Mrs Voss, who was supposed to go to an event, found somewhere to sit, thanks to her son. She rubbed her forehead, as she exhaled deeply. She was listening to Jace yell at Elias, saying it was his fault they got humiliated like that. But, to Elias, he did nothing wrong.
"Elias... Stop it already," She sighed.
"Mother..." He tried to speak but Elias interrupted him instead.
"You said I didn't tell you I saved his son. How on earth am I supposed to know who he was? If you aren't blind or deaf, you would have seen how I reacted when he introduced himself. I saved Nathan and took him to the hotel to get him treated. Then, he ran away. How should I know whose son he was?" Elias asked. Jace remained quiet. Now, he couldn't speak.
Even Mrs Voss could understand what was going on. Elias had just saved the stranger and the stranger turned out to be the son of one of the most influential men in the country.
