It didn't take long for us to find a suitable location for the survivors to stay, which was the super mall.
Normally this was a bad idea since the mall is a place filled with people, so it's no surprise that there's a lot of zombies around, but compared to any other human being in this world, we are superhuman.
So it took hours to clear everything inside this massive super mall, considering there's thousands of zombies inside it's pretty much a lighting speed.
A mere few hours to clear thousands of zombies is inhuman speed, and this was without guns of some sort.
By the end of the cleaning, the bat I borrowed was unrecognizable beyond belief, it was filled with dents and blood.
In the end I have to let go, it was a good baseball bat, rest in peace my friend even though I only used it for a few hours it grew in me.
And so, I took another metal bat I saw in the super mall while I'm cleaning. It's made out of stronger materials and ridiculously expensive for a bat.
It's more expensive than Elon Musk's Tesla car, either way its handle is more comfortable than my former bat.
As expected, the more expensive it is the better the quality of the item, at least in most cases.
Now that it's safe to live in, it's time to call the survivors.
On the way here, alongside with the newly rescued mother and daughter, we met some survivors on the way.
It took a while to convince them, but after we did they followed our lead and now, there's dozens of them.
After getting inside, the majority of the survivors we rescued were cautiously looking around for danger, mostly the adults.
Good, which means they're not stupid. But then again, their survival instinct must have awakened during these hard times.
If not, they would have died like everybody else.
In this round, there's two types of survivors. They're either people with strong survival instincts or lucky people who survived through dumb luck.
Looking through the survivors we saved, I don't think anyone survived through doubt, considering the look of hardened determination and haunted horror was visible in their faces.
"You know, I'm starting to think that this isn't worth the trouble." Agnes said as she looked at me.
"How heartless of you." I replied with a smile, I know for a fact that she's joking.
Agnes then proceeded to talk to the children despite her earlier claim that it's not worth the trouble.
Then suddenly one of the survivors, a huge man, almost 2 meters in height with a hulking body, for a Japanese person this is very unusual.
Despite being bigger than me, he spoke respectfully. "Sir, if it's not a bother why did you choose this location for us to stay? No offense but, with so many doorways it would be easy for the others to get inside."
I'm very much aware of this issue, I could have chosen a place more secure and fortified.
But despite that, I still choose this place. Why? Because it's filled with resources, so what if it's a location filled with blind spots?
Agnes and I could take care of that gap, but resources are hard to find especially at times like this, so a mall is nothing sort of a treasure trove for all.
It has everything, but the downsides are quite obvious: too many zombies which would be normally unrealistic to live on despite being a place filled with almost everything.
But our very presence changes that, the downside is practically nonexistent with superhumans around.
"Don't worry about it, we'll clear every zombie around the mall so that no one would be able to get inside." A bold claim, if it was anyone else the hulking man would have thought of them as delusional or worse lunatic.
But he saw our capabilities, it was something unbelievable, our strength, speed and endurance is simply out of this world.
To him and any survivors who saw our power basically treats us like deity, after all why else would we bother saving them in their desperate times.
That's why despite how small I am compared to this bear of man.
I have his trust and respect.
"I understand, sir." He nodded at my word and didn't ask anything else.
"And by the way, you should tell the others to place a barracks around the mall while we clear the place." After that I left, whether he would follow my words or not, it's his choice because in the end we aren't going to be here forever, and it's up to them whether they want to survive or not.
As of right now, we are doing the heavy work so that they could create a solid foundation for the rest of the survivors who have yet to come in this place.
Once we are gone, hopefully they are ready. If not, they could only blame themselves.

It's been a couple of days since we appeared in this world, but so far we still haven't seen a glimpse of the anomaly.
We searched city wide, but the alarm for detecting anomalies was still unresponsive, but despite the lack of our target, we managed to gather several hundreds of survivors which is surprising.
I didn't realize that there were still a lot of survivors around the city and here I thought it would be less than a hundred.
Either way, the former super mall is now completely fortified despite only a few days having passed.
Turns out the big guy I asked was pretty competent, and has the markings of a great leader, if it weren't for him this kind of change wouldn't have happened this fast.
Not to mention, he was clever enough to divide those who wanted to sabotage the entire operation, mainly because of their greed and selfishness.
Guy is ruthless, he doesn't hesitate to act if it's a threat to the greater good. He knows very well that if this fails the consequences would be extremely dire.
To create a sanctuary for the rest of the survivors, he has to be decisive and root out the problems before it could escalate.
I was honestly admiring this guy's work, if I was in the same position I doubt I'd be able to acquire the same result.
This was talent.
Without a doubt as long as this person is in charge this place would soon become a sanctuary for humanity.

"You sure, this detector works?" I have started doubting the authenticity of this detector.
Agnes stared at me with her eerie eyes, and said. "Yes, it works."
She answered swiftly and precise, with no room for rebuttal.
Well, I have no choice but to believe in her, after all she's the veteran while I'm the newbie.
Then we arrived at a rather empty district, a typical middle class neighborhood in Japan.
There are barely any zombies around, which is a bit weird as usual. Even an empty district like this should have at least a dozen walking dead littering around the streets.
But there was none, it was as if someone exterminated the zombies in this district.
"Huh, whoever they are sure is precise with their clearing." I looked around and saw corpses that were shot multiple times by some sort of rifle.
And another thing, this was supposed to be Japan, the only gun that you'll be able to get is a pistol and anything other than that is illegal.
Unless of course you're part of the military, so finding a gun that isn't a pistol in this neighborhood is particularly nonexistent.
While thinking, suddenly my phone that was silent since our arrival in this world suddenly made a sound.
The same happened to Agnes, then we looked at each and realized that our target is now within a hundred meters from us.
"We found the target." Agnes' expression became more unsettling as a wide smile appeared on it.
After that we moved around the neighborhood, to seek our target and eventually we found a group of people.
Most of them are teenagers and strangely there's a single male in a group filled with women.
It was suspicious, but then I recognized these girls, as I got a closer look.
Despite transitioning 2D to 3D, some of their features remained the same and very familiar.
A girl with purple hair with a katana, Saeko Busujima.
A teenager with pink hair, Saya Takagi.
The only adult in the group, who has long blonde hair, is Shizuka Marikawa.
Brown hair with a big pair of breasts, one of the main protagonists of the show, Rei Miyamoto.
And a teenage male, who looks ugly despite the beatification fillers of an anime world, even Kohta, that fat gun geek was more good looking than this guy.
More strange is that this guy has multiple guns in him, not just a pistol but AK47, a Desert Eagle, Scar-L and an AWP.
Neither of those guns are light, it should be impossible for his weight class to carry those kinds of weaponry.
It was obvious at this point that this guy is the anomaly, our target.
Seeing the missing male protagonist, he probably got rid of him, same with Kohta.
This was a typical behavior of a low-life transmigrator with a system, he wanted a harem and somehow he achieved it partially.
But looks like his 'harem' isn't happy, it was clear from the looks of despair and disgust was common amongst the girls in the group. It's easy to see that he forced them and none truly liked him, but having no choice due to threats and survival.
I pointed at the sole male of the group, and said. "It's that guy, there's no doubt he's the anomaly."
Agnes wasn't stupid, and knew that it was this person that they've been looking for the past few days.
As a veteran of the group, she became aware of the typical behavior of these anomalies and most of the time, they create a party containing only women except for themselves.
At least the most common ones and their type was easiest to eliminate, as most of the time they're stupid and incapable of thinking through things and letting their dicks decide instead.
They might be powerful, but they lack the wisdom or intellect to properly utilize these advantages that they were given.
And so, the hunt for this anomaly begins.
