Then immediately closed it. Lucian looked extremely satisfied.
A few moments later, he continued.
"Everything about you became attractive to me."
His voice was calm. Yet every word carried sincerity.
Lana's heart warmed. However, a mischievous thought suddenly appeared inside her mind. "Oh?"
She narrowed her eyes. "What if someone else had those qualities?"
Lucian paused. Then a smile appeared. "Who knows?"
The smile instantly disappeared from Lana's face. "What?"
Lucian remained silent. Lana narrowed her eyes dangerously.
"So you're saying you would've fallen for someone else?"
Lucian continued smiling. That smile was enough. Lana immediately launched herself at him. "You traitor!"
Lucian barely managed to react before she wrapped her arms around his neck. "You horrible man!"
Lana glared at him. "You've become so bad!"
Lucian looked entirely innocent. Unfortunately, Lana wasn't buying it.
