Chapter 1 - (“Awakening of the Alpha”)

In the bustling city of Busan (부산), where neon lights painted the night sky and the ocean breeze carried whispers of endless possibilities, a young couple lived a life most envied. Married for only two years, their home soon echoed with the laughter of a baby boy—a son they believed would complete their world.

But destiny had chosen differently.

As the child grew, strange events disturbed their picture-perfect life. Objects shattered in sudden bursts of anger. Sparks of raw electricity leapt from his fingertips. By the age of six, his powers manifested fully—wild, uncontrollable, and impossible to ignore.

Doctors were consulted. Endless tests were done. The results were always the same:

"Your son is healthy… but there is something within him. A rare energy we cannot measure. Cases like this are classified—recorded only in government archives."

The truth struck like thunder. Their son was not ordinary—he was an Alpha.

The Alpha's Curse and Gift

Alphas were more than humans. Born with heightened strength, elemental affinity, and an aura that could bend the will of others, they carried both glory and fear. But in history, Alphas had been hunted, caged, and studied—seen not as people, but as weapons. Some could shatter walls with a touch, others could manipulate fire, ice, or lightning. A perfect Alpha was said to wield a force capable of both destruction and salvation.

Yet society whispered a single truth: where Alphas walked, chaos followed.

Fearing for their son's future, his parents hid him away. When his powers erupted, he was locked inside his room until the storm passed. No explanations, no guidance—only silence and restraint. Slowly, the boy learned to bury his emotions, to suppress the fire inside. Loneliness became his closest companion.

That boy was Kang Seo-joon.

By twenty-two, he was no longer the fragile child who once cried behind locked doors. With his sharp mind, Seo-joon inherited his late father's company, GreenWave AgroTech, and transformed it into a powerhouse. His strategies outpaced competitors, his aura commanded respect, and though his employees admired him, none knew the truth: their enigmatic CEO was an Alpha hiding in plain sight.

The Omega's Light

But fate never leaves a flame unattended.

As GreenWave expanded, Seo-joon found himself overwhelmed by the demands of leadership. He needed an assistant—someone capable of keeping pace with him. Dozens applied, but only one truly stood out.

Jung Woo-bin.

His attire was modest, yet his confidence filled the room. Orphaned young, Woo-bin had grown up in a care facility where his true nature had been recognized early. He was an Omega—rare, intuitive, and blessed with a different kind of power.

Unlike Alphas, Omegas were not destructive by nature. Their abilities were subtler but no less formidable. An Omega could sense emotions with uncanny accuracy, soothe the most violent rage, and emit a pheromonal aura capable of bending even an Alpha's instincts. A perfect Omega, legends said, could steady an Alpha's storm—calm the fire no one else could touch.

Woo-bin had trained himself from childhood to master his instincts, suppressing his scent until it was nearly unnoticeable. But when he spoke—articulate, persuasive, and brilliant with strategies—the entire panel listened. And when his plans for GreenWave's growth were unveiled, the decision was immediate.

Seo-joon hired him on the spot.

Yet the moment Woo-bin entered his office , something unexpected stirred.

Seo-joon caught his scent. Subtle, delicate, yet intoxicating. For the first time in his life, the Alpha within him responded—not with violence, not with chaos, but with a pull so deep it unsettled his cold, disciplined heart.

His chest tightened. His pulse raced. He didn't understand why.

And so, without either of them realizing, the bond between a hidden Alpha and a perfect Omega began to weave itself—an unspoken connection that would change both their fates.
