Chapter 116 - 110: The Death of Tianqi and the Founding of a Nation

Raven and the other two were ultimately no match for Magneto; his magnetic force field isolated the inside from the outside, preventing Raven from teleporting in.

Magneto's potential had been stimulated by Apocalypse, and at this point, his strength was almost at the pinnacle of a Level 4 Mutant.

Even with Raven and the two others, and later the weakened Mutant team, he easily suppressed them with just a fraction of his power.

Seeing that Apocalypse seemed to be in danger, he decisively intervened to rescue him, manipulating a massive river of metal that flew out from underground, carrying unimaginable power as it surged forward.

"Ron, you cannot kill him."

Magneto roared urgently; he only cared about the future of Mutants, not Apocalypse's life.

But if Apocalypse died, the power that unlocked his potential would dissipate, he would lose most of his current abilities, and lose control over Earth's magnetic field.

Then the planned future for Mutants would never arrive.

Crack! Crack! Crack!

"There is no one I cannot kill."

In a flash of lightning, Ron sensed his attack, his face expressionless, not even looking; with a thought, lightning containing terrifying power struck down from the dark clouds overhead.

The metallic torrent was struck down by the lightning.

At the same time, he hurled the lightning spear in his hand.

A golden-yellow bolt of lightning tore through the sky, covering the vast distance in an instant.

"Ah..."

Excruciating pain swept through Apocalypse's entire body as his chest was once again pierced and impaled by the lightning.

Powerful divine energy raged and annihilated.

He screamed in agony, electricity sparking from his mouth and eyes; centered on his chest, his body disintegrated, every inch of flesh and blood, every molecule forming his body was annihilated, vanishing from the World.

"No, I will not die."

He pushed his self-healing ability to the extreme, but it was useless; he tried to grip the lightning spear that pierced his body and pull it out, but the electric current emitted by the spear turned his hand into charcoal.

"Ron!"

Finally, Apocalypse's expression was filled with horror and pain, he looked at Ron with unwillingness, shouting his name, as his entire being was annihilated and erased from the World, leaving not even a speck of ash.

He vanished completely.

He had awakened from thousands of years of slumber, intending to rule Earth again, but he never imagined he would be killed by a younger Mutant.

Apocalypse died.

"It's over..."

Magneto's eyes showed despair; he looked at his hands, his power was fading, and he quickly lost control over Earth's magnetic field.

He quickly summoned an iron door, just to keep himself and Professor X from falling to the ground.

Looking up at Ron, his expression agitated, he exclaimed, "Ron, I was so close to succeeding, why did you stop me?"

"All the metal deep underground was pulled out; the continental plates would collapse and crack."

Ron glanced at him.

"Billions would die in it, and how many Mutants would there be among them?"

Once Apocalypse died, Magneto's power would weaken; during Apocalypse's time, he could still control Earth's magnetic field, possessing the ability to destroy the World.

But by the time the Dark Phoenix erupted, he could at most just crush train carriages.

"Sacrifice is inevitable in the creation of a great era."

Magneto shouted at him unwillingly; he had destroyed the future of Mutants.

If Apocalypse's plan had succeeded, humanity's civilization, starting from the Bronze Age, would have been completely destroyed, technology would have regressed, and Mutants would have become superior beings in the new era, thanks to their unique abilities.

His face immediately turned ugly, tinged with a hint of defeat, and he gritted his teeth.

"Now... saying all this is meaningless."

"Eric, I never thought you would become like this."

Freed from Apocalypse's control, Professor X fell onto the iron door, regaining consciousness; he looked at Eric with a complex expression.

Previously, Eric only viewed humans as enemies; now, he was willing to kill billions of people without batting an eye.

"Mutants don't need billions of people to die or for the era to regress to achieve an enviable status."

Raven flew up with a sharp aura, coming to Ron's side, and said to Magneto.

Everything they did was for this very purpose.

"Ron and I will prove it to you."

Ron said nothing.

The current Magneto was undoubtedly more radical than before; originally, he had agreed with Apocalypse to destroy the World due to the tragedy of his wife and daughter being killed by humans.

But later, he was easily persuaded by Professor X to return to the right path.

Now, even seeing Apocalypse die, he was unwilling to give up this idea.

However, his thoughts were not important.

With the matter concluded, he looked towards the distant sky.

The dark clouds dispersed, and sunlight cast a golden glow.

"It stopped, the earthquake stopped."

At the same time, people around the World who had feared the end of the World had arrived, suddenly found that everything had stopped.

The floating metal rivers in the sky fell, and although they made a terrifying sound that made the Earth tremble, they were overjoyed and disbelieving.

"Can we... can we still live?"

"That's great, humanity still has hope."

Governments worldwide also breathed a huge sigh of relief; the predicted continental plate fragmentation and global Apocalypse by their departments had finally not occurred.

But then they began to investigate what exactly had happened.

Why did the personnel responsible for launching nuclear missiles launch them as if possessed, and why did Earth's magnetic field undergo such drastic changes?

Not long after, they got their answer.

Just over ten days after the global post-disaster reconstruction.

...

"Hello, people of the World..."

Suddenly one morning, under the effect of the Cerebro, Professor X's voice resonated in the minds of billions of people worldwide.

In a gentle tone, he explained the events concerning Apocalypse and Magneto, and then announced something that caused a huge uproar globally.

"From today onwards, Mutants, under the leadership of King Ron, will establish their own nation, named Klakoo."

Klakoo was a nation previously established by Mutants in the comics, and Ron adopted this name.

The nation's site was chosen on a large, lush, uninhabited island in the Pacific Ocean.

With the power of Umbrella Industries, a small city had already been secretly and preliminarily established, fully equipped with various facilities and functions, and was continuously expanding outward at an astonishing speed.

"Every Mutant on Earth, whether born in the past or in the future, will automatically acquire citizenship of the Kingdom of Klakoo and possess dual nationality.

In the nation of Mutants, there will be no discrimination, no disease; it will become a paradise for Mutants, a utopia of the new century."

After the battle with Apocalypse, when Raven told Professor X and Magneto about Ron's preparations and ideas for establishing a Mutant nation, Professor X and Magneto were immediately somewhat surprised and had not anticipated it.

Only then did they realize how far-reaching Ron's actions and plans had been over the past two years.

His vision was many times grander than what the two of them had done before—one opening a school, the other orchestrating terrorist attacks—as he was actually planning to establish a nation belonging to Mutants themselves.

"Ron, I want to join your plan, contribute my strength, and join this nation you speak of."

After hearing his plan, Professor X's face flushed with excitement as he expressed to Ron that this was a cause he could not refuse, the true future welfare of Mutants.

He had only thought of establishing a school to shelter Mutant children abandoned by their parents, while Ron intended to shelter all Mutants on Earth, giving all Mutants a permanent home.

"Ron, if you don't mind, I also want to join..."

Magneto, whose face was grim, looked stunned for a moment, then somewhat surprised and enlightened; Ron's idea showed him the door to a new World, as if a blind spot in his thinking had suddenly been illuminated.

Why had he always thought of destruction before, and never about founding a nation?

Although Magneto was cold and ruthless, capable of orchestrating terrorist attacks without batting an eye, if it could make the Mutant race better, he was willing to do anything.

With an apologetic, sincere, and even humble request, he asked Ron to join the nation he was establishing.

Magneto could not imagine what it would be like if Ron's nation were established one day, and he was excluded from the Mutant community.

...

The initial establishment and appearance of the Mutant nation of Klakoo shocked the globe, and the entire World paid close attention.

Some countries and people were fearful, some were angry, some mocked and were not optimistic...

"The World was almost destroyed, and it was done by a Mutant, and he isn't even the strongest person in the Mutant community.

If all Mutants gather under the command of Ron, now called the strongest Mutant and King of Mutants, who in the World could stop them if they decided to do something?"

"The World was almost destroyed, how many people died in the disaster, the whole World is mourning, struggling to rebuild their homes.

And the culprits, the Mutants, are gleefully announcing their intention to establish a nation.

They are all cold-blooded monsters that should be eliminated!"

"A racial nation belonging to Mutants, attempting to become a paradise for all Mutants globally?

That's a nice thought, but some of the details are like a joke.

Do they think it's playtime? Saying Mutants can have dual nationality just because they say so; some countries don't recognize dual nationality.

Moreover, it's not that easy for a nation to operate healthily and long-term in the World."

"A nation that primarily focuses on race, or even species, actively separates itself and all other human nations in the World into different teams.

No modern nation can survive as an isolated island.

Even the strongest nations need trade cooperation and diplomatic relations with other countries.

This nation will either regress into a modern ancient state, or it will eventually disintegrate and collapse."
