Ch: 174-181
Chapter 174
Ju Ziyun looked around, her pupils narrowing. "What World is this?"
Bai Ye didn't answer; his Super Vision had already pierced through the entire city.
On the streets, rotting walkers staggered along.
Inside the mall, mutated Beasts gnawed on severed limbs.
The whole city was a ruin of broken walls and shattered arms.
And at the city's center stood the familiar red-and-white umbrella-shaped landmark.
The famous Umbrella Corporation from games and movies.
Seeing it, Bai Ye couldn't help but smile. "As expected—this World."
Suddenly Bai Ye narrowed his eyes, peering through layers of obstacles at a group of people miles away.
Ju Ziyun's ears twitched; she caught the distant growls and the rustle of crawling things.
Ju Ziyun's ears twitched; she caught the distant growls and the rustle of crawling things.
"Something in this city feels off."
Bai Ye waved a hand, unconcerned. "Relax, those things couldn't even scratch your skin."
Bai Ye thought of something and turned to Ju Ziyun. "Have you seen Resident Evil?"
Ju Ziyun blinked, puzzled. "I have. Why?"
Bai Ye gestured around them. "Then we're in that World right now."
Ju Ziyun: … She fell silent for two seconds, then slowly lifted her head and stared at him in disbelief.
"What? Resident Evil? That's just movies and games. Your power can jump into films and games?"
Bai Ye shrugged, correcting her.
"More precisely, it's crossing Universes. Resident Evil is a real World; in yours it only happens to be a movie or game."
Ju Ziyun nodded thoughtfully.
"Roar!!" 907
At that moment a pack of rotting Zombies caught the scent of living flesh and charged, howling.
Ju Ziyun frowned at the sight and was about to act.
Beside her, Bai Ye simply raised a hand and snapped his fingers.
Bang!
An invisible telekinetic ripple burst out; every Zombie within a hundred meters exploded into clouds of blood-mist.
Ju Ziyun: … Bai Ye lowered his hand, gazed toward the distant Umbrella building, and knew what to do next.
"Let's go meet this World's main characters."
Ju Ziyun drew a deep breath and followed his steps.
"The main characters—if I remember right—should be Leon and the others?"
Bai Ye smiled. "Clever."
Bai Ye rose into the air; a pale-golden Bio-Force Field wrapped around Ju Ziyun like flowing water.
The two shot skyward, hovering three hundred meters above the ground.
Night wind howled; Ju Ziyun's black hair whipped wildly as she looked down upon the dead city.
On the broken streets, rotting hordes writhed like ant swarms.
Beside burning car wrecks, Mutant Dogs tore at corpses.
On a distant hospital roof, several Survivors were being bitten in despair.
"Should we head straight to Raccoon City Police Department?"
Ju Ziyun's Super Vision pierced the smoke, locking onto the Gothic building several kilometers away.
"Of course!"
… Raccoon City Police Department, now
Gunfire, roars, and screams mingled as Zombies outside surged against the Iron Fence, rattling it violently.
"Everyone, fall back to the second floor!"
Leon Kennedy shouted, his Shotgun spitting fire.
One blast blew the front-row Zombies to pieces.
"Claire, get the civilians out first!"
Claire Redfield clenched her teeth, dragging several wounded Survivors toward the stairs.
"Leon, we can't hold! There are too many!"
"I know!"
Cold sweat beaded on Leon's forehead; his magazine was almost empty, yet the Zombies kept coming.
At the moment despair spread, the sky suddenly darkened.
An invisible pressure blanketed the area; every Zombie froze as if someone had pressed pause.
Leon jerked his head up, pupils shrinking the next instant.
A man and a woman hovered above the station: the man black-haired and dark-eyed, clad in black combat gear, cloak billowing, faint golden light flowing around him.
Beside him, the woman's black hair danced, arcs of dangerous energy leaping in her hand.
"What is that?" Claire murmured, stunned.
The next second the black-haired woman swept her hand— Boom!!
A blazing beam scythed across the nearest few hundred Zombies, vaporizing them and leaving only a charred trench.
The man merely flicked his wrist.
Crack!
Every motionless Zombie suddenly twisted and deformed, like clay being kneaded by an invisible hand.
The sound of snapping bones merged into one long crack before the bodies all slumped to the ground, completely immobilized.
At this miracle-like sight, the entire Police station fell into dead silence.
"God!"
A Police officer trembled, dropped to his knees, and began praying to Bai Ye in the sky.
Leon's sidearm clattered to the floor; he opened his mouth, but no sound came out.
Bai Ye and Ju Ziyun landed slowly in front of the station, the Bio-Force Field's downdraft kicking up dust.
"Are you gods?" Leon finally found his voice. Bai Ye's expression was calm as he surveyed the terrified Survivors and said in a low voice:
"To be precise, I am the god; the one next to me is merely my apostle."
Ju Ziyun rolled her eyes at the words but offered no rebuttal.
Bai Ye wasn't wrong—she had received the serum he provided, so she could indeed be counted as his apostle.
Claire summoned her courage and stepped forward. "Sorry, but even though you say that, I still find it hard to believe. Who exactly are you, and what are you here for?"
Ju Ziyun stood with arms folded, a playful smile on her lips. "Saving the World? Sounds pretty cliché."
Bai Ye looked at Claire and shook his head with a smile.
He raised a hand and snapped his fingers; ripples of gold spread outward.
The next second, every injured Survivor saw their wounds closing at a speed visible to the naked eye.
"This World is too chaotic; it reminds me of a scene from a certain World I once knew."
"Given what happened last time, this time I'm going to re-establish order."
Bai Ye's gaze swept past the station toward Umbrella Corporation, transmitting his spur-of-the-moment idea.
Compared with the autonomy of the previous Worlds, this Universe is essentially a blank slate.
Using it as a new stronghold means that, should anything go wrong later, it can serve as a temporary safe house.
Leon's body shook as countless thoughts flashed through his mind.
Watching the man who had effortlessly crushed the Zombie tide, he realized that the fate of Raccoon City—no, the fate of the entire World—had changed at this very moment.
Realizing this, Leon stared at Bai Ye, brows knitted tight.
"Why are you doing this? What do you gain by ruling this World?"
Bai Ye smiled. "This isn't the place to talk. Let's go inside."
Leon and Claire exchanged glances, hesitated, then turned to lead them into the station.
Bai Ye and Ju Ziyun followed, their combat boots crunching over broken glass and dried blood.
The Bio-Force Field kept all filth at bay, making them seem out of place in the ruined station.
Under the Survivors' adoring gazes, Bai Ye followed Leon into his office.
After shutting the door, Leon motioned for them to sit.
Bai Ye remained standing and said flatly, "Ask whatever you want."
Leon took a deep breath, exchanged a look with Claire, and finally spoke.
"Who exactly are you, and why do you want to rule this World?"
Instead of answering, Bai Ye countered, "Shouldn't you first ask what has actually happened to this World?"
Leon froze. "What do you mean?"
Bai Ye glanced around, then sat down in the chair behind the desk.
Ju Ziyun leaned against the wall, arms folded, looking as if none of it concerned her.
"All of you are just test subjects," Bai Ye said slowly after some thought.
Claire's pupils shrank. "What?"
"This entire disaster originated with Umbrella Corporation," Bai Ye continued calmly.
"You should be familiar with that company."
Leon frowned. "Of course I'm familiar with it; before the outbreak it was one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the World. But what does that have to do with the virus?"
"A great deal," Bai Ye replied with a smile.
"Behind closed doors they researched viruses; the executives wanted to evolve humanity, but the price is that most people became walking corpses."
"The source of the outbreak is beneath this very station," Bai Ye said, eyes on the floor.
"A scientist named William Birkin developed a serum, which ultimately led to the virus leak."
Chapter 175
Leon and Claire's expressions changed drastically, they found this news hard to accept.
"We're just lab rats?" Claire's voice trembled.
"That's right," Bai Ye nodded.
"However, these viruses aren't all bad."
"What do you mean?" Leon immediately became alert upon hearing this.
"Viruses accelerate human evolution, but the price is becoming a zombie, a price most people can't afford." Bai Ye stood up.
"But all of this is unimportant now, because next, I will solve all the problems."
Leon stared at him intently: "What do you plan to do?"
Bai Ye shrugged: "It's simple."
"Cure the zombies, destroy the Umbrella Corporation, deal with those who oppose me, and then, establish a new order."
Everyone was stunned, Leon and Claire exchanged glances.
Leon took a deep breath, staring at Bai Ye with a complicated expression: "Why must you establish a new order?"
Bai Ye smiled slightly: "No reason, because I want to."
His voice was calm, yet it left no room for doubt.
"Moreover, no one can stop me, and no one will stop me."
Hearing this, Leon was completely stunned.
Claire frowned: "Are you that confident?"
Ju Ziyun crossed her arms and glanced at them lazily: "Don't ask so many questions, he won't harm you."
Bai Ye still smiled, as if everything was under control.
Leon and Claire exchanged glances, and finally, Leon asked in a deep voice: "Then what do you plan to do?"
Bai Ye stood up and said in a relaxed tone: "The method is simple."
"But before that, I'll save someone first."
"Save who?" Claire was a little puzzled, who would need Bai Ye to personally save them.
"A little girl."
As soon as he finished speaking, the floor beneath Bai Ye's feet suddenly twisted.
In an instant, it turned into a pitch-black shadow, spreading out like an abyss.
Leon and Claire widened their eyes, watching Bai Ye's body slowly sink, as if being swallowed by darkness.
"He disappeared?!" Claire's voice trembled.
Leon looked sharply at Ju Ziyun: "Is he really a god?"
Ju Ziyun shrugged and said bluntly: "Wasn't it made very clear to you? He is a god!"
"Although this power of his is also the first time I've seen it."
Leon and Claire were speechless at Ju Ziyun's remarks.
Are you really his apostle? Why are you so low?
Underground Passage
In the dim corridor, the sound of water dripping from the pipes echoed.
A little girl curled up behind a cardboard box in the corner, tightly holding a worn teddy bear in her arms.
Her golden hair was messy, her face was covered in dust, and her blue eyes were full of fear.
"Drip, drip."
Heavy footsteps came from a distance, accompanied by a low growl.
Sherry Birkin held her breath, her small hand tightly covering her mouth, afraid to make a sound.
Suddenly, the shadow in front of her began to wriggle.
The darkness on the floor surged like liquid, slowly rising.
Sherry shrank back in terror, watching a man slowly rise from the shadows.
The man was wearing a black windbreaker, surrounded by a faint golden light, like a god walking out of mythology.
"Don't be afraid," Bai Ye reached out his hand, his voice gentle.
"I'm here to save you."
Sherry trembled, hesitated for a few seconds, and finally carefully stretched out her small hand.
Bai Ye picked her up and whispered, "Close your eyes."
Sherry obediently closed her eyes, and the next second, darkness enveloped again, and the figures of the two merged into the shadows like ink.
Soon, on the floor of the police station office, the darkness surged again.
Leon, Claire and Ju Ziyun took a step back at the same time, watching Bai Ye holding Sherry rise vertically from the shadows.
The golden light dissipated, Bai Ye stood firmly on the floor, the little girl in his arms still tightly closed her eyes, her little hands tightly grasping his collar.
"You can open your eyes now," Bai Ye said softly.
Sherry slowly opened her eyes, saw the unfamiliar environment, and instinctively shrank back into Bai Ye's arms.
Claire looked at this scene in shock, and subconsciously asked: "What were you just doing?"
Bai Ye explained casually: "Shadow Shuttle, just a small ability."
Leon: ... Good fellow, you call this a small ability?!
Ju Ziyun sized up Sherry with interest: "Is this child Sherry?"
Bai Ye smiled slightly: "That's right, Sherry Birkin."
Leon and Claire were shocked at the same time, remembering someone Bai Ye had mentioned before: "This is William Birkin's daughter?!"
Bai Ye nodded: "That's right, and..."
He paused, looked at Sherry in his arms, and revealed a blockbuster message:
"In her body, there are native antibodies to the G-virus."
Leon heard this and was about to ask about the G-virus and native antibodies when the office door was suddenly pushed open.
A police Officer rushed in, shouting:
"Officer Leon! Our field team found a few more survivors, they..."
His voice stopped abruptly because he saw Bai Ye and Ju Ziyun standing in the room.
The police Officer widened his eyes and asked suspiciously: "Who are these two?"
Leon quickly adjusted his expression and said in a deep voice: "Bring them in first."
But Bai Ye stood up at this moment, his gaze passing over the police Officer and looking outside the door: "No need, we'll talk about anything later."
He stepped out, and Ju Ziyun followed lazily.
Leon and Claire exchanged glances and followed.
In the hall, several new survivors were being settled by other police Officers, and one woman in particular was eye-catching.
She was wearing a dark red high-slit cheongsam, with short black hair and a very delicate and glamorous face.
Without much thought, this attire was none other than the famous Ada Wong in Resident Evil, one of the true gods of the 3D district.
Ada Wong was leaning against the wall at this time, arms crossed, scanning the situation inside the police station until her eyes met Bai Ye's.
The two's eyes met in the air, and Ada's brow furrowed almost imperceptibly.
This man is not right.
Ada Wong's intuition has always been very accurate, and at this moment, her instinct is frantically warning her... danger!
Bai Ye just glanced at her lightly, with a faint smile on the corner of his mouth.
It really is her.
Ju Ziyun noticed Bai Ye's gaze, followed it, and raised her eyebrows: "Is that Ada Wong?"
Bai Ye: "That's right."
Leon stepped forward and said to Ada and the other survivors: "You guys rest here first, we..."
At this time, Bai Ye stepped forward and interrupted Leon: "Leon."
Leon turned his head, wondering, "What?"
Bai Ye's gaze swept over Ada and returned to Leon: "Now, let's go do something else first."
"What is it?" Claire asked.
Bai Ye said something shocking in a calm tone:
"First, have your people kill the Director in the office."
"What?!" Leon's pupils shrank, and he was completely dumbfounded.
"He has been cooperating with Umbrella, secretly making serum."
Bai Ye explained the reason lightly: "The underground laboratory in your police station was approved by him."
The other police Officers' expressions changed drastically, and their fists clenched suddenly.
Leon was equally shocked, but soon, he gritted his teeth and said in a low voice:
"I knew it, when Jack told me before, I felt that the police station's material mobilization was not right recently!"
Leon did not hesitate and immediately turned to order a police Officer next to him:
"Take two people to the Director's office and kill him!"
Although the police Officer was shocked, he quickly carried out the order.
In the crowd, Ada Wong narrowed her eyes slightly, silently recording this information.
Bai Ye looked at Leon, Claire, Ju Ziyun and Sherry and said: "Next, let's strengthen you."
"Strengthen?" Claire asked in confusion.
Bai Ye didn't explain, just stretched out his hand, and the shadows under his feet suddenly spread like living things, and the dark shadow power wrapped around the few people.
"Don't resist."
The next second, their bodies sank into the water, vertically downward into the darkness.
The survivors in the police station hall watched this scene dumbfounded, a few big living people disappeared out of thin air!
Bai Ye also followed closely, sinking into the shadows... Umbrella Underground Laboratory.
The darkness surged, and Bai Ye brought the figures of the four people from the shadows.
The lights in the laboratory were pale, the equipment was intact, but the air was filled with a stench.
In the corner, a mutated zombie was tearing apart the body of a researcher, and suddenly looked up after hearing the movement.
"Bang!"
Ju Ziyun didn't even lift her hand, Telekinesis directly crushed its head.
Leon looked around in shock and said: "This is the underground laboratory of the police station?"
Chapter 176
Bai Ye walked to the lab bench, picked up a research report, and Super Vision scanned it in an instant.
He casually grabbed a few remaining serum samples, data streams flickering in his eyes.
"You understand this stuff?" Leon stared in disbelief.
Without looking back, Bai Ye said, "Didn't I tell you I'm a god? Isn't it normal for me to know this?"
Ju Ziyun shot Leon a glance. "You can watch quietly—stop acting so shocked."
The witch said so, forgetting that she herself had been just as much of a country bumpup moments earlier.
Claire beside her also looked at Leon with clear disgust.
Leon: "..."
He shut up awkwardly and stood to the side with Sherry, silently watching Bai Ye work.
A few minutes later… the instrument in front of Bai Ye beeped and stopped; a dozen serums glowing with faint golden light lined up neatly on the tray.
"Done."
Leon stepped forward, picked up a vial, and asked in shock and confusion:
"This fast, you've produced a serum that can turn an ordinary human into a super-human?"
Bai Ye's face showed a trace of disdain. "If this machine weren't so slow, it would've been even faster."
"After the injection, your physical stats will increase nearly a hundredfold—reaction speed, strength, defense will all break human limits."
"Want to try?"
Leon stared at the liquid in the tube, took a deep breath, accepted it without hesitation, and jabbed the needle into his arm.
"Ugh!"
Agony swept through his body in an instant; his muscles tensed, veins bulged, faint golden patterns flowing beneath his skin.
A few seconds later the pain faded, replaced by a sense of power he'd never felt before. (Wang Lizhao)
Leon slowly rose, clenched his fist, then smashed it hard into the floor.
BOOM!!
The concrete exploded, spider-web cracks spreading across the entire lab.
He stared at his fist in shock, then looked up at Bai Ye. "It… it's actually real!"
Bai Ye chuckled and ignored Leon. He picked up another vial, crouched in front of Sherry, and asked, "Want to get strong like this uncle?"
Sherry blinked her big eyes and nodded hard. "Yes!"
"Close your eyes!"
Sherry obeyed at once; Bai Ye gently injected the serum into her arm.
"Ah!"
The little girl cried out in pain, but soon her body began to glow softly, the blue veins beneath her skin gradually turning gold.
A few seconds later Sherry opened her eyes, jumped up excitedly, and shouted:
"I feel it! I'm super strong now!"
Seeing both Leon and little Sherry succeed, Claire finally stepped forward. "I want the injection too."
Bai Ye handed her a vial. "Welcome to the new World."
Without hesitation Claire injected the serum into her arm.
Agony swept through her, but soon an unprecedented surge of strength welled up from every limb.
Claire instinctively clenched her fist; the air actually popped in her palm.
"This is what being strong feels like?"
She stared at her hands in disbelief, fingertips exerting slight force that easily crumpled a metal table corner.
Bai Ye smiled faintly, utterly confident. "That's why no one can refuse me."
Leon stared at Bai Ye, suddenly understood something, and asked:
"You plan to reward supporters with this serum?"
"No." Bai Ye shook his head, swept his gaze across everyone, and stated plainly, "It's for every single person."
"Every single person?"
Ju Ziyun raised an eyebrow, extremely curious about Bai Ye's reason.
"Exactly."
Bai Ye's voice was calm and firm as he declared:
"I want every person in my World to be injected with this serum."
"To build an absolutely high-combat civilization."
Leon, Claire, and Ju Ziyun froze in unison.
A nation of supermen? It already exceeded their wildest imaginations.
Leon drew a deep breath. "What do we do next?"
Bai Ye stood up. "Go up first."
Shadow Power surged again; pitch-black energy wrapped around them like a tide… Police Station Lobby
Inside the lobby, the survivors waited in fear and anxiety.
Ada Wong stood in a corner, eyes sweeping around, fingertips quietly tapping a concealed button on her Communicator.
She needed to get the intel back to her organization—about that man in black and the ability he'd just displayed.
Just as Ada Wong prepared to move, ripples of darkness suddenly spread across the floor.
Everyone recoiled in shock, watching as several figures slowly rose from the shadow.
Bai Ye, Ju Ziyun, Leon, Claire, and Sherry—held by Leon—reappeared before the crowd.
"They... they came out of the floor?!" an officer stammered.
Ada's pupils shrank; she whipped her hand from the comm and faked shock.
Bai Ye swept the hall, then told Ju Ziyun, "Hold the fort with these people."
Leon frowned. "Where are you going?"
Bai Ye smiled faintly, a chill flashing in his eyes.
"To wipe out the Umbrella Corporation—and a few bugs."
Before the words faded he dissolved into smoke, reappeared outside the station, and vanished into the night.
Golden light flared beyond the windows; everyone stared upward, dumbstruck.
Ju Ziyun sighed. "Don't freeze, Leon. Get people and barricade."
Leon snapped back, nodding, yet his gaze still tracked the direction Bai Ye had left.
High above the clouds, Bai Ye's Super Vision pierced the sky and locked onto Umbrella's headquarters on the far side of the city.
The iconic red-and-white umbrella spire was now wrapped in layered energy shields—maximum alert.
"Last-ditch struggle."
He rocketed forward, a black meteor ripping the night toward his target.
Umbrella Branch
Bai Ye flashed into the lab; zombies hadn't time to react before crimson Heat Vision turned them to ash.
Several white-coated researchers cowered in a corner, staring at the sudden intruder.
"Who are you?!" a middle-aged man asked, voice trembling.
Bai Ye didn't answer; he simply flicked a hand and sliced open a golden Portal.
Through it lay the station's lobby—Ju Ziyun, Leon and the rest mid-discussion.
"Go," Bai Ye said flatly to the researchers.
The scientists exchanged glances, hesitating.
He couldn't be bothered; Telekinesis seized one and hurled him through.
After tossing the rest, he turned and strolled from the lab.
Hovering outside the branch tower, Bai Ye regarded the monument to human greed and madness.
"Pity—only a branch. Be destroyed."
A miniature Sun blazed into life above his palm.
In an instant the building slagged floor by floor; steel melted, concrete vaporised.
Machines detonated in pillars of fire that painted the night blood-red.
In less than a second the lab that once controlled countless fates became rubble.
Bai Ye hung in the air, eyes cold. "Next—the headquarters."
Eavesdropping on the Clouds Game—activate!
In a flash the entire Earth unfolded inside his mind.
Europe—zombie tides everywhere.
Asia—mutants rampaged through the streets.
Africa—survivor camps in the desert besieged by hordes.
The Americas—amid New York's skyscrapers, helicopter wreckage still burned.
His Divine Talent tallied the living: fewer than five hundred million.
The plot had diverged; originally only Raccoon City should be infected.
Now the virus blanketed the whole Planet.
The Madman Group was clearly behind it.
From prior Universes Bai Ye roughly knew what they wanted.
Marvel Universe—find the Deadpool who can breach the fourth wall.
Pacific Rim Universe—acquire kaiju-manufacturing tech.
Sony Spider-Verse—abduct a horde of Spider-Men to lure Deadpool.
The Witch Universe and this Bio-verse—secure gene-boost serums and test zombies plus humanoid robots akin to Sentinels.
Broadly, their creed splits into camps:
One: use Deadpool to cross the fourth wall and kill Marvel's editors.
Two: plunder power across Worlds to grow strong enough to smash the fourth wall outright.
Three—constantly sow chaos, ruin Universes, trigger a Multiverse-level crisis and annihilate these false realities.
The third is Bai Ye's speculation, but not without basis.
By Deadpool's own words, those guys are crazier than he is.
Realising they're designed puppets, total destruction doesn't seem impossible.
Much like Storius, Saber's final boss.
Chapter 177
After realizing that all the poems he created were bestowed upon him by the all-knowing and all-powerful Book of All Knowledge, he completely collapsed, wanting to drag the entire World into destruction.
There are too many such extreme characters in the Marvel Universe.
After a simple guess, Bai Ye directly locked onto all Umbrella facilities worldwide.
Headquarters, laboratories, secret Bases, and even those shelters hidden deep in the sea and polar regions.
Then Bai Ye's figure suddenly disappeared, and the next second he appeared, he was already standing on the top floor of the Umbrella Building in New York.
The board members were in an emergency meeting when suddenly, the bulletproof glass shattered, and a man in black descended like the God of Death.
"Who are you?!"
The CEO roared, pressing the alarm, but Bai Ye just raised his hand.
Erjiujiu ?〝Introducing?Six]〧Boom!!
The entire building exploded from within, flames shot into the sky, and the steel framework twisted and disintegrated in the high temperature.
Bai Ye did not stop, disappearing again via spatial teleportation.
However, this time Bai Ye did not go anywhere else but directly came to the sky above the Earth.
A small golden Sun once again appeared behind Bai Ye.
"Light of the Sun!"
As Bai Ye's voice fell, the Sun burst forth with dazzling light.
Immediately, countless Sun beams gushed out from the Light of the Sun behind Bai Ye, sending warmth to Umbrella Bases in every corner of the Earth.
Antarctic Base.
In the secret laboratory beneath the ice, a dozen high-ranking officials were celebrating the success of the New World Project.
Suddenly, the entire ceiling of this secret laboratory melted.
These high-ranking officials hadn't even had time to experience the New World before they turned into dust under the illumination of the Light of the Sun.
Deep Sea Fortress.
At the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, inside a spherical building, the last scientists were observing virus spread data.
"Warning! Detecting ultra-high energy reaction!"
The next second, the entire structure melted under the Light of the Sun.
The surrounding seawater was evaporated, leaving a large empty space with this one strike.
It took a long time for the seawater to fill this empty space.
A few seconds later, the global purge was complete.
Bai Ye reappeared above Raccoon City, and the Light of the Sun behind him gradually extinguished.
"All Umbrella strongholds, cleared."
Eavesdropping on the Clouds Game captured the exclamations and appearances of survivors around the World.
On the satellite live broadcast, those red and white Umbrella logos, symbolizing humanity's nightmare, disappeared one by one.
Soon, Bai Ye landed on the Police station rooftop, where Leon and others had been waiting for a long time.
Looking at the few people in front of him, Bai Ye's voice was calm but undeniable.
"Umbrella no longer exists."
Bai Ye looked at the rising Sun in the distance, his expression calm.
"Now... it's time to establish a new order."
"So what do we do now?" Leon subconsciously rubbed his arm.
Bai Ye walked towards the shattered French window, the night wind lifting his magic cloak.
"First, let all survivors witness the descent of a God."
As his voice fell, Bai Ye floated up and flew out of the window.
Ju Ziyun quickly rushed to the window, only to see Bai Ye floating high in the sky, his pupils suddenly turning pure gold.
Bai Ye's eyes were slightly closed, and the energy in his body surged like a tsunami.
He slowly spread his arms, and golden energy ripples centered around him, spreading like waves across the entire Earth. moon7*near>Chao Qi Lu Jiu!z as well as(three)8 sulfur
Eavesdropping on the Clouds Game had already locked onto all survivors.
Bai Ye's consciousness instantly covered every corner of the Earth.
People hiding in the underground shelter in Pengcheng.
JK girls curled up in the Tokyo subway tunnel.
Soldiers barely surviving in a deserted hospital in London.
Tribes fighting with Beasts for food on the African savanna.
[God's Ten Billion magic Myriad Incarnations y//*ue-Already dead(six)Fin-shaped dam]
Bai Ye formed hand seals, and an ancient magic array lit up beneath his feet.
"Light of the Divine, grant hope to all beings."
The next second, Bai Ye's body erupted with golden light, and countless brilliant beams of light burst from within him, traversing space and descending upon every survivor.
In a certain underground shelter, several armed men were dragging a girl by her hair.
"F*ck! Everyone move!"
The scar-faced leader yelled, raising his shotgun, "It's the apocalypse now, and I am God!"
An uncle tried to step forward but was shot in the thigh, screaming and falling to the ground.
"Another word, and the next shot is your head!"
The girl struggled in despair, tears blurring her vision.
0 0 ...Suddenly, the entire underground space was filled with golden light!
Everyone instinctively closed their eyes, and when they opened them again, they saw a man in black combat attire floating in mid-air, radiating a sacred golden glow.
"Wh-what is that?!" The Scar-faced man raised his gun in horror.
Bai Ye's avatar merely glanced at him.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Several thugs fell to the ground simultaneously, their pupils dilated, lifeless.
"I have come to save you."
Bai Ye's voice echoed in the silent Underground Room.
"This World has rotted, and this God will lead the survivors to rebuild civilization."
Upon hearing this, someone immediately knelt down, trembling, and pointed to the exit: "My Lord, outside..."
Bai Ye waved his hand, and the concrete wall was torn open like paper.
In the blinding sunlight, thousands of zombies roared and charged.
Just as the survivors screamed and recoiled, Bai Ye lightly snapped his fingers.
"Perish!"
All the zombies turned into a pile of sand and vanished into thin air.
In the following time, the same scene played out across the World.
Pengcheng, Paris subway station, London hospital, Africa, the North Pole... Bai Ye brought down miracles in every corner of the Earth.
After performing miracles before the remaining humans, Bai Ye's myriad avatars transformed into streaks of light and returned to his main body.
He floated above Raccoon City, his eyes slightly closed, energy surging within him like a galaxy.
"It's time."
Bai Ye formed hand seals, and an ancient voice echoed in the void.
"Light of Purification."
In an instant, a huge golden magic array split the sky, covering the entire firmament.
Runes flowed, energy gathered, and Bai Ye slowly raised his right hand, then brought it down abruptly!
"Purify the World!"
A golden pillar of light descended from the magic array, enveloping the Earth like divine punishment.
In Tokyo, zombies wandering the streets turned to ash in the golden light.
In Paris, mutated creatures gnawing on corpses silently annihilated.
In New York, survivors trapped in high-rise buildings watched the tide of corpses outside their windows dissipate like dust "737".
Wherever the golden light passed, all creatures infected with the T-virus, whether zombies, Lickers, or Tyrants, were completely obliterated.
London Underground Shelter.
A group of survivors huddled in a dark air-raid shelter when suddenly, dazzling golden light seeped through the cracks.
"Outside, no sound?"
They trembled as they pushed open the sealed iron door, and blinding sunlight streamed in.
The streets were empty, no zombies, no roars, only silent wind.
"Is it... over?"
All the survivors knelt on the ground, tears streaming down their faces.
Raccoon City
On the Police station rooftop, Leon, Claire, Ju Ziyun, and Sherry looked up at Bai Ye in the sky.
The golden light gradually dissipated, and the sky returned to clarity. A gentle breeze swept away the last vestiges of the apocalypse.
"He really is a God!" Leon exclaimed once again at this moment.
Ju Ziyun also stared blankly at Bai Ye, stating directly: "I... I told you so long ago, it's a pity you didn't believe me."
Bai Ye slowly descended, his combat boots lightly touching the ground. He looked around at everyone, his gaze calm.
"The zombies have been cleared, but the World has not yet been rebuilt."
He waved his hand, and a holographic projection of global survivor strongholds appeared in the air.
"In a few days, the leaders of all strongholds will bring the survivors to Raccoon City through my Portal."
"At that time."
Bai Ye's voice was not loud, but it echoed in everyone's ears.
"A new era will officially begin."
...New Era, Global Unification
The destruction of the zombies led to a brief period of global euphoria, but soon, ambitious individuals began to stir.
Warlords, financial groups, armed organizations, and various survivor factions declared themselves kings, attempting to establish their own rule on the ruins.
Chapter 178
Yet the instant they moved, every faction was obliterated.
Bai Ye's avatars flickered into every major stronghold on the planet.
Dictators cowering in nuclear bunkers, warlords leading armored legions—before him they were nothing but ants.
Heat Vision pierced steel fortresses; Telekinesis crushed armies.
Soon the last resister fell, and Bai Ye's voice rang across the World through magic.
"A new order is about to be built; all humanity will be reborn."
Survivors gazed at the golden light in the sky and finally understood.
A god had descended on this World… One day later, delegates from every continent stepped through the Portals Bai Ye had opened and arrived in a completely renewed Raccoon City.
Once-ruined streets now gleamed; a towering white parliament hall stood at the city's heart, ringed by barriers that shimmered with flowing light.
The delegates entered the grand conference hall; Bai Ye already sat at the head, his calm gaze sweeping over them.
"Welcome to the starting point of the New Nation."
The Europa delegate drew a careful breath. "What exactly is this new order you speak of?"
Bai Ye raised a hand; a hologram appeared above the table—a unified map of Earth with two huge characters floating at its center.
New Nation.
"There can be only one nation, one order."
His voice brooked no dissent. "No borders, no divisions—humanity will exist as one."
The Asia delegate frowned. "But what of different cultures, resources, ways of life?"
"They're no longer problems."
Bai Ye waved; a fingertip tapped the tabletop.
Shhk!
Dozens of Serums glowing with golden fluorescence appeared in mid-air.
"What are these?" The Asia delegate cautiously lifted one.
"Enhancement Serum."
Bai Ye spoke calmly to the leaders.
"After injection, your bodies will improve a hundredfold—extended lifespan, immunity to disease, even resistance to nuclear radiation…"
The hall fell dead silent.
The North America delegate swallowed. "You mean… all four billion surviving humans can gain this power?"
"Not can—must."
Bai Ye's gaze swept every face. "The New Nation will not tolerate weakness, nor allow anyone to be born inferior."
"Universal superhumans—that is the future."
The delegates exchanged glances, then every hand lifted a Serum and injected without hesitation.
Agony, searing heat, metamorphosis!
Moments later they opened their eyes, feeling torrential power surge within.
One man crushed a metal table-corner with ease; another found his thoughts racing dozens of times faster; yet another could see microbes drifting in the air.
"This… this is incredible!"
Bai Ye rose; behind him a vast hologram showed factories and laboratories being rebuilt across the globe.
"The first batch of a hundred thousand Serums is already in production; every scientist will be centrally assigned."
"In a few days, every one of the four billion survivors will evolve."
The delegates dropped to one knee, right hands on their chests—the New Nation's highest salute.
"We obey the divine decree!"
Bai Ye inclined his head slightly, gaze turning to the horizon.
Days later, Raccoon City—now officially Central City 1.4 of the New Nation—had fully regained its prosperity.
Such was the effect of superhumans and high technology.
Skyscrapers rose in clusters, streets were immaculate, energy barriers shimmered faintly under the Sun; the entire city looked like a slice of the future.
Bai Ye stood at the floor-to-ceiling window of the supreme executive hall, overlooking the newborn metropolis.
Ju Ziyun stood beside him, black hair drifting in the faint breeze.
"After today, all humanity will have received the Serum."
Ju Ziyun studied the data on the hologram. "The final recipients are being enhanced at the central medical center right now."
Bai Ye nodded. This batch was his mass-produced force, prepared for the anomalous disasters the Madman Group would unleash in the future.
After all, Bai Ye spent most of his time hopping between universes; this superhuman legion could handle the small fry for him.
Several days later
Inside the holographic conference room, Leon, Claire, Sherry, and the Governors of the World's seven continents stood at attention.
Bai Ye sat at the head, fingertips drumming the table as a three-dimensional Earth appeared in mid-air.
"Your task is simple—only three objectives!"
"Develop, research, expand."
Bai Ye's fingers traced the orbit of Mars across the Universe.
"Within two years, I want to see the first interstellar mining fleet depart."
The projection switched, revealing even more distant star systems.
"Within ten years, the banner of New Nation must be planted across the entire Solar System."
At this moment, Leon stepped forward and reported to Bai Ye,
"Following your orders, we have consolidated the World's scientific forces; research on the next-generation Serum has begun, aiming to break through the current hundred-fold enhancement ceiling."
Claire added, "High-tech construction is ahead of schedule and is expected to be operational in twenty-three months."
Bai Ye nodded in satisfaction and said bluntly, "Remember, your goal is not merely to survive, but to conquer."
He stood up, eyes blazing: "One day, I will return."
"When that day comes, I expect to find a civilization ready to march across the Universe."
All Governors dropped to one knee, right fists to chests: "We swear to follow you to the death!"
Seeing the initial situation settled, Bai Ye nodded in satisfaction.
What this explosive troop-building effort would ultimately amount to was anyone's guess.
In any case, it was merely a casual move Bai Ye had set down; if it flourished, great—if not, so be it.
After wrapping things up, Bai Ye turned to Ju Ziyun beside him and asked, "Ready?"
Ju Ziyun smiled. "I've been waiting impatiently."
Bai Ye nodded, raised his hand, and tore open a Portal; ripples of unfamiliar energy emanated from the golden spatial rift.
Leon couldn't help stepping forward. "You're really leaving?"
Bai Ye glanced back at the city he had personally created and chuckled softly,
"Only for a while. Remember your mission."
With that, Bai Ye stepped into the Portal, Ju Ziyun right behind him.
When the golden light faded, Leon stared at the empty hall for a long time, then finally took a deep breath, turned, and ordered everyone,
"Carry out the commands at once. The future of New Nation starts now!"
Claire gazed at the brilliant starry sky outside the window and murmured, "A god…"
The Portal's golden light dispersed; Bai Ye and Ju Ziyun stood atop a crumbling skyscraper.
The sky was overcast, smoke filled the air, and the entire city looked as if it had been torn apart by some terrifying force.
Before them, two figures hovered high in the sky.
The pair collided again and again; with every clash of fists, buildings within a kilometer were shredded like paper.
Bai Ye recognized both figures at a glance.
One was Omni-Man, Nolan Grayson.
His combat suit covered him head to toe, and his muscular frame still radiated terrifying pressure; every punch he threw produced a sonic boom.
The other was Mark Grayson, his young face filled with anger and pain.
His power was inferior to his father's, his fighting skills raw, yet he kept trying to break through Nolan's defense.
Watching this familiar father-son battle, Bai Ye chuckled,
"This familiar scene—so this is the World of Invincible."
Ju Ziyun raised an eyebrow. "Should we intervene?"
Bai Ye didn't answer; instead, he stepped into the air and walked toward the center of the battlefield.
"Boom!!"
Nolan smashed Mark into the ground with a single punch, rubble flying everywhere.
He hovered in the air, looking down coldly at his son.
"Still don't get it? Humanity is destined to be ruled by a higher civilization!"
Mark struggled to his feet, blood at his lips, and shouted, "Then kill me first!"
Just as Nolan prepared to strike his disappointing son again—"Excuse me."
A calm voice came from above.
Father and son both looked up to see a black-haired man standing between them, feet on nothing yet as steady as on solid ground.
Nolan's pupils shrank. "Who are you?"
Bai Ye didn't reply; he simply surveyed the devastation around them. "You two are making too much noise."
Mark wiped the blood from his mouth and urged, "Get out of here! This isn't a fight you can join!"
Hearing Mark's concern, Bai Ye smiled and nodded.
"Boom!!"
Nolan's fist suddenly shot toward Bai Ye's face!
Yet the punch froze three inches from Bai Ye's nose, as though it had struck an invisible wall.
"What?!" Nolan's eyes widened in shock.
Bai Ye slowly raised his hand and snapped his fingers.
"Snap."
Nolan's body seized; every muscle spasmed uncontrollably. He knelt in mid-air in agony, veins bulging!
Chapter 179
"Father!"
Mark instinctively wanted to rush forward, but Bai Ye firmly pressed down on his shoulder.
"Don't rush, little friend. Watch closely and see what true power is."
Then, Bai Ye put one hand in his pocket and loosely held the other hand.
Nolan's body uncontrollably floated up, his limbs forcibly pulled apart by an invisible Force, like a prisoner being tortured.
"The Vitruvian physique is quite good indeed." A crimson light lit up in Bai Ye's eyes.
"But before a true god, you are nothing."
"Sizzle, boom!!!"
As his voice fell, Bai Ye's Heat Vision pierced through Nolan's chest.
"Ahhh!!"
This once invincible warrior let out a tragic scream, and blood rained down.
Mark was completely stunned by this sight, saying in disbelief, "No, impossible!"
His father, that monster who could sink warships with his bare hands, was currently being crushed like an ant!
Bai Ye retracted his Heat Vision, leaving a horrifying charred hole in Nolan's chest.
But the tenacious vitality of the Vitruvian prevented him from dying; he merely twitched in pain.
"Now."
After dealing with Nolan, Bai Ye turned his gaze to Mark beside him.
"It's your turn."
Mark trembled all over and instinctively adopted a fighting stance.
"Commendable courage."
Looking at Mark's foolish appearance, Bai Ye smiled and shook his head.
"Don't worry, I have no interest in abusing children."
Then, Bai Ye raised his hand and waved, and Nolan's body slammed into the distant mountain range like a cannonball, causing a massive explosion.
Watching Bai Ye brutally beat his father, Mark finally couldn't bear it and shouted, "Let him go!!"
After speaking, Mark rushed straight over. Bai Ye didn't even turn his head, delivering a backhand slap.
"Slap!"
Mark flew backward at a speed faster than when he rushed in.
He barely managed to stop after consecutively smashing through several large mountains, his mouth full of blood.
"I originally didn't want to bully a child, but you insisted on coming forward for a beating," Bai Ye said irritably, retracting his hand.
Nolan struggled to raise his head, and fear finally surfaced in his eyes: "Who exactly are you?"
Bai Ye glanced down at him and stated bluntly, "Someone who will make you understand what humility is."
After speaking, Bai Ye grabbed Nolan's head and violently smashed it into the ground.
"Boom!!!"
The entire city shook violently, and the Impact overturned all the surrounding buildings.
When the smoke and dust cleared, Nolan lay half-dead in the center of the crater, every bone in his body shattered.
Mark struggled to crawl over, pleading with a trembling voice, "Stop, please!"
Bai Ye landed back on the ground, shaking his head dismissively.
"The Universe is vast. Don't think that just because you have a little power, you can arbitrarily decide the fate of Earth."
"Look at everything around you that was destroyed because of your fight. If it weren't for your kind warning just now, I would have dealt with you too."
Mark looked up, his eyes filled with humiliation and unwillingness, but even more so, a deep sense of powerlessness.
Then, Bai Ye looked at Nolan, who was collapsed on the ground, without a trace of pity, and said coldly, "Take me to your Planet."
Nolan lay on the ground, constantly coughing up blood, and sneered, "Impossible."
Bai Ye couldn't be bothered with nonsense. His eyes suddenly glowed with a faint blue light, using the power of the goat talisman to directly invade Nolan's brain!
"Ahhh!!"
Nolan let out a heartbreaking scream, and his memories flashed before Bai Ye's eyes like a revolving lantern.
The coordinates of Vitruvian Star, military layout, and Royal Secrets.
All information was instantly plundered and known by Bai Ye.
After figuring out the information, Bai Ye recovered the power of the goat talisman.
Nolan, meanwhile, slumped like mud, his pupils dilated, and drool uncontrollably flowing out.
"I see. Thank you~"
Bai Ye lifted Nolan by the neck with one hand, preparing to head to Vitruvian Star.
"Let go of my father!!"
Mark's roar came from behind. Bai Ye didn't turn his head, merely responding lightly, "Fine, just defeat me."
Mark was utterly enraged, his entire body tensed, and the ground cracked beneath his feet!
His speed broke its limit, his body turned into an afterimage, and his fist, carrying devastating power, smashed toward the back of Bai Ye's head.
However, in Bai Ye's eyes, Mark's speed was as slow as a crawling snail.
"Too weak."
Bai Ye casually raised his hand and accurately gripped Mark's throat.
"I gave you a chance because of your kindness just now, but killing you is also a sign of respect for you as an opponent."
After speaking, Bai Ye exerted force with his hand, and a crisp sound, "Crack!", was heard.
Mark's neck was instantly crushed, the light in his eyes extinguished, and his body slid weakly to the ground.
"No!!!"
Nolan's eyes were bloodshot. His severely injured body erupted with its final strength in extreme rage.
His muscles swelled, and veins bulged as he tried to briefly break free from Bai Ye's control!
"I want you dead!!"
Nolan's fist, carrying the strength of his lifetime, slammed toward Bai Ye's face. The air was compressed into plasma; this single strike was enough to sink a continental shelf.
Seeing this, Bai Ye merely glanced at him and tightened his grip slightly.
"Pfft!"
Nolan's head burst open like a blossoming watermelon, scattering its contents onto the ruins. The headless corpse swayed and crashed heavily to the ground.
"A waste of time."
Bai Ye felt no mercy for the two aliens.
Even for Mark earlier, Bai Ye had given him extra chances only because of his kind warning.
Unfortunately, Mark did not choose the correct option and repeatedly attacked him, so Bai Ye naturally had no reason to hold back.
After dealing with the alien father and son, Bai Ye raised his hand and cut open a Portal.
On the other side of the Portal, a dark red Planet clearly appeared.
The capital of Vitruvian Star was holding a celebration, completely unaware that doom was approaching.
"Time to clear the area."
Bai Ye, bringing Ju Ziyun, stepped into the Portal. Behind them lay two gradually cooling corpses.
Along with a city rendered completely silent by the fighting of the alien father and son.
Bai Ye and Ju Ziyun floated ten thousand meters in the air, directly above the capital of Vitruvian Star.
A magnificent city constructed of dark red metal, with towering spires piercing the clouds. The streets were filled with heavily muscled Vitruvian warriors.
However, at this moment, alarms blared throughout the city, and countless figures soared up from the buildings, swarming towards the two of them like a hive.
"Invaders!"
The leading warrior roared, his body covered in Biological Armor.
"State your identity!"
Bai Ye said calmly, "Don't you enjoy invading lower civilizations?"
His voice was not loud, yet it echoed like thunder across the entire Planet.
"Today, I will let you feel the despair of being invaded."
Hundreds of Vitruvian warriors charged simultaneously, their forms leaving dazzling streaks in the air.
Seeing this, Bai Ye merely glanced at them from afar.
Buzz!
An invisible Telekinesis Force Field instantly unfolded, and all the charging warriors froze simultaneously in mid-air.
It was as if a pause button had been pressed; their eyeballs rotated in terror, yet they couldn't move a single finger.
The Vitruvians watching below hadn't even reacted before they saw their compatriots in the sky begin to weather away.
Starting from their fingertips, their skin, muscles, and bones all turned into fine grains of sand, scattered by the high-altitude wind.
"What?!"
A Vitruvian warrior, watching this terrifying scene, was immediately scared into collapsing onto the ground.
Bai Ye landed in the Central Plaza, with Ju Ziyun following closely behind.
Three elite warriors wearing Royal Armor rushed forward.
"For the Empire!"
Looking at the three elite warriors rushing over, Bai Ye simply snapped his fingers.
Terrifying Telekinesis was directly applied to the three elite warriors.
The first elite warrior to charge bore the brunt, his chest cavity instantly shattered. The Telekinesis Impact directly pulverized the structures behind him.
The second warrior was struck by the residual wave of the Telekinesis Impact, and his head split open instantly.
The third warrior also suffered the residual attack, and his entire body was torn into pieces.
After easily dealing with the three elite warriors who didn't know their place, Bai Ye stated directly, "Does anyone else want to resist?"
Five more warriors rushed forward, unwilling to believe, but suddenly froze ten meters away from Bai Ye.
This time, Telekinesis directly twisted them into grotesque pretzel shapes, the sound of breaking bones like popping beans.
Seeing this scene, the plaza instantly fell into deadly silence.
Bai Ye chuckled upon seeing this: "It would have been better if you had done this earlier."
"Now, take me to see your King."
...Throne Hall
Bai Ye pushed open the ten-meter-high alloy door. Regent of Vitruvia, Trig, was seated upon the Biological Throne.
Chapter 180
His face was aged yet majestic, flanked by the last twelve Royal Guards.
"I guess."
Cuige's voice was hoarse and calm. "Nolan is already dead?"
Bai Ye walked straight toward the throne and shrugged. "You're smart."
The twelve guards struck simultaneously, but the moment they stepped forward they all collapsed and exploded.
Cuige looked at the blood splattered across his Royal Robe, gave a bitter smile, and said pragmatically, "State your terms."
"No terms."
Without another word Bai Ye grabbed him by the neck and lifted him up.
"I came only to deliver a notice."
"From today onward, this place is renamed the Xingu Colony Planet."
"Fine!"
Facing a threat to his life, even the ambitious Cuige could only nod quickly. Bai Ye turned to Ju Ziyun: "See? Our first alien territory."
Han stood at the giant floor-to-ceiling window of the throne hall, overlooking the Alien Capital that had just submitted.
In the streets, surviving Vitruvians knelt, afraid to raise their heads.
Ju Ziyun walked to his side, her black hair drifting gently in the alien wind.
"All this happened too fast," she said softly.
"A few days ago we were dealing with robots in the lab, and now we're standing on the ruins of an Alien Empire."
Bai Ye glanced at her and shrugged. "Not used to it?"
"It's not that." Ju Ziyun spoke quietly: "I just think you act too quickly—and never give a reason."
"The strong don't need reasons; they follow mood. Besides, I consider myself quite gentle."
Hearing her, Bai Ye defended himself solemnly.
"At least I gave them a choice before I acted."
Listening to Bai Ye's nonsense, Ju Ziyun glanced at the guard corpses on the steps.
Then she looked outside at the kneeling Vitruvian warriors and muttered, "You call this gentle?"
Bai Ye spread his hands and said coldly, "I've been gentle enough. After what Nolan showed, killing him ten-thousand times wouldn't be excessive."
Standing in the throne hall, Bai Ye turned to Cuige and asked: "On your Planet, are there any Vitruvianwarriors who suddenly became far stronger?"
Cuige knew at once what Bai Ye was after and, without hesitation, issued orders through his communicator.
Ju Ziyun tilted her head toward Bai Ye and asked curiously, "What are you planning?"
Bai Ye's lips curled slightly. He didn't tell the whole truth, but gave the obvious reason: "As a god who loves exploring the unknown, I can't ignore studying the genes of these alien beings."
Hearing that, Ju Ziyun nodded thoughtfully.
Soon a tall figure stepped into the great hall.
Covered in dark-red Bio-Armor, his muscles bulged and his eyes were sharp as blades.
Looking at the towering Vitruvian warrior, Bai Ye knew he'd found the right person.
The energy radiating from this man had surpassed the current strongest in the Universe—Regent Cuige.
Either he was a member of Deadpool's Madman Group, or someone modified by them.
The moment he entered he stared straight at Bai Ye and said fearlessly, "So you're the invader?"
Cuige spoke gravely: "This is the new king of the Planet. He summoned you, Carlos!"
Carlos sneered. "Unless he defeats me, I won't acknowledge him."
Bai Ye's interest was piqued. "You think you're strong?"
"At least not weaker than you." Carlos clenched his fists, battle-ready.
Bai Ye shook his head. "Pity—you don't have the strength to say that."
With that, Bai Ye merely glanced at Carlos.
Buzz!
An invisible force lifted Carlos and suspended him mid-air.
He struggled violently, muscles bulging, yet couldn't move even a finger.
"Any more questions?" Bai Ye asked calmly.
Carlos gritted his teeth and finally lowered his head. "None."
"Good. Now take me to your Laboratory," Bai Ye said flatly.
He could now confirm the man was most likely not a member of the Madman Group—just a Vitruvianmodified by them.
Talk about bad luck!
Of the several Universe coordinates Deadpool had provided, this was the last one.
Only two supposed members of the Madman Group had shown up.
And before they could even reveal themselves, Bai Ye's indiscriminate AoE attack wiped them out.
No wonder Deadpool ran—these guys really are weak.
Bai Ye, who had been a little worried they might breach the fourth wall, now felt no concern at all.
There was simply no way—these people struck Bai Ye as far too weak.
At most they'd trigger a universal crisis; managing a Multiverse crisis would already be impressive.
Under Carlos's guidance, Bai Ye and Ju Ziyun arrived at the most advanced genetics lab on Vitruvian Star.
All along the way, every warrior lowered his head and stepped aside; no one dared meet Bai Ye's gaze.
"What do you need?" Carlos asked.
Bai Ye's eyes flickered; Super Vision paired with Divine Talent instantly parsed Carlos's body structure.
His gene sequence, cell activity, energy metabolism—everything was laid bare.
"Draw a vial of your blood."
Without hesitation Carlos used a device to draw his own blood and handed the tube to Bai Ye.
Bai Ye took the vial, data streams flashing in his eyes.
"Interesting—someone in this gang is from the DC Universe? They actually want to fuse Kryptoniantraits—how amusing!"
"This tech has some substance—biotech fusion?"
Holding the blood, Bai Ye immediately set to work; his hands blurred as they danced among the instruments.
Minutes later, three tubes of golden-fluorescing Serum were complete.
"The first tube—for you." Bai Ye handed one to Ju Ziyun.
"I removed the Vitruvian need for food, replacing it with autonomous cosmic energy absorption, and…"
He paused, pointing at her eyes: "Added Heat Vision."
Ju Ziyun's eyes lit up. "Does that mean I can be like you?"
"Exactly."
She injected the Serum without hesitation, yet after a moment felt nothing and looked at Bai Ye in puzzlement.
"Almost forgot."
Bai Ye raised his head; telekinesis ripped the ceiling open.
Sunlight poured down onto Ju Ziyun.
"Ugh!!"
Ju Ziyun arched violently as every cell roared to life under stellar energy.
Golden veins surfaced beneath her skin; bones cracked, and her body began to levitate.
Suddenly her eyes blazed with crimson light.
"Zzz—boom!!"
Twin beams of Heat Vision shot skyward, piercing the clouds.
Outside, Vitruvian warriors stared in shock; they'd never seen energy released this way.
Ju Ziyun landed slowly, feeling the surging power, and smiled for the first time. "Thanks, oppa~"
Bai Ye chuckled. "Mine can't be weak."
He turned to Carlos and offered the second vial.
"This will push you past your limits, on one condition: govern this Planet for me."
Carlos gazed at the Serum greedily, dropped to one knee. "I swear loyalty unto death!"
After injecting it, his body evolved rapidly—eyes glowing red, muscle density doubling, speed skyrocketing!
"I'm stronger!"
Carlos stared at his hands in awe, easily bent a special steel bar, then knelt solemnly.
"My Lord, there is only one answer: I will serve you!"
When Bai Ye returned to the throne hall with Ju Ziyun, Cuige and the high command were already waiting.
"From today, this is a subsidiary Planet of the new kingdom."
Bai Ye handed the final vial to Carlos and instructed:
"He will govern in my stead. Mass-produce this Serum—everyone on the Planet must be injected!"
He swept his gaze across them. "Cease conquest; focus on evolution. I'll return unannounced to inspect."
All bowed, answering in unison: "We obey the divine decree!"
Satisfied, Bai Ye raised a hand and sliced open a Portal.
On the other side: his Villa on Earth.
"Let's go." He glanced at Ju Ziyun beside him.
Together they stepped through the Portal and vanished.
Carlos clutched the Serum, turned, and ordered: "Carry out the new king's will—immediately!"
…Marvel, the Bai Ye Universe!
A golden Portal opened; Bai Ye and Ju Ziyun stepped onto the Villa's threshold.
At that moment Bai Ye frowned and halted.
The reason was simple: the Villa was too quiet.
No lazy greeting from Wanda, no breeze as Susan flew in.
Not even the usually rowdy Dijiang drifted over to steal juice.
Chapter 181
At this moment, only three divine beasts were in the living room of the Villa.
Dijiang huddled in the corner of the sofa, its six tiny claws clutching an empty juice bottle.
The Phoenix stood on the chandelier, every feather bristling.
Ink Qilin blocked the stairway, its jade horn flashing a warning light.
Ju Ziyun entered combat mode; clearly she sensed something was wrong.
Bai Ye's eyes glowed gold, and the Eavesdropping on the Clouds Game spread instantly.
The next second, Bai Ye locked onto Manhattan, New York, through the game.
There, an abnormal surge of magic twisted the spatial structure, forming the entrance to a Mirror Dimension.
"Huh? That's Wanda's Mirror Magic," Bai Ye said, curious. "Someone's fighting them!"
Ju Ziyun frowned. Though unclear on the details, she still asked, "What do we do?"
"They're inside."
Bai Ye's Eavesdropping on the Clouds penetrated Wanda's Mirror Dimension and caught the sounds of battle.
"There's also a troublesome guy."
With those words, Bai Ye grabbed Ju Ziyun's shoulder and the two vanished instantly.
Moments later, Bai Ye and Ju Ziyun appeared above Manhattan, the streets below a scene of devastation.
News helicopters circled in the distance while reporters' panicked voices broadcast.
"Unbelievable—two female superheroes have just battled a golden-eyed monster, turning Midtown Manhattan into a warzone!"
Bai Ye glanced at the Mirror Dimension Wanda had created and snapped his fingers.
"Crack!"
The next second, space shattered like glass and a golden vortex appeared out of nowhere.
The instant the Mirror Dimension's exit opened, a wild torrent of energy blasted out.
Seeing what lay inside, Bai Ye narrowed his eyes.
"Sentinel? So it's the Void personality—no wonder."
The two stepped into the vortex, and the scene changed abruptly.
Scarlet Chaos Magic clashed madly with golden Impact blasts in the air.
The entire Mirror World twisted and tore like a shredded canvas.
Susan was smashed into the ground by Sentinel, but she instantly flew back up.
Superimposing Power Stone and Force Field energy, she fired a violet beam that collided with Sentinel's energy wave.
Wanda hovered mid-air, both hands guiding Chaos Magic in an attempt to bind Sentinel.
But the Void's power was too savage; in an instant it shattered Wanda's Chaos chains.
"You won't last much longer!"
Sentinel grinned, his eyes blazing with destructive gold.
"Let me crush you!"
Just as the Void-possessed Sentinel was about to unleash his full strike—"Boom!"
A foot suddenly stomped his face and sent him flying thousands of meters!
"Sorry to interrupt." Bai Ye retracted his leg, hovering in the air.
"Who said you could touch my people?"
Bai Ye stood amid the shattered Void, eyes glinting with cold light.
Sentinel—or the Void—climbed from the rubble, half his face caved in, black matter writhing as it repaired him.
"You sneak-attacked while I was away?"
Bai Ye's voice was low, his eyes glowing red.
The Void grinned, his mouth tearing to his ear: "Your woman? Too weak!"
"Bang!!"
Bai Ye appeared in front of him in a flash and drove a fist into his gut!
The Void Sentinel's spine folded; he shot backward like a cannonball, smashing through countless floating shattered continents.
Yet Bai Ye was faster, waiting on his trajectory and slamming another fist into his face!
"Crack!" The Void Sentinel's nose broke on the spot.
Bai Ye followed with a swift punch that caved in the Void Sentinel's chest.
The Void Sentinel countered frantically, the power of a million suns erupting and sweeping the entire Mirror Dimension!
But Bai Ye's Infinity Armor flickered, and the Time Stone glimmered.
Bai Ye controlled time; in this domain he was always one second faster than the Void.
Every strike was foreseen, every burst interrupted.
Like a hunter toying with prey, Bai Ye shattered the Void again and again, then watched him reform.
"Aren't you Sentinel?"
Bai Ye gripped the Void Sentinel's throat and lifted him into the air.
"Why so trash now?"
The Void Sentinel roared, dark energy erupting in a bid to devour Bai Ye.
The Mirror Dimension began to collapse; the fabric of reality twisted and tore.
Bai Ye's gaze was icy; he merely snapped his fingers.
"You really think you're the omniversal Sentinel from the comics?"
"Even that Sentinel was just a poor wretch who got endless retcons after death!"
"Power of a million suns? You don't deserve it!"
(A million suns refers not merely to stars, but to an entire Universe brimming with the power of countless suns.)
The Reality Stone flashed, rewriting reality.
The Void Sentinel froze in terror as he discovered his power had vanished.
The might of a million suns was forcibly stripped away and funneled into Bai Ye.
"No—impossible!"
He stared, trembling, at his hands; the dark matter beneath his skin receded like a tide, revealing Robert Reynolds' original face.
"I've changed back?"
The Sentinel's primary personality awoke and knelt on the ground in bewilderment.
Bai Ye had no time for him; hovering high overhead, he was engulfed in blinding golden light.
The power of a million suns and the energy of the Infinity Stones surged through him, his cells evolving at a frenzied pace.
Golden energy surfaced across his skin, his bones crackled, and the six gems on his Infinity Armordetached on their own.
"Bai Ye?!" Wanda tried to approach but was driven back by the storm of energy.
Susan caught her arm. "Don't go near—he's evolving!"
Ju Ziyun gazed up at the figure within the golden light and murmured, "He can still evolve?!"
Within the radiance, Bai Ye slowly raised his hand; the six Infinity Stones hovered above his palm, shining brighter than ever before.
"Since things have come this far…"
Bai Ye's voice seemed to arrive from the depths of the cosmos, echoing across dimensions.
"Then let's merge completely."
This journey to another Universe had made Bai Ye realize the limitations of the six Infinity Stones.
Though backed by the Power of Ten Billion Gods, he remained a powerhouse of a single Universe.
Yet with the six Infinity Stones added, he could break through to an even higher tier.
Therefore, now that the Sentinel's million-solar power had pushed his body to evolve further…
…he could attempt to turn the might of the six Infinity Stones entirely into cosmic laws of his own.
With that thought, Bai Ye acted, wielding the Power of Ten Billion Gods.
The Power Stone dissolved first; a violet torrent surged into his right arm, muscle fibers instantly rebuilt so every cell now held Planet-shattering force. The Reality Stone liquefied into scarlet fluid, seeping into his left eye; within the pupil appeared endlessly shifting runic patterns of law.
Reality became threads he could weave at will.
The Space Stone shattered into blue motes that merged with his torso; in an instant his very existence became an anchor of space, letting him reach any point in the Universe with a thought.
The Time Stone turned into emerald light that poured into his heart; each heartbeat stirred ripples in time, past and future flowing along his fingertips.
The Mind Stone's golden energy sank into his brain, his thoughts becoming a quantum storm faster than light, able in one instant to blanket the mental oceans of billions of beings.
The Soul Stone's orange radiance fused last, elevating Bai Ye's soul into a Universe unto itself.
"BOOM!!!"
When the final gem's energy was absorbed, a pillar of light that pierced dimensions erupted around him, shattering the Mirror Dimension completely.
Bai Ye's awareness had already transcended reality; he saw branches of the timeline, countless parallel Universes swaying like leaves.
He saw dimensional barriers and the titanic silhouettes of the Celestials prowling in higher planes.
He beheld the end of the Universe; his consciousness surpassed a single Universe and arrived at the Multiverse, perceiving innumerable individual cosmoses.
Those Universes floated like bubbles, glittering brilliantly.
The next instant, a pair of colossal eyes opened in the Void, gazing coldly at Bai Ye.
Bai Ye recognized them at once: the embodiment of the Multiverse, the Great Eternity.
"As expected, choosing to absorb the six cosmic laws was the right move."
Bai Ye's voice echoed within the energy storm, ringing with exhilaration.
The golden light contracted abruptly, merging wholly into his body.
When the brilliance faded, Bai Ye landed slowly; outwardly unchanged, yet his eyes now perceived the flow of rules themselves.
If one gauged his strength, his base power had already reached the Multiverse level.
Stronger than Galactus in his ordinary state, yet slightly below those ancient great beings rooted in the Multiverse for eons.
But if he employed the transformed Power of Ten Billion Gods, even a fully fed Galactus and the other Multiverse titans…
…Bai Ye was confident he could outlast and defeat them in a prolonged war.
Though he had officially reached the Multiverse level, that did not mean Bai Ye was invincible.
Above the Multiverse stood Molecule Man, God-King Doom, Emperor Thanos, Ultimate Kang the Conqueror, the White Phoenix, Chaos-Wanda, Rune-King Thor… and more.
And beyond them, the Living Tribunal, and at the authorial realm, the One-Above-All…
