Wind Scar!" Inuyasha shouts as the blast of energy heads straight for the wall, and it begins to dissipate, causing my eyes to widen. "Not as if I thought Kagome would lie to me, but hearing about it and seeing it in action are two different things." I think as a smirk appears on Inuyasha's face, his sword turns back to its normal color.
"I knew it! It was just a barrier!" Inuyasha proclaims, but we then see a tornado rush past us.
"That wasn't bad for a mutt like you!" Koga calls out as he looks back to see Inuyasha glaring at him.
"What did you say?!" Inuyasha exclaims with an angry expression.
"Koga, wait!" Ginta wails, running past Inuyasha, while Koga looks back at me.
"Don't you worry, (Y/N). I'll save Kagome next!" Koga made known, causing me to sigh as I saw him disappear in the distance.
"Slow down, boss!" Hakkaku bellows as he rushes after Koga as well.
"Hey!" Inuyasha bellows, causing me to scoff.
"That was expected..." I trail off, causing Inuyasha to glance over at me.
"We're here, Inuyasha!" I hear Shippo's voice ring out, causing us both to look back.
"It took you long enough!" Inuyasha nags as I see Kirara land with Songo, Miroku, and Shippo riding her.
"(Y/N)!" Shippo cries out as he jumps to me, and I catch him.
"Sorry, did I worry you?" I ask, causing him to nod.
"We're glad you're safe," Songo answers as I look over to them. "I think you and Shippo are the only ones..." I think with a slight smile.
"Where is Kagome, and what is that?" Miroku questions, looking behind Inuyasha and me.
"The castle entrance. The cats must be hiding somewhere inside it." Inuyasha responds as he sheaths his sword, while turning away from them.
"If they're around, Kagome must be here, too." Shippo points out, and I nod.
"Yeah, let's go." Inuyasha insists, while running, as Shippo jumps onto my shoulder and I rush after him. "I'm a little concerned about what the cats were talking about before Koga showed up... That woman, Tōran said, she wanted to use me as bait, but for whom?" I wonder, as I look over to see Kirara flying beside me. Suddenly, we come to huts, causing us to start walking through with confused expressions.
"What is this place?" Inuyasha asks as we begin looking around.
"It seems like a regular village," Songo answers, as Shippo crawls down from my shoulder, causing me to hold him in my arms.
"You know, it's a pretty good-sized town built around the castle," Miroku adds.
"But it feels empty..." I trail off as Shippo jumps down.
"Why here, of all places? What's a village doing here?" Shippo questions as he rushes over to one of the huts and opens the door. Walking into the hut, I follow after Shippo along with Songo.
"No one seems to be here," Songo responds as she walks out.
"Empty Village, was it the Cats doing?" I wonder as I walk after Songo to see Miroku walking out of the hut that was across from the one we were in.
"No one's around, but it looks like people live here. Also, there's no sign of Koga and his men, either." Miroku states as he looks over at me.
"Yeah." Inuyasha agrees as he looks over at me as well.
"If you're wondering if I can sense his Jewel Shard, I can't," I inform, but then growling sounds out, causing us all to ready ourselves. "The cats have come out to play, huh?" I wonder as I place my hand on my sheath as Karan lands in front of us.
"That's where you were hiding!" Inuyasha calls out as he rushes towards Karan, while drawing his blade and goes to slash her, but she jumps out of his way. Landing onto the top of a hut, several cats begin rushing towards us from behind her. Miroku, Songo, and I begin fighting the cats that were relentlessly attacking us.
"Kagome, where are you?" Shippo's voice rings out, causing me to look over to see cats surrounding him.
"Shippo! I shout as more cats begin rushing towards me, but I jump up using one of the cats' heads to propel myself over to Shippo and grab him.
"Ah!" I sound out as a sharp pain engulfs my arm.
"Are you okay!?" Shippo exclaims as I look over to see blood running down my arm.
"Shippo, (Y/N)!" Inuyasha bellows as wind wraps around his sword, causing me to quickly jump away.
"Wind Scar!" Inuyasha adds as Shippo screams, thanks to it barely missing us. "Is he trying to kill me or help me?" I wonder with a sigh.
"Watch where you're pointing that thing! They could be hiding Kagome in any one of these houses!" Miroku declares as I regain my composure, while Shippo gets on my shoulder. However, the cats begin retreating, causing Inuyasha to rush after them.
"Stop!" Inuyasha demands as I begin rushing after them with Shippo.
"Something doesn't seem right about this..." I trail off as we all land on the ground, but I then look over to see Karan again.
"You certainly are impatient!" Karan made known, causing everyone to look over at her as well.
"How rude! Breaking our barrier and busting in like you did!" Karan bickers, causing me to scoff.
"You're the rude ones if you want to get technical!" I point out with a glare, causing her to glare back at me.
"Stop yakking and tell me where Kagome is!" Inuyasha demands turning Karan's attention away from me.
"Don't worry, she's safe," Karan assures.
"Come on! Answer me!" Inuyasha reiterates.
"When the moon is directly overhead, that is when we plan to sacrifice her to our master," Karan explains as she looks back at the freshly risen moon. "They're going to-"
"Sacrifice?" Inuyasha growls, causing Karan to look back at him.
"Naturally, you'll be joining her." Karan taunts, causing anger to rise in me, but then a black smoke begins to spray out from the shutters.
"What's happening?" Shippo questions as he jumps down from my shoulder.
"Where's this smoke coming from?" Miroku asks as it begins to cloud our vision.
"Don't worry; I think it's just a smokescreen," Songo answered as Shippo quickly put his hands to his nose.
"Ooh, what a stink!" Shippo calls out as Kirara growls, while shrinking into her small form. "They're trying to stall for time, that's gotta be it." I think as I see Inuyasha put his arm over his nose with a groan.
"Hold on, Inuyasha!" Shippo adds as Inuyasha begins trembling.
"My power..."Inuyasha trails off as Karan begins to laugh.
"How's that for potent? Considering how keen our sense of smell is, it must be worse for you, dogs!" Karan jibes as Miroku and I look over at her.
"Is this a trap to stop Inuyasha?" Miroku questions.
"Yes, but it's not going exactly according to plan," Karan responds as the cats begin holding up spears and throwing them towards us, causing me to jump up and over to Karan, but she dodges my advance.
"You're a pain, girl!" Karan calls out as she glances over at Inuyasha and the others.
"Capture them before they escape!" Karan adds, causing me to rush after with an annoyed expression. Suddenly, Karan's eyes widen as she jumps, but then a bright light engulfs me. "Oh shit!" I think as I shut my eyes.
"Sesshomaru!" A voice rings out, causing my eyes to quickly open to see Sesshomaru's face above mine as he stares at me. "Sesshomaru, why are you here?!" I wonder as I stare up at him, but he then breaks eye contact to look up.
"What is the meaning of this, Karan? Is it me that you have business with, or these people?" Sesshomaru asks. "His voice sounds so harsh..." I think, as I feel pressure on my chest.
"The elder brother has arrived. Your timing couldn't have been better. Sons of the Dog Leader will be waiting at the castle." Karan answers as she then jumps away along with the other cats. Finally realizing his arm was wrapped around me, I straightened up, causing him to remove his arm.
"Sorry," I whisper as he walks in front of me. "Wait, could I possibly have been bait for Sesshomaru?" I wonder as Sesshomaru faces Inuyasha.
"What the hell are you doing here, Sesshomaru?" Inuyasha questions, while pointing his sword towards him.
"Just what I was thinking. Leave, while you can." Sesshomaru responds as I could hear the resentment in his voice, causing me to flinch a little.
"Hmm, what did you say?" Inuyasha asks.
"This is my war. I won't let you get involved." Sesshomaru answers as I could feel the tension filling the air.
"Ha! I don't need to have your permission! Kagome's been captured by those Demon cats!" Inuyasha, made known as Sesshomaru, glances back for a moment, but then shuts his eyes.
"You are such a fool!" Sesshomaru bellows as a blast of energy from his sword rushes towards Inuyasha. I see Inuyasha blown back into one of the huts as Songo, Miroku, and Shippo gather together, with their weapons ready.
"Sesshomaru-"
"Hey! What are you coming after me for?!" Inuyasha exclaims while interrupting me, causing Sesshomaru to glare at him.
"Silence, Inuyasha!" Sesshomaru's demands cause me to freeze in place.
"What the hell?" Inuyasha questions, but Sesshomaru continued to glare at him.
"Remember your past, Inuyasha. You lost your heart to a mortal and ended up under a spell for years. Consequently, you have no right to be part of this battle." Sesshomaru responds, and my eyes widen.
"Lord, Sesshomaru! We need all the allies we can get! We mustn't be too choosy at a time like this! Jaken announces as Sesshomaru turns and walks towards him, steps on Jaken, and then begins walking away.
"You never learn, do you, Jaken?" I ask as I bend down to Jaken, who glares over at me.
"So you ran off and joined them..." Jaken trails off. "It's a lot more complicated than that, you Imp." I think as I let out a sigh.
"That guy's scary!" Shippo wails.
"I've never seen him look so upset." Songo made known. "Sesshomaru usually doesn't show much emotion... Towards Inuyasha, though he seemed enraged." I think, but before I could stop, I was walking in the direction Sesshomaru left in.
(To Inuyasha)
"Was it something you said, Inuyasha?" Miroku questions as Inuyasha begins walking over to him.
"I don't know," Inuyasha responds, sheathing his sword.
"Master!" A voice rings out, causing them all to look up to see a giant yellow flying thing in the sky.
"Hacchi, it's you!" Miroku calls out, causing me to put on a confused expression, but then an explosion sound rings out as a ball of smoke appears, while Hacchi front flips until he hits the ground in front of Miroku.
"I thought you'd run off on us, Hacchi." Songo points out.
"No, I did, at least, I was trying to." Hacchi insists, while scratching his head, causing something to jump off him and over to Inuyasha.
"Master Inuyasha!" A familiar voice rings out, causing us all to look over and see Myoga sucking on Inuyasha's cheek. Smacking his cheek, Inuyasha looks down at his palm to see the smooshed Myoga.
"I've come to lend my assistance," Myoga states.
"What are you doing around here, old man?" Inuyasha asks.
"Wait, where did (Y/N) go?!" Shippo exclaims, causing them all to look over where she was standing, but she was gone.
(To (Y/N) )
"Why was he so mad?" I ask, but a scoff sounds out, causing me to see Jaken walking beside me.
"When it was Lord Sesshomaru's turn to fight this war, Inuyasha was under a spell and of no use." Jaken's answer caused me to look down at the ground. "You lost your heart to a mortal and ended up under a spell for years." Sesshomaru's words rang out through my head.
"More importantly, why are you following after my lord?" Jaken questions as he narrows his eyes at me, and I shrug my shoulders.
"No clue. I mean, I should be more focused on saving Kagome..." I trail off as we continue walking. "For some reason, I just felt as if I should follow him." I think as a growling sound begins to ring out, causing Jaken and me to stop in our tracks, and I quickly hide so as not to be detected.
"You summoned me to come. Now let me see your so-called Master." Sesshomaru's voice rings out, causing Jaken and me to look over and see him standing there, glaring at Tōran, who was standing a couple of feet away from him.
"All in good time, once the preparations are complete. In the meantime, won't you stay here with me?" Tōran requests, causing Jaken to rush to Sesshomaru's side.
"Let me take care of this Wench, Lord Sesshomaru! Feel the power of the staff of two heads!" Jaken calls out as he places his staff on the ground, while fire shoots out of it. However, Tōran holds out her hand, causing cold wind to blow towards him.
"Be strong, staff!" Jaken shouts, but he is then blown back as ice cycle rushes towards him.
"Ah!" Jaken screams as I quickly draw my blade and slash the icicles.
"You're a pain, Jaken," I remark, but then Tōran chuckles as she begins rushing towards me. "Oh shit!- My thoughts were interrupted by Sesshomaru, who was in front of me and clashing blades with Tōran.
"To think she truly is your weakness." Tōran points out, causing Sesshomaru to scoff as he pushes her back. "Sesshomaru's weakness?" I wonder as I then look over to see the other cats rushing towards Jaken and me, and I turn to them, pointing my sword towards them.
"I am impressed. Your weapon is formidable!" Tōran made known as she rushes towards him again, as I start fighting against the cats. Suddenly, the cats retreat as a light catches my eyes to see it was coming from Sesshomaru and Tōran.
"Ahh, the memories. It's exactly like the last time we fought. Back then, it was a draw; this time, you have something I can extort and you won't be so lucky!" Tōran adds as she glances over to me. "Wait, does she think I'm Sesshomaru's weakness?" I wonder as I stared at them in disbelief.
"You're talking nonsense. I would hardly call that a draw. You simply retreated in defeat." Sesshomaru counters.
"Now, now, you're one to talk with all the men you lost." Tōran re-counters, causing Sesshomaru to send out a blade of energy.
"I wasn't nearly as determined back then as I am right now. Because now we have our master and soon her." Tōran states as she lands on the ground, pointing towards me, causing the cats to head straight towards me, but before I could react, Sesshomaru quickly sends a wave of energy towards the cats. "That was close..." I think with a sigh.
"Now, things are completely different." Tōran's voice rang out, but she was nowhere to be seen as Sesshomaru turned to me with a strange look in his eyes, and then began walking past me.
(To Kagome)
She was in the cell when the cats pushed some more people into the cell, causing her to rush over to them.
"Miroku! Songo!" Kagome calls out as she sees they are unconscious.
"You and your friends will be sacrificed and offered to our Master. You will give us your Jewel Shards and your lives, and our Master will be resurrected!" Shūran informs as Kagome looks at him with a terrified expression, with Songo lying in her lap.
(To (Y/N) )
"Why did you follow me?" Sesshomaru asks, while stopping and glancing back at me, causing me to stare at him for a moment.
"I'm not quite sure myself," I answer as I look away, but then realize we lost Jaken, causing me to look around, only to then see blood on Sesshomaru's hand.
"You're bleeding!" I shout as I go to grab his arm, but he moves it away from me.
"Not mine..." Sesshomaru trails off as he looks over at my shoulder, causing me to look over and see the blood stain on my shirt. "Did it come from when he caught me before?" I wonder.
"Sorry, let me get it off." I insist as I pull out a handkerchief, causing Sesshomaru to narrow his eyes at me, but I slowly grab his hand and begin cleaning the blood off. "I'm surprised he let me touch him. I mean, earlier when he gave me that look, I thought he wanted to kill me." I think as I finish wiping the blood off, causing Sesshomaru to turn and begin walking once again.
(To Miroku)
Miroku sits up, holding his head, and looks over to see Songo, who was unconscious. patting her cheek softly, Songo opens her eyes and sits up.
"Where are we?" Songo asks as she turns to Miroku, who then looks around.
"Yeah?" Mioku questions, causing Kagome to walk over to them.
"Thank goodness you're both finally awake!" Kagome chirps, causing them both to look over at her.
"Kagome!" Both Songo and Miroku chorus.
"I'm glad you're all right!" Songo insists.
"So, is this some kind of prison cell they've put us in?" Miroku asks, causing Kagome to look over at him.
"Yes, and we're not the only people in here, either," Kagome answers, causing them both to put on a confused expression.
"Who else is in here?" Miroku questions, causing Kagome to turn and look behind her.
"Look," Kagome responds, causing Miroku and Songo to look and see Villagers.
"Who are they? Do you think they're the Villagers?" Songo asks as she stands up.
"No wonder there was no sign of life in the town," Miroku answers.
"Yeah, I think it was like a secret Village. I gather that these are the people who escaped the wars." Kagome informs.
"I see. It's a perfect place to hide in peace." Miroku states as he looks over at Kagome.
"At least it was until the Panther Tribe discovered it and made it their home base." Kagome declares, while turning to Miroku.
"You've got to help us. Or else we're all going to be killed by those cats." Village man 1 pleads.
"I'm afraid. Why did those Demons have to come?" Village Woman 1 questions, causing Kagome to get up with a confident expression.
"Don't worry, everyone! You can cheer up because help is definitely on the way!" Kagome chirps.
"The Demons will get wind of it for certain!" Village Woman 2 proclaims.
"I can assure you that the person coming to save us is much stronger than those cats are," Kagome explains.
"I'm terrified!" Village Woman 3 cries out.
"Oh, lord, please help all of us." Village man 2 prays.
"Who's stronger than the cats? Village man 3 asks, while standing up.
"Inuyasha, (Y/N) and Koga! They're all strong, and they're definitely coming for us!" Kagome answers.
"I wouldn't be so sure about Sesshomaru, though." Miroku made known, and Songo nods.
"Yeah, especially since (Y/N) went after him." Songo agrees.
"What are you both talking about?" Kagome questions with a bewildered expression.
"He's here battling the Panther Demon Tribe," Songo responds.
"Why is he doing that, and why the heck did (Y/N) go after him? More importantly, how does she even know him?!" Kagome exclaims.
(To Tōran)
Tōran places three Sacred Jewel Shards on the table in front of her master.
"The time has almost come. Soon, you will be resurrected, Master." Tōran informs with a determined expression.
(To (Y/N) )
Karan was standing on top of a roof on the gate with fire engulfing her as she glared down at us.
"Ha! It's the older brother again, along with the wench. "I dare you to come down here and say that!" I think as I glare up at her, as I place my hand on my sword. Suddenly, several fireballs fly towards Sesshomaru as she rushes toward me, causing me to quickly draw my blade and go to slash her, but she dodges it.
"I won't be an easy target," I state, causing Karan to scoff as she rushes towards me as I ready myself, but Sesshomaru gets in front of me, causing Karan to change direction as fire begins to engulf her. "Does he think I can't handle myself?" I wonder as Karan grins.
"Fireball!" Karan shouts as a fireball rushes towards us, but Sesshomaru lets out a blast of energy, completely engulfing the Fireball and heading straight towards Karan.
"Ah!" Karan screams as she is forced back into the wall and falls into the water as Sesshomaru and I walk towards the gate.
"I didn't think cats liked water." I tease, causing her to growl at me with an angry glare. Quickly, both Sesshomaru and I jump away, dodging an Icicle that was on the ground that began turning everything around us to ice. "Definitely don't feel like being turned into an Ice sculpture today by the Ice-Cat." I think as Karan looks up at the gate.
"Tōran!" Karan calls out, but Tōran's eyes were fixated on us.
"What a surprise. I thought you would be weaker than you were before." Tōran insists, causing Sesshomaru to take a step in front of me. "I don't know whether he's trying to protect me or threaten them..." I think with a confused expression.
"What do you mean by that?" Sesshomaru asks.
"You're short an arm. Who could have done such a thing to the mighty Sesshomaru? Maybe that Priestess next to you?" Tōran questions with a chuckle, causing Sesshomaru to knit his brows. Jumping up, Sesshomaru lets out a blast of energy towards Tōran, who holds out her hand, shooting ice and snow towards him. Suddenly, a blast of energy shoots out, causing me to quickly place my sword into the ground and activate my Spiritual Powers, while a barrier begins to form around me as I'm engulfed in energy.
"That was close..." I trail off as I grab my sword out of the ground, causing the barrier to dissipate, while Tōran was standing on the roof, and Sesshomaru was standing on the bridge.
"At last, the celebrations are about to begin. We'll be waiting for you." Tōran chuckles as she's engulfed by snow and disappears. "We have to hurry or Kagome will be sacrificed." I think as I begin heading towards Sesshomaru, while sheathing my sword, but he then turns to me.
"You're a priestess," Sesshomaru states, causing me to nod slightly.
"I only found out recently." I declare as we stare at each other. "I feel so much hostility coming from him all of a sudden." I think as I finally look down.
"We should go," I add as I walk past him and begin walking towards the gate entrance.
(To Tōran)
Tōran, Karan, Shūran, and Shunran were all sitting in front of a big corpse.
"The time is now upon us, Master. The moon is almost directly overhead. In moments, the dogs we despise will be slaughtered, and the Panther Tribe will reign over this land." Tōran informs, as a barrier forms around them as Sesshomaru and I walk up, but before I could say anything, Sesshomaru rushes towards it, but is forced back.
"Soon our master will be resurrected. Sesshomaru, prepare to die." Tōran threatens as I go to grab my sword, but a growl sounds out as the giant corpse begins to move, and a chill runs up my spine. Grabbing the table with the Sacred Jewel and bringing it up to its mouth, swallowing them, causing them to gasp.
"Our master has awakened." Shūran insists, as a light emanates from the giant corpse's body.
"Give me blood, flesh... And soul." The Corpse demands as its eyes glow green, causing the blue sphere to break to reveal Villagers along with Miroku, Songo, and Kagome. "They're planning to sacrifice all of them to this Corpse?!" I exclaim as I tighten the grip on my sword's hilt.
"Damn it!" I curse.
"Kagome!" Koga's voice rings out, causing me to look over and see him jumping towards them.
"Koga!" Kagome calls out, and a worried expression appears on my face as Koga is repelled backwards.
"Damn it! A Barrier!" Koga states with an angry expression, causing Tōran to chuckle.
"As if fools like you could break The Great One's barrier." Tōran declares while turning to Koga.
"Stick around and join us for dinner. We're having Sacrificial Lamb." Shunran jibes, causing me to grit my teeth as the Corpse begins moving his hand towards Kagome and the others. "I won't let it eat them!" I think as I draw my sword and point it towards the barrier, while light engulfs my blade, and I go to strike the barrier.
"Kagome!" Inuyasha's voice rings out, causing me to stop as I see Inuyasha rushing towards the barrier with his red-bladed Tessaiga. Once it came into contact with the barrier, it dissipated, causing the other barrier around Kagome and the others to disappear as well.
"Sorry to keep you." Inuyasha insists, as everyone looks over at him.
"The Mutt! He broke our Master's barrier!" Karan bellows.
"How dare he?!" Tōran exclaims as I see something rushing towards us.
"Lord Sesshomaru! Lord Sesshomaru!" Jaken shouts as he then begins panting. "So he was with Inuyasha this whole time." I think as Jaken looks up at Sesshomaru.
"I have searched everywhere for you! Inuyasha has surprised me.
"When did he become so powerful and learn to wield the Tessaiga like that?" Jaken asks, causing me to sigh.
"He slayed a Vampire Bat Demon, or so I heard," I answer as Inuyasha rushes over to Kagome, but then Koga grabs onto her hand and pulls her away from him. "She definitely has them both wrapped around her finger." I think with a chuckle, but I then see the Corpse beginning to move again.
"Give me blood!" The giant Corpse demands as it heads straight towards Kagome.
"That guy doesn't give up." I made known, and Koga jumped away with Kagome as Inuyasha was smashed under the Giant Corpse's hand. However, the hand begins to be forced up to reveal Inuyasha.
"Ah!" The Corpse screams as Inuyasha slashes his hand off.
"He's attacking our Master!" Tōran calls out with an angry expression, but I then see Kagome rush over to the Villagers. "She must be trying to evacuate them. I'll help her so it'll be easier for Inuyasha and Sesshomaru to fight without distractions." I think as I begin rushing over.
"Stop them! Don't let them escape!" Tōran demands, causing me to scoff, and I go to slash the cats getting in front of the Villagers.
"Get the hell out of the way, Fur-balls!" I shout as I begin fighting the cats.
"Would you look at her go?" Ginta points out with a grin, and Hakkaku nods.
"That's our gal!" Hakkaku calls out, and Koga grins.
"All right. Don't just stand there. Clear the way for 'em." Koga insists as he and his two friends begin fighting the cats, along with me.
"Not bad, Wolf-Boys!" I call out as Koga punches a cat in front of me.
"I'd say the same for you as well." Koga winks, causing me to chuckle, but then I see Hiraikotsu, causing me to look over and see Songo and Miroku fighting as well. "Everything should be fine as long as that giant Corpse doesn't receive any sacrifices." I think as I continue to fight, but I then begin to hear two swords clashing.
"Don't tell me-" I was interrupted by the sigh of Inuyasha and Sesshomaru clashing blades.
"Why can't they join forces instead of fighting each other?" Jaken asks, and I shake my head slightly.
"Because they're both stubborn," I answer, causing Jaken to look over at me, and we both sigh.
"Back down!" Inuyasha demands as they glare at each other.
"I don't need any help from you." Sesshomaru retorts.
"Oh, yeah?" Inuyasha asks as they both jump away.
"Are they both out of their minds? Karan questions as she, along with the other Panther Demons, stares at Sesshomaru and Inuyasha in bewilderment.
"It's hard to believe they're brothers," Shunran responds.
"Yeah. What in the world are they thinking?" Shūran asks.
"The dog general's sons are fighting each other, which means that we must stay united. We'll combine our powers and strike them all at once." Tōran answers as all 4 of them were engulfed in auras.
"Sesshomaru, Inuyasha! Quite fighting each other and look!" I scream, causing them both to stop in their tracks and look at me, but I point over at the Panthers.
"Give me life!" The giant Corpse demands, causing Tōran to look up at him.
"Yes, Master. Please be patient. We shall offer you their souls in but a moment." Tōran specifies, but then the corpse's eyes glow green.
"Give me your soul!" The giant Corpse demands as he lets out an attack.
"Ah!" Tōran sounds out as she dodges it.
"AAAH!" Karan screams as she begins falling to the ground.
"Karan!" Tōran calls out with wide eyes.
"AAH!" Shunran cries out as she's slashed in half.
"AAAAH!" Shūran screams as it looks like he was struck by his own lightning. I quickly put my hand over my mouth as I see the Corpse devouring fire, cherry blossoms, and lightning.
"How could he?" Tōran questions with a terrified expression. "He killed them to revive himself..." I think with wide eyes as the corpse begins to transform and looks way more alive than before.
"You two, sons of the Dog General... You're next." Panther general threatens, and I scoff.
"Maybe you should cough up that hairball first, bastard," I remark as I glare up at him.
"Shūnran, Karan, Shūran... It can't be." Tōran begins sobbing beside the corpses of her friends.
"Dogs! You will now feel the full extent of my wrath!" Panther General proclaims as I grip my sword.
"Don't. Lord Sesshomaru and Inuyasha should be the ones to fight the Panther General." Jaken insists, causing me to turn to him, and I sigh.
"That's if they can..." I trail off as I sheath my sword.
"Time to wake up from your pipe dreams. Maybe my sword can help you." Inuyasha points out, causing the Panther General to bring his hand down towards him, but Inuyasha jumps out of the way. Jumping towards the Panther General, Sesshomaru lets out a slash of energy towards him from the Toki-jin, but it has little effect. "Maybe the only way they can beat this guy is by joining forces." I think as Sesshomaru lands on the ground.
"Out of my way! Wind Scar!" Inuyasha bellows as he smashes his sword to the ground, causing the Wind Scar to head straight for the Panther General.
"No such luck." Panther General chuckles as the Wind Scar didn't have any effect. "If they aren't going to work together, seeing as they're both stubborn..." I think as I look down at my hand.
"You got the strength to fight my old man, I'll give you that much. Ha! You won't get past me, though." Inuyasha made known.
"Don't be so sure, Inuyasha. He's become more powerful than Ryukotsei. He has the power of the Sacred Jewel Shards now." Jaken informs, causing my eyes to widen. Suddenly, the Panther General's claws begin shooting towards Inuyasha and Sesshomaru.
"Then we need to get the Shards out of his neck," I whisper as Sacred Power begins to form in it.
(To Kagome)
"It's the huge Panther Demon!" Villager Man 1 calls out as they could see the Panther General fighting in the distance.
"Look! The Panther Kings come back to life!" Shippo shouts, causing them all to put on worried expressions.
"I thought he needed a live sacrifice." Miroku points out, causing Koga to smirk.
"Maybe he had fresh Dog Meat," Koga remarks, causing Kagome to look over at him.
"Don't say things like that!" Kagome states, but Songo begins looking around.
"Actually, you guys... Where's (Y/N)?" Songo asks, causing them all to look around.
"She was helping us get the Villagers to safety last time I saw her," Koga answers, putting his hand to his chin.
"Don't tell me!" Kagome declares with a frightened expression.
"Now, now, Kagome, I'm sure she's fine." Miroku insists, trying to calm her down.
(To (Y/N) )
"Perish!" Sesshomaru demands as he rushes towards the Panther General, but is then smacked away by the General's horn.
"Lord Sesshomaru!" Jaken calls out, causing me to knit my eyebrows as anger rises within me, and I hold my hand out to the Panther General, who was laughing.
"Take this, you oversized Fur-Ball!" I bellow as I shoot the light of Spiritual Power towards him.
"AAAHHH!" The Panther General screams as he falls backwards. "Did I get him?" I wonder, but a sharp nail comes rushing towards me.
"Damn it!" I curse as I close my eyes, but the sound of metal rings out. Quickly, I open my eyes to see Sesshomaru in front of me.
"You shall be my next victims." Panther General states, as I see him back on his feet, but a whole next to the Jewel Shards light remained. "I missed them-" My thoughts were interrupted by Sesshomaru dropping to his knees.
"Sessho-"
"Lord Sesshomaru!" Jaken shouts as he rushes over to him, while interrupting me.
"My lord, what is it?" Jaken asks as I go to walk over, but I begin to hear a soft growl sound out.
"Curse him," Sesshomaru growls as a demonic aura begins to swirl around Sesshomaru, causing me to freeze in place. Suddenly, Sesshomaru stands up and sheaths his sword, but then the growling and Demonic Aura become more intense, causing my knees to give out, making me fall to the ground. "This is the power of a full demon?" I wonder as I stare up at Sesshomaru, while feeling overwhelmed.
"Huh? The Tenseiga." Sesshomaru says as the Demonic Aura disappears along with the growling, causing me to collapse onto the ground, which makes Jaken rush over to me. "That was intense..." I trail off as Jaken bends down.
"I'm surprised you're still conscious. You really aren't an ordinary Human, huh?" Jaken questions, causing me to sigh.
"Feels as if all my energy's been drained," I respond as I slowly lift to see Sesshomaru draw Tenseiga, while jumping in front of the Panther General.
"What was that?" Inuyasha asks.
"Why use the Sword of Healing?" I wonder as I stare at the beautiful light emitting from the Tenseiga. Once he landed, Sesshomaru sheathed his Tenseiga, causing the Panther General to look over at him.
"You can't harm me with that useless sword. Its blade is far too dull. Vanquished!" Panther General screeches as he goes to reach for Sesshomaru, but several lights begin swirling out of him all at once.
"My power... What's happening?" Panther General questions as he falls to his knees.
"I'm losing my power..." The Panther General trails off as I see his hair and skin beginning to deteriorate, as my vision begins to blur. "I can't keep myself awake... Damn it!" I think as I fall unconsciously to the ground.
(3rd Person)
"What have you done to me?" The Panther General wails as he completely changes back to his Corpse form.
"You finish him off with the Tessaiga." Sesshomaru insists as he walks away, but then looks over at (Y/N), who is unconscious, and bends down to her.
"Give me my... Soul!" Panther General demands as he goes to attack Inuyasha, who quickly brings his sword down.
"Wind Scar!" Inuyasha bellows, creating the Wind Scar that strikes the Panther General, causing him to fall backwards onto the ground, while screaming. Quickly, Inuyasha rushes over and cuts the Jewel Shards out of the Panther General's throat.
"I'm taking these back, thanks." Inuyasha insists as Tōran growled at him, but she then hears groaning, causing her to turn to her comrades.
"Tōran," Shūran says after he opens his eyes, along with Shunran.
"Ah." Karan sounds as she quickly sits up.
"You're all alive!" Tōran proclaims with wide eyes.
"What the hell just happened to us?" Karan asks as she stands up and looks down at her hands.
"Yeah. I was sure that the Master had killed us all." Shūran answers.
"Someone must have saved us." Shunran points out, causing Jaken to rush over to them.
"It was none other than Lord Sesshomaru!" Jaken chirps, causing them all to turn to him.
"Huh?!" They all chorused.
"Your own Master took your lives, but Lord Sesshomaru used his sword, the Tenseiga, to bring you back to life," Jaken informs.
"He saved us?" Tōran questions.
"The Mutt?" Karan asks with an angry expression.
"How about a show of gratitude? Right, Lord Sesshomaru?!" Jaken exclaims, as he then looks away.
"Where'd he go?" Jaken asks as he begins looking around.
"Oh, please don't leave me behind again!" Jaken pleads as he runs off.
(Time Skip)
"Rin." Sesshomaru's voice rings out, causing Rin to quickly turn to see him with a bright smile.
"Lord Sesshomaru! Wait, is that-" Rin is interrupted by seeing an unconscious (Y/N) in Sesshomaru's arm.
"(N/N)?!" Rin exclaims as she and A-Un rush over to them.
"Pesky Mortal..." Jaken trails off as Sesshomaru places (Y/N) on A-Un's back, while Rin stares up at her with a slightly worried expression.
"Let's be off." Sesshomaru insists as he begins walking, causing Jaken and Rin to follow after him along with A-Un, who was now carrying the unconscious (Y/N).
