Ch: 259-266
Chapter 259
"Wanda, I'm not here to take anything—I'm here to make a deal."
That's right; Bai Ye's goal was to persuade Wanda.
He couldn't stay in the 616 Main Universe forever, so before leaving he needed someone to keep muddying the waters—ideally forcing the Beyonders to show themselves again and again.
And Wanda was clearly the one who could pull that off.
Wanda hesitated, then shook her head with a bitter smile.
"You've got the wrong person. I can't even save myself—how could I help you?"
A breeze carrying the scent of grass brushed past, lifting the strands of hair across her forehead.
Unpleasant memories flashed by like a revolving lantern.
She recalled the fear in her teammates' eyes inside Avengers Tower.
Remembered the people hurt because of her, the Mutants erased with a single sentence.
"Did you know?" Wanda's voice was almost inaudible.
"Sometimes I feel my magic is a curse."
She raised her hand; crimson energy swirled in her palm.
"Every time I try to protect something, it ends up vanishing."
Bai Ye waited quietly for her to continue, not interrupting.
"So I chose to leave."
Wanda finally lifted her head, stubborn tears glinting in her eyes.
"To live as an ordinary person—tend flowers, read books—at least that way I won't hurt anyone again."
Naren frowned in disbelief beside her and couldn't help retorting,
"And then what? Hide under the covers and cry when the World ends?"
"Naren."
Bai Ye shot him a glare; this idiot nearly ruined everything.
Though what Naren said was true, didn't ignorance make the blade cut cleaner?
"I understand your concerns, but running has never been the answer, Wanda—you know that better than anyone."
"My proposal is simple."
Bai Ye snapped his fingers; a black book appeared between them.
"It can help you fully control Chaos Magic—not suppress it, not flee from it, but wield it like your own arm."
Wanda's pupils widened slightly; she recognized the book—the darkhold.
She had recently obtained fragments and learned some new spells.
Yet now an entire intact volume appeared.
And judging by its aura, it bore no trace of the usual mind-bewitching energy.
"So, what do you say? In exchange, you only need to do me a small favor at a specific moment."
Naren watched Bai Ye start conning people again and almost applauded.
The more time he spent with Bai Ye, the better he understood the man's gift for persuasion.
Listening to Bai Ye, Wanda's eyes flickered with struggle.
She stared at her trembling hands—hands that had birthed miracles and tragedies alike.
"If I agree," she asked softly, "can you promise no one will be hurt because of me again?"
Bai Ye nodded, answering with full confidence,
"I promise you'll become the true Master of Chaos Magic, not its prisoner."
A blue robin landed on Wanda's shoulder, tilting its head to study her.
Wanda gazed at the bird—'Seven-Two-Three'—the only little creature in Scotland willing to approach her since her arrival.
"All right, I accept!"
Wanda drew a deep breath and reached out to touch the darkhold.
The instant her fingers brushed the cover, the entire courtyard lit up with a soft crimson glow.
Every flower bloomed at once, and the robin, far from flying off, chirped joyfully.
Dang-dang-dang… Suddenly, the distant tolling of a church bell rang out.
Wanda realized in surprise that this was the first time since coming to Scotland she'd heard the bell so clearly.
Normally her magic would twist and muffle surrounding sounds.
Seeing this, Bai Ye couldn't help raising an eyebrow.
"Protagonist halo, huh? Nice—comes with its own special effects!"
"Looks like it's already working."
A rare look of approval crossed Naren's face. "Not bad, little girl."
Wanda gazed at her hands, now glowing steadily with Scarlet light, feeling magic and self in perfect harmony for the first time.
She lifted her eyes to Bai Ye; the gloom in them slowly lifted.
"So, when is this 'small favor'?"
Bai Ye snapped his fingers; three chairs and a tea table appeared in the yard.
He then casually took a seat as a teacup flew to his hand.
Bai Ye sipped, then spoke slowly,
"Have you noticed anything unusual happening lately?"
Wanda arched an eyebrow, gave no immediate answer, and simply pulled up a chair to sit.
Naren also sat down; right now he just wanted to pull out his Little Notebook and jot down every move Bai Ye made.
This guy Bai Ye really shows off wherever he goes!
But you've got to admit… these stunts do look pretty impressive.
"You're talking about those two Universes colliding? I did sense an anomalous fluctuation." Wandahesitated, then spoke slowly.
"Correct guess, but it's not that simple." Bai Ye shook his head.
Naren, standing nearby, kept an expressionless face with arms folded, inwardly grumbling.
Write it down, hurry up and write it down!
Here we go again—wherever this guy walks he has to play the cryptic riddler.
Wanda's brows knit tighter. "Could a Cosmic Deity be intervening?"
"Worse than that."
Bai Ye set down his teacup and looked straight at Wanda.
"It's a race beyond dimensions running experiments; they're observing what happens when Universes in the Multiverse smash together and annihilate."
"What?"
Wanda jerked upright, clearly shocked by the news.
"There are beings like that in existence? Why would they do it?"
Bai Ye shook his head, voice calm as his Master-class bluffing kicked in.
"To them the entire Multiverse is nothing but a game; the home we cherish is merely a petri dish in their lab."
Wanda's expression turned grave; as a former Avenger she still thought in those terms.
"That's insane."
Watching Bai Ye showboat, Naren couldn't help interjecting:
"Even crazier? We're not the only ones who know the truth now."
He shot Bai Ye a glance, tone teasing, "Especially with a certain someone leaking it everywhere."
Bai Ye merely smiled, inwardly making a mental note about Naren.
This guy—gonna cut him down to size once we're back.
Ignoring Naren, Bai Ye turned to Wanda and said outright:
"So now you understand what I need your help with, right?"
The sunlight remained warm, yet the air in the courtyard seemed to freeze.
Wanda stared at the magic energy swirling in her palm, feeling the weight of responsibility for the first time… Bai Ye watched her, his tone turning serious.
"Next, the Beyonders' experiment will press on, and the whole Multiverse will slowly collide toward extinction."
"When that happens, not just your World but life in every Universe will vanish."
Wanda fell silent for a moment, thoughts racing.
"What should I do? They sound even stronger than Chaos Magic."
"That's exactly why I came to you."
Bai Ye met her gaze steadily, voice firm.
"Of all the Wandas across Parallel Universes, you're the strongest—the only one likely to stop this."
Naren stood with folded arms, unusually quiet, simply studying Wanda thoughtfully.
"I need you to find a way to grow stronger," Bai Ye went on.
"Master the very source of Chaos Magic; when it fully erupts it can briefly touch Omniverse level."
Bai Ye wasn't exaggerating—Chaos Magic could indeed reach that far.
In the future this Wanda would create and erase dimensions at will, her power nigh-Omniversal!
Wanda lifted her head, surprise flashing in her eyes. "It can really reach that level?"
Bai Ye nodded with certainty. "You may not beat the Top-Tier 3.4 Beyonders, but holding them off for a while is absolutely doable."
(Beyonders have varying power; even the weakest are Multiverse-level.)
For this Wanda, Bai Ye's plan was to let her grow stronger so this Universe could better stand against the Beyonders.
After all, the Secret War storyline mainly unfolds in the 616 Main Universe, making this the primary battlefield.
And once he returned he'd find a way to power up his own Wanda as well!
Since both are Wandas, either can tap the primal source of Chaos Magic.
Before Bai Ye, Wanda drew a deep breath, memories of past battles flashing through her mind.
She recalled her days protecting the World as an Avenger, the lives she had sworn to guard.
Scarlet energy flowed around her, growing steady and formidable.
"I understand." Wanda's voice was resolute.
"Whoever tries to destroy the Multiverse, I'll stop them."
Chapter 260
Bai Ye revealed a satisfied smile: "I look forward to your performance."
Knull also encouraged: "I hope you don't disappoint us, little girl."
Wanda nodded solemnly.
"I will find a way, thank you!"
The two nodded, stood up, and waved to Wanda.
With a ripple in space, Bai Ye and Knull's figures gradually disappeared.
Only Wanda was left in the courtyard. She looked up at the sky, her eyes burning with determination.
"It seems it's time to reacquaint myself with my power."
She murmured softly, and crimson energy formed a magnificent halo around her body... Knull and Bai Ye's figures appeared above the high-altitude clouds, and the cold air currents ruffled their robes.
Knull looked down at the monastery gradually receding into the distance.
Crimson magic light could still be seen flickering in the courtyard.
"Do you really think she can do it?"
Knull turned his head to look at Bai Ye, his white hair fluttering in the wind.
"Although that Witch has some ability, it's probably not enough to fight against the Beyonders."
As a top powerhouse in the Marvel Universe, Knull knew how powerful such transcendent beings were.
To deal with them, Chaos Magic alone was not enough.
Bai Ye spread his hands, fully enjoying the sunlight.
"She is the one with the most potential."
Knull glanced at Bai Ye, then suddenly showed a playful smile.
"What about your own?"
Knull deliberately drew out his words, teasing Bai Ye.
"I remember the Wanda from your Universe isn't bad either, right?"
Bai Ye smiled faintly, not immediately answering Knull's words.
His Wanda was still in the growth stage, and her strength was very powerful due to his own improvement.
Her talent was in no way inferior to the Scarlet Witch of the 616 Main Universe.
It was time to enhance her strength. Chaos Magic was not just about altering reality.
Knull looked at Bai Ye's thoughtful expression and raised an eyebrow, saying:
"What, are you finally going to seriously cultivate your own people?"
"She can become stronger."
Bai Ye finally spoke, his voice filled with anticipation.
"Stronger than this Wanda, even..."
"Even surpass you?" Knull sneered.
He could see Bai Ye's potential; he seemed capable of becoming even stronger.
Bai Ye ignored Knull's teasing, a deep purple light flashing in his black eyes.
"The limits of Chaos Magic are far from this. If I can guide her to touch the true origin, what do you think will happen?"
Knull listened, his expression suddenly becoming serious:
"You're not thinking of creating a new Omniversal-level being, are you?"
Bai Ye calmly stated this crazy plan.
"How strong do you think a Wanda who fully masters the origin of chaos would be?"
Knull was silent for a moment, then suddenly burst out laughing: "Madman! But this is quite interesting."
Bai Ye looked at the distant horizon: "It's time to go back."
He felt that the phased goal had been achieved, and the expansion didn't need to be so fast. He also needed to return to his own Universe to prepare some things.
For example, upgrading the strength of his women? Or even slowly elevating them to a higher level?
Knull said nothing more, thinking to himself if he also needed to become stronger.
With a twist in space, their figures gradually became transparent.
Before completely disappearing, Knull took one last look in the direction of Scotland.
"I hope that Witch can survive until the day of the final battle."
Bai Ye's soft laughter drifted away with the wind: "She will, because she is the chosen one of this Universe!"
After their figures completely vanished, only a fleeting golden trail remained in the high sky... Above New York in the white night universe
Space twisted, rippling like water, and Bai Ye and Knull's figures gradually solidified.
Bai Ye's eyes flickered slightly, and the Eavesdropping on the Clouds Game instantly covered the entire Planet.
In an instant, countless noisy sounds and information flooded his mind.
Police sirens, lovers arguing, street performers singing, and one particularly clear voice.
"Sir, your custom wedding cake is ready and will be delivered to Stark Tower promptly at ten tomorrow morning."
Wedding cake?!
Hearing these words, Bai Ye's expression immediately became strange.
They hadn't been to the 616 Main Universe for long, had they? Had more than twenty days passed here already?
And the news he just heard was that Tony's wedding was tomorrow.
It seemed the flow of time in the two Worlds was different, but... the gap was too big.
Bai Ye shook his head, somewhat grateful that he had returned just in time, otherwise he would have broken his promise.
Knull stood floating beside him, arms crossed, his pale face showing no emotion.
Bai Ye stopped thinking, turned to him, and teased: "What are your plans next?"
Knull was silent for a moment, a hint of complexity flashing in his eyes.
He recalled his original plan, which was to use the dark code within the venom to break the seal.
Then release the power of the abyss, letting the darkness devour one Planet after another, and even the entire Universe. That was his destiny as the god of the symbiotes.
Now, because of the existence of the Beyonders, all his plans were disrupted.
And not only that, he was actually following this guy around saving the World like a superhero.
Seeing his expression, Bai Ye guessed something and asked with a raised eyebrow and a smile:
"What, are you missing some of your Universe-destroying plans?"
Knull glanced at Bai Ye. He hated guys who knew everything, whose inner thoughts couldn't be hidden.
"I'm just thinking that following you around is at least more interesting than being locked in the abyss."
Bai Ye chuckled, not exposing his hypocrisy.
"Then do you want to go to the wedding? Stark's wedding should be quite lively."
"Boring."
Knull turned his head away, but a hint of interest still flashed in his eyes.
"That kind of occasion is suitable for show-offs like you."
Hearing this, Bai Ye looked at Knull's pale, skeletal face and couldn't help but laugh:
"With your appearance, if you go to a wedding, you'll probably scare all the guests away."
Knull rolled his eyes and crossed his arms: "Boring, I wasn't planning on going anyway."
"Oh?" Bai Ye raised an eyebrow and asked: "Then where are you going?"
Facing Bai Ye's question, a hint of determination and resolve flashed in Knull's eyes, and he spoke seriously:
"I'm going to the Multiverse. Since I have to deal with the Beyonders, I also need to improve my strength."
At this point, Knull couldn't help but sigh again internally.
As a dignified Dark God, he should have devoured the Universe as soon as he was unsealed.
Now, not only had he devoured nothing, but he was busy improving his strength to fight stronger existences. What kind of situation was this?
Bai Ye seemed to see through his thoughts and teased:
"Go, but be careful not to be hunted by the Beyonders as prey."
"Shut your mouth, kid!"
Knull snorted coldly, but he still remembered the warning.
He indeed needed to guard against those who hunted gods.
"I'm leaving."
Knull bid a brief farewell, and dark energy began to surge around him.
Bai Ye nodded, with no intention of holding him back: "Take care."
With a rising black mist, Knull's figure gradually dissipated into the air.
Bai Ye withdrew his gaze, a faint smile on his lips.
The next second, his figure also disappeared from where he stood.
Inside the Long Island Villa, space rippled slightly, and Bai Ye's figure appeared in the center of the living room.
He looked around; everything here was exactly as it had been when he left.
The items on the coffee table seemed untouched for days.
"Looks like I'll have to make myself a cup," Bai Ye murmured softly, walking towards the kitchen.
He unhurriedly brewed coffee, and the steaming hot vapor rose in the sunlight.
However, he wasn't idle. His eyes penetrated through layers of walls, taking in the entire Villa. He wanted to see what Wanda and the others were doing.
Soon, Bai Ye found Wanda in the meditation room.
At this moment, Wanda was suspended in mid-air, and the darkhold slowly turned its pages before her.
Crimson Chaos Energy merged with the dark文字 on the pages.
And Martina was sitting cross-legged to the side, still emitting golden light.
She herself was intently studying an ancient magic tome.
Bai Ye clicked his tongue and took a sip of coffee.
"It seems they haven't slackened off while I was away~."
Before his voice faded, his figure had already disappeared from the kitchen.
In the underground meditation room, space suddenly rippled.
Wanda and Martina simultaneously looked up alertly, just in time to see Bai Ye stepping out of the void, holding a coffee cup.
"Excuse me, ladies," Bai Ye said, raising his coffee cup with a smile, gesturing to them.
Chapter 261
Wanda landed slowly, her Chaos Magic quietly receding.
"dear, you're back." A flicker of joy sparked in her eyes.
Martina reined in the energy radiating from her body, stood up and called out:
"White, perfect timing—I have some magic questions for you."
Bai Ye's gaze drifted between the two women before settling on the darkhold.
"Wanda, how far have you progressed?"
Wanda's face turned thoughtful as she brushed a fingertip across a page.
"dear, although you've purged most of its corruption, the book still tries to seduce my mind—but I can hold it at bay."
Knowing the darkhold's danger, Martina stifled her excitement and stayed silent.
Bai Ye snapped his fingers, the coffee cup vanished, and he stepped between them.
"No worries. Next, I'll help you grow stronger—and fix this problem along the way."
Excitement glittered in Wanda's eyes as she leaned forward. "Really? Grow stronger? How exactly?"
Martina looked on curiously and asked Bai Ye:
"Are the Beyonders truly that powerful—more terrifying than the Primus you mentioned before?"
Bai Ye tilted his head, recalling Primus's power in the comics, then answered firmly:
"Yes. As I said, they exist beyond the Multiverse!"
"Before them, Primus is like a child facing a Titan."
Martina frowned, glancing at Wanda and then Bai Ye, feeling her own strength sorely lacking.
Wanda nodded thoughtfully, grasping the foe's might.
"I understand—I must become stronger."
Bai Ye looked around and suddenly asked, "By the way, where are Susan and Ju Ziyun?"
He remembered both women had been in the Villa when they left.
Martina couldn't help giggling. "After you left, Sister Susan said she needed to recharge in the Sun."
As she spoke, Martina playfully mimicked Susan's tone.
Wanda added, "Ju Ziyun felt uneasy and went along."
"...in the Sun?"
Bai Ye raised an eyebrow, approval flashing in his eyes.
Good—they've learned to power up on their own.
Suddenly Martina slapped her forehead and said straightforwardly:
"Oh right, Ju Ziyun came back once and said if you returned we should wake them—Susan has fallen into deep sleep."
Deep sleep? Has Susan evolved again?
Bai Ye nodded thoughtfully, then smiled at Wanda and Martina.
"Let's go check on them."
Thanks to Bai Ye's modifications, Susan's method of growing stronger was now simple.
After breaking the Mutant ceiling and receiving Bai Ye's boost,
Susan only needed to keep absorbing external energy for her life level to march toward the Mutantorigin—the Celestials.
And not the movie versions, but the comic-book Ultimate Celestials.
Each of those Celestials possessed Multiverse-level might.
Bai Ye had long noticed the uniqueness of this Universe:
While parts resembled the Marvel Cinematic Universe,
it also wove in various other storylines.
By his measurements, its ceiling rivaled that of the 616 Main Universe.
That was why Susan's Mutant gene could reach greater heights after its limits shattered.
Of course, it helped that Bai Ye had slipped something extra into Susan's system.
Wanda tilted her head, grinned exaggeratedly and said:
"Finding someone inside the Sun—sounds crazy."
Though Bai Ye had done this with them before, every time felt thrilling.
Who could stay calm before that gigantic, raging star?
Ready and brows raised in anticipation, Martina responded:
"Fly straight into the Sun? Really? That intense?"
"Don't worry—it'll become tradition!" Bai Ye shrugged with a smile.
"Susan and I have hung out in the solar core before."
Wanda moved to Bai Ye's left and looked at Martina.
"So what are we waiting for? Let's go see."
Martina took a deep breath; she could hardly wait to experience this.
Bai Ye snapped his fingers; a Bio-Force Field instantly enveloped the three.
"Ready?"
Just then Martina grinned slyly:
"Hold on—I'm curious, how long will it take you to fly us to the Sun?"
Bai Ye smiled mysteriously. "Very fast."
The next second, the World froze before their eyes.
Martina was stunned to see the air around her solidify; dust inside the Villa hung motionless in mid-air.
Outside the window, a bird's wings were locked mid-beat.
Then, in an instant, they were gone from the Villa.
Martina turned to Wanda, who winked back at her.
"Faster-than-light travel—how does it feel?"
"It's incredible!"
Martina's voice echoed inside the Bio-Force Field.
She had experienced this speed before, but out in space there'd been no scenery for comparison.
Now, on Earth, she finally felt the full effect.
"Once you've fully mastered the power inside you, you'll be able to do this anytime."
As Bai Ye spoke he rose with the two women, slicing through motionless clouds; lightning froze beside them into glowing, tree-like shapes.
Moments later the three of them broke through the atmosphere and reached outer space.
Martina saw Earth's curve unfurl beneath her—azure oceans and white clouds forming a magnificent scroll.
"That's the International Space Station."
Bai Ye pointed to a floating structure nearby: "And Tony's satellite."
Watching Earth shrink, Martina whispered, "How long did that take?"
"Less than a second." Bai Ye chuckled. "Time to accelerate."
Space twisted before their eyes.
Earth shrank into a blue speck, then Venus, then Jupiter.
Compared with watching from inside Toxitron's frame earlier,
viewing the Solar System with their own bodies under Bai Ye's lead was far more thrilling.
The cosmos is so lonely; the distances between Planets make one falter.
Yet at Bai Ye's extreme speed the burning star soon filled Martina's entire view.
"So beautiful!"
Martina murmured; up close the Sun didn't glare as it does from Earth.
Instead it showed a liquid-gold texture, its corona dancing like fiery silk.
Seeing Martina's awe, Bai Ye's smile curved slightly upward.
He gently held her hand; the Bio-Force Field automatically adjusted to the intense light.
"First time seeing the Sun with your own eyes—how does it feel?" Bai Ye asked with a smile.
Martina drew a deep breath, the blazing star reflected in her pupils.
"More magnificent than I imagined… wait, why aren't we ashes this close?"
Bai Ye laughed; his Bio-Force Field had long since formed an invisible barrier around her, blocking the Sun's lethal radiation and heat.
Wanda, protected by Chaos Magic, needed no help from him.
Bai Ye pointed at the warped space outside the Force Field and teased,
"Silly girl, did you forget my Bio-Force Field?"
"Oh, right!"
Only then did Martina snap out of her shock, gave a silly laugh, and scratched her hair to hide her embarrassment.
While they chatted, Wanda suddenly pointed to a spot on the solar surface. "Look there!"
Amid the surging corona, two tiny figures were faintly visible.
Bai Ye's Super Vision pierced the blazing plasma, revealing Susan and Ju Ziyun.
Susan glowed with pale blue light, arms outstretched as she floated deep within the Sun.
Ju Ziyun hovered beside her, enveloped in a peculiar energy field.
"They're really inside the Sun?"
Martina murmured; the little pride she'd felt from mastering a scrap of the allspark was shattered in that instant.
For the first time she grasped how mighty Bai Ye's group truly was.
Before, she'd known they were strong, but had no real concept of the extent.
Since Bai Ye brought her back, they'd only exchanged brief greetings before each dove into relentless cultivation.
At present Martina was closest to Wanda.
Bai Ye snapped his fingers lightly. "Let's go take a look."
The three of them slowly approached the Sun's surface.
As the distance shrank the temperature soared; even with the Force Field, Martina felt the suffocating pressure.
"This is insane!" Martina clenched the Lasso of Truth, her voice trembling with excitement.
Wanda soothed her softly. "Don't worry, dear—the Bio-Force Field is reliable."
Just as they were about to touch the solar surface, Ju Ziyun's figure suddenly appeared before them.
Her eyes had turned pure gold, and she radiated light akin to solar energy.
Chapter 262
"Bai Ye! You made it."
Ju Ziyun's voice carried through the vacuum via energy vibrations.
"Susan's undergoing some kind of evolution; it's best not to disturb her."
Bai Ye nodded, gazing at the sleeping Susan through the surging plasma.
"How long has she been like this?"
"About ten days," Ju Ziyun answered thoughtfully.
"Her cells are absorbing solar energy like crazy; I can feel her power growing geometrically."
Martina stared in surprise. "You can move freely inside the Sun too?"
Ju Ziyun smiled. "Thanks to the serum Bai Ye injected, plus my own adaptive evolution."
She turned to Bai Ye. "So, how's the 616 Universe?"
Bai Ye smiled. "Stable for now; the Beyonders won't show themselves so soon—everything's on track."
Ju Ziyun gazed at Susan deep in the Sun and nodded.
"Good. All we have to do is wait for Susan to finish evolving."
Hearing Ju Ziyun, Bai Ye smiled. "No rush."
Wanda tilted her head. "But Tony's wedding is tomorrow—will we make it?"
Martina looked worried. "Judging by Susan's current state, I'm afraid…"
"Tony's wedding is already tomorrow?"
Ju Ziyun's eyes widened. "We didn't feel time pass inside the Sun!"
She glanced at Susan, then at the others; time suddenly felt fleeting.
"Have you forgotten who I am?"
Bai Ye chuckled, lifting his right hand; brilliant purple energy blossomed above his palm.
"I'm a God; time and space are toys to me."
Wanda's pupils shrank; her Chaos Magic instantly sensed the anomaly.
"I get it—like last time, warp time around Susan!"
Martina turned, eyes sparkling with curiosity and anticipation.
Bai Ye snapped his fingers with a crisp click.
In an instant, cosmic background radiation around them shifted subtly.
Solar flares slowed; distant asteroids crawled like a film played a million times slower.
"This is time manipulation?"
Martina stretched out her hand, watching her normal motion slice oddly against the sluggish world.
"Exactly."
Bai Ye's purple energy formed a perfect temporal bubble enclosing the entire solar region.
"I've slowed this zone by a hundred-thousand-fold: one minute outside equals one full year here."
Wanda nodded, then her eyes lit up.
"Wait—so Susan can absorb centuries of solar energy in here."
Excitement flashed in Ju Ziyun's eyes.
"Then almost no time passes outside—we can still make tomorrow's wedding!"
Bai Ye surveyed their stunned faces. "Exactly. And now…"
He looked toward Susan deep within the Sun.
"…let's give Susan all the time she needs to transform."
Martina suddenly beamed. "With all this time, why don't we train too? Imagine long sessions while only minutes pass outside."
Wanda and Ju Ziyun exchanged excited smiles.
"It's settled."
Bai Ye spread his arms; a vast purple platform formed beneath them.
Under his protection it isolated them from the Sun.
No matter what happened inside, the Star would remain unshaken.
"Welcome to the Hyper-Time Training Ground. Ladies, lesson one: surviving stellar-level energies."
As he spoke, the corona erupted, hurling a colossal energy torrent at the platform.
Wanda's Chaos Magic flared into a shield; Martina's Divine Sword blazed gold; Ju Ziyun simply charged head-on.
Within the sluggish time-stream, an unprecedented training session began.
To the outside world, only a few ticks of the second-hand passed.
Inside Bai Ye's golden space, Wanda and Ju Ziyun had fought for ages.
Martina hovered beside Bai Ye, eyes locked on their battle, barely hiding her shock.
"I thought Wanda would rely on Chaos Magic," she murmured.
"Yet now she's matching Ju Ziyun with pure physical strength?"
Bai Ye smiled faintly, his dark pupils reflecting the fierce clash in the distance.
"Chaos Magic has remade her body; now she is far more than a mere sorceress."
At the center of the battlefield, Wanda moved like lightning, crimson energy no longer flaring outward but fully fused into flesh and bone.
Every punch she threw carried the terrifying force to shatter a Star.
Ju Ziyun met her head-on, her body reinforced by Bai Ye's upgrades, every bit as savage.
BOOM!
Their fists collided; an Impact shock-wave erupted, ripping the air with a storm of energy.
Yet the instant that energy touched the edge of the space, Bai Ye raised a hand and erased it... "They're nearing standard single-Universe level," he judged.
"Wanda's Chaos Magic isn't cast anymore—it's become the very fabric of her life."
Martina clenched her fists, eyes blazing with longing and the urge to fight.
"Bai, can I still keep up with them?"
Bai Ye tilted his head, smile deepening: "Don't forget, that body of yours was forged from the allspark—it's basically a God's flesh."
"Add the allspark energy that could power an entire Universe—want to test your limit?"
Martina's lips curved in confident delight: "Wouldn't miss it."
As the living spirit of the allspark in the Transformers Universe, Martina could be called the core of that cosmos.
And she wasn't the watered-down movie version—she was closer to the comics.
Bai Ye estimated her ceiling had to be Multiverse at minimum.
Comic power inflation was just that ridiculous.
With the Temporal Training Chamber available, mastering her allspark energy and catching Wandawouldn't be hard.
Bai Ye snapped his fingers; on the battlefield Wanda and Ju Ziyun froze mid-strike.
Wanda and Ju Ziyun lowered their fists and turned to Bai Ye.
"What's up, Bai? I was just getting warmed up!"
Ju Ziyun flicked her wrist, eyes sparkling with excitement.
Wanda, spotting Martina, asked, "Martina's joining us?"
Bai Ye nodded: "Right—but not sparring with you two. Three on one."
Martina blinked, stammering: "Wait, three on one? Who's against who?"
In the next instant Bai Ye vanished, reappearing beside Wanda and Ju Ziyun.
"All three of you, against me."
He hovered, his Enchanted Cloak billowing without wind. "Let's see how far you've come."
Martina drew a deep breath; blazing gold light erupted as allspark energy seethed inside her.
"This is..."
"Insane," Ju Ziyun finished, grinning with battle hunger.
Wanda simply set herself, Chaos Magic no longer flaring outward.
Fully internalized, it left her skin glowing a faint scarlet.
"Ladies!" Bai Ye smiled. "Come!"
The instant the word left his lips—BOOM!!
The ground shook; four figures crashed together, their energy tempest caught by the Space-Time Barrier Bai Ye had already woven.
In this pocket realm beyond reality, a battle beyond mortal comprehension began.
Outside, the Sun still burned serenely, as if nothing had happened.
Time trickled on; the aftershocks faded, and Bai Ye regarded the three women with satisfaction.
"Your growth is impressive—excellent."
Scarlet energy pulsed beneath Wanda's skin as she stared at Ju Ziyun in awe.
"She's improved the fastest—just needed time."
Ju Ziyun laughed: "You're the monster here. Chaos Magic's broken; even Bai says your potential's bottomless."
Martina folded her arms, feigning offense: "So now I'm the weakest?"
Everyone burst out laughing; Bai Ye shrugged, relaxed.
"You're all even."
At that moment Bai Ye's gaze pierced into the Sun's heart.
Black pupils cut through plasma, locking on the figure still evolving within.
"Susan's been in there long enough—it's time she came out."
They followed his gaze; deep in the Star's blazing core,
Susan still floated, arms spread, eyes closed.
Her body shone brighter than the Sun itself, warping the stellar matter around her.
Chapter 263
Wanda tilted her head, curious. "What will she evolve into?"
Ju Ziyun and Martina looked over as well, waiting for an answer.
Bai Ye gave a faint smile. "She'll gradually become like I once was—transcending the boundaries of a single Universe."
He paused, his gaze deepening, and added:
"But her cellular evolution still isn't fast enough."
Compared with Bai Ye's cheat-like speed, Susan was developing normally—yet that speed was already heaven-defying!
Of course, it was also thanks to Bai Ye's help.
Counting this time, Bai Ye had already used time-related abilities twice to create growth space for her and Ju Ziyun.
Susan's rapid progress was due to absorbing those two sessions; otherwise it would have been impossible.
Bai Ye himself had used reality alteration to transfer Sentinel's million-Sun power into his own body.
Then, by absorbing all six Infinity Stones, he finally achieved a qualitative change.
Hearing Bai Ye's explanation, Wanda rolled her eyes. "We don't have X-ray vision—how are we supposed to see her cellular speed?"
"We don't have X-ray vision—how are we supposed to see her cellular speed?"
Bai Ye chuckled and shook his head, then snapped his fingers.
In an instant everyone's vision zoomed in, as though piercing through the Sun's layers to watch the energy flowing inside Susan's body.
Her cells were madly absorbing solar energy; every atom was restructuring, yet certain key nodes were still slowly transforming. "See?" Bai Ye explained.
"Her X-gene is adapting to a higher-dimensional energy structure."
"But the process will still take a long time, even inside the spacetime I've adjusted."
Martina studied the scene, thoughtful. "So she needs a stronger stimulus?"
A sly glint flashed in Ju Ziyun's eyes. "Or a real fight?"
Wanda blinked, then grinned wickedly. "Like the four of us ganging up to help her?"
Martina cracked her knuckles excitedly, eyeing Susan in the distance.
Bai Ye's pupils shimmered, his smile turning meaningful.
"Hmm, that's a decent suggestion."
The next second all four vanished, reappearing in a loose ring around Susan.
Energy at the Sun's core surged violently, as though sensing the coming clash.
The sleeping Susan's expression twitched slightly.
Bai Ye smiled, his eyes parsing Susan's bodily structure in real time.
It was the only way to keep track of her condition.
Seeing her face, Bai Ye's eyes flickered with amusement. "She's been awake for a while."
Sure enough, just as the three women prepared a sneak attack, Susan's eyes snapped open—4.9 of them.
They were ice-blue and as deep as the cosmos, pupils swirling with starlight.
Boom!
An unprecedented storm of energy erupted, the Sun's plasma sea blasted outward, forming a vast vacuum.
Susan floated at its center, her black-gold cape billowing without wind, radiance even brighter than the Sun.
"I didn't wake because I wanted to—you're just too noisy."
She chuckled, studying her hands, feeling the overwhelming power.
For some reason she felt she could punch through a Universe with one blow!
In battle-board terms, Susan had now reached twice single-Universe level.
After gauging her new strength, Susan turned to the others, teasing: "Come on, let's test my power."
The moment the words left her mouth her figure vanished.
"Watch out!"
Wanda had barely shouted when a golden light struck Ju Ziyun.
The next instant Ju Ziyun was hurled backward, carving a ten-thousand-mile scar through the solar matter.
Wanda threw up a magical barrier, but it helped little.
Susan's palm had already pierced the defense and rested lightly on her shoulder!
Bang!
Wanda shot like a cannonball toward the Sun's depths.
Martina's energy whip had just lashed out when Susan caught it one-handed.
Before the muddle-headed Martina could react, irresistible force flung her straight at Bai Ye.
Bai Ye caught her, set her gently aside, then lifted his gaze, smiling at Susan.
"Now it's just you and me."
Susan hovered before Bai Ye, battle-fire blazing in her eyes.
Hearing her boast, Bai Ye simply laughed. "Looks like you absorbed more than solar energy—you've gained confidence too?"
"Looks like you absorbed more than solar energy—you've gained confidence too?"
The Susan before him had already surpassed the ordinary single-Universe level, yet she still remained within that tier.
She was still far from true Multiverse rank.
"Let me try." Across from Bai Ye, Susan gave a soft laugh.
In the next instant she vanished, reappearing behind Bai Ye and bringing down a knife-hand strike.
Space twisted and shattered under the blow, but Bai Ye's form had already dispersed into motes of golden light.
"Over here."
Bai Ye's voice echoed from every direction.
Susan looked around, the corners of her mouth curving in greater excitement.
"Bai, now this is fun."
She folded her arms across her chest, the energy stored within her body beginning to run wild.
The golden radiance turned blinding white, and the surrounding space began to solidify.
It was the domain she had created by mimicking Bai Ye's space-time ability.
Two powers beyond universal level were about to collide.
Right then—"Stop!" Wanda's voice cut in from afar.
She flew back in disarray from deep within the Sun, shaking her numb arm.
"Susan, you're strong now, but Tony's wedding is about to start!"
Ju Ziyun also surfaced from the plasma sea, her armor still self-repairing: "Damn, Susan, you're this strong now?!"
Martina rubbed her shoulder with a wry smile: "I suggest we move the fight elsewhere—my shoulder hurts."
Seeing the scene, Susan's momentum vanished instantly.
She scratched her head sheepishly: "Sorry, I'm still getting used to the new power."
Bai Ye stepped out of the sealed space, dismissed the seal with a wave, and studied Susanthoughtfully:
"Your evolution is accelerating; it looks like you'll advance again soon."
Susan looked at herself and nodded, about to speak, but Wanda cut in.
Wanda leaned close to Susan and stared into her eyes:
"Wait, those star-specks in your eyes—could they be…"
"Universal reflection," Bai Ye confirmed, nodding at Wanda's guess.
"Susan has begun to brush the fringe of the Multiverse."
The group fell silent for a moment, then Ju Ziyun burst out laughing:
"Oh my! Great! Now we've got a better shot against the Beyonders!"
"Don't celebrate yet." Bai Ye lifted his gaze toward the void.
"Susan's evolution will speed up their notice; these hunters love killing gods who interfere with their experiments. Let's go—time to head back."
As his words faded, the golden space-time bubble slowly contracted.
Everyone returned to the normal timestream; before them the Sun still burned quietly, as if nothing had happened… Earth, Long Island Villa district.
Early-morning sunlight streamed through the floor-to-ceiling windows into the bedroom where Tony Stark and Pepper Potts had just awakened.
"Oh my God, Tony! We overslept!"
Pepper dashed into the bathroom, splashing cold water on her face, her voice tinged with chagrin.
"The guests should already be on their way!"
Tony stood beside her, a toothbrush in his mouth, mumbling indistinctly:
"Don't worry, dear, we're the stars of the show today!"
He spat out the mouthwash and flashed his trademark confident grin: "They'll all have to wait for us!"
Pepper glared at him through the mirror, though her lips curved upward: "You're right—we're the leads."
Tony leaned in, kissed her cheek, and slipped an arm around her waist.
Pepper laughed and gave him a playful push: "Stop it—we need to get dressed, now!"
Today was their lucky day; both were elated, a moment worth remembering.
They parted quickly, each heading to their own walk-in closet.
While pulling on her jacket Pepper called out:
"I still have to put on the wedding dress, do my hair, my makeup—oh God, there's no time!"
Tony's voice came from next door: "I've got to suit up too—Jarvis, confirm the wedding-site setup for me!"
Just then Pepper froze, poking her head out to ask:
"By the way, where's Bai Ye? Isn't he back yet? It's the wedding day!"
At Pepper's words Tony's dressing motion paused.
He walked to the window, gazed toward the distant sky, frowned slightly, then relaxed.
Turning around, he said with certainty: "He'll come—I trust him."
"All right, let's handle our part first."
Pepper nodded, taking a deep breath: "My mum must already be waiting!"
Tony stepped over and gently squeezed her shoulder, smiling: "We're moving fast, dear."
While Tony and Pepper were getting ready…
Chapter 264
At Stark Tower, the wedding-planning crew was putting the finishing touches on the venue.
Flowers, lights, red carpet—everything was arranged exactly to Pepper and Tony's taste.
Colonel Rhodes stood to the side, wineglass in hand, and said to Banner beside him,
"Where are Tony and Pepper? If they don't show soon, the guests will beat them here."
Behind them, every Avenger had already arrived.
But this wasn't a mission; everyone was in formal dress.
Today was the wedding of their current Director—Tony Stark.
Hearing Rhodes, Banner shrugged. "Knowing Tony, he'll either make a grand entrance or be flat-out late."
"Knowing Tony, he'll either make a grand entrance or be flat-out late."
Just then, Jarvis's voice came through the speakers:
"Mr. Rhodes, Ms. Potts and Mr. Stark are expected in fifty minutes."
Rhodes raised an eyebrow. "So they finally rolled out of bed."
Banner chuckled. "A hundred bucks says Tony stayed up tweaking the armor again."
Rhodes shook his head. "No bet. That's a given."
Outside a Villa on Long Island
Tony and Pepper, finally ready, stepped onto the porch.
Pepper was still adjusting an earring, nerves showing.
Tony squeezed her hand. "Relax. Today will be perfect."
She drew a deep breath and smiled. "I know. I just hope Bai Ye makes it."
Tony glanced skyward, muttering, "If that guy's late, I'm donating his espresso machine to S.H.I.E.L.D."
Pepper laughed. "When did you steal his coffee machine?"
Tony winked slyly. "Last time I visited his Villa."
They parted to board separate cars.
Pepper waved and climbed into another vehicle.
Tony lingered at the door, straightening his cufflinks.
Happy had the car parked right at the steps.
"Boss, big day today."
Happy grinned, opened the door with a flourish.
"Don't be nervous—you're the great Tony Stark."
Tony snorted and climbed in. "Who's nervous? I'm just debating last-minute edits to my vows."
Happy shut the door, buckled up. "Change them or not—you'll improvise anyway."
Tony raised an eyebrow, laughing. "You still know me best, Happy."
Happy started the engine, glancing in the mirror.
"Miss Potts just left; we'd better hustle!"
Tony nodded, eyes on the window.
Pepper's car was pulling away, white gown flashing behind the glass.
The sight tugged a smile onto his lips.
Happy caught the look and teased,
"Boss, missing her already? It's been five minutes."
Tony snapped back to a stern face. "Eyes on the road. Scratch the paint today and I'll reassign you to Rhodes."
Happy straightened instantly. "Yes, boss."
In the other car, Pepper smoothed her gown and inhaled.
The driver smiled into the mirror. "Ms. Potts, we'll reach the venue in twenty, traffic willing."
She nodded, but her nerves betrayed her.
Her phone buzzed—a message popped up.
Tony: [Photo of Tony flashing a V-sign from his car]
Tony: Guess whose ride's faster?
Pepper laughed, typing back: No speeding or Happy'll lose it.
She'd barely sent it when Tony replied with a shrugging emoji.
Pepper slipped the phone away and watched the scenery roll past.
Sunlight spilled over Long Island's roads, layered shadows dancing—everything felt perfect.
On the highway, Happy's car cruised steadily.
Suddenly Tony called out, "Happy, take a detour."
Happy blinked. "Huh? But the venue's at Stark—"
Tony cut in. "I know. Let's use the coastal road."
Happy eyed him. "Boss, checking if Mr. Bai's back?"
Tony put on an innocent face. "What? I just want some ocean breeze to unwind."
Tony put on an innocent face. "What? I just want some ocean breeze to unwind."
Happy sighed, but still flicked the turn signal and yanked the wheel.
"If Miss Pepper asks, I'm not taking the blame."
Tony lounged in the seat, grinning slyly. "Relax, she's used to it."
The car swung onto the Coastal Highway, the blue sea glittering beneath the sun.
Staring into the distance, Tony felt a nervous flicker of anticipation.
He hoped Bai Ye was back—and hadn't brought any end-of-the-World news with him. Just as Tonyheaded for Bai Ye's Villa, Bai Ye himself stepped into the living room with Wanda, Ju Ziyun, Susan, and Martina right behind him.
Before they could steady themselves, illusion dream's electronic voice drifted from the ceiling.
"Sir, Mr. Stark's wedding ceremony begins in one hour."
Wanda blinked, chagrined. "So soon? We have to change—fast!"
Ju Ziyun checked the time; urgency flashed in her eyes. "It's tight."
Martina stayed calm, arms folded. "Don't worry, we'll make it."
After all, as a human-shaped allspark, she could swap outfits in an instant.
Susan rolled her eyes at Wanda. "Wanda, have you forgotten who you are?"
Wanda blinked. "What do you mean?"
Bai Ye smiled and finished Susan's thought. "Wanda, you're the Scarlet Witch. Even without us, you could use Chaos Magic to rewrite reality and dress us all in a snap."
Everyone froze, then burst into friendly laughter.
Wanda slapped her forehead, exasperated. "Oh—right!"
But she quickly shook her head, resolute. "Still, we'd better hurry. We promised Pepper we'd be on time."
Bai Ye nodded, said nothing more, and snapped his fingers.
Whoosh!
A golden flash engulfed them; the next second, everyone's clothes had transformed.
Bai Ye wore an impeccably tailored black suit that clung to his broad chest and powerful frame.
Wanda shimmered in a dark-red gown whose hem rippled like flames, matching her scarlet hair.
Ju Ziyun chose a silver-white dress—simple, cold, and striking.
Susan floated in a sky-blue off-shoulder gown that made her alabaster skin even whiter.
Martina dazzled in a gold high-slit dress; reshaped by the allspark, her taller, curvier figure looked statuesque.
Susan looked Bai Ye up and down, raised an eyebrow, and teased, "Of course it's you, Bai. That physique in a suit should be illegal."
Wanda hid a giggle behind her hand, eyes locked on Bai Ye. "Definitely beats how Hawkeye and the others usually dress."
Bai Ye gave a helpless shake of his head and gestured toward the door. "Let's go. If we drag this out, Tony will start complaining."
They shared a smile; space twisted, and the five of them vanished from the Villa.
Meanwhile, a black Luxury Wedding Car cruised smoothly along the coastal road.
Sunlight slanted through the windows; a sea breeze carried the scent of freedom.
Tony Stark leaned back, fingers brushing the watch on his wrist—a gift from Pepper, understated and exquisite.
He gazed at the sapphire ocean outside, a faint smile playing on his lips.
"Happy, where are we?" Tony asked lazily.
Happy glanced at him in the rear-view mirror, grinning. "Almost past Mr. Bai Ye's Villa, boss."
Tony chuckled softly. "Oh? That guy's Villa? Hope he's back—180!"
Happy couldn't help laughing. "Boss, Mr. Bai's a god—coming back is easy!"
Tony rolled his eyes and muttered, "That guy better not pull any surprises today, or I'll—"
Screech!
Happy braked hard; tires shrieked against asphalt.
What the—
Tony lurched forward, almost slamming into the front seat, eyes wide. What the heck just happened?!
"Happy! What are you doing?"
Happy pointed through the windshield. "Boss! It's Mr. Bai Ye!"
Chapter 265
Tony was stunned, and stretched his neck to look forward!
In the sky ahead, five figures were suspended quietly.
Bai Ye was wearing a black suit, his black pupils as dazzling as black gemstones in the sunlight.
Behind him, Wanda, Ju Ziyun, Susan, and Martina were also suspended, their postures elegant and calm.
Tony blinked, then smiled and spread his hands:
"Okay! This is a real surprise."
Bai Ye smiled slightly, raised his hand, and a soft golden light fell from his palm, enveloping the entire car.
Before Tony could react, a burst of white light suddenly appeared before his eyes.
Whoosh!
The next second, Tony felt dizzy, and when he opened his eyes again, he and Happy were still sitting in the car.
But outside the car was the front entrance of Stark Tower!
Faced with this scene, Happy, who had never experienced Bai Ye's divine power, was directly stunned.
"Holy sh*t!"
Happy's eyes widened, his voice stuck in his throat.
Tony was not surprised. Bai Ye was a god, so it was normal for him to have some strange abilities.
It was just that the sudden teleportation caught him a little off guard.
After taking a deep breath and adjusting himself, Tony suddenly pushed open the car door and strode out.
Bai Ye was standing at the entrance of the building, with Wanda and the other women behind him, looking at Tony with smiles on their faces.
I have to say, Tony is dressed quite stylishly today.
"How is it? A surprise?" Bai Ye said with a smile.
Tony took a deep breath, then couldn't help laughing: "This is not a surprise, but a shock, buddy!"
Bai Ye shrugged and joked, "Today is the most important day for my little brother Tony Stark, and I promised I would come."
Tony looked at him, his smile gradually softening.
He opened his arms, strode forward, and hugged Bai Ye tightly.
"Thank you, Bai, my boss," he whispered.
Bai Ye patted him on the back and said with a smile, "Happy wedding, Tony."
After letting go of the hug, Bai Ye took a step back and winked at him.
"We'll go up first, you come up slowly."
Just as Tony was about to say something, Bai Ye and the five women disappeared in place with a whoosh.
Tony was stunned for a second, then shook his head and laughed, complaining:
"This guy is as self-willed as ever!"
After Tony finished complaining, he turned around and patted Happy, who was still dazed, and shouted:
"Let's go, Happy! If you dawdle any longer, Pepper will get impatient!"
Happy then came back to his senses and quickly followed: "Boss, what was that just now?"
"Don't ask."
Tony interrupted him with a smile and said casually, "Today is my wedding, and I don't want to be confused by words like magic and teleportation."
Happy smiled knowingly when he heard this: "Understood, boss."
The two strode towards the entrance of the building, and upstairs, the wedding bells were already faintly ringing.
The top floor of Stark Tower was crowded with people, and the flashes of cameras rose and fell.
Outside the building, dense crowds of reporters squeezed on both sides of the red carpet, aiming their cameras at every guest who arrived.
They came from major news media around the World, and today's wedding is destined to become the focus of the World.
"This is a live report from the New York Daily! The wedding of the century between Tony Stark and Pepper Potts is about to begin!"
A blonde female reporter said excitedly to the camera.
"The Avengers are all present, this may be the grandest celebrity wedding of the year!"
"[Global Daily] is broadcasting live for you!"
Another male reporter held up the microphone, his voice loud.
"Iron Man's wedding is attracting global attention. We have just seen the Hulk, Black Widow, Spider-Man and other Avengers enter!"
Today is Tony's wedding, and he should be the protagonist today.
But everyone's eyes seemed to be waiting for another heavyweight guest.
At the wedding scene, the open-air venue was decorated like a dream.
Pure white flower arches, crystal ornaments, rose-covered red carpets, and the magnificent view of the New York skyline in the distance, everything was as perfect as a fairy tale scene.
The members of the Avengers had already arrived and were chatting in small groups.
Thor, this rough guy, was wearing a black suit today, handsome and tall, and was talking to Beast in a low voice.
"Tony, this guy, made the wedding more grand than saving the World," Thor said jealously.
"He's always been like this." Beast smiled and said bluntly, "However, he deserves it all."
On the other side, Wolverine Logan held a glass of champagne and patted Banner on the shoulder boldly.
"Come on, today is a Happy day, even Hulk should come out for a drink!"
Banner pushed his glasses and said with a helpless smile, "Hulk is very quiet today. He probably knows he can't ruin Tony's wedding."
Hawkeye watched Natasha look around, so he walked up to her and handed her a glass of wine.
"What are you looking for?"
Natasha took the wine glass, the corners of her lips slightly raised: "I was wondering if Bai Ye would come.~"
"Bai Ye?" Hawkeye raised his eyebrows.
"He is our boss, Tony should have invited him, right?"
"He invited him."
Natasha nodded, "But you know, his whereabouts are uncertain."
Just then, there was a sudden commotion at the entrance of the venue.
The crowd automatically separated, and the flashes of cameras flashed wildly.
"God! It's God!"
A reporter next to him suddenly interrupted excitedly, and the camera instantly turned to the sky.
Above the clouds, a golden light cut through the sky.
"Boom!"
Bai Ye descended from the sky with Wanda, Ju Ziyun, Susan, and Martina.
The moment his figure landed, the entire scene erupted in a deafening scream, and the reporters went completely crazy.
"My Lord! Look over here!"
"Mr. Bai! What are your views on the situation in the Middle East?!"
"What is your private relationship with Mr. Stark like?!"
The flashes of cameras on the scene were almost connected into a white light, and the members of the Avengers stood aside with subtle expressions.
Nick Fury sighed when he saw this: "I knew it would be like this!"
Power Princess chuckled: "Tony's wedding limelight has been stolen."
Dr. Spectrum crossed his arms and complained: "The whole World is waiting for God, who remembers who is getting married today?"
Everyone was looking forward to Bai Ye's appearance, after all, he is recognized as the most powerful existence on this Planet.
On the red carpet, Bai Ye nodded politely to the reporters, and then led the four women straight to the main wedding venue.
At this time, a Korean reporter shouted incoherently:
"My Lord! A disaster has occurred in Korea again! Please save us!"
Bai Ye paused and turned his head to respond: "I think you should ask for help from the big brother next to you."
Seeing Bai Ye take the initiative to speak, the reporters exploded again and wanted to continue asking questions.
The crowd stirred again, the elevator door opened, and Tony Stark walked in alone.
He was wearing a perfectly tailored black suit, his tie slightly loosened, with his usual chic and unruly manner.
Tony smiled and waved to everyone, but his eyes scanned the guests, as if looking for something.
"Tony!"
Colonel Rhodes stepped forward, patted him on the shoulder, and asked, "Hasn't Pepper arrived yet?"
"Soon."
Tony shrugged, his tone relaxed, but his eyes still couldn't help but glance at the entrance.
"So anxious?" Rhodes raised his eyebrows.
Tony shook his head and smiled, "I was wondering if anyone would come to make trouble."
Rhodes laughed: "Are you still worried about that? The World is like this now."
"Of course, Bai promised me!"
Just as Tony and Rhodes were talking, the music suddenly changed, and the melodious wedding march sounded.
The audience instantly quieted down, and everyone's eyes turned to the end of the red carpet.
That's right, the heroine of today is here!
Pepper was wearing a pure white wedding dress, her veil lightly raised, and she was standing at the door, smiling at everyone.
Tony's eyes instantly locked on her, and the smile on his lips was gentle.
Bai Ye stood in the guest seat, watching this scene and Tsk tsk smiling.
After so long, Tony and Pepper are finally together.
Although it's like this in the movies, seeing it with your own eyes is different.
Everyone present watched this scene quietly.
The sun shone down, the breeze blew gently, at this moment, there was no crisis, no war, only the purest happiness.
As a friend and boss, Bai Ye whispered a heartfelt blessing:
"Congratulations, Tony."
The melodious wedding march flowed slowly, and the sunlight shone through the glass dome, covering the entire venue in a sacred halo.
The guests stood up one after another, their eyes turned to the bride walking onto the stage.
Pepper took her mother's arm and slowly stepped onto the steps.
She was wearing a pure white wedding dress, the skirt falling lightly, the snow-white lace outlining the silhouette, and the veil fluttering slightly with her steps.
Her lips contained a gentle smile, and her eyes looking at Tony were full of happiness.
Tony stood at the other end of the red carpet, wearing a suit and a white rose on his chest.
His eyes followed Pepper closely, and the smile on his lips gradually solidified into an almost devout focus.
At this moment, the whole World seemed to be quiet.
Chapter 266
Nick Fury stood to the side, pride in his eyes; Natasha tilted her head slightly, her gaze full of blessing…
Hawkeye smiled and even murmured something to Banner, who adjusted his glasses and nodded with a laugh.
Bai Ye stood among the guests with the four women, watching the scene with calm eyes.
Wanda gently slipped her arm through Bai Ye's and whispered, "Sister Pepper looks so beautiful."
Pepper stepped forward; the flowers lining both sides of the red carpet swayed gently with each of her steps.
Her mother patted her hand lightly, tears glistening in her eyes.
Finally the two halted midway down the aisle, and Mrs. Potts solemnly placed Pepper's hand into Tony's.
"Take good care of her," Pepper's mother said softly.
Tony tightened his grip on Pepper's hand, his voice low and resolute: "I will!"
Pepper gazed at him, her smile deepening.
The Priest smiled at the couple and slowly began,
"Today we are gathered here to witness the love between Mr. Tony Stark and Ms. Pepper Potts…"
As the Priest spoke, Bai Ye's gaze swept across the assembly.
Avengers, friends—even the reporters hidden among the crowd—every face wore the same expression.
Who could have imagined that the once-cynical playboy would now stand here, eyes firm, holding someone's hand and pledging a lifetime of commitment?
The Priest gently looked around and said with a smile,
"Before the couple exchange vows, by tradition, is there a family member or friend who would like to offer a blessing?"
Hearing this, Tony's expression instantly turned playful.
He took the microphone and locked his gaze on Bai Ye among the guests.
"Looks like our Mr. Deity is up next!"
Tony's voice carried through the speakers in his trademark teasing tone.
Every eye in the room snapped to Bai Ye.
Wanda, Ju Ziyun, Susan and Martina all turned to him, amusement in their eyes.
Wanda nudged his arm and whispered, "Go on, Mr. Deity."
Bai Ye shook his head with a soft laugh, yet stood up quite unhurriedly.
Knowing Tony, he'd expected this stunt all along!
He strode toward the stage, his black suit looking especially sharp under the lights.
"Hey, don't be nervous," Tony whispered as he approached.
"Just pretend you're saving the World."
Bai Ye hugged both Tony and Pepper, then took the microphone.
He scanned the crowd—Avengers, dignitaries, friends, relatives, and reporters with cameras raised.
Seeing them, Bai Ye smiled faintly and began,
"First off, I have to say, for Tony to find someone willing to put up with all his genius ideas…"
"…is even more incredible than me lifting a planet."
The moment the words left his lips, laughter erupted across the hall.
Tony clutched his chest in mock pain while Pepper covered her mouth, giggling.
"I met Tony a long time ago," Bai Ye continued.
"Back when he'd just built his first Iron Man Armor and was an insufferably proud scientist, I took him to space and he asked who on earth I was."
Everyone laughed; the answer was obvious.
Bai Ye paused deliberately, mimicking Tony's expression then: "I said, can't you guess?"
Someone in the pews immediately shouted "Deity!", sparking more good-natured laughter.
"We've been through a lot together," Bai Ye went on, his tone turning playful.
"From parallel-World invasions to World-ending crises, we've seen it all." He looked at Tony.
"But today, I finally see him do something truly brave—promising to love one person for life, in front of the whole World."
Pepper's eyes reddened; Tony's expression became utterly serious.
"So," Bai Ye raised the microphone,
"I give you my heartfelt blessing. Knowing this Universe as I do, I can say for certain…"
He deliberately stretched the pause, drawing another wave of laughter.
"…the two of you will stay together for life!"
Applause and cheers instantly filled the hall.
Bai Ye lowered the mic; Tony stepped forward and hugged him hard, whispering, "Thanks, Bai!"
Bai Ye patted Tony's shoulder and walked down the steps.
As he passed Wanda, she discreetly squeezed his hand, pride shining in her eyes.
The Priest smiled and stepped forward again. "Now let us continue this sacred ceremony…"
At this moment there were no superheroes, no crisis—only purest happiness and promise.
The Priest's voice continued: "Mr. Tony Stark, do you take..."
Tony didn't answer right away; he drew a deep breath and suddenly turned toward Bai Ye.
The corner of his mouth lifted in that familiar, roguish grin, and he mouthed something soundlessly.
Bai Ye arched an eyebrow, then chuckled and gave an almost imperceptible nod.
Only then did Tony turn back to Pepper, his voice clear and steady:
"I do!"
Pepper's eyes glistened, but her smile was radiant.
"I do too!"
The Priest smiled and declared: "You may now kiss the bride."
Tony gently lifted Pepper's veil, cupped her face, and, before everyone, bent to kiss her.
Applause thundered, cheers erupted.
At that moment a shaft of sunlight poured down, gilding the couple in a halo of gold.
Bai Ye watched, a faint smile on his lips; everything was understood without words.
Perhaps this was the finest ending heroes could hope for... As the ceremony closed, mellow jazz began to play and waiters threaded through the guests with champagne and delicate canapés.
The crystal chandelier's glow merged with the sunset outside, turning the banquet hall into a dreamscape.
Arm in arm, Tony and Pepper drifted among their guests, faces lit with happiness.
"Bruce!" Tony raised his glass toward Banner.
"If the Hulk dares crash my party today, I'll have Bai chuck you into the Sun to cool off."
Banner adjusted his glasses and laughed helplessly. "Relax, he's behaving himself today."
Pepper gave Tony's arm a light pinch and smiled apologetically at Banner.
"Don't mind him, Bruce; we're so glad you came."
Nearby, Power Princess and Dr. Spectrum were talking by the French windows.
Tony led Pepper over and bowed theatrically.
"When Wonder Woman shows up, you'd think there was a villain around."
Power Princess laughed and shook her head. "Save it, Stark—today you're the star."
Dr. Spectrum lifted his champagne. "Congratulations, you two."
"Thanks, Doc."
Pepper thanked him softly, then asked, "I hear you and Spider-Man have been getting along well?"
Dr. Spectrum's expression turned wry. "Don't get me started—his crazy ideas never end."
Everyone burst into laughter at the helplessness practically dripping from his words.
Across the room, Bai Ye sat with Wanda and the others at a round table by the window.
Susan was happily sampling wedding desserts, Ju Ziyun sipped champagne with elegant restraint, and Martina was demolishing every dish in sight.
"dear," Wanda murmured, arm linked through Bai Ye's.
"Aren't you going to toast Tony?"
Bai Ye swirled his glass and smiled.
"Let him enjoy being the center of attention a while longer."
Just then Tony's voice rang out behind them.
"Well, well, look who's hiding here—our resident god?"
He pulled Pepper over, cheeks flushed with tipsy delight.
"Come!"
Tony hoisted a bottle with heroic flourish. "Tonight nobody leaves sober!"
Pepper rolled her eyes and gently stayed his hand. "dear, don't forget we still have to dance."
Tony blinked innocently. "So? I can fly without the armor—what's a little tipsy dancing?"
Wanda stifled a laugh. "Sis Pepper, you're in for a lifetime of this."
Pepper shook her head in resignation, eyes full of fondness.
Bai Ye chuckled and gave an equally helpless shrug.
But knowing Tony's antics, Bai Ye simply rose, raised his glass, and called, "To the newly-weds!"
Glasses clinked in sparkling chorus beneath the chandeliers.
At the center of the hall the band struck up the first dance.
Tony cocked an eyebrow and offered Pepper his hand like a true gentleman.
"May I have this dance, my dear?"
Pepper laid her hand in his; they shared a smile and glided onto the floor.
To the music they twirled beneath everyone's gaze.
His steps were far from graceful, but utterly sincere.
Pepper spun like a butterfly within his arms.
Bai Ye leaned against the window, quietly taking it all in.
He had already asked illusion dream to record every moment—such scenes were priceless.
