Chen Mo had Lu the Second buy some odd things, but the Second still knew roughly what they were for. He had a car, and a good one at that.
Lu Yingqiu was busy, cleaning the shop next to Lu Fang.
"When I was a kid, this shop was open too. Grandpa said one was my dad's, and this one belonged to my second uncle. He wanted them to run the businesses together, saying life would get better and better."
Chen Mo listened with some emotion.
The older generation was like this; they had a hard time accumulating wealth due to societal constraints. Mr. Lu being able to set up two shops in the town made him quite an accomplished person.
Leaving them both to his children was understandable, not a problem at all.
The place wasn't big, with a similar layout to Lu Fang, so Lu Yingqiu quickly finished cleaning.
Boss Lu moved swiftly, and returned carrying a beef tenderloin after just over half an hour.
"Brother Lu, I reckon you'll need a few more trips; one might not be enough."
