A/N: Guys, I tried writing in first person POV now that Taranis has regained his memories, since the story was always in his POV from the beginning. But after writing the past three chapters in first person, I realised I'm more comfortable writing in third person POV, so I will be permanently shifting to that. "Is this the Western Continent?" Evangeline asked, a low gasp escaping her lips. She was hovering in the air beside Taranis above the Abyssal Sea, her eyes fixed on the vast land ahead.
On one side, the border of the continent was covered in high mountains as far as the eye could see.
A deep ravine was carved into the land before the mountains, separating them from the plains. A few kilometres ahead, even the mountains were carved open along the path of the ravine in an expanding V.
