Chapter 3 - AllMightH8r Riding the Wave

First things first, he had to create a distribution platform and website, which took very little time to set up. He also adds a business email and the good ol' stuff you need for a competent website and platform. Next, he links his GameGo feature to both his platform and website for whichever one they want to buy from.

His business was legitimate thanks to the system handling the true backend, so he doesn't have to worry about trademarks or copyright issues. Everything is good to go.

This world's version of YouTube is HeroTube, no surprise there, so he created an account.

Singularity Games

That's what he named his business, so naturally it will be the same here as well. Since he is in MHA, this name fits, at least in his mind.

After posting the trailer, his main way of getting attention for his game would be through streamers. Lots of games have blown up and gone viral thanks to them, so no reason not to use what works.

The video would link them to his website, where they could sign up to be a Play-Tester by adding their name and email. Should they be selected, they'll be given a unique key to be able to buy the VR Headset, which he named Singularity Dive, and the game Sea of Thieves.

This was, of course, bullshit considering the game is completely done, but he simply did not have the inventory to meet the demands.

Twitch was still the same as ever, so he looked through various channels and was surprised to see League of Legends existing here. Of course, League would be multiversal.

He saw the most-watched streamer had 20,000 viewers. His name was strange, though.

AllMightH8r

Tuning into the stream seemed to be a mistake and also a blessing, considering the dude was complaining with a raspy voice as if he desperately needed water. No Facecam, so no one could see his face, but Megumi recognized the voice.

Megumi smiled widely, 'This could be perfect.' Having Shigaraki test and play his game would be incredible. He is a main antagonist, so he should give a lot of coins, but he's also connected to All For One, who would be another main antagonist. Just imagine Shigaraki, All For One, and Kurogiri sailing the seas; that would be hilarious. Pirate battles versus All Might and Midoriya?

Unfortunately for Midoriya, there are hardly any streets in this game.

After Megumi finishes his thoughts, Shigaraki is still complaining about the Jungler being a bot. The game creator himself had never really played League, so he didn't really understand, but was entertained nonetheless. Like a Tyler1 of the MHA world…sorta.

Once Shigaraki's game was done, Megumi donated 20,000 Yen, which would be about 128 USD, to make sure he would see it and then click the link.

=[MHAGD]=

Shigaraki Tomura was in a bad mood, which was not unusual when playing League and getting matched with bots. Is it so hard to be a solid player in Master?

He is also irritated that he can't play using all his fingers, or else he'd disintegrate the mouse and keyboard, or else he'd surely be in Challenger by now.

After getting an energy drink, he sat back down in his chair and noticed a pretty big donation. Of course, he'd never needed money thanks to Sensei, but having money he could call his own felt nice but the message in the donation caused him to be confused.

"20,000 Yen coming in from…Singularity Games? If you want a game where you can do what you want and rule over the seas, then play my game. It's an experience this world has never seen. [Link]." Shigaraki read the message aloud to his viewers as his chat exploded.

Various messages of "cap", "sus", and "Click it!" were prevalent in the chat window. Some called it cringy, while others wanted to just see a new game.

Shigaraki has seen a lot of trolling and overall mischief in his chat and community, so he didn't take it too seriously. He made sure the link was safe and saw that it went to HeroTube, and he internally grumbled at the name before clicking it.

The title was Sea of Thieves Trailer - Singularity Games. Simple and obviously a trailer, so he watched it with his chat.

A black screen.

"What does it mean to be a pirate?"

The screen flickers to the blue waves of the sea, but there is something very wrong. This person appears to be bouncing on the water as if it were a trampoline on his back.

This figure had white hair and a ring of clouds around him. He suddenly grinned widely and laughed.

"To be free!" The figure laughed hysterically, and for some reason, this pissed off Shigaraki.

The music kicked off from here, and it wasn't anything this world has ever seen, considering it's the song from One Piece's Opening 26.

A crew with two people was docked at an outpost, conversing with the Gold Hoarders and handing over chests before flickering to another crew handing in skulls at the Order of Souls.

Suddenly, a figure burst through the scene, holding a bizarre fruit, being chased by three pirates. Hoping they'd stop chasing, he ate it while making a disgusted face before his body caught on fire. Naturally, he was the one doing the chasing as they ran.

The next scene was a pirate battle as blades turned black and clashed with one another. Magma and Ice littered the battlefield as cannons were constantly being fired, but they were third-partied by a skeleton fleet.

A wave of lightning enveloped the battlefield, knocking out quite a few combatants while the more elite stayed fighting.

Shifting scenes once again, two different pirate captains were fighting over treasure chests, and their blades turned black again along with lightning, but the blades this time didn't touch, and even the sky split open. A giant battle was happening on the island with one pirate alliance fighting another. A rather young-looking kid in a straw hat managed to sneak off with his chest with his red-nosed companion as they took a peek, excited to see what was inside. It was women's underwear inside with a tag: Shakuyaku.

The red-haired kid went to throw it in the sea before the red-nose guy split his body apart to catch it.

Switching scenes once more to see an overweight male with the power of darkness and a glowing orb in each hand as he jumps high into the air as the glowing orb causes cracks to appear, swallowing up a small island, and the darkness consumes the camera's vision.

The music ended.

We are back with the bouncing figure once again, still laughing.

"Isn't it fun?" One final shot of him before the screen goes dark with a reverberating boinging sound as Sea of Thieves - Singularity Games is plastered front and center.

Playtesters needed was right underneath it.

At the end of the trailer, it explained the game was entirely VR and not just the VR they are accustomed to, but Deep-Dive VR called Singularity Dives. It would cost around 560 USD or 87,000 Yen.

The chat was in an uproar of hype and excitement.

"It's peak!"

"Where's the link?!"

"I wanna be a pirate!"

"If that kid didn't want it, I'll take them!"

"Let's set sail!"

"What kind of quirks were those?"

Everyone wanted one, especially since it didn't cost as much as they thought. A Deep-Dive VR headset was only a fantasy before now, and even if it did exist, it would probably cost thousands of dollars.

Shigaraki was naturally moved as well.

He clicked the link and was redirected to the Singularity Games website, where you can sign up. Switching his stream overlay so his chatters won't see his personal info, he typed everything in.

As he chatted with his viewers, he secretly wondered if Sensei knew something about this. While he wouldn't really care about advancements in tech or anything like that weird doctor. Deep-dive VR sounds pretty advanced.

Refreshing his email just in the hopes he got a key, which he realizes is far too soon, his heart beat wildly in his chest as he got an email from Singularity Games with the subject as Game Key

All he needed to do was buy the game and Singularity Dive with the activation key, as there was a limited supply.

His residence was currently a small apartment in the Kamino Ward, as he knew better than to stream directly from the bar, so he put in the address and paid for both.

Shigaraki was wildly surprised when the payment went through, and the screen on the website said it had already arrived.

Rushing over to the door, he was both excited and alarmed that the package was already there.

'Definitely need to tell sensei about this.' He thought to himself, as the label was a bit different, Singularity Shipping

The chat was wondering what he was doing since he's been silent, but Shigaraki was busy opening up the package.

Looking through the instructions, he realized each Dive was only tied to one person, and his game would be added once he entered the activation key that came with the package when he created an account.

This thing also had 8 hours of battery life, but could always be on if plugged into a wall.

Naturally, he took everything out and placed the device on his head, making sure not to press all five fingers on it.

He was led to create an account with just his mind, which gave reassurance that this was entirely real. Once he had everything set up and the game installed, he realized there was a way to connect this with Twitch and stream the game.

Shigaraki took off the headset and went over to his PC setup.

"Guys, I just got the game and Singularity Dive, so I'm gonna set it up and stream it. Be right back." He announced before shutting off the stream.

Even offline, the chat went crazy. Naturally, no one believed him and thought he was just making an excuse to get off.

Shigaraki, on the other hand, was setting up the stream, and once he was done, he opened the stream, and everything he could see, the viewers could.

"Wait, was he serious?"

"Ain't no way."

"Are we for real?"

He looked at the Singularity Games box it came in, and everyone was convinced and even accused Shigaraki of having insider access. Naturally, he told them to cry about it.

Shigaraki laid down and loaded up Sea of Thieves, and his vision blackened as if he fell asleep.

Next thing he knew, he was standing at some kind of dock and instinctively grabbed at his shirt to feel, but he was incredibly surprised that his quirk did not activate.

He didn't know how to feel about that as he suddenly got weird flashes of a house and people he didn't even know.

Brushing that off, he speaks with the chat.

"I really am in the game." He spoke aloud, testing his movement.

"This is insane." Multiple chatters shared the same mindset as he looked at the various options at the dock.

"Grand Line Seas are locked until Level 50 in One Trading Company? What's a Trading Company?" He thought aloud and then saw a Tutorial signpost. "Should I do the tutorial, chat?"

"Yes!" Was the general consensus, apart from a few trolls who just wanted to see what a tutorial would be like with this new tech.

Shigaraki normally wouldn't want to do tutorials and would rather figure it out on his own, but this time, he was really curious.

He pressed on the sign and his vision blackened once more with a prompt warning.

Slowly waking, he found himself on some sand, and he saw a ship in the distance.

As he came to and slowly stood up to observe his surroundings, a ghostly figure appeared before him.

Above him was his name.

The Pirate Lord
