Loki stood atop Stark Tower, a champagne glass in hand, his eyes glinting with triumph and cunning. He took a delicate sip of champagne, his smile slowly spreading, and then burst into laughter, looking down at everything on the battlefield. He enveloped the scepter with magic, watching the Avengers struggle with difficulty, a look of almost mocking pleasure in his eyes.
"Hahaha... Is this what you call a team of heroes? You can't even stop these low-level Chitauri soldiers, yet you foolishly hope to stop me?" he muttered to himself, a hint of elegant disdain in his tone, raising his glass as if toasting a victory banquet.
Loki's gaze shifted, suddenly stopping on Blonsky in the battlefield. The guy's face was ferocious, his muscles bulging, tearing apart Chitauri soldiers with destructive force, like an out-of-control Beast. Loki raised an eyebrow with slight interest, smiled lightly, and muttered to himself, "Hmm, a black and gray monster, quite... impressive. Perhaps, I should have a subordinate like this."
Just then, Blonsky roared, swinging his thick arms to smash a Chitauri flyer to the ground, stirring up fire and debris. But the Chitauri soldiers, under the effect of Loki's enhancement magic, became increasingly difficult to deal with. They swarmed towards Blonsky in groups, lasers and sharp metal blades attacking him densely all around, making him furious.
"Damn alien bugs!" Blonsky growled, slamming his fists violently into the ground, kicking up dust and stones. He panted, staring fiercely at the group of Chitauri in front of him, "Today, I'm going to crush all of you into dust!"
However, no sooner had he finished speaking than a beam of red laser light shot out from behind him, directly sweeping the large wave of Chitauri soldiers in front into pieces. In the firelight, Dominic's figure slowly emerged, wearing that confident smile, his eyes cold and defiant.
"Can't believe I actually have to do it myself," Dominic said lazily, raising a hand to pat Blonsky's shoulder, a hint of playfulness in his eyes, "A group of miscellaneous soldiers like this got you out of breath?"
Blonsky glared at Dominic, full of defiance, "Dominic, these bugs just got a little bit of crappy magic added, you try it?! But good thing you're here." Saying that, he took a breath, but the fighting spirit in his heart hadn't diminished at all.
Dominic gave a light snort, and said with a cold smile, "Enhancement is just a joke, watch me clear the field in three seconds!" As soon as his voice fell, a red light flashed in his eyes, and in an instant, a powerful laser beam accurately penetrated the swarming Chitauri soldiers in front. Wherever the beam went, all enemies instantly turned into charred debris, leaving only a straight scorched line on the ground.
Blonsky watched this scene, couldn't help but shake his head, and said with a hint of admiration and some annoyance, "Dominic, you're really ruthless."
Dominic shrugged lightly, his tone full of nonchalant confidence, "If you ask me, these alien miscellaneous soldiers can at most give my eyes a bit of exercise, they're not a challenge." He patted Blonsky's shoulder, a triumphant smile on his face, "Don't let me see you getting surrounded by such small characters again, it's embarrassing."
Blonsky's mouth twitched slightly, but he couldn't help but grin, "Hmph, Dominic, go ahead and show off if you like, anyway, these guys don't have much ability. I'm just leaving them for you to practice on."
Dominic blinked and smiled, "You have good taste." After saying that, he casually waved away some rushing Chitauri soldiers, looked back at Loki on the rooftop, a hint of disdain flashing in his eyes, "That 'self-proclaimed god' is probably drinking champagne and watching the show."
Blonsky snorted, saying full of killing intent, "After I clear the field, I'll have to smash that glass of champagne in his face."
"Alright, then hurry up." Dominic's mouth curved up, his tone carrying an undeniable coldness, "Let's see if he even has the life to be a god."
Under Blonsky's Beast-like charge, the Chitauri were torn into wreckage like a tide. Smoke filled the battlefield, Blonsky's laughter and roars echoed, his arms swinging, fists and claws intertwined, destroying the surrounding aliens to pieces. His eyes were red, and he was completely immersed in the pleasure of revenge.
Meanwhile, Dominic soared through the air like a beam of light, his Cyclops scanning out an invincible path, where no Chitauri soldier could resist. Broken flyers and metal debris were scattered all over the ground, fire and smoke interwoven into a scene of purgatory.
"Hey, Blonsky! Leave one of the breathing guys for me, I haven't warmed up enough yet!" Dominic shouted playfully, flying towards the high platform where Loki was with lightning speed.
Blonsky grinned, swinging his huge fists to knock down more enemies, and shouted, "Dominic, pick whoever you want! What are these alien Miscellaneous fish? Smash as many as come!"
Dominic used his Cyclops to clear another path, rushing directly in front of Loki. The moment he landed, a cloud of dust rose behind him, bringing a sense of oppression.
Loki slowly turned around, facing Dominic's appearance, a flicker of anger in his eyes, a disdainful smile on his lips, still maintaining his arrogant demeanor. "You finally came, rebel of Earth," he said, raising the scepter in his hand, his eyes showing indomitable pride and contempt, "I'll give you one last chance, surrender to me, Earth needs a true god, and you - are just a mortal."
Dominic shrugged, his eyes full of playfulness, and said slowly, "Is that so? Sounds like you're really good at it. But, Loki, you're really boring. Always thinking about ruling, everyone has to listen to you, why? Isn't that tiring? This is a high-pressure job, no matter who it is, they'll eventually get so tired they need medicine - oh right, do you know what taking medicine is?" He smiled mischievously and took a step closer, shaking his head and sighing, "Besides, ruling? Who does that these days? A guy who fights and kills all day, doesn't know how to enjoy life, and calls himself a 'god'? If I were like you every day, I'd probably have to find an asteroid to recuperate on."
Loki's expression stiffened slightly for a moment, he tried his best to maintain his arrogant kingly aura, but the anger in his eyes clearly increased. "Hmph, fool of Earth! Do you think so-called freedom is a gift? No, it is your greatest weakness. I can bring you peace, order, make this World submit, surrender to me!"
Dominic raised an eyebrow, and sneered mercilessly, "Surrender? Wow, is your 'god' vocabulary a bit lacking? You're really a workaholic. I say, Loki, you live such a tiring life, why not change your way of thinking? Try being a normal person, stop thinking about ruling this and ruling that, maybe you'll find - life actually has a lot of fun, even -" He lowered his voice as if being mysterious, "Hiding in a bar every day and having a small argument with the little buddies on Earth, that's the fun of life."
Loki's eyes turned cold, his hands gripping the scepter tightly, glaring at Dominic, his words becoming more forceful, "The 'pleasures' on Earth are just fleeting illusions. I am a god, my destiny is to rule, not - to be a dissolute Earth mortal!" His voice was low and threatening, as if vowing to prove his divine status.
Dominic ignored his anger, his hands in his pockets, and continued slowly, "Oh dear, look at you, looking like you're about to collapse. Come on, old Loki, relax, try to let go of that 'god' heart of yours. Frankly, that serious face of yours is really hilarious. You think you can achieve 'god's glory' by ruling Earth? Why not put down the scepter, have a coke, and enjoy the peace? At worst, take a vacation, how about that?"
Loki was completely enraged, roaring with fury, "Dominic, you are mocking a god! You and your lowly race are not worthy of understanding the greatness of a god!" He brandished the scepter, glaring at this indomitable mortal in front of him, his words full of contempt and determination.
Dominic still maintained that indifferent smile, lightly patted Loki's shoulder, a hint of playfulness in his eyes, "Wow, still playing the 'god' card? Come on, Loki, nobody likes to be forced, to be conquered. You might as well put down your 'god's mission' early and change careers - why not try running for office? President of America? You'll have lots of 'loyal followers'!" After saying that, he took a step back, waving lightly, as if making a casual farewell.
Loki was so angry that fire almost shot out of his eyes, he gritted his teeth, the scepter in his hand flashing with yellow light, as if a devastating attack would strike the next second. His tone was extremely cold, gritting his teeth and growling, "You will regret this, mortal!"
Dominic smiled nonchalantly, making a gesture for him to proceed, "Come on, go ahead and try. Let's see if your 'god' is more powerful, or if I, this 'mortal', am more fearless." His expression was calm, not taking Loki's threat seriously at all.
Loki took a deep breath, his eyes filled with anger and unwillingness, but he also knew that the power of the guy opposite him was not something he could deal with casually.
