Chapter 69
SASUKE UCHIHA
Sasuke Uchiha had not planned on coming after the Snake Sanin, but as he was rushing towards the location of the masked nin he had sensed Hinata's chakra. She was a dear friend, and once he had expanded his senses he had felt the Snake Sanin's sinister presence.
The man was inconsequential to him, but he could not forgive him for the desecration he had carried out against his clan. He could not forgive him for the vile acts he had commited against the Uchiha clan, and so he had stopped and turned in his direction.
And it was a blessing that he had for if he was delayed by a minute or so, he could have lost a good friend and a comrade.
Still, years ago the Snake Sanin had been a great challenge to him. He had felt like an indominable monster, and yet now with his newfound powers Sasuke felt as if he could take on the entire world.
He held up his severed head, and yet despite his condition the man was resilient as he clung to life even without a body to sustain himself.
"Marvellous," he gasped as he looked into Sasuke's eyes, as he pushed chakra into them and used his brother's powers, as blood dripped down his cheek.
"Tsukuyomi..." and those eyes shifted, as the genjutsu robbed him of all his will.
"Release the jutsu," he ordered, as drool dripped out of that face.
"K..Kai," and with that done he threw the head back into the cave, and it rolled to the ground with a thud as he turned towards Hinata and Shikamaru.
"The Edo Tensei is released," he told them, and the Nara boy sighed.
"That is good. This will remove the Hokages and that trump card from the equation," Shikamaru added, and yet the masked nin would remain.
"I am heading towards the battlefield. You two should rest," he said, and they were in no condition to fight anymore, and with that he walked out of the cave and the Snake Sanin's layer was surrounded by prisons, and he had somehow tripped away the gates while rushing towards him.
He had simply blitzed to the cave, leaving them all behind but now he would have to face them, yet as he stepped out of the cave he was greeted by bodies littered everywhere, and he turned towards the blue skinned Kiri nin.
"Did you do this?" and he had Anko-san slung over his sword.
"I am not charitable," he answered, and Sasuke frowned as he stepped forward, before suddenly a figure jumped out of the pile of bodies and landed infront of him, and he smirked as he quickly recognised that orange jumpsuit and yellow hair.
"Took you long enough, duck face..." and he smiled as Naruto landed in front of him.
"I had to clean up your mess all on my own...."

THE THIRD TSUCHIKAGE—OHNOKI
There was only one time where Ohnoki had felt himself completely helpless. One time in his life of over fifty years, and the memory of that day still remained vivid in his mind.
He was at a temple with his sensei, Lord Mu. He was young then, young and naive and the Warring States Era had just come to a close, and Iwagakure was close to forming an alliance with the Konoha.
Peace was on the horizon, but then he had appeared. One man. He had single handedly destroyed years of work, and in that moment he had understood helplessness. He had rejoiced when word had come of his death, yet now decades later the same monster had returned.
The Devil of the Uchiha clan was back, and he was more powerful than ever. But Ohnoki had been young then. He had been only Ohnoki then, but now he was the Tsucikage. He carried the same title as his sense, and carried the will of stone on his heart.
He would not falter now. He would resist, and so as the forest pushed down on them, Ohnoki pushed himself up, and he was not the only one.
"It seems like you have the same idea as me, Tsuchikage-sama," and he saw, the young Hokage pushing up the forest with his back, as he pushed himself up.
"Huh, I can't quite let younglings like you make a fool out of me just yet," and as the weight on his back lowered, he turned around, and clapped his hands together.
"Jinton: Atomic Dismantling Jutsu!" and he cut through the forest pushing them down, as the Hokage, and the Raikage pushed it up, and tore through the confines of the prison created by Madara's Wood Style.
BOOOOM!
"Katon: Majestic Destroyer Flame!" the Mizukage was the first to attack, and the Kazekage followed after her, as she unfurled her fan.
"Futon: Grand Blizzard!" and a the storm of wind only amplified the Mizukage's flames, but the Ghost of the Uchiha remained unmoved as he stood there atop the hill without moving.
"Katon:..." and he heard him whisper, and the attack coming towards him, was large enough to swallow up an entire island, and yet he was unmoved.
"...Majestic Destroyer Flame!" and Ohnoki could only gulp nervously, as fire burst out his mouth, and clashed against the combined might of the Mizukage and Kazekage.
BOOOOM!
Yet he was still, not ready to give out just yet.
"NOW!" he roared, and suddenly the ground underneath, his feet was lifted up and thrown into the air.
"DON'T YOU DARE UNDERESTIMATE US! YOU OLD RELIC!" the Raikage Roared, as Madara Uchiha rose into the air, and Ohnoki grinned as he saw their plan coming together.
"Ninpo:..." and the Hokage was right there above him, as he bit his Hand.
"GRAND SUMMONING JUTSU!"
POOOOF! POOOF! POOOOF!
And three large toads were summoned around him, each wielding a different weapon, and immediately attacked Madara from three sides.
"AGHHHHH!"
And as he had expected, a blue skeletal figure emerged around him, and began shielding him from the attacks, yet the combined might of the Hokage's summons was able to crack the Susanoo, as Ohnoki smirked.
"Pests," he heard him whisper and the Susanoo began to shift, as layers began to form over the bluish monstrosity.
"Go away!"
"AGHHHH!" and the figure roared, as it pushed away the three summons with a single swing of its arms, when suddenly Ay's hands burst through the ground under his feet and grabbed him by the ankles.
"I am not done with you, yet," and with that he pulled him down, and threw him straight towards him, as Ohnoki slapped his hands together as he pouted all of his chakra into the attack.
"Jinton: Atomic Dismantling Jutsu!" and the brilliant white orb rushed forth, and he saw him raise his hand, to absorb the attack.
"Have you all lost your senses. Ninjutsu is useless against me," he roared forth, and Ohnoki smirked.
"We remember that well enough," and then in the blink of an eye, the Hokage appeared above him, and in his hands was a giant blue orb of concentrated chakra. It was a modification of the technique used by the yellow devil who had brought Iwa to its knees.
"Senpo:..." the Hokage roared as he struck him with his technique.
"...OODAMA RASENGAN!"
BOOOOOM!
And in the blink of an eye, Madara uchiha's body was flung towards the ground as a loud explosion pushed him back. Ohnoki shielded his eyes, as the large orb of chakra exploded infront of him, and the Hokage landed beside him.
"Huuuh. Huuuh," and he was out of Sage chakra once more, and he had pushed nearly all of his chakra into the technique.
"Mizukage, Kazekage. Seal him now," and the Mizukage nodded as she stepped forward.
"Yoton: Grand Prison!" and she spewed out a torrent of boiling lava at the crater, while the Kazkegae stepped forward.
"Futon: Grand Blizzard!" and as she flooded the crater with burning lava, the Kazekage's jutsu froze it in place, as the dust cloud vanished to reveal, a sealed up land.
"Hokage!" and the man nodded as he placed his hands on the ground.
"Fuinjutsu..." and just as his hands touched the ground, Ohnoki heard the ground splinter, as his head snapped back as he saw a pair of hands grab the Hokage's fists, as a chill ran down his spine, as Madara Uchiha jumped out of the ground, as he pulled down the Hokage who had no time to react.
"LET GO OF HIM!" the Raikage was quick to react, but suddenly Ohnoki felt a wave of chakra rush off of him.
"ALMIGHTY PUSH!"
"AGHHHH!" and they were all send tumbling back, and Ohnoki's back hit a rock as he fell to the ground and the world turned dizzy. Still, he refused to fall onto his knees as he bit him cheek and steadied himself.
"I am not done yet," and as the world began to clear up, he saw Madara standing there in the centre as all of them pushed themselves back to their feet. Well, all of them except for the Hokage.
"No," he gasped at the sight of the man, and he was alive still, yet he lay there in a puddle of his own blood, while both his arms were still in Madara's hands.
"What is this chakra I sense," and suddenly the air shifted, as he saw Madara frown, before the frown shifted into a smile.
"It really is him," and then he began to laugh.
"I never thought I would ever get the opportunity," and he was laughing like a madman, as the Hokage lay there clinging to life.
"Finally some proper entertainment," he whispered, and Ohnoki did not know what he was talking.
"But first," and then his eyes turned towards him, and in a second Ohnoki felt himself getting pushed back into the stone as Madara appeared infront of him.
"I will need to make sure that all of interruptions are taken care of," and then he swung the severed arm at his face, as Ohnoki was sent tumbling through the air.
"LATERAL BOLT OF PAIN!" and his back hit a tree, and he felt the bones crack as he screamed atop of his lung.
"AGHHHH!" his vision blurred up, yet he spotted the raikage appearing behind him, yet somehow he stopped mid attack, as Madara Uchiha turned and in a swift motion plunged his hand into his torse.
"AGHHH!" the Raikage's armor was pierced like it was nothing, and blood flooded out of the man's face, yet he refused to back down.
"HELL'S PUNCH!" and he still tried to punch him, but Madara's eyes spun once more.
"All Mighty Push," and much like him the man was sent flying away, as the Kazekage roared.
"Raikage!" and she unfurled her fan, and jumped into the air.
"FUTON: WIND SCYTHE JUTSU!" and the air was ripped apart by her technique, as it cut through the stones and the trees, and yet it for Madara all he received was a single cut on his cheek, as he wiped away the blood with his fist.
"All this for a papercut," he whispered, and then he cycled through a series of handseals.
"Doton: Earth Spikes!" and the Earth rose at his command, and she tried to avoid them but the sharp spikes tore through her skin, as the Kazekage was skwered infront of his eyes.
"Noo," Ohnoki gasped as he pushed himself forward, and he was out of both strength and chakra yet he knew that they could not give up. That he could not give up.
"AGHHHH!" the Kazekage's screams filled the air, and he tried to mold what little chakra he could, as he saw the Mizukage appear from under the ground.
"FUTTON!" and she grabbed the Uchiha legend's ankles, as he raised a brow.
"If we can't defeat you, then I will simply take you out using my own life," and she roared forth, as a thick corrosive mist filled the air.
"...ACIDID SKIN!" and he saw her skin begin to peel away, yet in a blink of an eye a Susanoo appeared behind him and plunged a blade into the ground.
BANG!
And the Mizukage's screams tore through the air, as she was pulled out of the ground, and throw away like cattle.
"JINTON:..." he eeked out, and what formed in his hands was a mere droplet and as those eyes turned towards him, he felt his breath still as Madara Uchiha raised his hand.
"You are still alive..." and then he felt his chakra, Ohnoki's heart gave out as the particle style technique vanished from in between his hands, as he fell to the ground as a white shimmering light covered Madara's form.
"GUGHHH!" blood came rushing out of his mouth, as Ohnoki struggled to look up and saw Madara's body begin to unravel.
"What is this?" he gasped, and wondered if this was a genjutsu at all.
"The Edo Tensei," and it was the Hokage who answered, and he was pale now from blood loss, and was clinging to life as he whispered with a broken smile.
"It has been undone," and the words took a second to register, and as the implication of those words landed Ohnoki smiled as he saw that body unfurl.
"We won," he whispered, as Madara smirked as he met his eyes.
"Not yet," and then the man slapped his hands together.
"Gedo no Jutsu..." and he stilled at those words.
"..RINNE REBIRTH!"
