Chapter 233 - Chapter 233 — The Excited Uchiha Yota

Chapter 233 — The Excited Uchiha Yota

After closing the door, Uchiha Yoko pulled out two chairs, motioned for her son to sit, and began recounting — in full detail — the glorious story of their Clan Head becoming Hokage.

Seeing that she was finally ready to talk, Uchiha Yota's eyes lit up with anticipation.

Yoko paused briefly, cleared her throat, and began slowly:

"To explain how our Clan Head became Hokage… we need to start from the very beginning."

---

Ten minutes later.

After hearing the full tale, Uchiha Yota's pupils shrank sharply.

"That doesn't add up. The Clan Head only had an ordinary Mangekyō Sharingan. How did he obtain the Eternal Mangekyō?"

Yoko immediately covered her son's mouth, but he dodged away. She scolded sharply:

"Yota! You must not address the Clan Head by name!"

He waved her off half-heartedly.

"Yes, yes, I know."

Then he leaned forward urgently. "But seriously, answer me! How did the Clan Head awaken the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan?"

"I… don't know."

Yoko shook her head honestly. "I really don't."

Yota fell silent, deep in thought.

There was only one way to evolve the Mangekyō into the Eternal Mangekyō:

by transplanting the Mangekyō of a close blood relative.

And according to the original timeline, Uchiha Fugaku possessed only a standard Mangekyō. There was never any mention of Eternal Eyes.

Meaning… if Fugaku had indeed evolved them, there were only two possible donors—

Itachi or Sasuke.

But Sasuke was still seven years old and hadn't even awakened a single tomoe yet.

Itachi, however…

Yota's expression became increasingly incredulous.

So in this world—

Did Uchiha Fugaku actually use Itachi's Mangekyō to advance to the Eternal stage?

Was he really that ruthless?

Or was he that decisive because he uncovered Itachi's double-agent identity early?

Yota couldn't help imagining all kinds of dramatic father-son conflict.

He glanced at his mother, who clearly knew only fragments and couldn't give real answers. A pity… If only there were someone who knew the full truth and could tell him everything.

"Mom, the Clan Head is in the Hokage Office right now, right?"

"Of course."

Yoko nodded. "The Clan Head is now the Fifth Hokage. If he's not in the Hokage Office, where else would he be? He's incredibly busy."

Yota pondered for a moment, then looked up sharply.

"Do we have any ninjutsu scrolls at home?"

From his inherited memories, the original body's father had been an elite chūnin with two tomoe, but he had died early during a mission. Only Yoko and an uncle remained.

Since the father had been a shinobi, he must have left behind some ninjutsu scrolls.

And now that Yota had transmigrated, he might as well start learning ninjutsu immediately.

He wanted to experience the life of a real ninja — running on walls, breathing fire, launching jutsu.

They were childhood dreams he never imagined he'd truly live.

"There are scrolls," Yoko said, "but Yota, you just woke up. You should rest a few days first."

She nagged gently, "Lady Tsunade — the Medical Saint — is in the village right now. I'll go invite her to examine you later."

Yota had been ready to complain, but at the mention of Tsunade, his eyes sparkled instantly.

The "ugh, so annoying" he was about to say evaporated.

He straightened up quickly:

"Okay! No problem! Should I go with you?"

Seeing her son suddenly so obedient, Yoko felt relieved rather than suspicious.

"No need, no need. Just stay home and wait. I'll invite Lady Tsunade."

She spoke with full confidence, as if inviting Tsunade was simple.

But the moment she stepped outside, her expression turned troubled.

She was a housewife. Her late husband had only been a chūnin.

Would Tsunade even agree to come?

Her only confidence was her identity as a member of the Uchiha clan.

And now that Clan Head Fugaku was Hokage, the Uchiha name carried more weight than ever.

Comforting herself, Yoko walked out of the clan district.

She headed toward the Pansi Cave spa — her friend worked there, and according to her, Tsunade visited often for foot baths.

If she was lucky, she might catch her there.

---

After Yoko left, Yota pumped his fist in excitement.

If he had to rank his favorite female characters from Naruto, Tsunade was absolutely number one — forever youthful, confident, strong, tied-back blonde hair…

To think he might actually meet her on his first day in this world made him ecstatic.

After his excitement cooled, Yota suddenly frowned.

Wait… shouldn't Tsunade be wandering the world gambling at this point in the original timeline?

Why is she in the village?

Another butterfly effect caused by Fugaku becoming Hokage?

He shook his head. There were too many things to think about.

After a moment, he remembered something, quickly lowered his gaze and checked—

and sighed in despair.

His body was too young — not even fully developed.

The original was only thirteen, having just woken from a year-long coma.

A kid.

A literal kid.

So much for any fantasies he had earlier…

As he was wallowing in frustration, he heard footsteps outside.

"Finally!"

Yota rushed to the window, eager to see his beloved Tsunade.

But—

He looked left.

Then right.

No Tsunade.

Yoko had returned alone.

His heart plummeted instantly, replaced by a surge of irritation.

He burst out the door.

"Where is she? Didn't you say you invited her?!"
