Slowly, she turned toward Lana. Her gaze had become considerably sharper. "You're not an ordinary person, are you?"
Lana raised an eyebrow. The woman narrowed her eyes.
"You have some kind of influence. You were deliberately trying to get information out of me."
Lana looked at her in confusion. "When did I ever do that? I was simply trying to prove my point."
She closed her notebook and stood up. "You know what? I do not care about this village anymore."
The woman immediately turned toward her. "Now you're trying to run away? Are you scared? Perhaps you are simply a coward."
Lana laughed. "Do you truly think I would be scared of an ordinary woman like you?"
She calmly picked up her bag.
"I originally intended to stay in this village and continue my little survey. However, your behavior has now made me seriously wonder whether there really is something wrong with this village or whether you are simply trying to exaggerate everything to make it sound more frightening."
