Chapter 93 - The Premiere! Tony Appears Again!

The NYPD returned triumphantly from Sykes Corporation.

The Bigfoot Gang—wiped out!The mastermind, Shredder—arrested!Crowds of onlookers outside were buzzing with excitement. Many swore they'd caught a glimpse of Batman himself, and the city was instantly ablaze with gossip.

George didn't immediately follow the task force back to headquarters. Instead, he accompanied the Turtles into the sewers—down to the underground dojo that had been their home since childhood.

There, he met a rat-like humanoid—Splinter.

Feeling a bit uneasy, George sat down to talk with him.

A short while later, he emerged from the dojo with relief written across his face, followed by the four Turtles at his side.

They walked openly into the NYPD building—broad daylight, heads held high.

Meanwhile, George recalled seeing Eddie during the Sykes operation.

The public deserved to know about these new "Turtle" recruits. Their existence needed to be made official—through a credible media outlet.

So, he picked up the phone and called The Daily Bugle.

Soon enough, Eddie showed up, dragging Phil along, both men thrilled for an exclusive. They recorded the entire process and even managed to secure a full interview with the four Turtles.

The next day.

The news hit New York like a storm.

"Turtle Warriors Join NYPD!"

The story crushed the fading hype of the Green Goblin incident.

Photos of the Turtles striking heroic poses spread like wildfire.Their bodies—muscular, armored, and unmistakably mutant—looked nothing short of awe-inspiring.

The Bugle's special feature revealed their backstory in vivid detail, and soon, the public gave them a fitting name:

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."

Although the citizens of New York were still unfamiliar with these four newcomers, their shocking appearance made them impossible to ignore.

It was like the Lizard Man incident all over again—no one would've believed such "monsters" could be the good guys without official confirmation.

The streets buzzed with debate.

Reporters secretly interviewed several NYPD officers, only to find that most were surprisingly supportive of the Turtles' enlistment.

Then The Daily Bugle dropped yet another bombshell headline, fanning the flames:

"The Ninja Turtles Are Batman's Disciples!"

The article claimed the Turtles had played a crucial role in the Sykes operation, and that Batman himself had appeared because he was training them.

The internet exploded.Forums, social media, and news channels all lit up with speculation.

But the people at the center of the storm—the Turtles and Anton—barely paid any attention to the noise.

The Turtles were simply enjoying life under the sun.

George personally arranged an office for them inside the NYPD headquarters and even converted a nearby sewer access point by the parking lot into their exclusive entryway.

The Turtles couldn't have been happier.

As for the other key player—Anton—he'd already flown overnight to Los Angeles, attending the premiere of the Cyborg movie.

After a long period of preparation, the film was finally ready for release.

At Jim's suggestion, Anton even sent an invitation to Tony Stark on a whim.

Whether Tony would actually show up was another matter entirely.

Outside the event venue, the red carpet gleamed under camera flashes.Celebrities and industry elites flooded in, and the premiere began right on schedule—thanks to Jim's meticulous planning.

Luxury cars pulled up one after another.Famous stars stepped out, waving and smiling as reporters snapped photos nonstop.

Originally, Harry Osborn was supposed to attend and walk the carpet. But ever since Norman's disappearance, the internal power struggle at Oscorp had reached a boiling point.

As the heir caught in the storm, Harry had no time for public events. Still, he called Anton to wish him a successful premiere.

Just before hanging up, he hesitated for a long time before asking softly:

"Anton, do you… really think my father is dead?"

"Hard to say," Anton replied vaguely.

But before ending the call, he made sure to wish Harry good luck.

When all the other guests had finished walking the carpet, it was time for the main production team.

Anton and the core crew moved quickly across, barely pausing for the cameras—they weren't here for the spotlight.

Still, per the schedule, Anton stopped briefly before the massive movie poster to answer a few questions.

"Director Anton, what are your expectations for your new film?"

"We heard Batman showed up in New York again! Since The Daily Bugle has a close relationship with him, is there any plan for an exclusive interview?"

"What kind of movie is Cyborg?"

Anton smiled politely and replied in short, composed sentences:

"I expect it to do well. No plans for a Batman interview—for now. And Cyborg… is a good movie."

He had just finished and was about to head inside when another car rolled up to the red carpet.

The main crew was supposed to be last—so who could this be?

Who was showing up late to a premiere?

Anton paused mid-step, curiosity flickering in his eyes as he watched the vehicle stop.

The driver's door opened—revealing a slightly chubby figure.

"That's Happy Hogan! Tony Stark's bodyguard!"

"Then that means—Tony's in the car!"

A reporter shouted the obvious, and instantly, the crowd went wild.

"Tony Stark actually came to the premiere?!""Didn't he disappear from the public eye after Afghanistan? Why's he suddenly showing up now?"

The press swarmed toward the Audi like piranhas.

"Tony! What made you come to this event?""Can you comment on Stark Industries' situation? Are you really shutting down the weapons division?""Is it true that you're suffering from brain damage, like the company statement implied?"

Reporters closed in from all sides, their questions overlapping in chaos.

But Tony Stark—ever the man of confidence—remained calm, his trademark smirk never leaving his face.

"Someone invited me. So… I came."

"As for Stark Industries—no comment for now."

Behind him, poor Happy was drenched in sweat, struggling to carve a path through the press until they finally made it inside.

Once safely past the crowd, Happy exhaled in relief.

Tony stopped, looking ahead at the "old friend" who'd been waiting inside.A teasing grin tugged at his lips.

"Anton. I heard that when Batman was released, someone started spreading rumors that I'd died—and even called it my posthumous work."

Anton smiled, utterly unbothered.

"Yeah, I heard about that too. Terrible people, right?"

He extended a hand with a perfectly calm expression.

"Still, I honestly didn't expect you to come."

Tony shook his hand, eyes narrowing slightly.

"After being cooped up at home for so long, I figured I'd come out for some fresh air."

He didn't press further—just kept that knowing, playful look as the two walked inside.

Then they took their seats, waiting for the movie to begin.
