The entity slowly turned back into a stone statue.
As the coffin's chains loosened, Inezeya rolled out of it. The coffin hung motionless in midair. As he stopped rolling on his back, footsteps from the darkness rippled through the blood puddle.
Blood poured from his chin as he tried to sit up. His arms trembled from exhaustion. Gazing at the blood before him, his lips unlocked slowly.
"F-failure… N-no matter what… I am a failure… My existence is only capable of hurting… I'll never deserve peace… I only deserve pain… I'm worthless… Nothing… Shit… Decay…"
Tears flowed from his empty eyes.
"I can't bear this pain anymore… I want to die…"
A hand appeared near him, holding a white, furry scarf. After some steps, a person hidden in black cloak was revealed by the light of the atmosphere. Its face remained hidden beneath the hood. Long snow-white braided hair swung from it. Kneeling before him, it tied the scarf around his bleeding chin. Feminine voice came from that person.
"Peace to your seventh year."
With his entire body dripped with his fathers blood, Inezeya gazed at the ground with dead empty eyes.
"Who're you?..."
She took him from his arms on her back to carry him.
"Where you belong. You're not alone anymore."
Inezeya held on to her tightly. He gazed at the floor tiredly.
"Thank you, mom…"
The shrine trembled slowly. She carried him down the stairs of the sanctum. The ceiling made of stone clouds collapsed slowly by slowly.
"No matter what, be merciful and honest. Find peace in yourself."
Trembling aggressively, the columns and ceiling collapsed aggressively when they approached the exit of the sanctum. His mother ran the stairs off, carrying him. Builders emerged behind them. In addition when climbing, the staircase was quite short.
Inezeya's mind filled with shock.
"It took me far to climb…"
Rushing off the stairs with boulders storming down, they approached the hall. The winged masculine statue was absent. Descending from a side staircase the builders rained down the hall, crushing the stairs. The hall trembled aggressively, collapsing inward from any side.
His mother ran with him on her back toward the exit…
Also their front collapsed…
Exiting the shrine, they approached the outer columns…
Surrounded by the devastation, their front collapsed, nearly closing the gap before them.
With no other options left, his mother hurled Inezeya through the collapsing gap.
"Live, my Son!! Live!!"
Boulders rained down from every direction. As he soared through the air, he saw the boulders tearing first his mother's limbs apart, then her entire body and crushing her piece by piece.
The destruction calmed. Falling onto the snow covered ground on his shoulder, he rolled downward. Snow absorbed the blood on his body. Within a short amount of time he stopped on his back. Trembling in pain he stood barely. Dragging his feet through the snow, he returned in stress, pain and tiredness. Holding his shoulder, he tried to stretch his hand forward.
"No… Noo!!! No, no, no…"
Approaching the ruins, he saw organs, body parts and blood scattered all around through the boulders. He took one of her fingers from the ground. From his eyes streamed tears.
"I will live.. and find peace… I promise…"
Clenching his teeth, he gazed at the sky brightening everywhere in orange hues. The sun set slowly.
Shaking violently, the ground collapsed and sinked into the river. With his widened eyes, Inezeya sought his body to save the finger. Builders hammered down the river. Water splashes chaotically. Searching for places to grab, Inezeya fell alongside the implosion. In despair, he put it in his mouth, saving it behind his teeth. His breath came short. Falling into the water, the chaotic sounds quiet down.
Inside the river, builders slowly rained down. With his mouth filled with the finger, he drowned floating down. The skeletons on its depth emerged into a big skull. The skull opened its mouth.
In front of Inezeya…
Huge silhouettes loomed…
Two hands of the skeleton…
…shoved him into its mouth, swallowing him whole.
