"Lana, you seem to know some kind of gossip? Don't hide it! Let me know!" Mr. Crow asked with curiosity-filled eyes, as the gentle breeze of the evening grazed his feathers.
"Hm... where should I begin? Let's begin with the maid. She was acting all heartbroken and resentful... when in reality it was she who had pushed her own daughter to sleep with a wealthy man just to get enough money to pay off her debts." Lana explained.
"Ohh... but what I couldn't understand... how did her daughter's son die? And why does she seem so resentful if she had used her daughter in the first place?" Mr. Crow's question was valid, and Lana chuckled.
"I saw her past. And realized that she loved her daughter a lot. But her love wasn't enough to see her (the maid) lose her limbs because of some debts. So she pushed her daughter. Who would have thought that her daughter would end up getting pregnant?" Lana looked amused.
