Chapter 130 - Overseas (2)

Sake could hear Bourbon coaxing the man into revealing the information and purposely spilled the drugged wine over.

Tsk, tsk, tsk, no wonder Bourbon is the famous intelligence officer in the organization.

But the middle aged man was only giving the fake information and then he started to pour more wine, trying to drug Bourbon once again.

He was really stubborn.

And it seemed that he was really infatuated with Bourbon's face.

"Wow~. Bourbon's charm is really great to make even middle aged men fall for him," Sake sounded like she was having fun as she watched everything through the sniper scope.

She had to say that Bourbon was really patient enough to endure so much in order to get the information. Vermouth has been rummaging the room for a long time, but she still didn't manage to get the information that they wanted.

"Bourbon, try to ask again where he put it?"

"Are you lying to me?" Amuro Toru asked, his tone sounded aggrieved.

"Why should I lie to you?" the man chuckled and then moved to the side and clicked the button there. The originally bright room turned dark completely.

Amuro Toru's eyes sank slightly.

The curtain was only half open and without any light, can Sake shoot the man accurately?

But he had no time to worry about that as Bourbon used this chance to walk near the window. He wanted to pull the curtain more, but the man pulled him closer and then handed over the new glass of wine.

"Cheers," the middle aged man said, his eyes focused on Bourbon.

Bourbon knew that he had to figure out a way to distract this middle aged man even more.

Switching the drinks?

"Vermouth, Bourbon is about to be eaten up if you don't hurry," Sake reminded while whistling, looking like she was only watching the fun. But in fact, her finger was pressed on the trigger, ready to shoot at any moment.

It was fun to see him being dragged away.

But if she had to watch an R rated live performance by two men… Sake had the feeling that she would vomit.

Besides, she didn't really want to see him suffer so much.

Even if he might have suffered in the places she couldn't see, she didn't want to see it happening in front of her eyes when she obviously could do something to stop it before it was too far.

The half drawn and dark room was not a problem for Sake at all.

She could still see their position through their posture and calculated their situation through the voice that Bourbon made. They were not that far away from the window, it's still within her range. Right now, she was concentrating fully on this matter but her tone still sounded natural as if she was making fun of the other party in their communication channel.

Unfortunately, she couldn't showcase her nervousness and could only wait for Vermouth's instruction. The leader for this operation is Vermouth and Sake was only borrowed, so she couldn't act arbitrarily and cause their operation to fail.

"Tsk." Vermouth also looked impatient and after rummaging around and finding nothing, her eyes turned cold. "Kill him and search his body, Bourbon."

Bang!

The bullet penetrated the president's head from the back the instant the order was given. It was so fast that Sake didn't give Bourbon any time to react, causing blood to splatter on his handsome face.

Bourbon's eyes narrowed dangerously as he threw the body away to the side with disgust.

He hated blood.

But at the same time, he was thankful that these two people didn't let this disgusting man continue until the end.

Otherwise, he wouldn't be able to hold on and might even use force to pin him down.

If Sake truly didn't do anything, he would have done something else to complete the mission, though.

But it wouldn't stop him from cursing.

"Sake, you b*stard! Do you have to be so fast? can't you give me time to get away?"

"Don't be so irritable, Bourbon. If I let him kiss you or drug you, it'll be a worse experience for you~," Sake said lightly.

"Oh? You're about to be taken advantage of, Bourbon?" Vermouth sounded interested.

Bourbon took a deep breath, concealing the anger and annoyance in his heart as he said, "Of course not. This kind of trash couldn't possibly touch me even without Sake's help."

Vermouth chuckled. "Check him and see if the information is with him."

"I'm on it."

Bourbon quickly searched the president's body and finally found the small USB drive on his watch. It was carefully slipped in and was tightly protected by whoever designed it. Anyway, he had obtained what he wanted and would not stay on the scene any longer.

While Bourbon was searching the body, Sake looked at the notification that appeared in front of her with a frown.

[Unable to form a ghost]

'What do you mean that he's unable to form a ghost? I haven't used my ability today and he's a criminal. He's also the organization's target, so he should be able to become a ghost, right?'

Sake knew the requirement for her abilities better than anyone.

This middle aged man definitely fit the category.

[He died in front of a main character and there's no scientific explanation that could fit what he saw in front of him. The loophole will be found almost immediately, Miss Kurokawa]

Sake… no, Kurokawa Saki was stunned.

This is the first time this has happened.

Is it because they were now in the mainline or it was because she killed people in front of Bourbon?

But no…

This is not the first time Sake had killed someone in front of Bourbon.

She had killed several people in front of him personally back then.

'But why… wait, is it because I'm sniping the target directly and there's no possibility for him to be a fake one with Bourbon directly in front of him?'

Kurokawa Saki's mind turned fast as she looked at Bourbon in the distance.

After all, she had made some little gadgets that could help her accomplish fake killing in a short distance with a prop knife. There were also some blood bags that she prepared for the so-called drama if necessary for her ability.

It was not perfect, but it was enough to fool those who didn't know the truth.

Unfortunately, Sake rarely killed people in close combat and would usually snipe.

[Miss Kurokawa, no matter what the prop you make, you can't turn this man's death into a reasonable case]

'It's not a problem with sniping, right?' Kurokawa Saki's eyes narrowed.

So, this is probably what had happened to no. 2 too before.

He couldn't use his ability to get the information he wanted while she couldn't use her ability to create ghosts.

It's troublesome.

[No.]

'If I can make things that could guarantee fake death in front of the main characters, can I use my ability again?'

[No. 1, everything has to conform to science.]

So if her methods were above science, it meant that she wouldn't be able to do it.

Kurokawa Saki was silent for a moment before saying, 'Alright.'

While it was a pity for Kurokawa Saki to be unable to turn this middle aged man into a ghost, but what's done is done.

It was not like this is the first time Kurokawa Saki killed someone for real during her undercover period.

The organization had too many targets and with her taking so many missions back then for a period of time, it could be said that there were a lot of bloodsheds.

Moreover…

Her mission calculated both the people whom she saved and killed over the past three years.

Well, it was already nearly four years, though.

Kurokawa Saki sighed in her heart as she cleaned up her sniper rifle and left without hesitation. She didn't want to stay here any longer.

As for the information…

She will try to get it from Bourbon or Vermouth later one way or another. If it was really impossible to get, then she could only let it go.

Anyway, there's still the public security who might follow it up.

If only he had been turned into a ghost, it would have been much more easier for Kurokawa Saki to let Karin interrogate him and if his crime is too severe, she could appeal for the death penalty.

Anyway, the death penalty in the US seems to be easier than in Japan. In some other countries, there were also some criminals who had been killed by the death penalty, so they were officially dead and not just ghosts in status but also reality.

Sake came out of the building and headed out on her own. The communication channel was still connected, but the others were not speaking for a long time.

Only Bourbon said that he received the information and then the order to retreat. Well, of course not before he cursed Sake for making it difficult for him to retreat due to the blood splatter. If he came out like that, he would have been accused as a murderer right away.

But Sake ignored him, citing that as the top intelligent agent, he should be able to find a way to escape on his own.

Well, Bourbon is seething with rage now.

*cough*

And Vermouth was only watching the show.

They will escape through their own ways.

No one actually cared for what the others were doing.

'Hmm, I wonder how the others are doing.'

After receiving confirmation of mission completion and that they were allowed to go and rest, Sake checked her brain channel and her expression turned a bit strange.

Megumi Aiko was really…
