But before Gero could say another word, Cell's expression changed. His eyes widened slightly, and his tail twitched.
"Master," he said slowly, "something's… changed."
Dr. Gero turned sharply. "What do you mean?"
Cell's tone grew intense, his lips curling into a dark smile. "I can feel them. Their energy… it's faint, but unmistakable. They've returned."
Dr. Gero's grin widened like a crack spreading through ice. "Hahahaha! I told you, didn't I? No one escapes me! Go, my creation — finish what we started. End them!"
Without hesitation, Cell spread his wings. A thunderous wave of Ki exploded from his body, shattering nearby buildings into dust. With a deafening boom, he launched into the air, tearing through the smoke-choked skies.
Behind him, Android 17 and 18 remained beside Dr. Gero, watching silently as the monster vanished into the horizon.
"Let's see how long they can run this time," 17 muttered, folding his arms.

Far across the scorched plains, three bright lights tore through the sky — Rudra, Trunks, and Gohan had arrived. They appeared on a cracked highway near what used to be the heart of West City. The wind was still heavy with ash and the faint echo of screams long silenced.
Rudra looked around slowly. "So… this is what's left," he whispered. His voice was low, almost breaking. "This city once held millions of lives…"
Trunks clenched his fists. "All gone… because of them."
Gohan's expression hardened, his golden aura flickering faintly as his anger began to rise. "Then we'll end it here."
But before Rudra could respond — a chilling presence fell over them. The air became heavy, electric.
Cell's Ki was overwhelming — sharp, malicious, and impossibly dense. It was as though the atmosphere itself bent beneath its weight.
And then, from the smoke, Cell appeared — descending like a predator, his grin stretching from ear to ear.
"Well, well… what do we have here?" His voice dripped with amusement. "The little fugitives have returned."
Trunks took a step forward, jaw clenched. "Cell…"
"Running away was clever," Cell continued, floating just above the cracked road, his tail swaying lazily. "But it only delayed the inevitable. You three will not escape again."
Before anyone could respond, Cell's fingertip glowed crimson. In a blink, a Death Beam shot forward — a thin, blazing line of energy that cut through the air like lightning.
"Rudra, look out!" Gohan shouted.
But Rudra didn't move away. Instead, he stepped forward, raising his hand — his aura flaring bright gold. The beam struck his palm directly, exploding in a shower of sparks, but Rudra held firm, absorbing the energy through sheer force of will. The ground cracked beneath his feet.
When the smoke cleared, Rudra stood tall, unharmed. His eyes glowed faintly, reflecting the beam's light.
"Cell," he said, voice calm yet filled with quiet fury. "Today is not your day."
Cell's grin widened. "Oh? Then tell me, little warrior — when is my day?"
Rudra didn't answer. The air around him shimmered, golden arcs of energy flickering through the ruins. Gohan and Trunks stood behind him, readying their stances.
Trunks whispered, "He's buying time. Remember the plan."
Gohan nodded silently, his heart pounding.
High above, the clouds began to spiral, reacting to the gathering power below.
For a brief moment, time itself seemed to hold its breath.
The ruins of West City — once silent — now trembled as two titanic forces prepared to clash once again.
And far behind, in the shadows of a shattered skyscraper, Dr. Gero watched through a surveillance drone, smiling like a man who had finally witnessed his masterpiece at work.
"Yes," he whispered. "Show me your perfection, Cell… show me the end of all resistance."
As Cell's aura flared — brilliant, blinding, unstoppable — Rudra lowered his stance.
The ground beneath him cracked.
The air roared.
And with one breath, one word escaped his lips —
"Let's finish this."
