"While we are on this topic, there is another thing I noticed," Adrian said, shifting his attention toward Caelum. "The formations in the Arcane Concept Hall are good, but they are not the most effective method of teaching comprehension. They display visuals and structural truths, but true improvement happens when one experiences the conceptual essence directly."
Caelum's expression shifted, acknowledging the critique with a slight nod. "Yes," he responded thoughtfully. "Immersion within a concentrated conceptual field would significantly accelerate comprehension. However, the issue is that we do not have inscribers with sufficient mastery to construct such formations."
"Our current formations were commissioned long ago, back when the sect had stronger ties with external formation masters. Most of those connections were severed during the war."
"Even if we hired someone capable of building such a formation now," Varcain added from the logistical side, "logistical maintenance would become significantly harder. Immersive formations would require far greater amounts of conceptual essence crystals. To support that, we would need to assign more disciples to convert high-tier mana crystals into essence crystals. That would increase production time and substantially raise long-term costs."
"And with our current workforce already stretched thin across alchemy production and reconstruction efforts, we simply don't have the manpower to spare."
Adrian nodded, absorbing their concerns. It was exactly as he had expected. Compared to great sects, a minor sect inevitably struggled with resource limitations, and the recent war also impacted them highly.
"I understand," Adrian said calmly, "Since that is the case, I have a better method to teach arcane concepts."
He raised his hand and channeled vitality essence into a controlled manifestation. The imprint concept lingered faintly in the air as the spell structure completed, weaving together in a crimson sphere that pulsed with soft, rhythmic light. The sphere hovered above his palm.
Hestia's eyes narrowed slightly, "Imprint concept."
The others caught this as well. They had seen this imprint concept many times used in auctions and stores before, so it was not hard for anyone to recognize this.
And Adrian using it did not feel strange to them. They had already assumed he came from a background connected to a great sect, and even major sects utilized imprint methods to transmit inheritances and structured knowledge. It was only minor sects like theirs that lacked access to such techniques.
"This sphere contains the complete knowledge of the vitality concept," Adrian explained. "Unlike scriptures or temporary knowledge transmissions, this imprint becomes permanently embedded in the mind. Once used, the knowledge remains accessible at all times and can be comprehended gradually."
"This makes the current Arcane Concept Hall formation unnecessary. Disciples can learn directly from this."
Adrian formed several more crimson spheres, each one identical in structure. They floated above his hand like small stars, casting faint red light across the table. He sent one toward each one present with a subtle gesture.
"Try it," he said calmly. "You will understand the difference."
Lara reached out first, her fingers brushing against the sphere. It dissolved on contact, flowing into her mind.
Each of them allowed the sphere to make contact. The moment the imprint connected, knowledge flowed into their minds. It was not a static record, but a structured progression of understanding. They could perceive how Adrian had comprehended vitality from the foundational truths to deeper layers. It was arranged intuitively, beginning from simple conceptual entry points and gradually unfolding toward more advanced insight.
Hestia closed her eyes briefly, processing the influx.
Since they had already comprehended vitality to advanced galactic level, they could immediately judge its quality.
Caelum exhaled slowly, "This is…" he began, then stopped, searching for the right words.
"If the disciples used this, they could learn it better than staring at the visuals and truths in the formation. This is undeniably superior to our current method."
Adrian said, "Yes. With this method, disciples no longer need to attend the Arcane Concept Hall for arcane concepts. I will share the imprint concept itself along with the spell structure I created. There will be no external issues regarding ownership. Both the comprehension and the spell are entirely my own."
Hestia's gaze fixed on him, her expression unreadable.
"You would teach us how to create these imprints ourselves?" she asked slowly.
"Yes," Adrian confirmed.
Before anyone could respond, Adrian created several white-grey spheres, their color distinct from the crimson vitality imprints. These contained the complete knowledge of the imprint concept and the spell construct required to use it. The spheres floated gently across the table, one drifting toward each elder.
This time, the absorption was slower. Unlike with vitality, which they had already comprehended, the imprint concept was new territory. Most of them did not even possess planetary-level understanding of imprint concept. They could only access the foundational planetary segments immediately. The more advanced layers remained sealed within their minds, available for gradual comprehension.
Lara frowned slightly, her expression thoughtful rather than frustrated.
"It's… locked," she said, testing the boundaries of the knowledge. "I can sense the deeper layers, but I can't access them yet."
Adrian explained, his voice patient.
"It will take time to fully comprehend this. However, once mastered, you will be able to imprint your concepts. That will allow you to train disciples far more efficiently."
Varcain spoke, "This will significantly improve long-term learning. We already have disciples assigned to convert mana crystals into conceptual essence crystals. If they comprehend imprint, they can produce these and reduce focusing on converting essence crystals for the teaching formations."
Adrian nodded. He considered suggesting the Knowledge Forge method for automating this process, but without origin ink, its efficiency would be drastically reduced. It would require manual conversion of imprint and vitality essence crystals, meaning labor demands would remain. So at the end, the workload would remain largely the same, so there was no practical advantage in introducing that idea yet.
Lara leaned slightly forward, her fingers still resting against the table's edge. "This method can also be used to teach divine spells, correct?"
"Yes," Adrian replied. "But there are limitations in this. This imprint carries knowledge by your essence. If you want to create a sphere with blood arcane concept knowledge, then you need to use blood essence. So divine spells and any knowledge related to a divine concept can be imprinted with the compatible divine essence, but you cannot imprint your memories with this."
Only Source essence was able to contain anything, from his memories to authority techniques. So for now, only Adrian could do these kinds of things.
Lara absorbed this, "Still, that means we could distribute divine spell knowledge directly. No need for disciples to spend decades deciphering scripture or waiting for personal instruction."
"Precisely," Adrian confirmed.
"This would also reduce the burden on elders," Torvain added. "We spend considerable time teaching the same fundamental spells repeatedly. This would free us for more advanced instruction."
Hestia remained silent for a moment. Even though this had limitations, methods like this were typically monopolized by major sects. And now they possessed it. Adrian had already offered a Life-based divine concept, something that could redefine their long-term growth. This imprint method reinforced that transformation at a structural level.
She looked at Adrian directly. "Elder Adrian," Hestia said with composed authority, "your contributions today will not merely strengthen this sect, they will redefine its trajectory. On behalf of the Crimson Vital Sect, I acknowledge your efforts and extend my gratitude. Your actions have secured not only resources, but a foundation for our future."
Adrian inclined his head slightly. "I am only fulfilling my responsibilities as an elder."
Lara smiled briefly. Torvain nodded with approval. Maelis's expression softened.
The meeting continued as they discussed implementation. There were numerous matters to address. A base needed to be constructed within the Azure Garden, permanent structures capable of housing disciples and supporting long-term cultivation. Market expansion strategies required restructuring to capitalize on the rare plants now under their control. The imprint concept had to be comprehended and integrated into educational frameworks. Production chains for knowledge spheres needed to be organized from scratch.
Tasks were distributed accordingly.
Even Hestia assigned responsibilities to herself, diplomatic outreach to neutral minor sects, and establishing trade agreements that would position the Crimson Vital Sect as a rising power rather than a desperate survivor.
When it came time to assign Adrian's responsibilities, Hestia spoke carefully.
"Elder Adrian, you previously mentioned creating training formations for the Life-based divine concept you intend to offer the sect. Given our current direction with imprint methodology, we can follow a similar path. Would you begin by creating knowledge spheres for the arcane concepts required for that divine concept?"
"Yes," Adrian replied. "I will begin immediately. I will create several thousand knowledge spheres for initial distribution. That should be sufficient for the first wave of disciples."
He did not yet possess a finalized Life-based divine concept structure. However, he was confident he could reverse-engineer the formation logic within the Azure Garden and derive a proper divine concept framework from it.
Hestia nodded. "Let us proceed step by step. Attempting everything at once will only create instability. We build the foundation first, and expansion comes after."
Everyone acknowledged the directive with quiet agreement.
Lara stood first, gathering the documents she'd brought. "Then I will coordinate with Varcain and begin drafting construction plans for the Azure Garden base."
Torvain rose as well. "I'll assign security rotations to the relic world. We cannot afford breaches."
Maelis and Caelum exchanged brief words before departing together.
The meeting was dismissed.
As Adrian walked out of the administrative chamber, he allowed himself a faint smile. He had revealed multiple things today, his Life-based divine concept, the imprint technique, his willingness to share knowledge freely. In a way, he had done this to test the sect leader.
And from what he observed till now, he could see Hestia was not driven by selfish impulse.
She could have requested a direct imprint of the Life-based divine concept for her own future advancement, securing her personal path beyond the Crimson Vital Dominion she already wielded. Or she could have asked Adrian to establish a Life-based growth formation within the sect's main alchemy garden to boost production immediately, strengthening her position through visible economic gains. Either of those actions would have benefited her standing personally, cementing her authority as the one who secured such advantages.
Instead, she prioritized teaching disciples and building a sustainable long-term foundation.
That told Adrian everything he needed to know.
