Chapter 106 - Chapter 106 Allensvs Captain Marvel

Boom. Boom.

Over New York City, a streak of golden light flashed across the sky before hovering above the skyline. It turned sharply, descending toward Wickham Avenue below.

"It seems the final Avenger—also the most powerful one—has finally arrived."

The yellow Mind Stone on Allens' forehead gleamed brightly. A faint smile tugged at his lips as he gazed upward. He was genuinely intrigued by this so-called strongest Avenger on Earth.

"WTF? The Avengers still have a strongest member? Hey, Allens, are you talking about me?"

Sitting among the ruins, leaning against a broken wall, Tony Stark gave a bitter smile. As one of the three most famous Avengers, he had no idea who else could be stronger than him.

Boom!

A dazzling golden beam crashed down from the heavens. Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers, finally arrived.

Hovering in the air, Carol frowned as she looked at the unnervingly young Allens standing before her. Her instincts screamed at her to finish this quickly.

On Earth, Carol had once made a deal with the cunning and manipulative living planet, Ego.

"Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers," Allens said coldly. "I've been waiting for you for quite some time."

The Mind Stone on his forehead pulsed.

"Wait—Ego, the living planet? You actually made a deal with him? Let's see what you got out of it. Oh... ten energy seeds powerful enough to destroy the Earth?"

Allens' expression grew strange. His telepathic powers let him easily read Carol's thoughts, and his tone carried both amusement and surprise.

"Well, I have to admit, Ms. Captain Marvel—you've managed to surprise me. I think I just found my next path forward."

His eyes deepened with meaning. Through Carol's mind, Allens had glimpsed possibilities for his own future.

"Nick Fury never said you had telepathy," Carol said coldly. She tapped her left wrist, activating a shimmering energy shield that enveloped her completely.

It was a Mind Isolation Shield—technology developed by the scientists of Planet Browne to counter mental abilities like telepathy.

"Shit," Tony muttered from behind the wall, eyes wide. "There really are other Avengers…"

"Tony Stark, playboy. I've heard of you," Carol said mockingly, glancing in his direction. "There's always a playboy like you on every planet—full of ego and always showing off."

"Hey, ma'am, I'll take that as a compliment," Tony said with a grin, spreading his hands. He seemed more amused than insulted.

Carol ignored him. Her right fist blazed with golden energy as she rocketed forward, punching straight at Allens.

Boom!

Allens caught her fist with his right hand. The collision unleashed a shockwave so powerful that the ground beneath them cracked apart. Carol twisted, bringing her left arm up for a high-speed uppercut—

Peng!

Her left hand froze midair, trapped by Allens' psychokinetic power. The force was so overwhelming that even Captain Marvel couldn't break free.

"Super strength and psychokinesis?" she muttered, gritting her teeth. "I have to admit, Allens—you're strong."

With a swift motion, she twisted her waist and broke free from his grip, driving a powerful kick into his chest.

Boom!

Allens' body transformed midair, his chest morphing into Vibranium to absorb the blow. Still, the sheer impact sent him skidding backward through the street, crashing into a nearby skyscraper and leaving a massive crater in the wall.

Carol raised her right hand, unleashing a golden energy beam directly into the hole. The explosion rocked the entire block.

Peng! Peng!

When the smoke cleared, Allens emerged unscathed—his body fully covered in gleaming silver Vibranium. Carol's energy blasts had done nothing.

Da, da, da.

Footsteps echoed through the rubble. Allens stepped forward, arcs of lightning crawling up his arms before converging into a massive thunderbolt that he hurled at Carol.

Crackling!

The lightning struck her head-on, sending her flying through the air. But Carol's body—evolved nearly to godhood—barely felt the impact.

"No wonder Nick Fury said you were dangerous," Carol said, her expression serious. "Your power really has reached the top of the Earth."

Her twin-star mode activated—her body glowing like a miniature sun. Her strength, speed, and reflexes all skyrocketed in an instant.

Boom!

The air itself warped. Carol vanished, reappearing in front of Allens in less than a heartbeat, and punched him so hard that his body was launched hundreds of meters backward, tearing through more than a dozen buildings.

"So fast…"

Allens steadied himself, unharmed thanks to his Vibranium body—but clearly impressed.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Carol appeared behind him again, raining down blows faster than the eye could see.

Peng! Peng! Peng!

Allens was tossed around midair like a rag doll, each strike cracking his Vibranium shell.

Boom!

Finally, Carol delivered a crushing kick that slammed Allens deep into the ground, creating a crater tens of meters wide.

At the bottom of the pit, Allens lay still for a moment—then smiled.

"As expected of Captain Marvel…" he said quietly. His eyes gleamed with fierce excitement. "This… this is the kind of battle I've been waiting for."

With that, Allens began to get serious.
