Chapter 100 - The Last Battle of Glory

Dominic spun rapidly in the air, deftly dodging Loki's attack, then abruptly stopped, watching the other party coldly. A hint of worry flashed in his eyes, and his tone was a warning: "Loki, if you keep this up, you'll die."

A hint of mad laughter appeared on Loki's face, and the Mind Stone in his hand emitted a strong blue light. His entire body was enveloped by an endless stream of magic, as if power had overflowed from his skin, and even the air was distorted by the vibrations. He laughed loudly and responded coldly: "Die? For me, death is just a small price. A true king doesn't care about these!" He suddenly swung the scepter at Dominic, letting out an angry roar. The magical power around him erupted violently, with ice and lightning intertwined, forming a powerful energy wave that rushed towards Dominic.

Dominic blocked with all his might, his arms trembling slightly from the magic Impact, feeling the violence of Loki's power. He could even feel the other party's prejudiced and determined will—a resolve to turn everything into sacrifice. Dominic shook his head with a hint of helplessness and said in a low voice: "Your body is already starting to not be able to withstand this energy, can't you feel it? This isn't power, this is self-destruction."

Loki barely stabilized his figure, a wild smile on the corner of his mouth: "What if it's self-destruction? As long as my will doesn't die out, my power won't perish." His hand trembled slightly, and energy constantly surged within him, as if it could break through the constraints of his body at any time. His voice was hoarse and firm, as if proclaiming his belief, "A true king will not fear any outcome... I will use all my power to prove my existence!"

Dominic sighed inwardly. The Loki before him was already different from the cunning but struggling god he had felt in the series. His personality had been completely twisted, even making him prejudicedly pursue the "kingly way" at all costs. Perhaps it was the influence of the Mind Stone, or perhaps Loki's long-suppressed desire for conquest had been completely released. In short, in this state, he could not listen to anyone's advice.

"The way you are now..." Dominic shook his head, the good impression he had of Loki gradually disappearing. "I thought you would have room to turn back, but now it seems you will either die in battle or completely collapse. There's no way you'll surrender." As soon as he finished speaking, his aura suddenly increased. Fiery energy erupted from within him, and a faint red light rose around his body, completely isolating the coldness outside.

Seeing this, Loki showed disdain, gripped the Mind Stone, roared, and suddenly rushed towards Dominic. Ice and dark energy intertwined, like a surging giant wave rushing towards Dominic. The two instantly fell into a fierce confrontation. Each blow carried the power to shake the heavens and the earth. The sky seemed to be torn apart, the surrounding buildings constantly collapsed, the ground trembled, and rubble flew.

Dominic's face returned to its usual indifference, focusing on dealing with Loki's violent attacks. Although each blow carried immense pressure, he remained calm, sometimes retreating, sometimes dodging, completely deflecting the attacks. Seeing this scene, Loki's anger grew even stronger. He gritted his teeth and increased his strength, roaring: "Do you think you can escape like this? I will never give up!"

Suddenly, a slight flaw appeared in Loki's attack. His body seemed to tremble slightly, and the scepter loosened for a moment. Dominic keenly noticed this opportunity, quickly approached Loki, gathered fiery red light in his hand, and delivered a fierce shockwave to Loki's chest, forcing him to retreat repeatedly.

"You've really reached your limit," Dominic said coldly, with a hint of pity in his voice. "If you continue, you're just looking for death, Loki."

Loki was panting, a defiant smile still on his face. Although his strength was on the verge of exhaustion, he still held the scepter tightly, refusing to back down. He chuckled in a low voice: "No, I will be the one to end all of this. My belief will never collapse!" His words were full of mad determination, and his eyes were still fiery and firm, as if nothing could shake him.

Dominic calmly observed Loki while slowly shaking his head. This battle would end in the most extreme way, and neither side would easily let the other go.

Dominic's figure flashed, and he swiftly kicked the Mind Stone in Loki's hand. The scepter instantly flew out, arcing through the air and heavily hitting the ground. Loki's expression changed, and anger surged into his heart. He gritted his teeth and cursed in a low voice: "Damn it!" Immediately, he quickly gathered magic with both hands, and cold air scattered around him, preparing to cast spells again. Just as he was about to act, a heavy booming sound echoed in the air.

Thor's Mjolnir descended from the sky, landing precisely between Loki and Dominic, smashing heavily into the ground, sending rubble flying and carrying an inviolable majesty. Thor stepped forward, his eyes fixed on Loki with determination, and said in a low but resolute tone: "Enough, Loki. What you are pursuing will only lead to your self-destruction."

Loki sneered, a hint of struggle and unwillingness flashing in his eyes, and scoffed: "You want to stop me too? Are you, this so-called god of justice, content to watch me ascend the throne and then try to pull me down?" Before he finished speaking, ice magic gathered at his fingertips again.

Thor took a deep breath, gazed steadily at Loki, and replied calmly: "I have always acknowledged you, Loki, but I don't approve of the path you have chosen, and this... this way of dying." His words were full of deep brotherly affection, and his eyes were complex, seeming to contain sadness and regret.

Hearing this, Loki was silent for a moment, then suddenly burst into laughter, a complex emotion mixed with the laughter, as if some long-suppressed emotion had finally been released. He cast a sarcastic glance at Thor and said coldly: "Acknowledge me? You're just a brute who swings a hammer. Your acknowledgment is worthless to me! Have you ever truly understood me? From childhood to adulthood, I have always been the shadow standing under your light. Your acknowledgment is just charity!"

He paused, his tone carrying a bone-chilling coldness, and continued: "From Odin to the people of Asgard, everyone worships you, sees you as a god and a hero, and what about me? I am just a 'god of mischief' who is ridiculed and doubted, an insignificant existence. Do you think your words can comfort me? Can they cover up your indifferent neglect of me?"

Thor listened to Loki's accusations, his brows furrowed, his fists clenched, but he did not speak to refute. He knew that the pain and anger in Loki's heart over the years were things he had not noticed. Loki's voice was full of mockery and self-deprecation: "Acknowledge me? I don't care about your so-called acknowledgment now. I will ascend the throne in my own way, even if it means destruction, it's better than being a shadow at your feet!"

As the words fell, there was a moment of silence in the air. Thor's heart ached faintly, but he still did not back down. He gazed at Loki, his voice still calm but full of determination: "You are my brother. I cannot let you fall deeper and deeper down this path. We are both of Asgard's royal family and have a responsibility to protect this Universe, not to destroy it with hatred."

Just as the two brothers were confronting each other, a rumbling vibration came from a distance. Both of them turned their heads at the same time and saw Dominic's agile figure flying towards the direction of the space channel, going to Servig, gradually compressing the edge of the channel. The space began to fluctuate violently, and there were faint signs of closing.

"This guy actually closed the channel..." Thor murmured in a low voice, a hint of admiration flashing in his eyes. Then he turned to Loki, his expression solemn and his tone firm, saying: "Loki, this is all over, you lost."

Hearing this, the cold smile on Loki's face gradually disappeared, replaced by a cold majesty. He stood up straight, as if he had not heard the word "failure". He slightly raised his head, his eyes still revealing an unyielding light, and said in a low voice: "I may have been at a disadvantage in the fight, but I haven't lost. I will not apologize for my choices, nor will I live under your protection."

Thor frowned slightly, facing such a Loki, not knowing how to respond. A stubborn smile appeared on the corner of Loki's mouth, as if carrying his last pride and self-respect, and he said softly: "I may retreat temporarily, but I will never bow my head. Whether on the battlefield or on the throne, Loki will not admit defeat."
