Thessy slowly wiped away her tears and looked toward her father.
"Father, you don't love me anymore."
Her voice trembled slightly.
"After all, your precious biological daughter is connected to me now."
She leaned back against the sofa and laughed softly.
"Trust me. If I truly want to, I can make her wish she were dead. I can make her feel that death itself is a luxury."
The smile on her lips widened.
"So if you continue forcing me, don't blame me for what happens next."
Hearing those words, Melody's face immediately turned pale.
Philip clenched his fists tightly. However, Thompson remained completely unmoved.
His expression did not change in the slightest. "Sure."
His voice was calm. "Go ahead."
The calmness in his tone was more frightening than anger.
"Make your own life miserable if that is what you want."
His gaze became even colder. "You know what? I would personally send you to prison if necessary."
