Cherreads

Chapter 129 - Overseas

Sake didn't know about their antics in the brain chat.

Of course, when she rereads in the future, she will feel complicated and really want to tell no. 6 to stop dreaming.

Her appearance was not that top notch.

Even though it was not ugly, it was definitely far from those beauties like Vermouth and so on.

In any case, Sake headed to the familiar car and entered the backseat without hesitation.

"You're here, Sake." Vermouth, who was sitting on the passenger seat, was smoking and looked rather impatient.

The driver was naturally Bourbon.

"The flight is delayed," Sake replied calmly. "And the sniper in the north US shouldn't have been me."

"He died."

"Oh."

Another codename who died?

Sake hadn't heard about this matter, but it seemed that there would be some vacancies in some areas in the US now.

"You should tell Rum to fill in the vacancies," Sake said lightly.

"There will be an assessment," Vermouth replied lightly. "But this mission will require you to move in person."

"Target."

"Him."

A file was handed over and Sake read the content. Seeing the man's hobby, her expression turned a bit strange as she looked at Vermouth and Bourbon in front of her.

"It seems that I'll watch something fun~."

Conan's story has always been kept PG for children to read.

Even if there were deaths, but it has always been kept within a certain limit.

But if Sake has to say, her mission has never been children friendly because there was too much violence. She had seen the lowest of low and the depravity of those at the high position. There were too many things that she had seen.

None of them had involved the people whom she had seen in Conan so far.

Or even if there were some, it was not that bad.

Now that she was about to participate in this mission, Sake somehow anticipated it.

"Hahaha, I don't think you will see anything interesting, Sweetheart." Vermouth laughed and waved her hand lightly. She knew how to deal with it without actually causing her any losses.

Beside her, Bourbon also sneered and seemed to have disapproval with her idea of seeking fun.

"We shall see~."

Sake watched the show through the sniper scope from a distance.

The ghosts were keeping their distance and were responsible for monitoring her escape route. There were not many ghosts who came with her this time.

Morofushi Hiromitsu was watching over the Public Security Department.

After all, Sake was planning on fishing, so he had to keep the profile of these people.

It was not easy to ask Karin for this, so Morofushi Hiromitsu took the job.

Kenan was nearby while Aunt Kira was in the distance, helping her to keep the surveillance cameras clean of her record.

Sake could hear their conversation from the microphone.

How Vermouth coaxed the president into drinking and then talked about the negotiation. If she has to say, Vermouth is very skillful.

Even she wanted to blush just from listening in.

Bourbon was the waiter there, responsible for handing the drinks over and somehow also got dragged over to drink.

"Don't be so shy. Come over here." the president pulled Amuro Toru closer.

"Sir." Amoru Toru's tone revealed helplessness.

"Pfft." in their communication channel, Amuro Toru could hear Sake's suppressed laughter and he wanted to grit his teeth in anger, but he didn't dare to do so.

Vermouth looked surprised and asked in a hesitant tone, "This is…?"

"While I like big beauties, innocent boys are also good."

Sake couldn't help it and her shoulder was trembling as she suppressed her laughter. Watching as Amuro Toru looked shocked and then pretended to be shy, she really wanted to roll on the ground and laugh out loud.

Hahahaha!

She never expected that his infiltration mission would also be like this.

Seeing the man being dragged over to the president's room, Vermouth also couldn't help but chuckle. She reminded, "It's been a while since Bourbon suffered a loss, even if it's just a little bit. You better finish the job quickly, Sake."

Otherwise, Bourbon will be angry.

"It's rare for me to watch such a show, Vermouth," Sake replied, not caring about the fact that Bourbon was also listening since he also wore the communication device on his ear. "Also, their position is too far away from the window. You don't think that I can shoot so far away, right?"

Bourbon was gritting his teeth as he tried to coax the president to move closer to the window. At the same time, he also coaxed the president to drink to prolong the time.

After all, he had to ask questions while waiting for Vermouth to find what they were looking for.

"Vermouth, have you gotten it?" Sake asked as she watched Bourbon trying hard to act while restraining the president's move.

Watching the fun is watching, but she would not really let him suffer a loss.

Anyway, it was already fun enough to see him unable to do anything and pretended to be seducing this lecherous president.

"Wait a minute," Vermouth replied and then frowned. "Bourbon, ask him for the information's location."

This should have been Bourbon's task while she would be the one asking the question. But since the target suddenly became interested in Bourbon, they switched the task. Anyway, changing tasks in the middle of the mission was not that uncommon, but it was not that common either.

For codename members, they were usually flexible enough to handle something like this.

Bourbon gritted his teeth and asked with a sweet voice to the man in front of him, trying to make him speak.

"Such a beautiful night." Bourbon sighed. "The wine tastes really good."

"Hehe, baby, you're so cute." The middle aged man laughed heartily and lifted his glass. He was a bit drunk, so his footsteps were unsteady and a bit of red wine splashed to the ground. At the same time, a little bit of powder was mixed in.

Bourbon narrowed his eyes slightly, clearly seeing the little trick that the middle aged man did.

Tsk.

He does have a baby face, but he was definitely not an innocent man.

"What did you talk about before?" Bourbon walked closer to the window, trying to make the man also come closer to him. He glanced up and silently calculated where Sake was located.

She's a sniper and should have picked the best position to snipe the man.

"Do you want to know, baby?"

"Can't you tell me?" Bourbon's voice held an appropriate hint of grievances and curiosity. "Or it's a secret between you and that woman?"

Sake whistled at this right moment and Vermouth shook her head.

It was obvious that Sake was not afraid of being beaten up by Bourbon later on. She dared to provoke him even though they were currently doing missions together.

To be honest, Vermouth didn't understand why Rum wanted to pull Sake into this mission.

It was not like there were no other codename members in the US.

"Of course not." The man laughed and then beckoned for Bourbon to come closer. "Come here and I'll tell you~."

Bourbon frowned slightly.

He purposely stood near the window in order to let Sake snipe the middle aged man easily, but it was obvious that the man didn't want to get close to the window.

Tsk, it couldn't be helped.

He had to coax this man first before pulling him over.

So Bourbon could only come closer and then asked again about his conversation with Vermouth before, which he revealed while handing over the glass of wine to Bourbon.

A hint of disdain flashed within Bourbon's eyes.

Does he think that he didn't see that there were some drugs mixed in the drink that this man handed over?

What a dog.

If it was not for the information, he would have never wanted to suffer so much like this.

He was basically restraining his muscle memory or he would have thrown this man over the shoulder to the ground.

Anyway, he wouldn't really drink this wine.

Who knows what kind of drug was mixed in.
