"Did you see how she looked? Anything that could help us?" Navian asked calmly.
Ace shook his head. "No… look, she wore a mask. Her hair was the typical gold, but that's all I caught." He grumbled and stifled a yawn one so contagious that Willow found herself yawning too.
Navian sighed quietly. "You can sleep here. I'll take the couch."
Willow blinked at him, then nodded, too tired to argue. "Okay."
He smiled faintly before turning back to the screen. Ace was watching them now with an amused grin.
"Let's scratch her out until she actually tries something," Navian said, his voice returning to its usual even tone.
"Fine, fine. I'll keep watch. Don't do anything stupid." Ace waved, and the screen went dark as the call ended.
Navian set the tablet aside and turned to find Willow rubbing her eyes, her exhaustion showing in every movement.
"You're really just going to ignore a threat?" she asked through another yawn.
