After Sasuke left, Bai Ye chuckled as he pulled open the mansion's inner doors.A completely different scene appeared inside.
A group of scantily dressed women—so revealing it practically violated public decency—were huddled quietly in the corner, batting nervous, delicate eyes at him.
Years of licking blood off blades as kunoichi, combined with chakra keeping their bodies in peak condition, had given them graceful figures and striking beauty.
Let alone these female ninja—even if Uchiha Madara stood here right now, Bai Ye's presence alone would be enough to stir the feminine side in his heart.
Bai Ye looked over the beautiful women before him and sighed:
"Corruption… truly corruption. Orochimaru is too wicked. He doesn't indulge in women himself, so he sends beauties to tempt me instead—hoping I'll make a mistake.Do I look like that kind of man?"

As Bai Ye spoke, the kunoichi—who had no idea what 'television' meant—could nonetheless hear the ominous implication behind his words.
"Now that I have power myself, purely for academic purposes, I want to explore something with you all.""I want to understand exactly how power could corrupt someone as upright as me… to challenge my weaknesses."
"So next, I ask for your cooperation. I am not doing this for lust—only to satisfy pure intellectual curiosity."
As he finished, Bai Ye pulled a red silk ribbon from his hollow space and tied it over his eyes, sealing his five senses.He cupped his fists politely:
"Ladies, this humble gentleman offers his respects."
The moment his words fell, Bai Ye, with senses muted, reached forward with both hands in a groping, claw-like posture.
"Lord Bai—how ungentlemanly!"
The once-quiet room instantly filled with soft, startled cries—though all of it was blocked by Bai Ye's barrier technique, unable to escape outside.

Meanwhile, in the Marvel Universe.
Tony turned his head. Sitting beside him were Kingpin and Rodrigues, the three of them looking at the assembled officials ahead of them.
"This is the 'team' you said you were building?"
Kingpin's mouth twitched. Before him stood Daredevil, Punisher, and other former mortal enemies—all of them staring at him with unkind expressions.
"What's the problem? If supervillains can be government officials, why can't I hire a few superheroes? Besides, except for their base salary, their monthly allowances all get deducted from my account anyway."Stark said confidently, rich as ever.
"I think you're doing this just to disgust me."
Kingpin's face twisted in disgust, as if he were looking at cockroaches crawling everywhere.Little did he know the superheroes felt equally disgusted looking at him.
"We're doing this for stability. What, you want to rely on your scumbag subordinates instead? If they mess things up and Bai Ye gets angry, you might find your head rolling."Stark shrugged.
"Do whatever you want. Just keep them out of my face," Kingpin grumbled.
Satisfied, Stark nodded, then addressed the gathered heroes and villains:
"Everyone quiet down. I know you all have grudges with each other, but since you're serving the country now, I want limited internal conflict."
"Limited internal conflict?"Everyone stared at him, confused.
"Put simply—a Batman-style no-kill rule. Even if another member commits a crime, you can't kill them, and you can't harm their relatives.All authority for promotions and dismissals goes to the three of us."
"But aside from killing, if you catch someone committing a crime and report it to Jarvis on the spot, you can retaliate within limits.Break arms, break legs, give them a concussion—whatever. As long as they're alive, we can save them."
The moment he finished, every face darkened—heroes because they couldn't eliminate villains, villains because the rule clearly favored heroes.
This rule was Stark's way of calming Kingpin's concerns. If both sides fought without restraint, the winners would simply be the ones willing to be more ruthless.
He had to let heroes enforce justice while giving villains enough fear to prevent desperate retaliation against families—a very fine line to balance.
After briefly explaining the rules, the small meeting ended.
The moment they stepped out of the White House, Daredevil slammed his shoulder straight into Bullseye.
"You picking a fight?"
Bullseye grinned. "Why not? Let's see what you've got."
In an instant, the two high-ranking officials rolled up their sleeves and started brawling.
"Lightning Cyclone Slash!!"
"Heaven-Shaking Tidal Crash!!"
Their blasts of dense internal energy collided, the ground beneath them collapsing at once.
And in front of the White House, many other hero–villain pairs were already fighting as well.Qi energies flew everywhere, scraping the ground bare.
"Let them fight. After they're all sent to the hospital, they won't have the energy to terrorize civilians," Stark remarked inside the White House.
Meanwhile, deep in the cosmos—on a dead, barren world…
A tall, purple-skinned man clad entirely in golden armor sat upon a throne.
Thanos.
Below him stood his loyal lieutenants, solemn and silent.
Thanos swept his gaze over them.
"I sense the Space Stone calling. It lies within what was once Asgard's territory."
"Asgard now drifts freely through the universe for unknown reasons. That region is unguarded, defenseless. Retrieving the Stone will be effortless.Who among you will go?"
As he spoke, Thanos extended the scepter embedded with the Mind Stone.
Ebony Maw stepped forward at once, respectfully taking the scepter with both hands.
"I am willing to go."
"Good. Notify the Chitauri, then after teleporting to the location, open a portal.Cleanse the planet while you're at it—kill half, leave half."Thanos commanded.
"As you desire."Ebony Maw bowed gracefully, then lifted himself into the air with telekinesis and departed.
