"Ron, after Charles announced the news of our nation's founding, considering the statements of spokespersons from various countries during interviews and global public opinion…," Raven, dressed in an elegant white ladies' suit, slowly walked behind him, embraced him, and, with her face pressed against his firm back, softly said.
"They don't favor us; one could say they are very unfriendly, even hostile."
From managing a company to managing a nation, the latter is far more exhausting.
"There's no need to pay them any mind; they will witness Klakoo's power," Ron said with a light chuckle, standing by the French window and gazing at the rapidly expanding nation and city in the distance.
Founding a nation was never the problem. If it were solely for the sake of founding a nation, he could have easily gone to Africa two years earlier in this World's timeline, seized power in a small country, and transformed it into a Mutant nation.
However, the series of problems that would arise after the Mutant nation was founded were the real issues.
Now, he has made all preparations, and the upcoming period is the time to harvest ability points.
"Indeed," she nodded gently, agreeing with Ron's idea.
"Two years of preparation, Umbrella has developed rapidly, covering various industries, and now possesses the foundation and technology to operate a nation independently."
Even without trading with any other nation, they could ensure they lacked nothing industrially.
"Raven, you've worked hard during this time," Ron said softly, turning around.
He was merely a hands-off boss, providing the general plan, while everything else was established by Raven with Emma's help.
"The technologies and data you brought back are actually the truly important things," Raven said, looking up at him with a gentle smile and admiration.
It was hard to imagine those technologies, which seemed straight out of science fiction.
Hovering airships, space shuttles, holographic projections, miniature fusion reactors, and Sky Defense… all were technologies almost a century ahead of Earth.
Whether in terms of military or energy, Klakoo could stand on par with any major nation on Earth.
"Especially in terms of energy, miniature reactor technology can provide almost endless clean energy; it will transform our nation into a carefree paradise."
All human societal activities are inseparable from energy; one could say energy is everything. Possessing endless clean energy means possessing everything, practically eliminating any worries.
Raven looked at the man before her with a hint of adoration.
"Ron, the New Era you once spoke to me about might be right before us."
The plans were all made by Ron; without these technologies, Earth would at most have one more new nation, but now she saw a New Era beckoning to her.
A New Era even better than the Mutant New Era she had imagined.
"And it was created by you and me, together."
"How are things with the citizens?"
"Some Mutants have come from all over the World to settle and wish to join Klakoo," Raven said slowly, looking out the window upon hearing this question.
They had been arranged to obtain citizenship and settle in this city, but they were all Mutants in extremely poor living conditions, tired of discrimination and persecution, and came to Klakoo with the thought that life couldn't possibly get any worse.
"But the numbers aren't large, right?" he said with a calm smile.
"More of our compatriots are still observing," the capable White Queen Emma said, entering with Professor X.
Then she bowed her head in greeting: "Your Majesty."
"Ron, uh… Your Majesty…" Charles followed, feeling a bit awkward as he bowed, then hesitantly offered a suggestion.
"Ron, why did you establish this nation as a monarchy?
If it weren't for this, perhaps the outside World's hostility towards us wouldn't be so great, and more of our compatriots would choose to settle in Klakoo."
Many Mutants were hesitant to come because Klakoo was a monarchy.
In modern society, establishing a monarchy was undoubtedly a regression.
"Charles, this is a nation established by Ron; he can do whatever he wants," Raven said sharply, speaking to her adoptive brother without ceremony.
"Don't use your ideas to bind him."
"Alright, Raven, you don't have to be so fierce," Professor X said, raising his hands slightly, not daring to say anything more. He had only offered a slight suggestion.
Then he looked at Ron seriously, with sincere gratitude mixed with a hint of admiration, and said.
"You are creating a Utopia for our compatriots, Ron.
Although I do not approve of monarchy, I must say, no one is more deserving of the title of Mutant leader than you."
At that embargo line, he, Magneto, and Ron had agreed to see whose path was more suitable for Mutants, to create a future for Mutants.
Now, he and Magneto were both thoroughly convinced of their defeat; even Magneto, with his arrogant demeanor, had bowed to Ron, expressing apology and admiration.
"This is just the beginning.
Klakoo will open up next."
Ron said calmly.
"The whole World will see that Klakoo is the best nation on Earth."
"Yes," White Queen Emma said, bowing her head in acknowledgment.
He looked out the window, dismissing Professor X's earlier words as nonsense.
Having put so much effort into establishing this nation, why wouldn't he establish a monarchy? Would he establish an electoral system instead?
People and Mutants all over the World would witness the advancement and uniqueness of the nation he had established.
…
The Mutant nation, Klakoo, opened.
Any nation or person could visit the island. They first released video footage of the domestic situation to the outside World.
However, that footage seemed like scenes from science fiction, raising suspicions worldwide, yet seeing the colorful, incredibly clear, super- 시대 footage, they couldn't help but somewhat believe it.
Ambassadors from various nations arrived eagerly, filled with trepidation and fear, afraid that what they saw was real.
If those fantastical scenes were true, the entire World order would undergo massive changes.
Whoosh!
When their planes landed on the island, their eyes widened.
In the distance were clean, simple streets, futuristic, technologically advanced skyscrapers standing in the city, ubiquitous holographic projection displays, and robot guards patrolling back and forth.
"My God, did I really not travel to a New Century?"
A group of national ambassadors stood with their mouths agape, crowded on the passenger plane steps, forgetting to disembark.
Compared to this place, every other place in the World seemed so dilapidated and backward.
"Welcome to Klakoo," a deep voice sounded from below the plane.
They looked, their faces changing dramatically, startled, almost falling down the steps: "Magneto?"
The World's biggest Terrorist, the person who almost destroyed the World a while ago, probably no one on Earth wouldn't recognize him now.
"There's no need to panic. I admit I won't be a friendly ambassador, but I will do my best to carry out my reception duties," Magneto Erik said, dressed in a black suit, acting like a reception ambassador with a cold expression.
"You… why are you here?
Ron didn't even arrest you, and you almost killed billions of people!"
An ambassador said, his face pale, pointing at him.
"Firstly, you have entered Klakoo; remember to address him respectfully—King Ron!"
His tone was cold as he emphasized this, then tugged at a bomb collar made of super carbon fiber around his neck.
"Secondly, as you can see, I am serving my time in correctional labor."
"Now… please disembark, Ambassadors."
Magneto said 'please,' but no one dared not to follow his words.
He led the group of anxious and fearful ambassadors from various nations on a tour of Klakoo.
The external glimpse shocked them, but the various facilities and technologies inside Klakoo astonished them beyond measure.
Motor airships flying around, containing super-era technology yet serving as ordinary transportation, maglev trains that traversed cities in just a minute or two, medical cradles that could cure all diseases…
And Klakoo's high welfare policies, which could cripple any other nation.
From birth, one no longer had to worry about education, illness, or work; even doing nothing, relying on the nation's welfare funds, one could maintain a decent life.
"Utopia, although there is a monarch above all citizens, Klakoo is still a unique Utopian nation on Earth."
After experiencing the city's facilities, some ambassadors, all cured of their ailments, couldn't help but exclaim excitedly, even secretly wondering why they weren't Mutants.
When all the ambassadors finished their tour of Klakoo and reported back to their respective nations, all the countries on Earth were shocked and disbelieving.
Images and news brought out by some individual visitors plunged the World into horror, stirring up a storm.
"Some once doubted whether the nation of Klakoo could endure long.
Now I just want to say, even if any nation on Earth disintegrates, Klakoo will probably not disappear."
"A beautiful nation, like something only seen in dreams."
"I have a premonition that the status of Mutants will undergo Earth-shattering changes."
People all over the World discussed animatedly, filled with longing.
There were also some nations that felt threatened by Klakoo, feeling afraid, and led by the U.S., they gathered to discuss eliminating it.
"Earth does not allow such a powerful nation to exist.
Especially a Mutant nation; how much human blood debt is on the heads of Mutants.
Which nation on Earth hasn't lost people because of Mutants."
"It is too dangerous; it must be eliminated."
