Chapter 178 - Kyoto

Damn it! How could there be bombs on their way?

Kayama Ichiro didn't know either and only felt his future was bleak. He came here after receiving a call from Sonoko who invited him. Even though he knew there would be cases, isn't this too much?

The two of them whispered to each other, making plans.

Sonoko looked at them strangely. "Their relationship is surprisingly good. I thought Conan didn't like Ichiro Kun."

"He just needs time to get along with each other." Mouri Ran smiled.

Hikari Yuki chuckled lightly.

If there were no cases, it was estimated that Conan and Kayama Ichiro would never get along.

She was happily listening to Mouri Ran and Sonoko while these two attempted to get the briefcase away.

First attempt, getting the man to leave but failed.

Second attempt, forcefully rushing over but then got defeated.

This middle aged man was quite strong!

And he was already quite defensive of them.

In the end, they managed to get the briefcase and Conan kicked it out from the window. It exploded midair with Conan and Kayama Ichiro looked exhausted.

'If a police officer had come and said they wanted to inspect, it might be easier. Oh wait, without an arrest warrant, it might not be that easy. People who have knowledge of the law wouldn't want their rights to be violated so easily.'

Anyway, the shinkansen was forced to stop midway and it was a bit late when they arrived in Kyoto. Hikari Yuki bid her farewell without hesitation and left.

Sonoko sighed because she wanted to go on a trip with Hikari Yuki.

"There'll be a chance in the future," Mouri Ran said consolingly.

"Yeah!"

Conan shook his head at these two and then glanced at Kayama Ichiro who was looking at Hikari Yuki back thoughtfully.

"Ichiro Nii?"

"Ah, sorry, I was thinking of something." Kayama Ichiro gave a smile and retracted his gaze. Throughout the trip, he actually forgot that there was someone like Hikari Yuki among them.

Her presence was terribly low.

Even though her appearance looked good and should have been attracting more attention, he couldn't sense any.

It was as if everyone forgot her existence.

Even he forgot about it.

Hmm, his ability is in cooldown, so he couldn't use it. Otherwise, he would be tempted to take a look at Hikari Yuki's belongings.

Hmm, maybe clothes?

But he wouldn't end up becoming a pervert, right?

Oh wait, things unsuitable for children has always been censored by his ability. He could only look at the other way of the item's memory.

It was sad.

Moreover, it was not like he could see everything. Even though it's said to be 24 hours, the images were usually jumping around fast.

Otherwise, his brain will hurt.

"You're not interested in her, are you?" Conan was suddenly alert. Hikari Yuki was such a good sister to him and Mouri Ran. He couldn't let her be led astray by someone as unreliable as Kayama Ichiro.

"What are you talking about?" Kayama Ichiro rolled his eyes.

She was not his type!

He preferred someone much prettier and plumper, hmph!

…

Hikari Yuki didn't know that Conan and Kayama Ichiro were bickering with each other. She was silently thinking of countermeasures to prevent Kayama Ichiro from getting information from her.

If he could get information from items, what should she do to prevent it?

AHH, this kind of thing is really troublesome.

And in the world of Conan, information has always been something extremely important.

His chosen ability was indeed very troublesome.

But Hikari Yuki would not give up easily.

For now, she had to make sure she hadn't just finished any organization mission before seeing Kayama Ichiro. If possible, she had to exchange everything she wore in order to prevent him from seeing anything unnecessary.

With that in mind, Hikari Yuki went to her safe house that she asked her ghost to prepare when she was in Osaka and then headed out as Sake.

First, she had to see Bourbon.

After that, it would be the time for their mission.

Hunting down traitors.

"You're late." Bourbon's mood was not very good when he saw Sake.

He was trying to finish his mission quickly so he could focus on Beika to investigate some things, but Rum suddenly said that he had to do missions with Sake.

He tried to probe and found out that it was because of Gin.

Great.

These people were really annoying.

And now, it was already half past one and Sake had just arrived.

"Something delayed me," Sake answered lazily, not caring about the fact that she was late and made Bourbon wait. Their relationship was not good and they didn't bother with pleasantries.

"What is it this time?"

"A few traitors escaped. Malbec has been hunting them down for so long but couldn't get all of them. This is the basic information and you can look for more. I want their location before midnight today," Sake replied as she put down the document on the table.

She heard about this yesterday and they had been running away for nearly 2 days.

A total of 3 people were running away and Malbec only managed to get one of them. The other two were still on the run and being hunted down.

The Boss scolded him and then sent others to help.

Since Sake is free, this task fell on her.

Tsk.

"Two people?" Bourbon asked, reading the information intently. He had to be the first to find them.

Otherwise, if the organization ended up finding them… what awaited them would be their deaths.

They have been running away for such a long time.

Can he delay longer?

But seeing Sake in front of him, Bourbon had the feeling that it would be impossible. He suppressed whatever thoughts he had in his mind and read the content.

"Can't you do it yourself?" Bourbon asked.

"Ah, I haven't been to Kyoto before," Sake replied lazily. "And that old guy didn't want to let me borrow his people, so work hard, Bourbon."

Bourbon clenched his fist, but there was a dangerous smile on his face. "Alright, I'll do this well, Sake."

Sake smiled in response and planned to find the organization base to borrow some weapons. After all, she couldn't really carry her own weapon to the shinkansen.

The two separated and Sake was patient enough.

She spent the day calculating the distance and various high buildings. While she wanted to do her job, she shouldn't showcase her sniping ability too much.

After all, the 50 skill points that she received last time… she used 40 of them to increase her sniping skills.

This further increased her sniping range.

But it was not that easy to make sure she finished her job within her image. She didn't want to work so hard for the Winery.

It was in the afternoon that Bourbon called, saying that Malbec people, Shiraz, had managed to find the target.
