She shot upward into the sky in a streak of golden-blue energy, raising both hands above her head. The air warped violently around her palms as she condensed a massive sphere of power, glowing with artificial Ki, brighter and heavier than anything she had unleashed so far. The ground trembled as if the heavens themselves would collapse under its weight.
With a fierce cry, she hurled the colossal energy attack straight down at Rudra. The explosion roared like a falling sun, threatening to vaporize everything in its path.
But Rudra didn't flinch. Instead, he stood firm, planted his blade into the ground, and raised it skyward. The sword's surface shimmered as the incoming energy collided with it—and then, in a dazzling surge, the weapon absorbed every ounce of the massive blast.
The attack vanished into the blade like water into dry earth.
Now, Rudra's sword began to glow, pulsing with brilliant artificial blue Ki, humming with power that wasn't its own. The very air around it crackled, the ground vibrating beneath the sheer energy it contained.
Rudra smirked and lifted his eyes toward Android 18, who still hovered high above, staring down in disbelief.
"Now," Rudra's voice carried across the battlefield, calm yet dangerous,
"you'll understand why I've been using this sword."
Before she could react, his body flickered—vanishing from sight. In the blink of an eye, he was behind her, his Instantaneous Technique placing him in her blind spot. With a single clean motion, Rudra slashed his glowing blade across her back.
The strike was precise, almost elegant.
For a heartbeat, nothing seemed to happen—only the faint tearing of fabric as her jacket ripped apart from shoulder to hip. No blood. No wound. Just a shredded line across her clothes.
Android 18 tilted her head, smirking with cold arrogance.
"Is that all your little sword can do?" she mocked, her voice dripping with disdain.
But before she could laugh further—her body suddenly twitched violently. Her smirk faltered. Her eyes widened. Sparks of blue Ki began crackling uncontrollably across her frame. Her systems stuttered, energy surging inside her like a storm she couldn't contain.
"W-what…? What's happening…?!" she gasped, her voice for the first time carrying panic.
The energy Rudra's blade had absorbed wasn't gone—it had been returned, force-fed back into her synthetic body in an uncontrollable surge. Her own power had become her downfall.
Rudra's smirk widened ever so slightly as he slowly rose higher into the sky, leaving her flailing below. His aura flickered around him as he ascended, calm and collected, watching the inevitable unfold.
And then—
BOOOOOOM!
A cataclysmic detonation erupted, engulfing the entire island beneath them. The ground shattered, the sea roared outward in towering waves, and the horizon was consumed by fire and smoke. The blast ripped through the landmass with merciless force, erasing it from the map in an instant.
When the smoke cleared, the island was gone. So too was Android 18.
All that remained was the echo of destruction, the sea boiling where land once stood—and high above, Rudra, his sword still glowing faintly, floating in silence like a shadow against the burning sky.
ANDROID 18 IS DEFEATED BY RUDRA.
