Mrs Voss blinked repeatedly to snap out of her thoughts as she walked towards Dr Patel and President Raymond Caldwell. The guards behind them were armed, looking around to make sure everywhere was safe.
The president had no reason to visit anyone's house. He was too busy to do that. It's either he sends his assistant or any of his men. But, since he was there today, they knew it was very important.
"Welcome, I wasn't expecting a visit from the President," Mrs Voss faked a laugh as she led them to the sofa. They sat down and the president finally looked at her after glancing around the large living room.
"What a beautiful house," the old man nodded his head.
"Thank you, President. But, how may I help you?" Mrs Voss smiled and asked. The president turned to Dr Patel to answer and the doctor stood up immediately.
"We're here to see Elias Kane. He's here, isn't he?" He asked.
She clenched her fist beside her as she tried not to show the anger on her face.
