Time to Crank Up the Intensity! Bee-Serpent Calamity
Gajda Kukulkan's teasing left Shuo's grin frozen mid-face.
She had a point. He'd been away for days now—if he kept fooling around outside, the castle's jealousy meter would explode. He could practically hear the sound of jealousy jars smashing back home.
"Guess I'd better head back to Itogami Island. I set up a teleportation circle in your room—if you start missing me, just drop by."
He stroked Gajda's delicate cheek, pulled her into a lingering kiss, and inhaled the fresh scent of her pale green hair before vanishing on the spot.
Gajda sat at the table, dazed, staring at the empty space where Shuo had just stood.
Should I have gone with him?
She shook off the thought. No. I'll wrap up things here in the Chaos Realm, then move in with Shuo on Itogami Island.
Decision made, she headed for the palace.
Back at the castle, Shuo materialized in the living room.
"Shuo-kun! You're back!"
The girls froze for a split second, then rushed over, voices overlapping in a chorus of greetings.
On the sofa, Shuo caught Natsuki's glare—a look so sharp it could cut glass. He coughed, scrambling for a distraction.
"Natsuki-chan, why are you looking at me like that? H-how's your recovery going?"
"My recovery?" Natsuki's cheeks tinted pink, her eyes flickering with embarrassment. "I'm fine. Nothing serious."
She'd spent the whole next day in bed after that night's 'growth experience,' only getting back on her feet thanks to healing magic.
"Don't even try to change the subject!" Natsuki snapped, teeth clenched. "It wouldn't take you this long to deal with the other two Primogenitors. You definitely did something with Gajda Kukulkan, didn't you?!"
That shameless brat! He'd done all that to her, then slipped away the next morning without a word—and now Gajda too…
Natsuki bit her lip, eyes narrowed in accusation.
The room's mood shifted. The girls who'd been worrying about Shuo now fixed him with dangerously sharp stares.
Great. We spent every day worrying about you, and you were out there living the good life.
"Senpai, you're way too much of a playboy!"
"There's already so many of us at home—aren't you satisfied?!"
"..."
Shuo felt a twinge of guilt, but recovered quickly, flashing a mischievous smile.
"Hey, I'm just trying to lighten the load for you all. You know my stamina—don't Natsuki-chan, Yuma, Aya, and Kanon-chan know that better than anyone?"
His words stunned the room.
Natsuki and Kanon, who'd already "crossed the line," blushed furiously. Kanon looked ready to faint, steam practically rising from her head.
Meanwhile, Nagisa, Yukina, and Sayaka could only glare, envy and frustration written all over their faces. They'd been first, and now they were falling behind.
The rest of the girls, though less overtly jealous, still shot Shuo wounded, longing looks.
It took all of Shuo's charm and quick thinking to calm the storm. Only then did the jealousy finally subside.
Clearly, these girls need a real demonstration of what I'm capable of. Otherwise, they'll never understand just how strong I really am.
His eyes swept the group, already picking out tonight's "victim."
Suddenly, the girls—mid-laughter and playful banter—felt a chill crawl down their spines. Especially Yukina, who was sure she'd just been marked.
After choosing his target, Shuo relaxed, joining Amber for a game and chatting with the others.
Night fell. Shuo slipped quietly into Yukina's room. The night was long, passionate, and left him completely satisfied.
Truth be told, Shuo had been itching to "discipline" Yukina for ages—her tsundere attitude always begged for a challenge.
Let her taste his true intensity. Maybe next time, she'd think twice before getting jealous.
The next morning, Shuo slipped out of the still-sleeping Yukina's room.
In the washroom, he found Asagi staring into the mirror, dark circles under her eyes.
"Asagi, you shouldn't stay up so late. It'll ruin your looks."
Asagi shot him a deadly glare.
"Oh, really? And whose fault is that? You two were so loud, I couldn't sleep a wink! With Yukina, no less! You—"
She trailed off, teeth grinding, eyes rolling so hard she nearly toppled over.
Shuo's face was the picture of awkwardness.
"I promise! Next time, I'll set up soundproofing. You won't be disturbed again, Asagi!"
Asagi's cheeks flared red. She hesitated, then squared her shoulders, voice firm.
"No need to wait for next time—come spend tonight with me!"
"What?!"
Shuo was floored. He hadn't expected Asagi's jealousy to be this fierce.
But if she was offering herself up, how could he refuse?
"Heh, don't worry. Tonight, I'll make sure my precious Asagi is well taken care of."
Asagi's face went scarlet. She glared shyly, then fled the washroom in a flustered rush.
Truth was, with so many girls in the house, Asagi's nerves were fraying—her bold move was desperation, pure and simple.
After breakfast, the group gathered in the living room, planning their next outing. It was August, school was out, and everyone was in high spirits.
Suddenly, Sayaka burst in, voice urgent.
"Shuo-kun! The Lion King Agency's Three Saints just sent word—there's a riot at Kannawa Lake. The Bee-Serpent is rampaging, and even dragons have appeared! Natsuki-sama and Hisano-sama are leading the defense."
"What?! Grandma's in danger?!"
Nagisa's cry was frantic. She clung to Shuo, eyes wide with panic.
"Shuo-kun, please—go save my grandmother!"
Shuo ruffled her hair, smiling reassuringly.
"Don't worry, Nagisa. I'm heading to Kannawa Lake right now. I'll keep your grandmother safe!"
And with that, Shuo vanished—gone in an instant.
