As Selvig operated the device, the Cosmic Cube emitted a strong blue light, and intense energy surged within the apparatus, like a miniature star, flashing with dazzling brilliance. Immediately, the entire device began to vibrate, and the air seemed to be filled with a strange pulling force, as if everything was about to be sucked in. Suddenly, a blue spatial rift violently opened in the air above the top floor of the building, the rift was incredibly deep, connecting to an unknown World.
The spatial passage gradually expanded, the rift rotating like a vortex, and the blue light shot straight into the sky, like a shining chain hanging down from the depths of the Universe. Selvig's eyes widened in horror as he watched this scene, his throat dry. Loki stood below the passage, his eyes gleaming with excitement, as if he had finally seen the scene he had dreamed of.
Just then, a golden figure flew from a distance at high speed. Thor, holding Mjolnir, descended from the sky, thunder and lightning surging and leaping on his hammer, like a ball of raging fire. "Loki! Your utterly foolish actions will destroy everything!" Thor's voice boomed through the air, his eyes filled with a hint of anger and sorrow.
Loki chuckled, responding indifferently, "Oh, my brother, destruction? No, this is just a step in reshaping order. You will see a stronger World!" Before he finished speaking, Chitauri soldiers poured out of the spatial rift in a continuous stream. Soldiers in metal armor descended like a tide around the building.
The Chitauri soldiers were clearly divided into different types with varied forms: elite soldiers held plasma rifles, firing around with cold efficiency, laser beams drawing fiery arcs in the air; snipers were hidden in the shadows of the rift, precisely shooting after locking onto their targets, as if they were cold-blooded machines born for hunting.
Even more threatening were a type of heavily armored soldiers with six mechanical tentacles, causing huge vibrations when they moved, the ends of the tentacles equipped with spikes and laser cannon muzzles, like a small tank, crushing everything around them.
Behind these soldiers, massive aircraft slowly appeared, hovering in the air like giant monsters, emitting a very oppressive mechanical roar, and spraying dense energy beams towards the ground. The aircraft also carried Chitauri bombing units, these guys swooped down like moths to a flame, wildly throwing explosive devices, the ground shattering under the sound of bombing.
Thor raised Mjolnir and roared as he charged towards the Chitauri soldiers, a blue lightning bolt striking the foremost Chitauri heavy soldier. The electric light swept like a storm, shattering the heavy soldier's armor. Seeing this, the other soldiers immediately turned and launched a counterattack against Thor, lasers and firepower interweaving into a dense net of fire. Thor rapidly swung his hammer, weaving through the hail of bullets, his eyes full of fighting spirit.
Loki watched from the side with cold eyes, a hint of a proud smile on his lips, as if all of this was exactly the scene he had been waiting for.
His eyes revealed madness and confidence, and he murmured in a low voice, "Brother, you will understand sooner or later, my way is the true liberation. Facing the absolute crushing force, any resistance is futile."
At this moment, the side door of the Chitauri aircraft opened, and hundreds of soldiers flew out in unison, quickly surrounding Thor and firing a concentrated barrage of fire at him. Thor swung his hammer forcefully, creating a large rotating shield of lightning, deflecting the aircraft's attack. Blue currents raged in the air, forcing the Chitauri soldiers to retreat.
Loki's laughter echoed on the chaotic battlefield. He stood in front of the spatial rift, looking like a "god" who had descended to Earth. He raised his hands high, as if to embrace the coming victory, his eyes flashing with fanatical light, and he declared loudly, "Surrender, mortals! Today, you will witness the true power of a god!"
Thor roared and leaped up, charging towards Loki. Seeing this, Loki gave a cold smile and instantly disappeared in a ball of blue light, reappearing a few meters away. He raised his scepter and waved the gem at the tip of the scepter towards Thor, a yellow beam of light shooting directly at Thor's face.
Thor immediately blocked the beam with Mjolnir, but the huge impact still made him retreat a few steps, a hint of unyielding fighting spirit appearing on his face.
"Loki, you won't succeed!" Thor's voice was firm, his eyes filled with the determination to stop Loki.
Tony, while circling in the air, glanced at several bizarre alien aircraft weaving between the buildings in Manhattan, and was stunned for a moment, the corner of his mouth twitching: "Oh, Jarvis, are these considered illegal entry?
You're not going to make me do an intergalactic immigration raid, are you?"
"Mr., I have detected the invasion of multiple alien species. It is recommended to take action as soon as possible," Jarvis's voice was calm and serious.
Tony frowned slightly, quickly adjusted the communication channel, and urgently contacted Pepper: "Pepper, listen, don't ask questions. Keep Happy by your side and lock all doors and windows. The situation is very serious, aliens are attacking New York."
Pepper on the other end hesitated for a moment: "Tony... you said aliens?"
"Yes, that's right, aliens, the kind from science fiction movies, and they have guns," Tony took a deep breath, his voice tinged with anxiety, "If Happy dares to leave your side, remember to dock his pay."

Tony suddenly accelerated and swooped down towards the nearest Chitauri aircraft, the missile system on his armor quickly locking onto the target.
He pressed the launch button without hesitation, and two small missiles drew an elegant arc in the air, heading straight for the enemy aircraft's tail. In a dazzling flash of explosion, the Chitauri aircraft was blown into a mid-air tumble, debris scattering down.
The next aircraft reacted extremely quickly, turning around sharply, and a blue laser swept towards Tony. Tony rolled rapidly in the air, narrowly avoiding the laser beam, and countered with an energy cannon, hitting the enemy aircraft's engine directly.
Smoke billowed from the aircraft, and it turned awkwardly, crashing into a nearby building.
Tony sneered, his eyes sharp, and he mocked himself, "Is that all? Chitauri, are your standards for invading Earth a bit low?
It looks like your flight school graduates aren't as good as Happy learning to drive."
Suddenly, two more Chitauri aircraft attacked Tony from behind, a blue energy beam heading straight for his engine. He plunged sharply to avoid it, then pulled up, circling below the enemy aircraft in an extreme maneuver. He quickly locked onto the target, aiming the miniature missiles on his arms at one of the aircraft. With a flick of his finger, the missiles cut through the air, accurately hitting the target and blowing the enemy aircraft into a mid-air tumble.
The remaining aircraft clearly realized that this Earthling was no ordinary opponent, and immediately turned, launching a continuous attack on him. Laser beams burst around Tony, the flickering fire almost surrounding him.
However, Tony's armor was flexible and agile, instantly switching to high-speed flight mode, weaving between the laser beams, his figure like a red and gold stream of light, dodging freely.
"Jarvis, give me some more firepower," Tony calmly gave instructions while adjusting his tactics. A pair of high-energy particle cannons popped out of the armor, and as he raised his arms, a searing red light erupted from the particle cannons, instantly tearing through the air and hitting the cockpit of one of the aircraft. The enemy aircraft immediately exploded into a fireball, smoke filling the air.
The remaining aircraft seemed to be completely enraged, and several blue laser beams swept wildly, as if to surround Tony in a net of fire. Tony was fearless, quickly plunging in the opposite direction. Just as he was about to touch the ground, he suddenly pulled up, ascending to high altitude again. The aircraft chased him from behind, but he easily led them between the dense buildings.
Tony sneered, suddenly coming to a sharp stop in front of a tall building. The aircraft couldn't brake in time and slammed hard into the building's outer wall. The explosion of flames and debris scattered in all directions, and the entire aircraft was blown into pieces on the spot.
Tony breathed a sigh of relief, lightly patted the armor's control panel, and murmured, "Well, welcome to New York, little aliens. Unfortunately, this is not your playground."
