Chapter 174 - The Judge Arrives

In the lobby of Xavier's School, the air seemed to freeze for a moment. Professor X sat quietly in his wheelchair, his gaze sweeping over everyone before him. His voice was low and calm: "Logan, what do you think?"

Logan leaned against the wall, arms crossed, his eyes cold and sharp: "My opinion? Not going. These guys don't look like the type to bring anything good."

Deadpool immediately made an exaggerated gesture of being shot by an arrow, clutching his chest with a drawn-out voice: "Ah, Uncle Wolf, your bluntness has utterly broken my heart! You're supposed to be the coolest anti-hero on the team, but now you're so... uh, righteous. What a pity."

Jean Grey couldn't help but frown slightly, while Scott was already glaring impatiently at Deadpool. Deadpool, however, seemed completely oblivious, turning to Professor X and holding up a finger: "Professor, listen to me, this is a perfect opportunity to fight that bad guy Stryker! Besides, what if he makes a big splash? You wouldn't want to miss that, would you?"

Just as he finished speaking, before anyone could reply, Dominic suddenly looked up, his expression icy, his gaze piercing through the wall and staring into the distance: "Someone is coming to attack."

"Attack?" Scott frowned, and both Jean and Storm looked out the window in unison, but as far as their eyes could see, everything was calm.

Logan leaned forward slightly, his tone low: "What are you talking about?"

Before he finished speaking, a low rumble suddenly echoed from the distance. The entire school trembled slightly, the glass in the windows vibrated faintly, followed by a huge explosion that instantly tore apart a section of the school's outer wall.

"Damn it!" Scott yelled, quickly pressing the button on his visor. A crimson energy beam shot towards the incoming enemies. A line of heavily armed soldiers emerged from the smoke, wearing tactical armor, carrying high-tech weapons, and their faces were expressionless, clearly well-trained killers.

"William Stryker's men." Logan cursed under his breath, his claws popped out with a *swish*, and he lunged forward. He pounced on the enemies with lightning speed, tearing the two soldiers in the front row into a bloody mess.

"Oh, the fun has arrived!" Deadpool excitedly drew his twin katanas, leaped onto the lobby's stair railing, spread his arms, and shouted: "Kids, welcome to the 'X-Men and Unreliable Friends Massacre Show'! Please enjoy."

As soon as his voice fell, he had already flipped and jumped into the center of the enemy, his twin katanas flashing, blood splattering everywhere. His mouth never stopped: "Who designed this armor? It's like it was tailor-made for my blades."

Outside, Storm had already flown into the air, arms spread. Dark clouds quickly gathered overhead, lightning tore through the sky, striking the enemies attempting to flank them. Several soldiers were charred black by the electricity, while others scattered and fled.

"Jean!" Professor X's voice was calm and firm, "Protect the students!"

Jean Grey nodded, suddenly raising her hands. An invisible force lifted several soldiers charging towards the building high into the air and slammed them heavily onto the ground, the action clean and decisive.

Meanwhile, the battle on the other side was even more intense. Dominic stood silently at the main entrance, one hand in his pocket, the other slowly raising. His eyes were as cold as ice, a red light flashed in his pupils, and a scorching beam of light erupted from his eyes, instantly reducing an entire row of soldiers to ashes.

"Can't you leave some for others?" Deadpool jumped onto the stair railing, slicing off a soldier's head while complaining, "I know you're cool, but this move is a bit of scene-stealing."

Dominic glanced back at him and said flatly: "Shut up, or you'll be next."

Deadpool immediately held up his hands, mimicking a surrender gesture: "Alright, Mr. Coolness, carry on."

The enemy's offensive became fiercer, but the combined efforts of the X-Men and the three "guests" had gradually stabilized the situation. Venom surged out of Eddie's body, swinging thick tentacles, flinging two soldiers against the wall like rags. Eddie's voice came from Venom, with a hint of complaint: "This isn't the daytime activity I imagined."

Venom grinned: "This is my perfect lunch break! More flesh and blood, and more Screams."

On the other side, Logan and Scott's coordination completely suppressed the enemy. Logan tore open the enemy's defense line with his claws, and Scott's energy beams accurately shot at any soldier attempting to counterattack from behind.

Suddenly, a large mechanical device appeared in the smoke. Several soldiers slowly pushed it into the lobby, and the top of the device flickered with blue arcs.

"It's an EMP pulse cannon!" Jean shouted, her voice carrying a hint of anxiety, "It will paralyze all electronic equipment and might even hurt us!"

"I'll handle it!" Storm's voice came from overhead, and immediately a more intense lightning strike hit the device, destroying it instantly.

The enemy clearly realized they had no chance in this battle and began to retreat in an orderly fashion. Deadpool chased after them, swinging his twin katanas, still shouting: "Don't run, guys, we're just getting started! This is a great chance to get to know each other!"

Amidst the ruins of Xavier's School, smoke filled the air, and the smell of burnt metal hung heavy. Dominic stood at the edge of a broken wall, his gaze fixed on a line of enemy troops surging like a tide in the distance. The battlefield was silent for a moment, the wind blowing the hem of his clothes, stirring up a cloud of ash.

He slowly took a step, the rubble beneath his feet making a slight crunching sound. This tiny movement alone caused the soldiers not far away to instinctively raise their weapons. Dominic lowered his head, a faint smile appearing at the corner of his mouth, then his body trembled slightly, and he suddenly transformed into a blurred afterimage, rushing out.

"Bang!" His fist accurately smashed into the chest of a soldier in the front row. The armor instantly shattered, and the soldier's body flew out like a cannonball, hitting the armored vehicle behind him hard, denting the vehicle body deeply. Blood splattered on the car window, and the surrounding soldiers were stunned for half a second before firing wildly, bullets pouring down like rain.

A trace of red light appeared in Dominic's eyes. His body rapidly weaved through the hail of bullets, each movement stirring up a strong gust of air. The bullets grazed his figure but couldn't touch his body. His palm suddenly swung forward, and a dull cracking sound echoed in the air. A visible shockwave swept across the enemy, the soldiers in the front row were directly thrown back several meters, blood splattering in mid-air.

"Wow!" Deadpool stood on the high wall of the school, cupping his hands around his mouth like a megaphone, "This is true killing art! Kids, remember to film this and upload it to 'Coolest Hero Moments'!"

Inside the school, young Mutant students gathered by the windows, watching this violent spectacle through the cracked glass. A little boy with a face full of freckles widened his eyes and couldn't help but shout: "He's awesome! Is this... a superhero from a movie?"

"Superhero?" another girl whispered, her voice containing a hint of uncertainty, "He looks more like an embodiment of vengeance."

Dominic had already reached the center of the enemy. With a slight flick of his finger, a soldier's weapon instantly disintegrated. He reached out and grabbed another enemy attempting to escape, slamming him hard onto the ground. The entire floor tile shattered like glass. Blood oozed from the cracks, but his movements were without hesitation. The next second, he suddenly turned around, the red light in his eyes like surging magma. A scorching beam of light swept across, instantly slicing several armored vehicles in half, the explosion's fire coloring half the sky orange-red.

William Stryker stood inside a command vehicle behind the battlefield, watching everything through a screen. His face remained cold and stern, but his clenched fists and slightly trembling jaw betrayed his inner unease. The adjutant beside him couldn't help but whisper: "General, who is he? Is he... a Mutant?"

"No." Stryker's voice was low and cold, "He is something more efficient, a killing machine."

Dominic's pace did not slow down at all. He approached the command vehicle with an unstoppable momentum. He reached out and grabbed an armored vehicle blocking his way, his arm muscles bulging. He lifted the steel weighing over ten tons with sheer force, then suddenly threw it. The armored vehicle, like a giant stone hurled by a catapult, slammed heavily into the enemy formation, the Impact of the explosion engulfing dozens of soldiers in flames.

At this moment, Dominic stood less than twenty meters in front of Stryker. His eyes glowed red again, his voice low and cold: "William Stryker. I've heard your name, but you will remember mine."

Stryker calmly pressed the communicator button, and the heavily armed soldiers behind him immediately surrounded him, each holding a special electromagnetic weapon, the muzzles flashing with blue arcs.

"Fire." Stryker's voice was like a cold wind in winter, devoid of emotion.

Over a dozen blue arcs shot towards Dominic simultaneously, the air filled with a scorching smell. But amidst the scorching light, Dominic's figure remained as steady as a rock. He turned slightly to the side, his palm suddenly swinging forward. The arcs seemed to be pulled by some invisible force and were directly deflected back, instantly piercing through the armor of several soldiers.

"Futile." Dominic said coldly, his voice low as if from the depths of hell.

He walked towards Stryker step by step, the ground beneath his feet trembling slightly with his pace. Soldiers tried to block his path but were easily torn apart like thin paper. His gaze was locked on Stryker, his eyes showing an undeniable judgment.

The students inside the school held their breath, watching the "hero" they had never seen before walk step by step towards the enemy's highest Commander. Storm stood by the window, whispering: "He's not just a warrior... he's more like some ancient god."

The battlefield was silent, the firelight reflected in the sky, thick smoke swirling upwards, as if to swallow this tragic scene. Under Dominic's pressure, Stryker's soldiers could no longer hold on. The defense line collapsed like a breached dam. Some threw down their weapons, some knelt and begged for mercy, while others tried to hide in broken cover, only to be flipped over by a casual blow from Dominic.

His gaze was fixed on Stryker, the look of a hunter at his prey, without any mercy. He leaned forward slightly, his eyes emitting dazzling heat rays. The scorching beams swept across the entire battlefield with unstoppable force. Armored vehicles instantly melted, ammunition boxes exploded into fragments, the sound of explosions like a frantic symphony, completely defeating the remaining soldiers.

"Now it's just you." Dominic walked towards Stryker step by step, each step like the tolling of a judgment bell on the battlefield, echoing all around.

Stryker was expressionless, but his tightly clenched fists on the edge of the command vehicle, his knuckles white, and the sweat beads on his forehead betrayed his inner turmoil. He murmured in a low voice: "What exactly are you?"

Dominic did not answer, only the slight crunching sound of the rubble beneath his feet. He stopped in front of Stryker, looking down at him, like a solemn god, while Stryker was merely a sinner about to be judged. A cold smile appeared at the corner of his mouth, his voice low and bone-chilling: "Ask yourself, when you decided to provoke me, were you prepared to face the consequences?"

Stryker gritted his teeth, a trace of stubbornness flickering in his eyes. He tried to reach for the pistol at his waist but found his arm unable to lift under Dominic's pressure.

"I don't need you to be prepared for anything." Dominic's voice was cold, "I just need you to understand what fear is."
