Chapter 500 - Ch: 267-275

Ch: 267-275

Chapter 267

Wanda slipped closer and slipped her arm through his. "What are you thinking about?"

"Nothing." Bai Ye said softly, "I just feel that these calm days are wonderful."

Outside the window, the lights of New York flickered on one after another, starlight mingling with the glow of the city.

At this moment there was no crisis, no battle—only the most ordinary happiness.

On the dance floor Tony suddenly turned, winked at Bai Ye and mouthed:

"Your turn."

Bai Ye shook his head with a laugh and downed the drink in his hand.

"No dancing; we've got guests to greet."

Wanda blinked. "Guests? The banquet's started—who still hasn't arrived?"

Susan, Martina and Ju Ziyun curiously gathered round.

"What's up, Bai?" Martina asked, eyes sparkling.

Bai Ye's gaze pierced through the French windows toward the starry sky. "Let's talk outside."

The four women exchanged glances; though puzzled, they all nodded.

Bai Ye signaled to Tony on the stage, and the five of them vanished instantly.

Tony stood frozen, champagne glass in hand, while the guests looked at one another.

"Did something happen?"

Thor wandered over, bottle in tow, and muttered to Banner.

Banner adjusted his glasses and shrugged; he clearly had no idea either.

"No clue—but if Bai Ye's handling it personally..."

"...then it's none of our business."

T'Challa appeared beside them, champagne raised, and calmly finished the sentence.

The three men grinned, clinked glasses and drank.

Outside Stark Tower the night wind howled, New York's lights glimmering far below.

Bai Ye stood at the edge of the roof, his magic cloak flapping.

"The cartographer is coming," he told Wanda and the others.

"The scavengers of the Beyonders."

Susan's hands shimmered with energy. "The ones you said erase surviving Universes?"

"Exactly."

Bai Ye nodded and went on:

"Every Earth that should have been destroyed in a cosmic collision but survived is marked and purged by them."

The moment he finished, the entire night sky twisted.

Stars winked out one by one, replaced by suffocating nothingness.

From the void a colossal silhouette slowly emerged.

A terrifying being made of pure geometric shapes.

Its body was woven from countless projections of glittering galaxies—each point of light a Universe it had erased.

Its head bore a huge single eye ceaselessly scanning Earth's data.

[Anomaly detected: Universe Earth-1616 (white night universe)]

[This Universe should have perished in the first incursion.]

[Interference source detected—locating...]

Chaos Magic crackled between Wanda's fingers. "What's it saying?"

"It's announcing our death sentence." Bai Ye smiled confidently. "Too bad I disagree."

The cartographer's eye locked onto Bai Ye and emitted a piercing mechanical screech:

[Primary interference source confirmed: Outsider!]

[Commencing purge protocol.]

A blinding white beam shot from its core; wherever it passed, space was erased into blankness.

"I'll play with him."

Bai Ye instantly blocked the four women, his golden Bio-Force Field blazing.

White light collided with the Force Field, releasing an Earth-shaking roar.

Stark Tower shook violently; every pane in the ballroom shattered.

"Jarvis—initiate full evacuation!"

Tony's armor snapped into place, shielding Pepper beside him.

On the roof, Martina's Spark Energy formed a sword of light that slashed at the cartographer.

"Taste this!"

Susan's force-blast and Ju Ziyun's laser struck simultaneously.

Wanda's Chaos Magic tore reality, trying to rewrite the cartographer's very foundation.

But every attack vanished like a stone in the sea; the cartographer merely rippled and re-formed.

Unlike previous foes, the cartographer had been engineered by the Beyonders to resist magic and absorb conventional assaults.

[Ineffective attack.]

[Beginning total purge.]

Its body split into countless smaller projections, each charging a devastating white beam.

"Stand back!"

Bai Ye soared upward, power gathering around him.

"I'll handle it."

Crimson light—unlike anything seen before—burst from his hand.

Not mere energy, but reality-revision incarnate.

"Thought only you could erase things?"

Bai Ye glared; the red light lanced out.

Crimson and white collided mid-air, space shattering like a broken mirror...

As Bai Ye's power struck, the cartographer's form destabilized, alarms shrieking.

[Warning! Warning!]

[Higher-dimensional reality interference detected!]

[System overload!]

Bai Ye sneered, flashed to the cartographer and plunged his right hand into its core.

"Get out of my Universe!"

Brilliant gold erupted from his palm, flooding the entity.

The sky turned golden; New Yorkers stared upwards in awe.

The shock-wave spread but was held aloft by Wanda and Susan to spare the city.

High above, the cartographer disintegrated, its galaxy projections winking out one by one.

Its huge eye flickered in shock; it knew the mission had failed.

But the Beyonders' plan could not fail—such insects could not stop the great Master!

[Purge failed.]

[Uploading data—warning other cartographers!]

With a final blinding flash the entity crumbled into dust and vanished.

The night calmed; stars re-kindled across the sky.

Bai Ye landed slowly, cloak billowing.

Wanda hurried over, worry in her eyes. "Bai, are you all right?"

"Fine."

He shook his head and looked up.

"But this is only the beginning; every cartographer now knows this Universe is an anomaly."

The four women exchanged glances, understanding dawning.

The Beyonders would always be a looming threat.

Over Stark's PA system Tony's voice rang out:

"Hey, Bai—if you're done, come cut the cake! Jarvis says the champagne tower toppled!"

Bai Ye couldn't help laughing—classic Tony.

He shook his head and turned to the women. "Let's go—at least let Tony finish his wedding tonight."

They re-entered the ballroom; the Avengers had the situation under control.

Super-heroes were helping waiters right the tables.

Tony flipped up his face-plate and strolled over, half-full glass in hand.

"So that was the other threat? The Great Annihilator? Dark Priest? Or cartographer?"

Bai Ye smiled. "cartographer—and it's only a scavenger. The real headache is the Beyonders behind it."

"Got it." Tony drained his glass.

"Then starting tomorrow, we get serious."

He turned to the rattled guests with that trademark Stark grin.

"Folks, that was just the warm-up—now the wedding continues!"

Music resumed and the hall gradually regained its cheer.

Yet Bai Ye knew the battle had only begun.

He gazed through the window, sight piercing the Multiverse.

Countless cartographers were purging other Universes even now.

And this Universe would be the first to say no to the Beyonders...

In a realm where cosmic law itself blurred, a golden hall stood eternal.

Unbound by time or space, it had existed since before creation and would endure forever.

At its center a towering golden figure slowly opened his eyes.

Chapter 268

Battle scars flowed across his Golden Armor, every mark seeming to engrave the rise and fall of countless civilizations.

Beneath his helm, his gaze pierced the void, staring straight at truths mortals could never grasp.

In his left hand, a thick Chain clattered dully.

The other end shackled the White-Haired Hulk, who growled yet dared not truly struggle.

This monster, once the destroyer of myriad dimensions, was now only a caged beast beside the throne.

"Quiet, old thing."

Emperor Thanos' voice rang like a mighty bell, shaking the grand hall.

His right hand toyed with the Dark-Blue Cube.

It was a Concept Crystal extracted from an erased Universe, holding that World's final lament.

Suddenly he lifted his head, sight piercing endless dimensions to land upon a Universe where variables were stirring.

"The cartographer failed?"

Emperor Thanos' low murmur echoed through the hall.

He saw the figure in black battle-garb.

And he saw the eyes that had once met his own.

"…It's you again! The one who cannot be probed?"

He shifted slightly; the Chain clattered and the White-Haired Hulk shifted restlessly.

Emperor Thanos stepped on the Chain, gaze still fixed upon the distance.

"The Punisher should have met the Three Witches by now."

He thought of his most capable lieutenant—Frank Castle of Earth, transformed into the Ghost Rider.

Unlike common spirits of vengeance, this knight fused cosmic-level energy; the ultimate weapon he had personally subdued.

"That damned realm."

Emperor Thanos frowned in disgust at the thought of the place.

The Cosmic Graveyard where The Three Fates Witches dwelt had the most troublesome rules.

No living being could enter; even one such as he could not force his way through.

Fortunately, the dead Ghost Rider could.

As hell's envoy, an incarnation of the deceased, he could move unhindered through that forbidden land.

"Soon."

Emperor Thanos clenched the cube, its azure light reflecting upon his cold mask.

"Once I reweave the threads of fate…"

Before he could finish, the White-Haired Hulk let out a hoarse laugh: "You'll fail, like all of us failures."

"Fail?"

With regal authority, he tightened the Chain, drawing a pained howl from the old Hulk.

"When I gather every Universe's Concept Crystals, when I reshape the web of destiny, even the supreme beings will have to admit—"

He crushed the cube; blinding light erupted.

"—I alone am supreme."

Beyond the hall, the void seemed to carry the lament of countless Universes…

In a distant dimension far from Emperor Thanos.

Ghost Rider roared through the blood-red sky on his Hell-Cycle, racing toward The Three Fates Witches' domain.

Flaming wheels scorched trails across the void; the skull's sockets blazed with unquenchable vengeance.

Both sides knew the game had only just begun.

Inside the hall, Emperor Thanos rose from his throne, Chains dragging the White-Haired Hulk with a grating metallic screech.

His sight crossed dimensions, tracking Ghost Rider's progress.

The hell-fire skeleton knight tore through the crimson sky, striving for his ideal.

"Soon," he whispered, fingers tightening as though to grasp everything…

Meanwhile, in the Cosmic Graveyard—the realm of The Three Fates Witches.

Ghost Rider's bike crushed across chaotic void, leaving scorched tracks under Hellfire.

This was the Cosmic Graveyard, a forbidden space outside reality where only the dead might tread.

Ahead, a vast pit appeared; before it stood three black-robed witches.

The Three Fates Witches, weavers of all destiny.

"Frank Castle."

The middle Witch lifted her head; starlight flowed within her hollow sockets.

"You should not have come."

Ghost Rider's skeletal jaw grinned, voice furious: "My Master sends his regards."

Frank Castle—now Ghost Rider—felt no pain.

His flesh had long burned away; Hellfire reshaped his bones, and vengeance became eternal flame.

Yet facing The Three Fates Witches, he felt an unfamiliar emotion.

Fear? No—pure, cold fury.

"Frank Castle."

The middle Witch spoke again, voice like thousands whispering.

"You could have rested."

Rest?

His memories were shattered, but some scenes still stabbed like knives—his wife and child's corpses, bullets thudding into flesh, despairing screams.

Once the Punisher, incarnation of vengeance on Earth—now even that right was stripped; he was only a weapon in a greater being's hand.

"I have no choice."

His voice grated like sandpaper; Hellfire surged with his emotion.

The left Witch shook her head, indifferent: "You always had a choice."

The right Witch raised a withered finger, voice hollow: "You simply refused to face it."

Frank recalled Thanos' promise: "Get me what I want, and I'll give you true vengeance."

Vengeance upon whom?

The gangs that murdered his family were long slaughtered by his hand.

Now he was merely a puppet, yet he still yearned to burn.

Ghost Rider flicked his Chain, flames writhing around it.

Then he raised his hand; a golden rune appeared in his palm—the Wedge of Fate Thanos had given him, able to forcibly rewrite the Multiverse's set path.

"My Master demands you rewrite the Multiverse's destiny."

The witches' robes stirred without wind; their voices overlapped like thousands: "Arrogant!" "Fate cannot be defied!" "Even he cannot stand above TOAA!"

Ghost Rider laughed, flames within his skull blazing high. "Then let's test it."

He slammed the rune into the ground.

BOOM!!!

The void-seam quaked; threads of fate twisted and snapped.

Ghost Rider lashed out his Chain; the Hellfire-wreathed links carved burning arcs through the chaos.

His skeletal face was ferocious, burning sockets locked upon the three floating shadows.

But the middle Witch merely crooked a finger—and all motion froze.

The warped threads, the flung Chain, everything hung still.

Slowly the Chain drifted back to Frank.

"Frank Castle."

The Witch lifted her head, face hidden beneath the black hood.

"Your Master is mad to covet the threads of fate."

Frank hesitated, then shouted wildly: "He is nearer the truth than you!"

Before the words faded he hurled the Chain again, flame striking like vipers toward the witches.

Yet the left Witch only raised her hand.

Clap!

The Chain froze mid-air; its flames died instantly.

"Poor puppet," the right Witch sighed, finger slicing down.

Ghost Rider's body twisted violently; bones cracked under unbearable pressure.

His Hellfire was crushed by a higher force; he could not even scream.

"You thought your flames could harm us?"

The Witch's voice carried pity: "All you burn is yourself."

"Did you believe a spark of Hellfire could stand against fate itself?"

Chapter 269

The Witch in the middle glided toward Frank, her black robe billowing without wind.

"Listen, Frank…"

Ghost Rider struggled to lift his head, the flames in his skull flickering.

"You've been exiling yourself all along; your vengeance ended long ago."

Hearing The Three Fates Witches, Frank froze, his struggles ceasing.

He had always known that from the moment he became Ghost Rider, his revenge was merely a self-tormenting carnival.

What Emperor Thanos coveted wasn't his power, but his never-ending hatred—perfect fuel, a perfect puppet.

"Then end it," Ghost Rider rasped.

The three Witches exchanged glances and raised their hands in unison.

Ghost Rider's vision began to blur.

At the instant his bones crumbled, he suddenly saw an illusion.

A World without flames.

A silhouette of him holding his wife and child, walking into the sunset.

At that moment, the middle Witch's palm clenched sharply.

Crack!

Ghost Rider's skeletal body disintegrated, countless burning fragments scattering into the void.

"He will never reach true supremacy."

"We are beings of the Omniverse!"

Golden Grand Hall

The chains shook violently as the White-Haired Hulk groaned in agony.

On the throne, Emperor Thanos's fingers dug deep into the armrests, the muscles beneath his armor tensing.

"It failed."

His voice rumbled like thunder, shaking the entire hall.

The azure cube in his palm flashed violently, reflecting the rage beneath his mask.

He had thought Ghost Rider could at least accomplish something, never expecting the latter to collapse so easily.

"Ridiculous ant," the White-Haired Hulk hoarsely mocked Emperor Thanos.

"Challenging fate itself—you're more laughable than us failures—"

Emperor Thanos stomped, sending the Old Hulk crashing to the ground in pain.

"Shut up!"

Not satisfied, Emperor Thanos tightened the chains further.

The Old Hulk's bones groaned under the strain, yet he kept laughing, the mad cackles echoing through the hall.

Emperor Thanos fell silent, then suddenly sneered.

"Since fate cannot be rewritten—"

He slowly lifted his gaze, piercing through dimensions to lock onto a silent Universe.

There, a pair of black eyes—ones he had observed for a long time—waited.

Their Master existed in an unobservable state, clad in black battle armor, gaze calm.

"Then crush it directly." Emperor Thanos's voice dropped… white night universe.

On the Villa balcony, Bai Ye suddenly raised an eyebrow toward the night sky.

"What is it, dear?" Wanda beside him asked curiously.

"Something just died," Bai Ye murmured.

"Something that had been burning for a long time."

Wanda blinked at the sky but saw nothing.

Countless light-years from Earth, within a cosmic rift, an almost invisible spark drifted, about to vanish into endless darkness.

Bai Ye stood at the rooftop's edge, his eyes glowing violet as he watched the dying spark.

His now-purple pupils contracted slightly as torrents of information flooded his consciousness in an instant.

"Hellfire?"

Bai Ye whispered, tilting his head to study the struggling mote of flame.

"No, this is…"

"dear? What did you find?"

Wanda asked again, concern in her tone.

Bai Ye didn't answer immediately; his eyes were tracing the memory fragments within that spark.

Then he saw the images left inside the Hellfire.

A burning skull, three threads of fate, and a shadow seated upon a Golden Throne.

Bai Ye blinked—wasn't that Ghost Rider and Emperor Thanos?

What was Emperor Thanos up to now?

And… Ghost Rider was dead? After seeing the rest of the memory.

Bai Ye shook his head with a chuckle and explained to Wanda,

"Some madman sent Ghost Rider to provoke The Three Fates Witches; now his pawn is ashes."

Martina stepped forward behind him, asking worriedly, "Do we need to watch out for this?"

Bai Ye withdrew his gaze, letting the spark fade completely.

"No, we need to worry about the player moving the pieces."

At that moment, Bai Ye's Bio-Force Field rippled faintly.

Susan, familiar with Force Fields, sensed the anomaly and appeared at his side, shouting, "Bai! Your armor—"

Everyone watched in surprise as golden lines on Bai Ye's black armor lit up uncontrollably.

A power beyond physical law was converging around him.

"Huh, coming after me?"

Bai Ye looked at his flickering hands and suddenly understood.

Before dying, Ghost Rider had sent something out.

The message was meant for Emperor Thanos, but after Bai Ye intercepted it, it targeted him instead.

On a Quantum Level imperceptible to most, a wisp of Hellfire's ember drifted along Cosmic Strings.

Within that faint flame was sealed Ghost Rider's final memory.

Golden Grand Hall, White-Haired Hulk, azure cube, and… three mighty ancient beings.

After piecing things together, Bai Ye's gaze turned calm as he tried to probe the information converging on his armor.

Soon he saw—not with eyes, but with higher-dimensional perception.

He saw countless parallel Universes floating like bubbles in the void.

And some being was trying to pop every one of those bubbles.

Other than that, he gained nothing more.

Bai Ye's biggest harvest was the last memory shard of Ghost Rider.

Golden Grand Hall, White-Haired Hulk, azure cube, and Emperor Thanos upon the throne.

But those images vanished as the spark extinguished.

Bai Ye wasn't overly familiar with this older Thanos, yet not a stranger either.

In the original comics, Thanos was a killing machine, mighty and seeking only to court Death.

But this Emperor Thanos was clearly a variant; his goal no longer to please Death, but something far crazier.

Bai Ye had considered facing him directly; they had briefly clashed before.

Unfortunately, that golden hall seemed to exist outside the Universe itself.

Even with eyes that could survey the entire Multiverse, Bai Ye couldn't locate that pocket dimension.

Otherwise, given Bai Ye's temperament, he would have gone straight there the moment he discovered it.

Moreover, this Thanos might possess the Cosmic Cube.

If fully mastered, it could reach at least the peak of the Multiverse level.

With luck, Bai Ye might even step into the Omniverse tier.

The artifact's function was simple: omniscience and omnipotence, rewriting reality.

So heaven-defying an item rarely appeared for long even in Marvel's power-packed comics…

At that thought, Bai Ye withdrew his gaze and turned to Wanda and the others with a smile.

"Nothing serious; go rest." He spoke calmly,

Wanda frowned slightly, thoughtful, as if wanting to ask more.

But Bai Ye's gaze made her hold her tongue.

"Alright."

She nodded gently, bade him good-night, and walked into the bedroom.

"Don't stay up too late."

Martina sheathed her lightsaber, her eyes lingering on Bai Ye's face as if to confirm something.

Unfortunately, clever Martina saw nothing, leaving only a dry: "Call us if anything happens."

Susan and Ju Ziyun exchanged glances and said no more.

The four turned away, their footsteps fading down the stairwell.

They didn't need rest; "rest" meant growing stronger.

Bai Ye stood alone in the night, gazing at the distant city lights.

The wind was gentle, clouds drifted, moonlight quietly bathing the Villa's glass walls.

New York's hustle continued—traffic, hurried pedestrians—everything seemed the same.

He closed his eyes, ears catching every sound of the World.

Club music, lovers' whispers, sirens, babies' cries.

Everything was normal—too normal.

Bai Ye slowly opened his eyes, a flicker of curiosity deep within his black pupils.

Ghost Rider's fall, Emperor Thanos's existence, The Three Fates Witches' strike.

Chapter 270

These events, which should have stirred up waves, were now forcibly suppressed by some power—not even a ripple rose.

This wasn't normal; it was nine-tenths wrong.

Unless… someone is manipulating the perception of reality!

His black pupils contracted slightly as Bai Ye opened every sense, straining to catch the faintest anomaly.

Yet the World still ran smoothly, without a single flaw.

But he wasn't worried; the danger of the Beyonders was still far away.

He had plenty of time to grow stronger. Since Emperor Thanos enjoys hide-and-seek, let him play to his heart's content… Universe Graveyard.

The Three Fates Witches still stood upon the vast graveyard, behind them countless Cosmic Deities and fragments of Universes.

But now all their gazes converged on a single point.

A wisp of Hellfire that should have been utterly extinguished floated eerily in the void.

"He should no longer exist," the Witch on the left murmured.

"Unless…"

The Witch on the right reached out to touch the flame and voiced her conclusion: "His obsession has surpassed Death itself."

The Witch in the center fell silent for a moment, then suddenly looked up. "Someone has interfered with our judgment."

The flame quivered slightly, reflecting the rare solemn expressions beneath their black robes… Bai Ye's Villa.

Wanda's eyes snapped open; crimson energy erupted uncontrollably, shattering the training-room walls with countless cracks.

She gasped, the red hair at her forehead soaked with cold sweat.

The dream had been too real.

Red—endless red—and a pair of red eyes watching her from the darkness.

They were no human eyes; they were older, colder, filled with a terror she couldn't comprehend.

Wanda slowly lifted her hand, Chaos Magic swirling in her palm. Hesitating for a second, she finally closed her eyes.

"dear!"

Wanda's voice sounded directly in Bai Ye's ear: "I need to see you—now."

The instant her words ended, Bai Ye's figure flashed into the training room, a golden gleam vanishing as quickly as it came.

He strode closer and gently grasped her shoulders.

"Wanda?" Bai Ye asked in a low, gentle tone. "What happened?"

Wanda's pupils contracted slightly as scarlet Chaos energy seeped out uncontrollably.

Her breathing quickened; the red hair at her forehead clung to pale skin, damp with sweat.

"Something is watching me."

Wanda's voice was soft, yet carried an indescribable pressure.

"Not ordinary observation—it's tasting my fear."

Bai Ye frowned at her words.

He opened every sense; his Bio-Force Field spread silently, covering the entire room, straining to catch any dimensional ripple.

But… there was nothing.

No energy residue, no spatial distortion, not even the faintest magic ripple—this was wrong. Wanda's Chaos Magic should be enough to disturb reality.

If something truly spied on her, it couldn't leave no trace.

Unless… the other party was not in this World!

"Did you see it?" Bai Ye thought of something and asked in a deep voice.

Wanda shook her head. "No, but I heard its name."

She lifted her head; darkness flickered in the depths of her eyes. "It calls itself Chthon."

Chthon, the Death God.

Bai Ye knew the name all too well. When he had been weaker, he had clashed with its power, shattering several Universes.

Chthon—the source of Chaos Magic, one of the most ancient demon gods.

A dark being that existed long before the Universe was born.

Judging by its previous attacks on Bai Ye, it should have been sealed within dimensional crevices, unable to interfere with reality directly.

But there are always exceptions; Wanda's magic originates from it.

If it truly cast its gaze here, it must have a purpose.

"What did it say?" Bai Ye's voice remained steady.

Wanda closed her eyes, as if recalling the dream.

"It didn't speak."

Then she exhaled and whispered:

Instead, it stuffed the concept straight into my mind. It said… 3.7

"My child, have you played enough?"

Suddenly the temperature in the training room plummeted.

Bai Ye's black pupils contracted sharply; he knew this wasn't Wanda's voice.

It was Chthon's will, forcibly manifesting through the resonance of her soul!

Wanda's body shook violently; red energy exploded like a rampage, instantly covering the bedroom walls with cracks.

Bai Ye seized her wrist, golden energy flooding into her body, forcibly suppressing the rampaging Chaos Magic.

"Wanda!"

Bai Ye commanded with authoritative power:

"Look at me!"

Wanda's eyes had turned completely scarlet, yet under Bai Ye's suppression she struggled, fighting to regain control of her body…

"Whi—it's…"

Wanda's voice came in fragments, each word squeezed from the abyss.

Bai Ye didn't hesitate. He pressed his palm to her forehead, golden energy surging like a torrent to scour her spiritual World.

Boom!!!

Both their consciousnesses plunged into a scarlet abyss.

Here there was no space, no time—only endless crimson mist.

And deep within the mist, a pair of black-hole eyes slowly opened.

Chthon.

Its very existence warped reality; a mere gaze could shatter an ordinary soul.

Bai Ye stood within Wanda's spiritual World, golden energy forming a barrier that purified the DeathGod's erosion.

"Get out of her consciousness."

Bai Ye's voice echoed through the Chaos, carrying unquestionable power.

A low laugh came from the mist—not sound, but a tremor acting directly on the soul.

"Boy, do you think you can protect her?"

Chthon's voice resembled the whispers of billions.

"She flows with my blood, bears my authority; she will return to Chaos."

Wanda's figure condensed beside Bai Ye. Her spiritual form was even more fragile than in reality, Chaos energy spilling uncontrollably.

"No!" Wanda clenched her teeth and shouted, "I don't belong to you."

Chthon's laughter grew louder; the entire spiritual World began to collapse.

"Poor child, do you believe your will is your own?"

The mist formed a giant hand that slowly reached for Wanda. "Every spell you cast opens the door for me."

Watching Chthon's arrogant display, Bai Ye's face turned cold, golden light erupting from his entire body.

"Enough!"

The clash of two supreme powers turned the spiritual World upside down.

Chthon's giant hand was burned by the golden light and kept retreating, yet the eyes in the mist became even deeper.

"Interesting!"

The Death God's whisper carried playful curiosity as it sized up Bai Ye and said:

"There's something more delicious on you."

Its gaze tried to pierce Bai Ye's golden barrier, as though seeing a secret deeper inside him.

But it saw nothing—only a power of even higher authority that made even itself pause.

What was this?!

Chthon was instantly shocked!

After a brief silence the mist suddenly began to contract.

"We'll meet again, boy!"

Chthon's voice faded, but not without a parting threat.

"When Chaos devours reality, you will make your choice."

As the last wisp of crimson mist vanished, the spiritual World collapsed with a roar.

Bai Ye and Wanda both opened their eyes at the same time.

The bedroom was a wreck; cracks crawled up the walls to the ceiling, every stick of furniture reduced to dust.

Wanda was drenched in cold sweat, breathing rapidly, but the scarlet in her eyes had faded.

"It's gone?" she asked weakly.

Bai Ye didn't answer immediately; his gaze fell on her wrist.

There, a crimson pattern—like some ancient script—glowed faintly.

It was Chaos's mark.

"Gone for now."

Bai Ye spoke softly; his finger brushed the pattern, golden light erasing it at once.

Wanda followed his gaze, her face pale.

"It marked me?"

Bai Ye nodded, his eyes grave. "Chthon is using your magic to triangulate this Universe; it wants more than just you."

Chapter 271

He lifted his head, as if he could see the endless starry sky through the ceiling.

"What it wants is reality itself."

Outside the window, the New York night remained calm, but at this moment both of them could feel it.

A shadow even more terrifying than a dimensional invasion was approaching.

But Bai Ye wasn't panicking—he already had a new plan.

The air in the training room twisted sharply as Susan, Ju Ziyun and Martina flashed into view.

Their eyes locked onto Wanda at once; her face was deathly pale.

"What happened?"

Susan moved fastest, appearing at Wanda's side in an instant.

Force Field ripples rippled warily around her hands as she scanned the room, energy poised to strike.

Ju Ziyun's Nano-Suit silently coated her body while she swept her gaze around.

"Is this… Chaos Magic going berserk?"

Martina tightened her grip on her lightsaber, but instead of acting rashly she observed sharply and asked, "Where's the enemy?"

Bai Ye stood beside Wanda, thoughts racing.

"It's the Dark God Chthon."

"Chthon?"

Susan frowned slightly, thought for a moment, then asked:

"Doesn't Wanda's Chaos Magic come from him?"

"Exactly." Bai Ye nodded, correcting a mistaken view.

"But he isn't the source—only the strongest host."

Right: Chthon didn't create Chaos; he was the first to discover it.

He found a way to harness its energy and named it Chaos Magic.

And he commands not only that—every dark art is his handiwork.

As one of Marvel's mightiest forces, alongside the Phoenix, Chaos Magic scales from Multiverse to Omniverse.

Everything depends on the host's mental endurance; endure it and you keep growing stronger.

That's why Wanda always seemed mentally unstable in the comics.

Ju Ziyun's brows knitted tightly as something occurred to her. "Wait—the ancient evil god Chthon? The demon sealed by other deities?"

"That's him."

Bai Ye's voice dropped as he continued.

"His siblings are Gaea and Set; his father is the Life-Giver."

Martina's expression froze as if hearing a myth; she asked curiously:

"Chthon is brother to Gaea and Set?"

Then she slowly shook her head and objected:

"That can't be right. I don't remember any Chthon in the myths."

"Besides, Gaea is the Greek Earth Mother and Set is Egypt's god of chaos—how do two myths that don't even brush shoulders become siblings?"

At Martina's adorably clueless words the tense group almost burst out laughing.

Truly the one and only Big Brain Martina—her offhand line landed like a joke others would rack their brains to craft.

After a second of silence Susan covered her face and sighed, "Martina, don't forget—you're not from this Universe. Everything you cited are the rules of your original World."

Martina blinked, scratched her head in embarrassment and gave an awkward laugh. "Sorry."

Bai Ye smiled faintly. This Martina, still adorably dense, had blended in so fast she'd forgotten where she came from.

Shaking his head, Bai Ye went on:

"Chthon is an ancient evil god of our Universe; naturally your World has no record of him. It's a cross-Universe knowledge gap."

Everyone nodded; Susan and Ju Ziyun furrowed their brows.

They had heard Wanda mention Chthon—a very mighty god.

"But the title 'evil god' signals danger. In this Universe he's the source of Chaos Magic, an existence even Dormammu fears," Ju Ziyun added.

Martina nodded, her expression turning grave.

"Since he's now targeting Wanda, we have to respond."

Bai Ye gave a slight nod, then looked at the women and stated plainly:

"Exactly. Chthon is using Chaos Magic to locate Wanda and even trying to enter reality through her power."

"So what do we do?" Susan asked. "If we sever the link by force, could Wanda be in danger?"

Bai Ye smiled playfully and pointed at the ceiling as he began outlining his plan.

"I have an idea."

All four women focused on him at once.

"Chthon wants to open a passage through Wanda—so why don't we flip the mark and Set a trap?"

Wanda's eyes sharpened. "You mean draw him out?"

"Exactly." The more Bai Ye spoke, the more feasible the plan felt.

"Normally we'd sever the link when he's weakest, but I'm not doing that—I intend to track him straight to his doorstep."

The group froze; Ju Ziyun frowned. "The risk is too great."

Martina, however, looked thrilled. "But if we pull it off, we end this threat once and for all."

Wanda was silent for a moment, then turned to Bai Ye. "dear, are you sure you want to do this?"

Bai Ye nodded. "I won't let him pose a hidden danger to you."

Wanda drew a deep breath, her expression turning grave.

As the host of Chaos, Wanda understood better than anyone the terror of the Dark God Chthon.

"Fine—but we must be fully prepared. Chthon isn't an ordinary dimensional demon; he's the embodiment of Chaos itself."

"Then let's do it," Susan said decisively, glancing at Bai Ye.

Bai Ye gave a slight nod and immediately began.

Bai Ye's eyes blazed with fierce violet light, becoming invisible blades that sliced through the veils of reality layer after layer.

Earth's barrier was crossed effortlessly; the wall of the single Universe was silently torn open.

The vast panorama of the Multiverse unfolded before Bai Ye's eyes.

He saw stars flowing like dust, dimensions floating like bubbles, countless gods rising and falling within their own realms.

Soon, Bai Ye's sight inevitably collided with Eternity.

It was a colossal head built from innumerable Universes.

Two eyes, brilliant as galaxies, coldly observed everything within the Multiverse.

As one of Marvel's five supreme cosmic entities, Eternity is space-time incarnate—the living embodiment of universal law.

Bai Ye did not linger; his gaze met Eternity's briefly, then pressed onward.

He was searching for the dimension where Chthon had been sealed.

His sight scoured every corner of the Multiverse for traces of Chthon, sweeping through dimension after dimension.

Dormammu's realm, Cyttorak's Crimson Domain, Mephisto's kingdom on the fringes of Hell… the longer he looked, the more Bai Ye frowned in puzzlement.

Logically, as an ancient evil god,

Chthon would have dealt with these fellow evil deities before his imprisonment.

Their domains should have retained some vestige of his presence.

Yet after all this searching, he hadn't found the slightest clue.

Looks like Chthon really knows how to hide.

Bai Ye chuckled softly, his eyes continuing to reach farther outward.

As his vision extended, he saw countless hidden gods… the Living Tribunal in the Highest Heaven, balancing all things across the Multiverse.

Infinity and Death whispered together in the void, holding dominion over endlessness and demise.

Oblivion lurked in the crevice between being and nothingness, flickering in and out of sight.

Yet none of these places held any sign of Chthon.

How utterly bizarre, Bai Ye thought, brows knitting tightly.

Chthon, the Ancient Dark God and greatest beneficiary of Chaos Magic—his dimension couldn't have simply vanished.

Unless… it lay outside the Multiverse.

Bai Ye's sight pushed onward, past the Multiverse's edge, probing deeper into the void.

His gaze crossed the boundary of the Multiverse, piercing the gaps of nothingness.

Finally, in a chaotic abyss where even rules did not exist, Bai Ye found the hidden dimension.

It was a warped, self-devouring scarlet vortex—an unhealing wound hanging in the void.

At its center, a black throne of bones and chains loomed, a hazy figure seated upon it.

Chthon.

Its mere presence began to tear reality apart.

The Dark God's eyes were twin black holes; a mere exchange of glances could shatter the souls of lesser gods.

Yet the violet radiance in Bai Ye's eyes held steady, flaring even brighter.

Just as Bai Ye had expected, the entire Crimson Dimension was shackled and sealed.

Thick chains, inscribed with flowing golden runes, bound the Chaos Dimension like a cage.

The chains stretched into deeper darkness, anchored by something even more terrifying that kept Chthon suppressed.

It was his divine brothers and sisters who had imprisoned him.

In primordial times, Chthon kept devouring other gods; his siblings eventually decided enough was enough and taught him a lesson.

In the end, he was sealed in this godforsaken place.

The instant Bai Ye laid eyes on Chthon, the god sensed it.

Chthon's lowered head lifted, those abyssal eyes locking directly onto Bai Ye's gaze.

"Hmph? You actually came looking for me!"

The moment their eyes met, Chthon struck—zero-frame startup, no hesitation.

A bolt of chaotic energy shot straight at Bai Ye along the line of their shared gaze!

Chapter 272

Golden light suddenly erupted from Bai Ye; he stood motionless as the dimension-rending energy annihilated itself before him.

Yet not even a scorch mark marred his Battle-Suit.

"That all?" Bai Ye arched a brow, deliberately mocking.

"Locked up so long you've gone rusty?"

Chthon's silence felt more terrifying than any roar.

"Insignificant human!"

Chthon's voice exploded directly beside Bai Ye's ear.

"You dare to gaze upon Chaos?"

Bai Ye answered with a snort. "Still this arrogant while chained?"

The chains snapped taut!

Chthon's form twisted in the mist, yet quickly calmed again.

"Brief provocation!"

Chthon's voice carried icy amusement as he taunted Bai Ye:

"Each time your woman wields Chaos Magic, my shackles loosen. Soon I shall thank her devotion in person."

Bai Ye's eyes swept the chains; their runes belonged to no known Universe, yet their suppressive power was immense.

"Who caged you—397?" Bai Ye asked deliberately.

Chthon froze, falling silent on the spot.

Damn it, this guy always picks the sorest spot!

But he quickly recovered; his laughter made the entire Chaos Dimension tremble.

"You will know soon—when he comes to imprison you as well."

Bai Ye ignored the nonsense, slicing the vision link with a wave.

The next instant his consciousness returned to reality.

"dear! Are you alright?" Wanda asked at once, concerned.

Bai Ye raised a hand to signal he was fine, the violet light in his eyes slowly fading.

"I found Chthon," Bai Ye said quietly. "As we thought, other Gods have imprisoned him."

Everyone nodded, their earlier tension easing.

Yet they grew worried again at Bai Ye's next words.

"But that makes him more dangerous—Chthon is trying to break free."

"And Wanda's Chaos Magic is the key to his arrival in reality."

Wanda looked down at her hands, helpless.

"Then how do we destroy him?" she asked softly.

Bai Ye was silent a moment, then gave a cold laugh. "Simple."

He lifted his gaze to the group, smile at his lips.

"Since someone went to the trouble of locking him up, why not make use of it?"

"Wait—so Chthon's a prisoner?"

Martina rubbed her chin, struck her I-have-a-plan pose, and declared with great wisdom:

"Then wouldn't ignoring him be even better?"

Wanda was exasperated by Martina's less-than-bright idea.

She shook her head and explained word by word:

"But it can still channel Chaos Magic through me. These chains can trap its body, not its will."

Bai Ye glanced at the brightening sky outside, a dangerous curve on his lips.

"Don't worry—whoever dares reach a paw toward my people, I'll chop it off."

A deep light flashed in Bai Ye's eyes as he stared at the paling horizon, thoughts racing.

Chthon is imprisoned between dimensions, yet can still affect reality through Chaos Magic.

He quietly calculated the problems surrounding Chthon.

Those runes on the chains don't belong to any known Universe—

meaning the Gods who imprisoned him are at least Multiverse-level, perhaps higher.

Since Chthon could be sealed, he is not invincible.

If he can siphon power through Wanda's Chaos Magic,

can we reverse the link and invade his dimension?"

Bai Ye's lips curved; the half-formed plan in his mind gradually took shape.

"If we can enter Chthon's Prison in reverse—not as mere consciousness,

but add another layer of seal upon the existing one, or even seize his Chaos Authority?"

"That way we could reach the core of the Chaos Dimension without triggering the outer seal,

and still beat Chthon face to face."

"The only concern is whether we're strong enough to defeat him."

"And that's exactly what I least lack right now."

As the plan refined itself, Bai Ye grew more excited.

"Chaos Magic is one of the Universe's primal forces; mastering it means Wanda need never fear corruption again."

"It could even help complete the plan I had to strengthen her."

This way, our side gains a Top-Tier Combatant.

Two birds with one stone—no, several birds with one stone!

Bai Ye turned to Wanda, his gaze steady and deep.

"Wanda."

Bai Ye's voice dropped: "I've thought of a way, but I need you to do something."

Wanda nodded without hesitation: "dear, tell me!"

Bai Ye smiled faintly and said firmly: "I want you to reach out to Chthon of your own accord."

"What?!" Martina and Ju Ziyun cried out together.

Susan frowned. "White, that's too dangerous!"

Yet Wanda didn't object at once; she stared into Bai Ye's eyes as though searching for confirmation.

"So… I'm the bait in this plan?" she asked softly.

Bai Ye shook his head. "No—you're the anchor."

He lifted his hand; a wisp of golden energy emerged in his palm, slowly spinning like a miniature galaxy.

"I'll use your Chaos Magic to back-trace Chthon's dimension, then bypass the surface dimensional lock…"

He paused, then spoke with unshakable resolve and killing intent:

"And charge straight in."

At his words, the room fell silent for a heartbeat.

Wanda's breathing quickened, yet her eyes grew resolute.

"All right—let's do it!" she answered curtly.

Susan stepped forward. "White, are you sure? The domain of an Ancient Death-God might not be so easy—"

Bai Ye wasn't surprised; Susan's reaction was natural.

After all, he had already explained Chthon's might to them.

So Susan's misgivings were perfectly reasonable.

Ju Ziyun added grimly: "If the plan fails, Chthon might break free of his seal!"

Bai Ye's gaze swept the room, a confident curve on his lips.

"Relax," he said softly. "I never fight a battle I'm not sure of winning."

"Besides, if we can't handle one imprisoned Demon-God, how will we face the Beyonders?"

The thought flashed through his mind, hardening into greater resolve.

He looked at Wanda, smiled warmly, and extended his hand. "Ready?"

Wanda drew a deep breath; crimson energy began to swirl around her.

"Anytime, dear!"

Bai Ye nodded; the violet light in his eyes blazed.

"Then let's begin."

Tension mounted; each of them weighed the risks in silence.

Wanda could feel that ancient, dark power stirring inside her.

"Chthon!"

She closed her eyes, and the dream resurfaced.

A scarlet abyss, endless whispers, and those eyes that devoured everything.

Fear surged like a tide, but she clenched her teeth and forced it down.

"No—I won't be controlled by it again."

Instinctively she looked at Bai Ye; in his violet pupils shone absolute confidence, as though he could rewrite the rules of the Universe itself.

"If it's him, he can do it."

She inhaled; Chaos Magic erupted, scarlet flames wrapping her body.

"Come, Chthon—this time, we're coming for you!"

Susan hovered mid-air, Force Field ripples flickering at her fingertips, ready for anything.

Bai Ye's plan was reckless; she had faced countless mighty foes.

But an ancient Demon-God like Chthon was on an entirely different level—a genuine Multiverse top-tier power.

If they failed, she dared not imagine the consequences.

Yet when she looked at Bai Ye's back, that near-arrogant confidence set her at ease.

"No—he won't fail. He's Bai Ye, the strongest of us all!"

She clenched her fists, Force Field senses fully open, scanning the surroundings.

"Whatever happens, I'll protect Wanda—Chthon will not get a chance!"

Ju Ziyun's pupils narrowed slightly as she monitored the energy fluctuations around Bai Ye and Wanda.

The Chaos Magic signature was climbing at breakneck speed.

Her serum enhancement let her perceive flows of energy others could not.

Right now, the Chaos force inside Wanda was nearing its limit.

"Too dangerous."

Chapter 273

Ju Ziyun glanced at Bai Ye; his expression remained calm, as if everything was under control.

Martina's gaze was as sharp as a husky's—looking a bit silly, yet she was absolutely serious.

Chthon!

The name was unfamiliar to Martina.

But that dark aura reminded her of the Black-Robed People who had once thrown their World into turmoil.

Those beings likewise embodied chaotic destruction.

"No matter the Universe, the nature of Loki is the same."

Martina looked toward Bai Ye; his golden energy interwove with Wanda's Scarlet Power, forming a strange balance.

White's plan was insane, yet sometimes madness is the only way out.

With that thought, Martina tightened her grip on her lightsaber, the allspark energy seething within her.

If Chthon dares show himself, I'll let him taste the edge of the allspark!

Wanda stood at the center of the magic array, crimson energy blazing like fire beneath her feet.

She slowly raised her hands, an ancient spell flowing from her lips.

"By the scarlet of Chaos..."

The air around her began to twist, reality torn open by invisible hands.

"I summon the primordial darkness..."

Suddenly Wanda's body jerked and she shouted,

"It's coming!"

The void ripped apart and countless viscous dark-red tentacles burst from the rift!

They writhed like living things, covered in hideous eyes and fangs, reeking of decay and madness.

"Wanda, my child!"

Chthon's whisper exploded directly in Wanda's mind.

The tentacles crept closer, their icy aura making her shudder.

"No!"

Wanda clenched her teeth and resisted, but the tentacles coiled tighter.

She could feel Chthon's will invading her soul through those tendrils.

"Join me—become the vessel of Chaos!"

Just as Wanda's consciousness began to blur... "Wanda!"

Bai Ye's voice thundered in her ears.

A bolt of golden energy slashed down; all the tentacles shrieked in the light and turned to ash in an instant!

Wanda jolted awake, gasping, Chaos Magic rampaging wildly around her.

Trembling, she looked up to see Bai Ye's purple-gold figure descending like a God, blocking the void rift before her.

"dear!"

Wanda clenched her fists, Scarlet Energy gathering once more.

"I'm fine—keep going!"

Chthon's colossal roar rose from the abyss: "Insolent insects!"

More tentacles surged like a tide—but Susan's Force Field lance swept through them in a blue blur.

Ju Ziyun's Light-Blade carved a silver arc.

Martina's lightsaber flared with dazzling gold!

The three women plunged into the fight... Amid flying severed tentacles, Wanda leapt up and drove both hands into the void rift.

"My turn now!"

Her Chaos Magic erupted like a torrent, flooding back into Chthon's dimension.

The whole room shook violently in the storm of energy.

Everyone watched as the rift was torn into a gate to the abyss by Wanda's sheer force.

Golden energy surged; Bai Ye's senses locked onto the chaotic link within Wanda.

He had to help her stabilize it, or the gate would soon close...

"Found it."

Bai Ye could clearly sense the dark power trying to erode reality through Wanda's spell.

"Chthon took the bait."

A playful smile flashed across Bai Ye's face.

You think you're hunting us?

No—now it's time to reverse the roles of hunter and prey.

He glanced at the four women beside him: Wanda's resolve, Susan's vigilance, Ju Ziyun's calm, Martina's... sill—uh, fighting spirit.

With the four of them, that was enough.

The next instant, purple-gold light erupted in Bai Ye's eyes as his Bio-Force Field unfurled at full power!

"Chthon, ready to receive your guests?"

Under Bai Ye's strike, reality tore open!

Scarlet and purple-gold energies interwove; space shattered like glass, a rift to the Chaos Dimensionslowly unfolding before them.

In the abyss, a pair of eyes like black holes suddenly snapped open!

"You dare seek my realm?"

Chthon's voice howled like a billion tormented souls, shaking every spirit present.

But Bai Ye merely chuckled and stepped first into the rift.

"Today I'm going to teach you one thing."

His silhouette vanished into the scarlet abyss, leaving only an icy sentence echoing between reality and the Chaos Dimension.

"Who the real hunter is."

Wanda followed close behind, crimson energy swirling as her hands wrenched the void-crack wide.

The rules of reality surged like a broken dam straight into Chthon's dimension.

Her pupils had turned blood-red, hair whipping in the wild torrent of power.

"Found it."

Wanda's voice carried a double echo, as though some ancient being spoke through her throat.

Bai Ye's Bio-Force Field flared to full strength, carving a zone of stability inside the frenzied Chaos energy.

He laid a hand on Wanda's shoulder and said in a low voice,

"Hold on—I can see its throne."

Through the warped fissure the group caught a distant glimpse:

deep within surging dark-red mists, a black throne of bones and chains stood towering.

Chthon's colossal form was rising from it, the shackles binding him groaning under the strain.

"Are you courting death?"

His voice made reality begin to unravel—but the next instant Bai Ye's group passed wholly into the Chaos Dimension!

The five of them entered Chthon's domain and were greeted by a peal of maniacal laughter.

"Hahaha! You dare set foot in my realm of your own accord!"

Chthon's shriek rolled through the Chaos Dimension.

He emerged from the crimson haze, a titanic frame wrapped in broken chains, scarlet eyes fixed on the intruders.

At last his gaze settled on Wanda and he grinned with greedy distortion.

"What a perfect vessel—utterly perfect!"

His whisper slithered like a viper into every mind.

"Chaos Magic flows so purely through you; you are destined to become my incarnation!"

Wanda's Scarlet Power erupted around her as she stared back without fear.

"You will never succeed—I will never be your puppet!"

At her words Chthon's laughter grew wilder.

"Oh? And why not? You are mere human ants, while I am the incarnation of Chaos—your resistance is meaningless!"

Before the echo faded his whispers turned tangible, a tide of Chaos energy surging to invade their minds and twist their wills.

Seeing this, Bai Ye simply smiled.

Chaos whispers? Huh—you wield Chaos Magic; I have Expel Foreign Entities!

When it came to versatility of power, Bai Ye feared no veteran Multiverse titan.

The instant Chthon's murmur was about to corrupt them, a blinding golden radiance burst from Bai Ye.

The light formed a barrier around Wanda, Susan, Ju Ziyun and Martina.

Chthon's whispers struck the golden wall and vanished like mud thrown into the sea.

"What?!"

His maniacal laugh choked off, scarlet pupils shrinking in disbelief.

"Impossible—how can my whispers be nullified?"

Standing within the golden glow Bai Ye mocked him: "Surprised?"

Chthon's fury flared; in all his eons he had never met such insolence. "Arrogant insect—do you think this can defy Chaos?"

He flung up a hand; Chaos energy roared as reality twisted beneath his will.

He tried to erase their very existence outright!

Yet Bai Ye merely lifted a palm and flicked his wrist.

"Buzz—"

The golden light flashed again; Chthon's Chaos Magic dissolved like foam before it could even form.

"T-this can't be!"

Totally shaken—his Chaos Magic had never failed, yet now he could not even budge Bai Ye.

Watching Chthon's stunned face, Bai Ye kept smiling.

Just now he had used the Equine Expel Foreign Entities Law, rendering Chthon's whisper-erosion null.

And when Chthon tried to rewrite reality, Bai Ye counter-twisted the change with Healing Force.

As mentioned before, once Bai Ye ascended to Multiverse level the Twelve Talismans evolved into the Twelve Laws.

Chapter 274

Now that Chthon was sealed, although it was still the Multiverse, in terms of quantity he was definitely no match for Bai Ye, who faced no restrictions.

Therefore, Bai Ye's power of the Twelve Laws naturally took effect—Nier Sanleng Qiyi x San Si t!

These Twelve Laws were an absolute god-tier skill for crushing weaker foes; against opponents of the same tier but slightly inferior in quantity, Bai Ye had the easiest time—just like the previously skirt-wearing, fin-plus-Liubaliu's Nal.

Chthon couldn't understand what on earth had happened; his scarlet eyes bored into Bai Ye.

"What… what did you do?!"

Bai Ye didn't answer; he simply raised his hand, condensing a blinding golden light.

"Chaos and disorder, is it? Then today, let me show you my Law of Balance."

Before the words faded, the golden light shot out like an arrow, striking Chthon square in the chest!

"Boom!"

The golden light wasn't violent; it didn't even inflict any damage, yet Chthon's expression froze instantly.

Because his Chaos Magic had suddenly gone quiet.

The once-frantic, disorderly energy now flowed like docile water, no longer under his control!

"No—this is impossible!"

Chthon frantically tried to summon his power, but Chaos Magic seemed suppressed by some higher-order rule and refused to obey.

Bai Ye stood before him, his smile still calm.

"Chaos may be strong, but the Universe has its own way of balance; your disorder can never defeat order's correction."

Chthon panicked completely; he had never encountered anyone who could directly suppress Chaos Magic.

"Who… who are you?!"

Bai Ye didn't reply; he simply clenched his fist, golden light gathering once more.

"Now, this stage is mine!"

Chthon's scarlet pupils shrank violently; the chaotic energy coiled around him dispersed like tamed Beasts.

For the first time, this ancient demon god felt genuine fear.

His magical energy was being forcibly rewritten by some higher-dimensional rule!

"No—this is impossible!"

His roar shattered dimensional barriers; countless bone thrones turned to dust in the sonic wave.

"Chaos is the origin of all! Even Eternity couldn't kill me!"

Bai Ye sneered, suddenly flashing in front of Chthon; his right fist, blazing with golden light, punched straight into the demon's chest!

"Bang!"

Pure balance force exploded inside the demon god; the scattered chaos began to collapse in reverse.

Chthon was horrified to find his immortal divine body being forcibly rationalized.

Like straightening a tangled skein into perfect threads.

"What did you do to me?!" Chthon's voice trembled again.

Bai Ye remained serene, the corners of his mouth curving in a dangerous arc.

"Me? Simple—I just taught Chaos some manners."

Order Reconstruction; Concept Lock; Law Detonation.

Three authorities erupted simultaneously inside Chthon!

The incarnation of Chaos let out a heart-rending wail; he saw his own palm turning transparent.

Not dissipating—being converted into more fundamental cosmic particles!

"Stop! I can grant you even greater power!"

At last, the proud primordial evil god realized the danger and begged loudly.

Unfortunately, no one present heeded him; they all wanted him dead.

Wanda suddenly rushed in from behind, Scarlet Magic forming a gigantic blade that swept across!

"We need no bargain with demons!"

Bang!

The clash of energies produced a terrifying shock-wave.

But Chthon was no pushover; he blocked Wanda's strike.

"Hahaha…"

Chthon's mad laughter echoed through the twisting space, his body still suppressed by Bai Ye's rule power.

Yet those scarlet eyes still gleamed with insanity.

Knowing pleading was useless, he resolved to stake everything on one last gamble.

"You think you can defeat me like this?"

His voice sounded like the whispers of countless dead, chilling to the bone.

Bai Ye gave no answer; he only stared coldly, one hand maintaining suppression while he flicked the other toward Wanda.

"Wanda—now!"

Wanda inhaled; crimson chaos energy swirled into a vortex between her palms.

She stepped forward and slammed both hands against Chthon's chest.

"Die, you!"

Chthon's roar twisted as he felt his chaos energy being ripped away!

Wanda's heart jolted.

Too much! This power—far greater than I imagined!

Her body trembled as chaos energy flooded into her like a torrent, every inch of skin burning.

Yet she clenched her teeth, gripping Chthon and refusing to let go.

"You dare steal my power?!" Chthon howled, struggling harder.

Bai Ye's suppression held firm, his expression unruffled.

Chthon's resistance was stronger than expected; his energy level exceeded projections.

But it didn't matter—he still couldn't make any waves.

Thanks to his brothers and sisters; without their seals, Chthon would be far stronger!

Otherwise, the power of the Twelve Laws would have been useless.

An energy storm raged as Wanda's magic skyrocketed!

At this moment, to everyone watching, Wanda's hair whipped in the scarlet torrent, her pupils dyed deep red.

The pressure radiating from her made the entire dimension quake!

Susan was shaken—she could sense Wanda's energy had already far surpassed a single Universe!

She instinctively tensed her arms, the Force Field energy clearly perceiving that power's horror.

Martina's cute face showed worry, her gaze heavy.

Could Wanda's body really endure absorbing energy of this magnitude?

Ju Ziyun remained calm, though her tight grip on her light-blade betrayed her inner tension.

"Foolish ants!"

Chthon's roar abruptly dropped; his scarlet energy turned black.

"Chaos Magic is but one of my facets—Black Magic is my true origin!"

As the words fell, countless pitch-black energies converged behind him, forming a gigantic demonic hand.

The hand twisted and finally condensed into a cursed black spear.

"You all die!"

The spear ripped through space, straight at Bai Ye who was suppressing him!

Bai Ye wasn't the least bit flustered; he'd expected this.

As expected, Chthon still had a trump card.

Pity—thanks to the seals and suppression, he was now far too weak.

Without withdrawing the hand suppressing Chthon, Bai Ye merely glanced sideways; behind him, the crimson radiance of the Sun 837 flared.

"Boom!"

Devastating cosmic solar power, laced with magic, blasted out and collided head-on with the black spear.

The two forces exploded mid-air, a terrifying shock-wave sweeping the Chaos Dimension.

Susan instantly deployed a Force Field shield, protecting Martina and Ju Ziyun within.

"Bai!"

Wanda shouted; her absorption had reached the critical stage—Chthon's energy was being ripped away!

Chthon's body began to collapse, yet he still struggled, Black Magic coiling around his wrecked form.

"Damned humans—you cannot kill me!"

Chthon's voice turned hoarse, but madness still filled it.

Wanda clenched her teeth, madly devouring the energy!

"Not enough—his core energy hasn't been fully absorbed!"

"Hold on—just a bit longer!"

Sensing her strain, Bai Ye intensified the golden light!

"Final strike!"

Bai Ye clenched his fist; rule power tore Chthon's body apart.

"Nooo!!!"

Chthon's scream shook the dimension; his energy gushed out, and Wanda's chaos vortex finally reached his core.

"Boom!"

The last torrent of energy poured into Wanda; her body erupted in unprecedented red light!

"Did we succeed?!"

Watching Wanda absorb Chthon's core power, Susan cried out.

But the next instant, Chthon's after-image sneered in the void.

"You thought this was over?"

"Chaos never dies!"

His figure dispersed completely, yet a wisp of Black Magic slipped into a dimensional rift.

Bai Ye had foreseen it; that was simply Chthon's nature—unkillable, always resurrecting even if slain.

But Bai Ye refused to accept that fate; he would break the rule!

Chapter 275

The next second, the power of the Universe Sun behind Bai Ye shone brightly.

The Universe Sun's rays shot out, instantly tracking the dimensional rift.

"Ah!"

"I want you to die..."

As two screams echoed, Chthon's existence was completely erased!

This King of Chaos, Master of Black magic, was defeated today by someone he had never heard of.

His legendary life came to a complete end at this moment!

With the Death of the Dimension Lord Chthon, the Chaos Dimension began to collapse.

The scarlet sky shattered, and spatial cracks spread.

Wanda slowly opened her eyes, her pupils completely transformed into a deep dark red, and the energy flowing around her was a hundred times stronger than before!

"Is he dead?" Ju Ziyun asked in a low voice.

Bai Ye stared at the void and nodded, "He is dead, completely reduced to nothingness!"

Soon, the entire Chaos Dimension began to collapse, the scarlet sky shattered, and countless spatial cracks spread.

Wanda stood in the center of the energy storm and slowly opened her eyes.

Her pupils had completely turned into a deep dark red, and the Chaos Magic flowing around her was a hundred times stronger than before!

"So, we are..." Martina asked uncertainly.

She had been prepared to die in battle, but she didn't expect the battle to be as intense as she had imagined.

Bai Ye hung Chthon up and beat him the entire time, without any ability to fight back.

Bai Ye retracted his gaze, smiled slightly, and corrected:

"No, more accurately, Wanda won `~."

Wanda looked down at her hands, feeling the surging power within her, and said softly:

"Chthon's energy has allowed me to break through my limits. I can feel that I am still constantly absorbing Chaos Magic from the Universe!"

Susan flew to her side and exclaimed, "How strong are you now?"

Wanda raised her head, her smile gradually becoming confident: "Enough to protect everyone."

Bai Ye smiled as he listened to Wanda's words.

"Let's go, it's time to go back."

Bai Ye waved his hand gently, and golden light enveloped everyone.

The next second, the figures of the group disappeared from the collapsing Chaos Dimension... Bai YeUniverse, Earth

The golden light dissipated, and the figures of the five reappeared in the training room of the Villa.

The walls around were still covered with cracks from the previous energy surge.

But at this moment, the atmosphere in the room was completely different from the previous tension.

Susan stretched lazily, with a bright smile on her face, and sighed:

"It's finally resolved! I thought it would take longer!"

Martina tilted her head and said with some confusion:

"Speaking of which, this time doesn't seem as dangerous as I imagined?"

Susan couldn't help but chuckle, shake her head, and said bluntly:

"Is it possible that it's not that Chthon is not strong enough, but because we have Wanda and Bai?"

Martina was stunned for a moment, then blinked her eyes as if she suddenly understood, and nodded innocently.

"Oh! That's right!"

At this time, Ju Ziyun interjected, her tone relaxed but with a bit of seriousness:

"If it were anyone else, like Stephen Strange and them, they probably wouldn't even see Chthon's face and would be driven crazy by the whispers of Chaos, right?"

Bai Ye looked at them, with a faint smile on the corner of his mouth, but his eyes were still calm.

"Don't relax too much. Although Chthon has been sealed for many years and his strength has been weakened a lot, he is still a Multiverse-level god and must not be underestimated."

Speaking of this, Bai Ye paused and glanced at everyone.

"If my abilities didn't happen to restrain him, this battle would not have been so easy."

Wanda nodded, still feeling a little dazed in her heart.

Bai Ye was right. If it weren't for his power of rules suppressing him, Wanda would not have been able to absorb Chthon's energy just now.

She looked down at her palm, the scarlet energy slowly flowing, deeper and more immense than ever before.

It was an energy that seemed to be able to destroy everything and create everything!

She had a feeling that as long as she wanted to, she could easily destroy a Universe with a single thought, and even affect the Multiverse.

As for even more crazy ideas, Wanda didn't dare to think about them. She felt that this was not the limit of Chaos!

Because, at this moment, she was still constantly absorbing Chaos Magic, and she was still constantly growing!

Wanda looked at her body, her vision penetrating through, and she saw Chaos Magic constantly increasing within her body.

Can I really completely control this power now?

Susan noticed her silence and reached out to pat her on the shoulder.

"Wanda, what's wrong? Are you still thinking about Chthon?"

Wanda came back to her senses, shook her head gently, and showed a smile.

"No, just adapting to the new power."

Ju Ziyun walked to her side and analyzed calmly:

"Chaos Magic originates from your will. As long as you are not dominated by it, it will become your most powerful weapon."

"Yes, yes, just like when I faced the allspark energy before," Martina shouted along from the side.

Bai Ye looked at them, a trace of appreciation flashed in his eyes, and then said:

"However, although Chthon is temporarily dead, his will will not stop there."

"Because the origin of Black magic still exists, these origins will give birth to new gods, and they will make a comeback sooner or later."

Ju Ziyun supported her chin, thought for a moment, and then asked Zero:

"Do we need to prepare in advance? For example, study how to completely eliminate them?"

Bai Ye shook his head. He wouldn't do such a thankless thing, and said bluntly:

"There is no need at the moment. These gods are conceptual existences. As long as the laws of darkness still exist, they will not truly disappear."

"However..."

Speaking of this, Bai Ye chuckled and glanced at everyone.

"If the new dark gods dare to appear again, we'll beat them up again."

Martina laughed loudly upon hearing this, raised her fist, and shouted, "I like this plan!"

Susan couldn't help but smile when she saw this. She didn't expect Martina to be even more of a battle maniac than her.

Even the always calm Ju Ziyun was amused by Martina's activity.

"Speaking of which, these gods, like Knull, why are they always being sealed?" Ju Ziyun suddenly asked curiously.

Susan and Martina were stunned, and then Martina said directly according to common sense: "Perhaps, they are all annoying?"

Ju Ziyun was directly amused by this and couldn't help but shake her head.

I can only say that Martina is worthy of being a great mind, and she can always make some unexpected remarks.

Wanda watched the noisy crowd, and the unease in her heart gradually dissipated.

"Yes, with dear and Susan and them, there is nothing to be afraid of."

"Whether it is this time or the future..."

Bai Ye walked to the window and looked at the distant sky, the afterglow of the setting Sun shining on his profile.

"Okay, you all have a good rest tonight."

"There are more things waiting for us to deal with in the future."

While Bai Ye and the others were resting, in various dimensions and the Worlds of the gods.

Because Bai Ye killed Chthon, it directly caused a major shock.

450 Crimson Universe

Cyttorak's Throne

Universe stars composed of pure energy collapsed and reorganized around his throne.

The surging thought fluctuations of the Crimson Lord caused ripples throughout the dimension.

Cyttorak opened his scarlet eyes and looked across the Multiverse towards the collapsing Chaos Dimension.

"The Chaos Authority has been transferred? Interesting."

"That human can actually modify the underlying rules of the Universe?"

Cyttorak thought for a while, his brows furrowed tightly.

"No, that's not the power of an ordinary dimension."

"He actually possesses a more mysterious authority that I have never known."

"Amazing human, the long-silent Multiverse is finally becoming lively."

Cyttorak's eyes narrowed slightly. This was the first time since the birth of the Universe that he, the all-knowing one, had seen an existence that he could not analyze.

Dark Dimension, Dormammu's Forge

Dormammu, the Lord of the Dark Dimension, was devouring a dimension.

Suddenly, he noticed something and stopped eating.

An uncertain murmur leaked from his burning teeth.

"That old thing Chthon was actually devoured by a human?"

"Wait, that golden light..."

"Is that the guy who ambushed me last time?!"

Thinking of the last time Bai Ye accidentally opened the Dark Dimension and then very impolitely gave himself a blast of Universe magic rays.

The energy in Dormammu's hand suddenly shrank into a small dot, trembling like a frightened candlelight.

That damn ant, how long has it been, and he's so strong?!

Earth, Kamar-Taj, Tea Room

Ancient One, who was brewing tea, suddenly frowned. She slowly put down the teacup and waved her hand gently.

The next second, the green Time Stone automatically floated to her forehead.

Ancient One raised her hands to form a magic seal. After a moment, she opened her eyes.

"The wailing of the dimensional barrier?"

Ancient One dipped her finger in tea and drew a mirror on the table.

The scene presented in the picture made her heart race.
