Gear. Maybe, just maybe, a miracle could wake her.
It wasn't just anyone, either—this friend was Misla, Sairaorg's mother.
Tenra nodded, thoughtful. "I do have healing Sacred Gears, but they're not always effective against illnesses. Physical wounds are easy, but for diseases… even Phoenix Tears or the Smile of the Holy Mother struggle."
Venelana's expression grew complicated. "It's not a simple illness. The situation is… odd. I just want you to take a look. If you can help, wonderful. If not, we'll accept it."
Tenra smiled. "Of course. We'll visit tomorrow."
She'd asked so sincerely, and Tenra had no reason to refuse.
Venelana's eyes gleamed with mischief. "Hehehe… If you can wake Misla, I'll give you a special reward!"
Tenra's lips curled. Special reward? His most precious daughter was already in his arms—what more could Venelana offer?
Venelana raised a finger, her tone conspiratorial. "A very special reward. For example, I could personally teach Rias a few… advanced bedroom techniques. I'm sure Little Tenra would appreciate that."
Tenra couldn't help but be tempted—mother-in-law's personal lessons? That was a rare treat.
Rias shot upright, all embarrassment forgotten, glaring at her mother. "Mother! Stop saying weird things—I'm not learning any of that!"
Venelana just waved, her laughter ringing out. "Do your best, Little Tenra!"
Her projection faded, leaving the room in a bemused silence.
Tenra glanced down at Rias, still blushing furiously. "If I really cure Sairaorg's mother, you'd better study hard."
Rias huffed. "I'm not learning those things!"
She'd been a pure princess once, but ever since Tenra corrupted her, she'd picked up more than enough wicked skills.
Tenra only smiled, holding her close. He stood, lifting Rias in his arms, and headed for the bedroom—he'd rushed things for Venelana's call, but he was far from satisfied.
He paused at the door. "Yubelluna, you too."
Yubelluna's cheeks went crimson. "Yes, Lord Tenra…"
She followed them inside, the door closing softly behind.
