Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Lecture (II)

On the snow mountain, it wasn't nighttime yet, but little Elwyn was asleep at this moment.

'He has been sleeping for quite a while'

Scraf glanced at the silver-haired child who was sleeping soundly by Jr Grund's side. Except he was lying on top of a furry skin while the little Grund was lying on a patch of snow ice.

In Elwyn's dream, there was a beautiful woman who had a visible semblance of Elwyn. Yes, the children took the face of their mother. In here, it looked like they had been talking for quite some time.

"So you say that I have a brother?"

"And we're twins?"

Elwyn enquired slowly with a slight crease on his face.

"Yes, you do," Makdie replied with a sweet smile.

"Where is he?" Elwyn asked again.

"I don't know either."

Makdie said with a guilty expression. I don't even know where you are.

"Where are you, Elwyn?" she asked him.

"I don't know. I live with three people who don't look like me," he replied.

"One of them told me that they are called bears and that I'm a human."

Makdie stared at him with immense sadness. My child was adopted by a group of bears. 'What exactly happened that day?' Makdie thought to herself.

'We sent them into a spacetime tunnel where they can be received by Uncle Read. What happened that day, we could sense there was a disturbance in the tunnel, but we couldn't do anything about it.'

"So it was a bear who took you that day."

"I was not able to see the being that was close to you that day, but I could feel it, and it didn't have a killing intent."

"I usually covered your soul with the aura from my soul energy to keep off beings with killing intent."

Makdie was a little distracted as she guiltily muttered.

"When I finish teaching you, make sure you work hard and train yourself so that you and your brother can protect yourselves."

"It's always dangerous wherever there are people," Makdie said to him with a heartbroken smile.

Elwyn stared at her calmly for a while.

"Mother Bear told me that."

"Why still go where people are?"

"Since it's dangerous, why not stay away from them?"

Makdie did not seem surprised by the little child's question.

'I knew it. This little brat is just like his father. Very boring.'

"You have to meet people for various reasons. You'll understand in the future. For now, let's continue the lecture."

Makdie smiled sweetly again.

"I like it when your face is like that," Elwyn's tiny voice sounded.

"It is called a smile, sweetheart."

Makdie gave a bright smile.

"Let's continue. You have to train your body first. Normally, we could've given you guys techniques that you can use to train your bodies. But we decided to let you guys figure that one your own."

"You don't need to use anybody's technique to train either of your bodies, soul, or spirit."

"Think hard, and be creative. If possible, you should travel more when you grow up so that you'll experience more things and know the best things that are more fitting for you."

Makdie carried on with the lecture, telling him how it was the best that he was able to create a technique for himself.

"As for how to create a technique?"

"First, you should know what you're creating and what you want it to do. Then start trying to do it. When it comes to creating things from scratch, it is normal for there to be too many failures. But those are the core foundations of your journey, ok."

"Everything you create or do is centered around energy; have that in mind."

"The soul, the body, and the spirit all absorb energy in different ways, too."

"The body absorbs energy through physical activities, which means you'll have to train your body by working yourself out again and again."

"However, while the body can absorb energy by working yourself out, you need a supply of energy, and the body cannot absorb energy from the surroundings as fast as the spirit, but what you're training is the body, not the spirit."

"So while working out, you also need to look for supplements to extract energy. An example of a supplement for the body is food. Another one is pills. Pills are refined from different types of energy into a pill. I can't explain the processes of pill refinement to you. If you want to learn such things, then you find somewhere in your world to do so."

Elwyn nodded slightly.

"If you have a powerful body, your soul will be easier for you to train, cause most times, the soul's strength is a bit related to how strong the body is."

"If your soul is far stronger than your body is, and there's no energy for the body to become stronger, your soul will wear your body out, and you'll soon lose the body. That's why a strong body is very essential. And also, don't ever stop training your body, just because you're training your soul or spirit."

"Going on, when you can sense your soul, you can then create a technique for your soul training. And just like the body, the soul won't automatically absorb energy always, so find supplements for it too. You can figure that out later."

"Finally, on the topic of Spirit. By the time you need to train your spirit, you should've experienced a lot, so I won't really talk much about it."

"You're just a child of a few months, so don't worry, even if you forget all of these things I taught you, I'll seal the memories in your soul so you can access them when your soul becomes stronger."

Elwyn shrugged his shoulders a little and told her not to worry that he would remember.

"I've never been able to forget anything I see or hear. I don't know why, once I think about it, I'll remember immediately."

Elwyn explained to her.

"Yeah, I also noticed that your soul is very powerful. For a child that's so young, you shouldn't have been able to see me now. Even though your father and I agreed to transfer every energy you needed for development to you at once, you still needed a lot of time for your souls to be strong enough to see me."

"I guess it should be related to that accident, your soul's hair is even silver in color. It's definitely related to that accident. I wonder what happened to Ewan, your brother."

"Make sure you find him ok. Next time, I'll teach you about Elements and Laws before this energy is exhausted."

"Are you going to come and meet my bear family?" Elwyn asked her.

"No, honey, but thank them for me, ok. I love you, baby."

Makdie said with a sad smile.

Scraf turned her head to look at the human child who had just woken up from sleep.

'I don't understand this child at all. His eyes don't even look like he just woke up from sleep. He doesn't even look drowsy. His eyes are just clear like he never slept.'

Scraf was still muttering when she heard Elwyn's voice...

"Mama, I have a lot of questions for you," Elwyn said as he tried to stand up.

"Oh, you finally have questions now. I thought you were never curious about anything."

"I am now, and it's all serious stuff. When are you free to answer the questions?"

He asked again

"I can answer them now. Y'all were sleeping, and I was really bored. If not because of your little brother, I would've gone out to hunt."

Scraf said gently.

"Ok, let's start."

It was Elwyn's voice again.
