Chapter 342 - Chapter 342: Modern World Spoils; Su Han’s Television Ambitions

The massive, grotesque body of VenomMyotismon slumped into the ruins of Odaiba, dissolving into a cloud of digital ash that settled like heavy snow. The children erupted into cheers, their faces streaked with tears and soot.

On the roof of a nearby skyscraper, Jean and Hu Tao exhaled simultaneously.

"It's finally over," Hu Tao murmured, her soul-form shimmering as she prepared to return to her body. "Su Han-gege was right. It was a challenge, but totally doable with a bit of teamwork."

"We couldn't have done it without the two Mega-level Digimon," Jean noted, her eyes scanning the horizon. "Their raw power was the anchor we needed."

[Status: You may return now or stay for 1 hour.]

Jean looked at the remaining time. "We have an hour. We shouldn't leave empty-handed."

As the dark fog of Myotismon's influence vanished, the sky didn't return to a normal sunset. Instead, the clouds twisted into a distorted reflection of another world—continents and oceans hanging upside down in the atmosphere.

"What... what is that?!" Tai yelled, his joy turning to dread.

"The Dark Masters," Jean said solemnly. She turned to Koushiro, who was already frantically typing on his laptop. "Izzy, we need your help. We want to bring the technology of your world back to ours. Everything—communication data, engineering archives, broadcasting techniques."

"I can do that!" Koushiro's eyes sparkled with intellectual fervor. "If you saved our world, the least I can do is share its knowledge. I'll link up with Gennai and download everything to your servers!"

While Koushiro worked his digital magic, Matt's father led them toward a nearby industrial park.

"Take whatever you can carry," he told them. "The monster destroyed half the city anyway. We'll just say the rest was lost in the chaos."

For the next hour, Jean and Hu Tao became a two-woman logistics crew. They didn't bother with streetlights; they went for the high-end stuff: fiber-optic cables, cellular relay components, and the blueprints for television broadcasting. With Koushiro's help, they "packaged" the sum total of human technological advancement into their storage devices.

[The Jade Chamber – Strategy Room]

When Jean and Hu Tao returned, Albedo and Sucrose were already waiting.

"The server hub should be placed in the Underwater City," Su Han decided, looking over the blueprints. "It's the most secure location with a stable power supply. The Jade Chamber will act as the primary relay tower."

"I can have the first batch of six thousand television sets ready by tomorrow afternoon," Sucrose reported, her ears twitching with excitement. "Our alchemical manufacturing can bypass most of the traditional assembly lines. We can use magical runic polymers instead of plastics."

Su Han nodded. He wasn't just thinking about tech; he was thinking about the Soft Power of media.

"Television is a weapon of the heart," Su Han told the group. "We can use it to educate, to advertise, and most importantly, to tell the stories of our gods. If every person in Liyue watches the story of the God of the Stove, Guoba's intelligence will return in no time. We can turn belief into actual power."

[Multiverse Mission Chat Group]

Su Han: "Speed is of the essence. I want the cables laid and the relay towers built within twenty-four hours. We go live tomorrow night."

Sucrose: "Understood! The alchemical printers are already running."

Albedo: "I will handle the signal synchronization between the three nations. The borders will be bridged by glass and light."

Keqing: "Ningguang and I are already drafting the commercial contracts. But what about the content? Who will host the shows?"

Zhongli: "I can recommend several storytellers. Perhaps Yun Jin could perform her operas? It would reach many more souls than a tea house."

Ganyu: "Yun Jin would be perfect! She's actually a fan of yours, Su Han. She'd jump at the chance."

Su Han: "Good. I'll visit her tomorrow to set up the first day's schedule."

[Watatsumi Island]

Yae Miko had already traveled to Sangonomiya to pitch the "Media Buy."

"Advertising?" Kokomi leaned forward, her eyes sparkling with tactical greed. "If we can promote Watatsumi's tourism on this 'Television,' our tax revenue would triple overnight!"

"Precisely," Miko smirked, her fox tail twitching. "But for an ad to be effective, you need an idol. A star that everyone recognizes."

Kokomi's gaze immediately shifted to her general.

"No," Gorou whispered, his ears pinning back in terror. "I know that look. Your Excellency, please..."

"Five minutes," Miko held up a finger. "I've negotiated a five-minute prime-time slot for Watatsumi. But the condition is that 'Miss Hina' must be the host."

"For the sake of Watatsumi's budget, Gorou... you must make this sacrifice," Kokomi said, her voice filled with mock-solemnity.

"I hate this world!" Gorou wailed, but his fate was sealed. The first viral idol of the Teyvat Broadcasting Network was born.
