The air in the lab became exceptionally stagnant. Ultron's gaze turned to the lab's screen, data flashing rapidly, and lines of red alert messages seemed to roar silently. His eyes flickered with red light, and his tone revealed undisguised anger: "Who? Who destroyed my armor?"
His answer was a deafening explosion, and the entire lab shook violently. The metal panels on the walls were ripped off, sparks flew, and debris scattered. Ultron gave a cold laugh, then turned to look at the last suit of armor, which was holding the Mind Stone, standing quietly in the center of the lab.
"Give it to me." Ultron's voice was low, carrying unquestionable pressure.
The armor's arm mechanically lifted, the blue light of the Mind Stone flickering slightly in its palm. However, just as it was about to throw the scepter towards Ultron, a figure suddenly lunged from the side. Helen Cho leaped up without hesitation, grabbed the scepter with both hands, and pulled it down forcefully.
Ultron's gaze suddenly turned cold, his tone as biting as a cold wind: "You truly overestimate yourself."
Before he could act, four figures burst into the lab amidst the explosion's firelight. Natasha rolled in first, instantly aiming her twin pistols at Ultron's chest, her eyes sharp. Clint followed closely, an arrow nocked, pointing at the armor. Banner stood at the back, his gaze hesitant but firm, while Coulson calmly surveyed his surroundings, weapon in hand, as if ready to find cover at any moment.
"Ultron," Natasha said coldly, her twin pistols aimed steadily at him, "The game ends here."
Ultron, however, didn't care at all, even showing a mocking sneer: "Game? This game has only just begun. And you are not yet qualified to be players." As he spoke, his gaze swept over the Mind Stone in Helen Cho's hand, then looked at the four people standing in front of her, the red light in his eyes flashing even more dazzlingly.
"This scepter is mine," Ultron said in a low voice, raising his arm, the blue light in his palm beginning to gather. But then, he stopped, as if he had changed his mind. The corner of his mouth curved slightly, and his tone held a hint of contempt: "But, never mind... Our fight is not now."
Before he finished speaking, Ultron's figure suddenly soared into the air, his mechanical body transforming into a silver stream of light, piercing through the lab's ceiling and disappearing into the night sky with a sharp whooshing sound. Smoke and dust spread where he vanished, and the lab instantly fell silent, leaving only the hum of the instruments.
Coulson breathed a sigh of relief and looked at Helen Cho: "Are you okay?"
Helen Cho held the Mind Stone tightly and nodded. Although her expression was still a little flustered, her tone remained calm: "I'm fine. He didn't hurt me."
Natasha stepped forward, looking at the scepter in Helen Cho's hand, her brow furrowing slightly: "So... this is what Ultron is willing to do anything to get back?"
Banner said in a low voice, with a hint of hesitation in his tone: "It's Loki's scepter. There's a powerful energy in its core, some kind of... artificial intelligence power."
Coulson frowned: "Artificial intelligence? Didn't Tony already use it to create Ultron?"
Banner hesitated for a moment, seemingly reluctant to mention it, but finally said: "Knowing Tony, he might want to... try again."
Hearing this, Natasha's expression instantly turned cold: "Try again? Are you saying, create another 'Ultron'?"
"Wait, wait!" Banner quickly waved his hands, trying to calm everyone's doubts, "Not 'Ultron'. I believe Tony. He won't make the same mistake again. This time, we will be involved together, not let him act alone."
Natasha raised an eyebrow, her eyes full of distrust: "You think this will solve the problem?"
Clint didn't speak, just looked at Natasha, a complex emotion flashing in his eyes. Helen Cho, however, stepped forward and said calmly: "Perhaps we can try to trust Tony. This time, we are not just spectators, but acting together, controlling together."
"Exactly!" Banner nodded, with a hint of eagerness in his tone, "We will set the rules together and oversee the entire process together. This isn't just Tony's plan, this is our plan."
Natasha looked at them, sighed softly, and finally nodded: "Alright, but if something goes wrong again, I won't let him off easily."
Coulson chuckled softly and patted Natasha's shoulder: "Don't worry, nobody will let him off."
Helen Cho sighed in relief and handed the scepter to Coulson: "You should keep this. All I can do is assist as much as possible."
Coulson took the scepter, looking at the blue light it emitted with a complex gaze: "I hope this time, we won't lose control again."
The atmosphere in the lab finally calmed down, but in everyone's heart, a seed of unease had been planted.
The Guardians of the Galaxy's ship shuttled elegantly through space. Outside the viewport, the starlit river was dreamlike and illusory, the twinkling lights weaving a magnificent cosmic tapestry. However, the atmosphere inside the ship was completely contrary to the quiet outside, with noisy sounds rising and falling.
"Earth, my home!" Quill raised his hands high, announcing excitedly, "Here I come!" He stood in the center of the cockpit, like an overly excited child, looking expectantly at the navigation screen in front of the ship.
"Can you be quiet?" Rocket covered his ears with his paws, glaring impatiently at Quill, "You look like a furball whose toy was stolen."
"Don't say that, Rocket." Quill grinned, putting his arm around Rocket's shoulder, and forcefully pulled his paw away from his ear, "Earth is the best place in the Universe. It has beautiful scenery, music, and... beauties."
Rocket rolled his eyes, his tone full of sarcasm: "Oh, sounds like a Planet that was robbed by aliens and then thrown out. How impressive."
"Hey, Rocket." Dominic's voice came from the side. He leaned against the ship's wall, arms crossed, with a half-smile on his face, "When you get to Earth, you'll know that Quill isn't exaggerating at all."
"Really?" Mantis blinked her eyes curiously and leaned closer to Dominic, "Is Earth really as Quill said, full of beautiful things?"
"Yes," Dominic nodded, his tone carrying a hint of nostalgia, "Earth has towering mountains, vast oceans, and—most importantly, fine wine and barbecue."
"Barbecue?" Drax suddenly sat up straight, his eyes shining, "That sounds like food fit for a warrior."
"Indeed." Dominic chuckled lightly, "But I have to warn you, while Earth's barbecue is delicious, it might not necessarily suit your taste."
"No way!" Drax said firmly, "I can eat anything. My stomach is stronger than all of yours combined."
"Oh, really?" Rocket raised an eyebrow, a mischievous smile playing on his lips, "How about we find some Earth chilies for you to try when we get there? I heard that stuff can burn through your stomach."
"Stop messing around, Rocket." Gamora sat in the pilot's seat, her hands steadily controlling the ship, "We're going to Earth for serious business, not to make Drax a test subject."
"Right, right, serious business." Quill nodded, saying with a straight face, "The serious business is showing you the beauty of Earth—uh, I mean the beautiful scenery."
Gamora glanced at him out of the corner of her eye, her tone calm but with a hint of coldness: "Do you mean the purpose of this trip is to waste time?"
"How could that be!" Quill quickly waved his hands, a fawning smile on his face, "I mean, we can do serious business while enjoying the scenery."
"Quill, I think if you keep talking like that, Gamora might throw you out the viewport." Dominic's tone was full of teasing.
"Hey, don't be like that." Quill looked at Dominic with a bitter face, "We're fellow countrymen, you should put in a good word for me."
"I only help the reasonable side." Dominic shrugged, "Clearly, you're not in that category."
"Uh, just my luck." Quill sighed, then as if remembering something, suddenly asked, "Dominic, what are you going back to Earth for? Don't tell me you're going to see some old flame."
"Old flame?" Mantis looked at Dominic with an innocent expression, "Does Dominic have an old flame?"
"No," Dominic replied blandly, his tone without any fluctuation, "I'm going back because there's something more important I need to do."
"Something important?" Gamora's gaze shifted from the navigation screen to Dominic, "What is it?"
"You'll know when the time comes." Dominic didn't say anything more, just slightly curved the corner of his mouth, showing a meaningful smile.
"How mysterious," Rocket muttered, continuing to tinker with his small tools, "But I am interested in Earth's weapons. I heard humans there particularly like making bombs. Can you get me a few?"
"All you know is bombs," Quill shook his head helplessly, "Earth has many other interesting things, like bars, dance floors, and... you know, hot women."
"Sounds like a battlefield," Drax nodded seriously, "A bar sounds like a good place for warriors to socialize. I'm looking forward to it."
"Oh my God," Gamora rubbed her forehead, her tone full of helplessness, "Is this trip to complete a mission, or to watch your antics?"
Quill reached out and put his hand on the back of Gamora's chair, saying with a grin: "Relax, Gamora, Earth is a very special place. You'll like it, I promise."
The ship continued flying towards Earth, and the cheerful noise inside the cabin was gradually covered by the beautiful scenery of the starlit river.
