Chapter 113 - Chapter 113: N307

Continuing to type, Lucas quickly found Welt Yang's files on the computer.

Too many files overwhelmed him.

With ten minutes for Judah's distraction, three gone, Lucas had less than seven minutes.

Why not have Judah distract Kunna for two minutes, search slowly for hours, then distract again?

Kunna wasn't ordinary; she'd notice activity inside. The archive's lock didn't block external keys.

If Kunna entered, Lucas would be tortured to death, as before.

Recalling grim scenes, Lucas sped up, clicking and scrolling.

"Found it," Lucas locked onto Welt Yang's former office: N307, teaching building.

St. Freya's teaching building was large, with a long corridor of classrooms and shorter office wings.

Mobius and Vielvie's labs were in Buildings N and S. Lucas, in Building N, needed to reach the third floor, N307.

Closing the computer, Lucas moved.

No need to wait for Judah; they'd meet at 4:30 outside.

Acting now was risky.

Judah and Kunna's cold weapon fight was quiet, but Night Valkyries were converging.

Lucas hid in an empty office as footsteps—high heels and sneakers—passed.

He waited silently until they faded, then tiptoed out.

Second floor, third floor… "N307."

Finding it was simple.

Lights flickered on the third floor.

At N307's doorplate, as Lucas reached out, a figure appeared.

"No footsteps?"

Pupils constricting, Lucas retreated, grabbing pepper spray, adopting a defensive stance.

A blonde, blue-eyed Night Valkyrie, hime-cut hair, emerald eyes, black dress, average bust.

Familiar, but Lucas couldn't recall her name—a C-level patrol Valkyrie.

"Hehe…I found you, Master…come play."

She grinned, fingers twisting freely.

"Hiss…Ghost Valkyrie?"

No footsteps—Ghost Valkyries move silently when lights flicker, only moving in light when spotting Lucas, initially slow.

Fight or flee?

Exposing his back was foolish.

Lucas fought, spraying pepper spray.

Sizzle!

Lights flickered; she dodged, reappearing behind him.

Sensing trouble, Lucas dropped the spray, drew a tranquilizer gun.

Small hands seized his neck.

"Ugh ah ah…"

The Valkyrie trembled, roaring, "Do you like it? Do you like it?"

Her bloodshot eyes widened, grip tightening.

Lucas's brain lacked oxygen.

Unpanicked, he'd pulled the trigger.

Whoosh!

The Valkyrie, focused on choking, didn't notice the dart hit her stomach.

Realizing it, she raged, intent on strangling Lucas.

Unsurprised, Lucas noted some Ghost Valkyries were lewd, others sadistic.

Direct killing was better.

"I won't…let you kill me!"

He activated Jadeite Divine Skill.
