There is a significant gap between an Armed Doll and true Yandere Valkyries.
One's strength is A-rank.
The other is S-rank, some only S-rank because it's the highest rating.
Otherwise, their rating might exceed, like the Elysian Realm of the Previous Civilization.
Judah's strength meant she couldn't wreak havoc against an A-rank Valkyrie.
After Lucas's narration, Judah took a deep breath. "If it's just buying time, I'm fine. Don't underestimate me, human."
"How dare I? Just afraid you'll run halfway."
Lucas grumbled inwardly.
Armed Dolls deserting wasn't new, especially Klein and Cang Xuan's Book.
Judah, hands on hips, cheeks puffed, awaited his answer.
"That's good."
Lucas flashed a brilliant smile.
Judah held up two fingers. "Holding back an A-rank Valkyrie is tough. I need 150 cc of blood as payment. No problem?"
"Okay."
Lucas nodded.
Compared to tens of cc before, 150 cc was significant.
Lucas thought, "Bite to the neck this time?"
Oddly, the idea of Judah biting his neck excited him.
Heading to the teaching building, Lucas, the First Blood God of War, mentally checked Vielvie's name.
Who's next?
Before a wicked cackle, Lucas realized after getting the bodysuit tomorrow, he'd face Theresa again.
"I hope it succeeds."
Failure meant Theresa's dinner table again—a sad story.
In the teaching building, they neared the archives quickly.
Schicksal's archives were in a corner on the first floor, emergency lights flickering.
An A-rank Night Valkyrie, Kunna, stood at the entrance, expression blank, blue hair, gray eyes, blue dress, mini-skirt revealing alluring curves.
Lucas had admired her once—pleasing, but the result was grim.
Kunna enjoyed torture and murder, tormenting Lucas before killing him.
Hand on Judah's shoulder, Lucas said nothing.
Understanding, the white-haired, blue-eyed Vampire Miss nodded, entering a quantum state with blue light.
Incredibly cool.
Without sunglasses, Lucas couldn't peek.
Hiding, he waited.
"Judah, good luck…"
Time passed.
Lucas's heart pounded.
The archives weren't essential; he could ask Raiden Mei tomorrow for Welt Yang's office.
But Lucas was impatient for answers.
Battle sounds came from the archives entrance.
Judah ambushed Kunna, but as an A-rank Valkyrie, quick victory was impossible.
Lucas didn't expect Judah to win, just to lure Kunna away.
Judah wielded a giant axe, attacking repeatedly.
Kunna's black longsword moved elegantly, deflecting Judah's attacks effortlessly.
"Are you… the invader Headmaster spoke of?"
"Eliminate…"
"Must… be eliminated."
As Kunna adapted, her sword sped up.
Judah struggled.
After stalling, Judah fled without hesitation.
Kunna pursued coldly. "You can't escape."
As battle sounds faded, Lucas moved to the archives.
The unguarded room was locked, but the lock was trivial.
Prying it open, Lucas entered, finding shelves of paper files and computers.
Typing Welt Yang's name would reveal his office.
Sitting at a computer, Lucas pressed power…
Waiting anxiously, the old computer booted slowly.
Good news: it turned on.
Bad news: password required.
"Old system… should bypass easily."
With ninety-nine reincarnations, Lucas knew this world's computers, dabbling in basic hacking.
After less than a minute of typing, he bypassed the password, reaching the system interface.
A sudden noise outside startled him.
No windows, only one door—trapped.
He stopped typing, staring at the door. "Did Judah run?"
If Judah fled and Kunna returned, Lucas was a lamb to slaughter.
"Sound…"
"Hehehe…"
A Night Valkyrie's voice, not Kunna's—hers was cold, rational, only mad when torturing.
The commotion faded, and Lucas sighed in relief.
