Chapter 111 - Ch.111

Because of past disappointments, Itadori and the others didn't hold high hopes for Gojo's description of a beautiful and gentle new classmate. Events quickly proved their skepticism correct, as high expectations often lead to greater disappointment.

When the group arrived at the station to wait, they saw an orange-haired girl who had a plump man by the collar, demanding he sign her immediately to be a star. The girl's unorthodox behavior quickly drew the attention of passersby, including Seiya and the others, who had been waiting nearby.

The girl had shoulder-length orange hair, stood about 1.6 meters tall, and was roughly their age. More importantly, she was wearing the same pure black Sorcerer uniform as them. It was clear that this girl, who was single-handedly holding a man by his collar and insisting on becoming a big star, was none other than the "very gentle" new classmate Gojo Satoru had described: Nobara Kugisaki.

"Kugisaki Nobara?"

Although the orange-haired girl's actions had onlookers staring, Gojo recognized the person they were waiting for and led Seiya and the others forward. Hearing her name called, the girl turned to them, and seeing their uniforms, she immediately realized they were from Tokyo Jujutsu High.

"I don't think I need to introduce myself," Gojo said, stepping aside to give the freshmen space to meet. "And these are the new students joining you this year."

Before Itadori could speak, Nobara, still holding the man's collar with one hand, raised the other to interrupt Itadori's attempted introduction. "I know you're from Jujutsu High, but I've just decided to change careers. Yes, I initially transferred to Jujutsu High to become a Sorcerer because I longed for life in a big city like Tokyo. But this talent scout just said he sees potential in me and wants to sign me as a big star! So, I've changed my mind and decided to switch professions. After all, being a Sorcerer is too dangerous compared to being a big star, and the income doesn't even compare."

Before Seiya and the others could respond to Nobara, the plump man she was holding by the collar desperately pleaded for rescue: "Please help me! I don't know this crazy woman, and I never said anything about making her a big star! I'm just an ordinary office worker! I'm not some impressive talent scout!"

At the man's denial, Nobara's face immediately contorted in anger. "What?! That's not what you told me earlier! Am I to understand that you're deceiving a lady?!"

Hearing the exchange, everyone except the slow-witted Itadori quickly figured out what had happened. Just as the angry Nobara pulled out a hammer decorated with a heart, ready to give the man a physical beatdown, Seiya reached out and stopped her.

"Your actions have already drawn the attention of many onlookers. Even if you want to punish him, you can't use this method; it's against the law," Seiya calmly advised. "If the police arrive, he's at most guilty of verbal deception and hasn't caused you any financial loss. But you've assaulted him, resulting in you being the one who ends up in jail."

Nobara's face was a picture of frustration. She glared at the defiant, smug-looking man. "So I should just let him go? I saw him on the train using the 'talent scout' identity to trick many girls, getting their contact info and even touching them inappropriately!"

Hearing this, Seiya and the others finally understood why she was so persistent. It wasn't that Nobara lacked intelligence and genuinely believed she could be a star, but that she wanted to take this chance to teach him a lesson.

"Oh, so he's a repeat offender. That makes things easier. People like him usually keep 'souvenirs' on their phones. Just call the police, and he'll be picking up soap in prison soon enough."

Itadori, whose understanding caught up after a brief explanation from Fushiguro, now looked at the sleazy man with deep contempt. Following Seiya's suggestion, Itadori quickly snatched the man's phone.

"Don't touch my phone! This is theft! Theft, do you understand?!"

Breaking the password of an ordinary phone was child's play for a Sorcerer. When the sleazy man's photo gallery was opened, the myriad of inappropriate pictures instantly confirmed their suspicions.

"Well, well. Not only did you impersonate a talent scout, but you're also a groper on the train? That just makes the evidence even stronger." Seiya saw the man's "achievements" in the gallery and immediately dialed the police.

When the call connected, Seiya spoke with extreme politeness: "Hello, my name is XXXX, and my profession is an experienced train groper. I am currently located at Tokyo Station Number Two. This phone I am calling from contains extensive evidence of my crimes. Could you please hurry and arrest me?"

The police receiving the call initially thought it was a prank, but when they cross-checked the phone number, they confirmed the reported identity matched the phone's registered owner. They had encountered self-surrenders before, but never one like this.

When the Tokyo police arrived at the location, they indeed found a sleazy, plump man tied to a roadside railing with his phone—the evidence—dangling from his neck. As the police took the man away, the group of five—four men and one woman—smiled.

"Thank you so much for your help just now. My name is Nobara Kugisaki. As you know, I transferred from the countryside to Tokyo Jujutsu High."

"Megumi Fushiguro," Fushiguro offered his usual concise self-introduction.

"I'm Yuji Itadori. Just like you, I haven't been in Tokyo for long." Although Nobara was nowhere near as gentle as Gojo claimed, her willingness to step up and help others earned her Itadori's immediate goodwill.

After hearing Itadori and Fushiguro's introductions, Nobara looked at Seiya, who had yet to introduce himself, and asked, "And you, what's your name? Thank you for your help just now. We're all around the same age, but you seemed to handle that situation with surprising ease."
