UNKNOWN POV
Sophia paced the room, her fingers unknowingly twisting the pendant around her neck. The necklace glowed faintly in the dim living room, casting eerie pulses of light, but Sophia didn't notice. She was too caught up in her thoughts.
Serves her right, she sneered inwardly. If she had just shut up and taken the bullying like Jessica did when Cassie screamed at her, none of this would've happened. Aria wouldn't be rotting in prison for killing someone.
The thought sent a flicker of satisfaction through her. Aria, her persistent, irritating obstacle, was finally out of the way. Murder charges meant execution or, at the very least, permanent exile. Hopefully death. That would be ideal.
But then there was Atlas.
Sophia's jaw clenched as rage simmered under her skin. He'd try to stop it. He'd use his precious Alpha authority to save her. Of course, he will.
