Chapter 104 - Chapter 104: Knocking Over The Space Carrier With One Punch

Boom! Boom! Boom!

High above New York City, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Helicarrier unleashed its bombing mode. Centered on Viking Avenue, a radius of several hundred meters was drowned in a relentless storm of firepower.

The thunderous explosions shook the entire city. The deafening roars reverberated through every street, and even the foundations of New York seemed to tremble.

Viking Avenue itself had vanished, replaced by a massive crater hundreds of meters wide. From its depths, a mushroom cloud rose, spreading high into the sky and blanketing the Helicarrier's surveillance systems.

Phil Coulson's eyes gleamed with a trace of hope. He prayed this would be the end of Allens. Even if they couldn't kill him outright, at the very least, they had to make him pay a heavy price.

"This is our most powerful weapon system," Coulson said gravely. "It's loaded with the latest Destroyer Cannon. Even Thor would be badly hurt if he took a direct hit."

Behind him, Leo Fitz's eyes sparkled with excitement. As part of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s science team, he had helped develop the cannon—a fusion of Asgard's Destroyer technology and Tesseract energy.

Beside him, Jemma Simmons was equally thrilled. The gaping craters left on Viking Avenue were proof of its devastating power. To her, this terrifying creation was the ultimate weapon of modern science.

"Coulson, do you think this is enough to bring down Allens?"

Standing further back, Daisy Johnson—known as Quake—watched with seething anger. The agony of having her brain nearly destroyed by Allens' attack was something no one else could comprehend. Her hatred for him burned like wildfire.

"I don't know," Coulson admitted, eyes locked on the mushroom cloud as it began to clear. He prayed for a glimpse of victory.

Swish—

His hopes were crushed in an instant. A figure shot out of the smoking crater, tearing through the mushroom cloud with blinding speed before halting in mid-air.

It was Allens.

And in his grasp was none other than Tony Stark.

"F***! Damn it, S.H.I.E.L.D.!" Tony cursed, his face twisted in anger. "I didn't die at the hands of an enemy—I nearly got killed by my own people! What kind of messed-up reality is this?"

Dangling in Allens' iron grip, Stark's usual composure vanished. Rage and fear flashed in his eyes.

Peng!

With a careless swing, Allens flung Tony to the ground like a rag doll, then launched himself back toward the Helicarrier above.

Boom!

The air itself bent and twisted in a semicircle as a deafening sonic boom erupted. Allens had accelerated past Mach 10.

"SIR! An unidentified object is approaching at extreme speed—faster than Mach 10 and still increasing!"

Inside the Helicarrier, a technician stared in disbelief at the radar screen.

"It's him. Allens!" Coulson barked. "Raise the energy shield!"

At once, a massive barrier of shimmering light spread across the Helicarrier's hull.

But Allens only sneered. "An energy shield? Useless."

His body flashed above the carrier. Drawing in a deep breath, he dived like a meteor, right fist cocked.

Rumble!

The force of his punch shattered the shield like glass. His Vibranium-hardened body tore through the deck as if it were paper.

Boom!

Allens' fist struck again, shaking the entire Helicarrier. The colossal ship began to list and fall, sending jets and vehicles sliding chaotically across the deck.

"SIR! The Helicarrier is losing altitude—rapidly! It's impossible—he's forcing down a ship weighing thousands of tons!"

The control room was bathed in red emergency lights as alarms screamed. Fitz's voice cracked with fear as he reported.

"F***! What kind of monster is this?!" Coulson muttered, thrown to the floor by the shockwave. His usually calm expression now showed raw fear.

The Helicarrier plummeted like a meteor, its descent accelerating.

"SIR! At this speed, if we hit the ground, New York will be obliterated!" another scientist cried, horror twisting his face.

"Break apart!" Allens roared.

Hovering above the falling carrier, he clenched his fist. Cracks spiderwebbed outward from the impact point, tearing across the massive structure.

Crack! Crack!

With a thunderous explosion, the Helicarrier split into two colossal pieces. Jets, vehicles, and wreckage tumbled from the sky, crashing down upon the city below.

Boom! Boom!

Skyscrapers crumbled beneath the rain of debris. Civilians who hadn't escaped were crushed, buried beneath mountains of steel and concrete.

Peng!

Allens descended from the sky, landing in front of Tony Stark. Stark sat slumped against the ruins of a collapsed building, his once-sharp suit battered and his face weary, almost homeless in appearance.

"Well," Tony said with a bitter laugh, his voice still carrying its signature arrogance, "congratulations, Allens. You've taken New York. You're the king of this city now."

Allens' cold eyes fixed on him.

"No. Not yet. Earth still has one Avenger I'm waiting for."

He raised his gaze toward the sky, a faint smile curling his lips.

"That's why I haven't destroyed New York completely. I'm waiting… waiting for the strongest Avenger to arrive."
